Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 8
Warnings: referenced captivity, referenced torture, restraints, rescue, hospital, interrogation
“You need to tell me exactly what happened,” Kyle said as he sat down opposite Lance back at headquarters. “Every last detail.”
“What good will that do you?” Lance had his cuffed wrists on the table. “He’s alive. The hospital saved him.”
Kyle glared at Lance. “Just because he’s alive doesn’t mean that they don’t need all the information of what happened to him.” Kyle had been convinced the moments in the car and the moments just after pulling into the hospital were going to be the last moments he saw of James. He had been convinced when James’ heart had stopped a second time that was it. That he had failed his friend and that his friend was dead.
The relief that had flooded him, that had flooded the whole team, when a doctor had come out to tell them that James was alive, but in critical condition was a feeling he would never forget. James was alive. James was alive.
“Dexter tortured him. What else is there to say? I kept telling you to come, it’s not my fault it took you so long to figure out where we were.”
“You could have helped us,” Kyle growled.
Lance looked offended. “I did help you. I sent you video after video. I gave you what I could. I did what I could.”
“It wasn’t enough! You could have stopped any of it. You could have helped him!”
Lance let out a humorless laugh. “If you think any of that is true, then you are much more stupid than I thought. James spoke so highly of his team I would have thought you could do better than this.”
With a roar, Kyle flipped the table between the two of them. “YOU DON’T GET TO SAY HIS NAME. YOU DON’T GET TO TALK ABOUT HIM. TELL ME WHAT DEXTER DID. TELL ME OR ELSE YOU WILL SUFFER WHATEVER HAPPENS TO JAMES TENFOLD.”
“Enough!” Lily shouted as she opened the door. “That is enough!”
“He,” Kyle pointed an accusatory finger at Lance, “isn’t cooperating. I would like to employ some other methods to get him to talk.”
“Don’t bother,” Max said as he poked his head in, “we’re going to the hospital right now.”
Kyle’s mouth went dry. No. “Is….Is he…..” but he couldn’t bring himself to say the words he had dreaded hearing. Couldn’t bring himself to say the words that would change the team forever. He couldn’t say it.
“He’s awake.”

"Is that all, officer? I answered everything. Is there something else before I can go home?"
"Oh, yes. You're going to get tortured now"
"...w-?"
-------------------------
I had a whole dream tonight about escaping from some officers of corrupted goverment that send assasins after people and brutally interrogate the suspects.
And that dialogue is all I remember from the complicated lore ahhggg

What kind of "pressures" did Lara go through that made her finally give in to the government? Has she had lasting effects from this?
Everyone at that prison were interrogated about Captain America and Barnes location and his future plans. Lara was the last one in the line and interrogator noticed that Sam looked very worried when Lara was to be taken next. So they decided to work with that.
They thought that if they scare Barton bad enough and if she loses her attitude, everyone will be worried about what they did to her and will talk more openly. Lara understood that she can't bring her friends in more danger. She just mocked the interrogator and was very sassy and rude. So they decided to use words of physical violence. But Lara is a tough one :)
Everytime she was returned back to her cell, she acted like nothing happened to not worry boys but they were told what exactly Barton was going through. Scott didn't know Hawkeye enough, but he didn't want any harm to her for sure. But they couldn't take a lot of information from Scott so it was useless.
Lara didn't listen much when Tony showed up, so she found out about Zemo later.
For mental torture, they decided to make Barton watch over Wanda's cell monitor for hours to "look if the witch was up to something". She was not allowed to rest her head and look in other directions. And once they realized that Barton won't tell anything, interrogator said out loud that they need to change their focus on Wanda and send a soldier to bring Wanda here, so Barton could see it. She saw on the monitor that a soldier roughly lifted Wanda from the floor and Lara couldn't let Wanda suffer the way she did. So that's was the break point. They would leave Wanda alone if Barton told them everything she knew and a bit more about the insides of the Avengers.
I don't think that this affected Lara much. I mean, only physical damage and her own guilt for telling too much. She did it to protect Wanda, but Lara is still ashamed of what she did.

Interrogation commentators really do pause on a suspect scratching their face and start saying shit like, "Face-scratching is a self-soothing behaviour and a typical sign of BPD. People who have this extreme mental defect are children of the devil and have no regard for human life. Also when this guy was 10 he removed the ladder from a pool on the Sims to watch the characters drown. This guy is a textbook psycho and should die in jail for his crimes but also because he has a condition that cannot be prevented or cured which implies that every neurodivergent person should simply be executed."

Febuwhump day 13: "You Weren't Supposed to Get Hurt"
Rye had been in some tough situations before, like when his ‘friends’ tricked him into getting trapped in a scrapyard, or when his parents caught him skipping school for the first time, or when he got caught trying to steal from a store, but nothing like this. Nothing like sitting in a chair with a sack over his head and his hands tied behind his back. His nose itched.
He wasn’t even that far from the house when they grabbed him. He wondered how long it would take the others to realize he was gone or where he was. He didn’t even know where he was.
A door opened somewhere in front of him and he tried not to flinch as it slammed shut behind whoever walked in. Footsteps echoed off the walls as the person approached and Rye tried not to show how scared he actually felt.
The bag was ripped off his head, the light blinding his eyes struggled to adjust. Rye blinked as he looked up at the person, squinting against the light on the ceiling behind them. It was King Somsny, the man who had tried to put him in the dungeon a couple dimensions ago, although Rye had heard Elio call him Dr. Somsny. Rye couldn’t help but wonder if the man actually had his doctorate.
The man looked… worse than last time Rye had seem him. His black hair was disheveled and there was stubble on his chin. His clothes were wrinkled and his tie was hanging loose around his neck. Elio had been cagey to say the least about Dr. Somsny but they had told Rye a few things. Dr. Somsny was an inventor and was not a good person. Rye had gathered the later after his first interaction with the man.
“Nice to see you again, Rye was it?” Dr. Somsny said, hands clasped behind his back.
“I’m sorry, who are you?” Rye said, watching in satisfaction as the doctors smirk twitched ever so slightly.
“Very funny. I know you are too smart to forget me that easily,” Dr. Somsny said, starting to walk in a slow circle around Rye. “And because you’re a smart kid, I bet you know a lot about what Elio is doing. Tell me, what invention are they working on next?”
Rye rolled his eyes. Of course, even his own kidnapping had nothing to actually do with him. Should he feel insulted? He felt a little insulted. A curly brown lock fell in front of his face and he attempted to blow it out of the way.
“I don’t know what your talking about, Elio invents things?” Rye said, leaning his head back a bit in an attempt to keep an eye on Dr. Somsny.
“You can try to dodge the question as much as you want but I know that you know something. You haven’t been at least a little curious about what they have been working on, or how their machines work?” Dr. Somsny asked, walking back in front of Rye and leaning down a little, getting closer to Rye’s face.
Of course Rye has, but Elio just recently started trusting them enough to give out that kind of information. They were so protective of their machines and the knowledge it took to make them. Rye wasn’t about to loose that trust now.
“Dodge this!” Rye kicked up at him, attempting to kick him in the face. Dr. Somsny took a step back before his foot could make contact though and the momentum caused Rye’s chair to tip backwards.
Rye yelped as the chair went past the point of no return and came crashing to the ground. Rye’s hands, unfortunately, hit the ground first, taking the blunt of the force as the chair hit the ground. Rye cried out as his hands were crushed under his weight and the weight of the chair.
Dr. Somsny watched with a slightly amused expression on his face for a moment before slowly going to right Rye up again. “Just answer my questions and then I’ll leave you be until someone comes to collect you.”
“Like I’d believe anything you say,” Rye said, smirking through the pain in his hands. He wondered how bruised they looked. “Why do you want to know what they are inventing anyway? What? Running out of ideas old man?”
“I am not running out of ideas.”
“Oh, sorry, did you have original ideas to begin with?”
Oh, that got a reaction out of him. Dr. Somsny turned around, walking over to the door and taking a deep breath or two. Rye couldn’t help but chuckle a little at how mad he was getting. Rye must have really struck a nerve with that last comment. After a moment, the doctor turned around, having found his composure once again.
“I have invented machines of great destruction and creation. I do not need ideas from a simple self-taught inventor such as Elio,” he said, walking back over to Rye.
“Yet you still see them as a threat.”
“A fool is sometimes more dangerous than a genius. More unpredictable.”
“I think you’re the fool in this scenario cause you’re defiantly not the genius.”
“You know, you weren’t supposed to get hurt,” the doctor started, looking down at Rye. “You are more or less bait to draw Elio out, but that doesn’t mean I won’t hurt you if I feel the need to.”
Rye looked up at the man, reply dying on his tongue as he saw the deadly serious look in Dr. Somsny’s eyes. Rye swallowed roughly, his fearless mask starting to crack.

Captured Thug, the 1-4-1 are interrogating: Least you can do is have that tart suck me off.
[He nods towards R/n, who grimaces in disgust, (she was disguised as a hooker and they used her to capture the bloke.)]
[The air in the room grows colder as Ghost slowly approaches the tied up man.]
Ghost: That’s all you think she is, eh? Some Tart?
Thug: She gave me blue balls.
Ghost: Oh, Did she?~
[Ghost suddenly rams his foot into the guy’s crotch hard, causing the man to howl in utter agony.]
Ghost: There. Now they’re black and blue balls....

the kenobi show has given me so much Jedi content and I’m so glad, but also as someone who’s Jewish, it’s made me Incredibly Aware of exactly how many people in the fandom would fall for Nazi rhetoric - like when I see people saying “the Holocaust was bad” but then going “the Jedi deserved their fall” in the next breath, it doesn’t give me a lot of hope that people actually know why the Holocaust was bad, or that they’d be able to see through the propaganda if it occurred today
Absolutely, completely, and totally. The inability of many fans to correctly parse a narrative, to evaluate the credibility of information based on the person delivering it, and instead believing obvious, malicious propaganda because it satisfies their vicarious craving for power, listening and trusting the people wearing literal black cloaks and surrounded by stormtroopers, it is all depressing at best and deeply concerning at worst.
We share a fandom with people who argue with their whole chest that fascism is better than democracy, and that genocide was not only deserved, but also a net benefit for society at large, either ignoring or accepting without problem the blatant, shouted, real world antisemitic parallels. I don’t know if they are projecting their religious trauma from Christian institutions onto the Jedi, and so don’t see the antisemitism of reveling in their genocide, but that’s my most charitable explanation.
It’s so frustrating how they happily share and support Sidious’s version of reality, the view that was put into Anakin’s mouth on Mustafar to show how far he had fallen into evil, not to frame him as being right. They aren’t guided by compassion for innocent people, or maybe even aware of the history of very real atrocities, but it’s no excuse when it’s a sign of being incurious about the experience of others unlike yourself, and unconcerned with their suffering.
Watching Episode 5 and hearing Reva’s story about hiding among the bodies, my first thought when I was watching was about the 33,771 Jews killed at Babi Yar, and the survivor narratives, which included hiding among the dead. I think everyone needs to know about the very real, historical analogies to the things depicted on screen and understand why it is so important for us to agree about who are right and wrong about genocide, even in a fictional form.
I am not Jewish, but it matters to me a great deal to protect Jewish lives and to make sure it never happens again, both specifically to Jewish people and to other vulnerable minorities as well. Our stories should inspire us to be vigilant about the creep of fascism, not inspire us to argue in defense of fascists and enjoy their violence. Yes, it is just Star Wars, yet it is also much more than that. The stakes of all of this are actually indescribably high.

The interrogation of the stoic leader
Pt 1 (just a drabble)
(Tw: interrogation, torture, restrained, blackmailing, implied war/political conflicts)
You know what's neat? Interrogator playing psychological games, yes. But with stoic, charismatic Leader figure as a Whumpee acting like an equal?
"You chose your priorities, Whumper. I chose mine. There's nothing more I have to say to you"
"Go on, do what you planned to do. You can kick me or chain me to a floor if it will make you feel a little bigger than you are"
"Blackmailing won't really work, Whumper. I'm ready for sacrifices. Try bargaining. We can make a deal. Information for a favour"
"Hmm... This? No, I'm not telling you this one. But I can tell you about [X] instead. Are you interested?"
"Is your pride hurting, Whumper? Do I ruin your statistics?"
"Lower your voice down and let me finish the f##ing sentence. Why do you even ask the questions if you don't let me answer?"
"According to the [X]th sub-clause of the Criminal Law Act, I have the right to remain silent on a case which, if resolved without the presence of a lawyer, could be detrimental to me or my relatives" repeated over and over and over and over again. As the interrogation goes, this sentence becomes messier and shorter. "Law act... Cri... Criminal law... I- have th- I have right to..."
(W) "Do you really hope for anyone to get you out of here?" (L) "No... No, I don't. I just believe in what I'm doing. Do you?"
------------------------
And what if Whumper is as charismatic and confident as Leader is? Interrogation session might turn to be a big philosophical dispute while having a knife pressed against the throat.
The conflict of values. The tension. Yes. Please.

Slamming whumpee’s head into the table during the course of an interrogation.
Whenever they talk back. Whenever they give a perceived lie— Whumper is behind them and slamming their head into the wooden table.
Again and again and again. Until their nose is past broken and they’re choking on blood. They can’t give away the information they hold— but they’re missing teeth and their head is pounding. They just want it to stop. Please. They didn’t realize they were begging until Whumper told them that it won’t help them— and the table rises up to meet them once again.
Soon, Whumpee’s only hope is that Whumper will hit them hard enough that the darkness filling the corners of their vision will envelop them.

“I’ve got her”
Word Count: 420
Warnings: mentions of torture, mentions of non consensual drugging, deliciousness, aftermath of torture
Whumpee was absolutely terrified, her senses dulled and distorted by days worth of torture and drugging, her eyes and ears still fighting to pierce through the haze whatsoever.
Someone was holding her, keeping her close to their chest. They were moving, she was moving—where were they taking her now? Her head still hurt so much, she hoped they wouldn’t do another round of interrogations today…
A voice began filtering through, from somewhere. Whumpee couldn’t tell where, everything sounded like she was underwater, but it was the first time she’d been able to make out words in quite some time. The voice was low, smooth.
“I’ve got her, I got her. Get the medical guys ready, I—I don’t think they broke anything, but they definitely gave her something. She isn’t…”
The voice kept talking, but Whumpee couldn’t make out the rest of it. She tried again to blink through the haze, fighting harder now to keep her eyes open. She could still hear the person holding her, and she wanted to grip onto the sound for dear life. She couldn’t pick the words apart, but the sound itself felt so safe, like the warm breeze she’d been desperate for after that cold cell. A stray thought occurred—maybe this was a dream after all. A hazy vision of safety, with a beautiful voice and strong hands, giving her a few hours of respite.
Whumpee let out a quiet sigh, her fear and apprehension giving way to relief. She still couldn’t make sense of what was happening, but this voice wasn’t going to hurt her. It was a natural instinct, something deep in her mind that persisted past the haze and delirium—she was safe with this person, and she knew it.
“Hey, Whumpee, can you hear me? Might be hard for you to talk, that’s okay…I just need to make sure you can understand me.”
Whumpee frowned. Why would a dream ask her that? But, she nodded anyway, worry stirring in her gut with how difficult the simple action was.
Caretaker frowned back, carefully setting Whumpee down on a stretcher. “You can? That’s good, honey…that’s good. I’m gonna stay with you.” He pushed her hair from her face, brow furrowing with worry. She looked completely out of it, her eyes unfocused and her expression distant.
Whumpee closed her eyes, trying her best to maintain her grip on Caretaker’s hand. She still wasn’t fully convinced any of this was real, but she knew she didn’t want to be left in the empty haze again.

hii hope youre doing well! could you do some sci fi whump prompts please? ^^
Sure thing! Since sci-fi has a wide range, the prompts are kind of all over the board:
Spaceship crash
Alien viruses or toxins
Otherwordly parasites
Laser or radiation burns
Prejudice between alien races
Alien interrogation/experimentation
Lost/separated on an unknown planet
Hunted down for collection as a "rare species"
Futuristic biomechanical implants malfunctioning
Telepathic whumper intruding in whumpee's mind
Space sickness (similar symptoms to motion sickness)
Punishment/imprisonment for breaking alien cultural rules
Painkillers/other medicines don't work for whumpee's species
Food poisoning; alien rations unsuitable for whumpee's species
Universal translator breaking; whumpee and other characters struggle to communicate
Alien caretaker(s) trying to treat whumpee's injuries and worsening them instead because they're unfamiliar with their biology
Spaceship systems malfunctioning: losing oxygen, losing heat, increased pressure of gravity, trapped mid-teleporation, etc.
