Zero out of zero doctors recommend these frog earrings. That's 100% of the doctors we asked.

Despite the gameplay being stale and repetitive I still enjoy Pocket Camp because it's doesn't ask as much of me as a regular Animal Crossing game does. Plus, you can be friends with people who make the coolest profile pictures. Like this!
Tumblr media
Frogger reference ftw!
Aaaand you can also be friends with people who make pics like this:
Tumblr media
I wish we had a chat feature because I'd love to ask CC here "what the fuck"...
Add me on Pocket Camp if you like!

what the fuck is croakichi
Let me tell you a story, anon.
The year is 2020, and I am bored out of my mind in quarantine, as we all were. During one of these boredom fests, I happened upon kokichis-dead-dove-club and his streams (which he did fairly often at the time), and I would drop in on them occasionally.
I was suddenly cursed by a frog pun from the depths of my mind (seriously, I have no idea how or why I thought of it) , and I rushed to make an image to send to him and the other stream viewers. When I say rushed, I mean RUSHED. It took me at most 5 minutes, and most of that was removing the background of the frog image.
I give you, dear anon, Croakichi:

The original image is now functionally lost media and this is the only proof I have that it ever existed

TW!! insects, beetles, frogs
i find it very interesting that Olimar notes in the Piklopedia how the White Pikmin, despite being poisonous beings, do not have a bright or striking colour, rather having their titular hue
it's amazing!! normally, in nature, an animal or a plant that's venomous/poisonous will display vibrant colours to warn other creatures to stay away
this is called Aposematism!
the use of warning colouration in animals and plants to indicate that they are dangerous in one way or another, be it poison, venom or any other kind of threat!!
while yes, white is one of the colours some will display, it usually comes in a striking or eye catching pattern like that of a skunk or a honey badger
but for my main example i'm taking notes from the Poison Dart Frog and Yellow Blister Beetles (yes, they look a lot like Anode Beetles!!!)
the frogs have very bright colouration, ranging from a solid coat of colour, like the Golden Poison Dart Frog, to more intricate patterns like the Amazon Poison Dart Frog
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Yellow Blister Beetles have yellow stripes or sometimes spots on their solid black backs, and once crushed or squeezed, they will release toxins
Tumblr media Tumblr media
as for plants, i think my best example would be the Nightshade family
Tumblr media
but Moth!! there are many poisonous flowers out there with white colouration!!
you are very right! there are! Lilies, Giant Hogweed, Jimson Weed and Water Hemlock to name a few!
however i bring you this: Pikmin, and by extent the Ambuloradicis class, are both stated to exhibit both animal and plant traits, and since they do show more "animal" traits, i decided to give this one characteristic to them
therefore, it would make sense the Pikmin are very brightly coloured! little guys won't go down without a fight!
but White Pikmin?? why not show vibrant colours or eye catching patterns??
and here's where i want to do some fun speculation:
creatures that consume the Pikmin are also prey, yes? the Pikmin coexist with the planet's flora and fauna through the natural cycle of life and death: the Pikmin that are consumed give life to others, produce nutrients and therefore produce more offspring for said bugs; the beings that are hunted by the Pikmin will, in turn, become nutrients for the Onion to produce more seeds
what i'm going for is - the Pikmin and the Creatures need each other to thrive, they consume each other so that they will both live, it creates a balance!
back to the White Pikmin, i think it would make sense that they don't decide to outright present themselves as dangerous: to be consumed by a bug would mean that it would get poisoned and die, therefore becoming another corpse for the Pikmin to feed to their Onion- simple!
however i do see some flaws in this little headcanon: while not very striking, the White Pikmin's body colour makes a nice contrast to their vibrant red eyes and you can even see a hint of purple creeping on their limbs!
maybe there's no special reason for them to be just white, maybe it's just a fun colour!
a hungry Bulborb would no doubt eat the very first tiny carrot in front of it, even if it's got an interesting colour to it!
but this was all just an excuse to ramble about my favourite things: nature and Pikmin!!
edit: added pictures! pretty pictures... :]

Found your account from one of my mutuals reblogging that one mini frog post, could I learn about some fucked up frogs :D
Everybody is always banging on about Pipa pipa. Nobody is ever talking about how fucked up Hemiphractidae reproduction is
Like, they range from concealed carry, like this Gastrotheca orophylax
Tumblr media
[src]
which they achieve with a pouch that has a weird ass opening (lack of hyphenation intentional) (not actually anywhere near the cloaca of the frog) (this has earned them the common name 'marsupial frogs' for a very obvious reason)
Tumblr media
[src]
…to open carry, like this Fritziana goeldii
Tumblr media
[src]
which hatch out but remain glued on until developing sufficiently, like this Cryptobatrachus boulengeri
Tumblr media
[src]
Pretty fucked up, if you ask me.

You like frogs? Have you seen the tapir/chocolate frog?
WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE HOGWARTS EXPRESS' CHOCOLATE
Tumblr media
Synapturanus danta sp. nov., Microhylidae (reptilesmagazine.com, 2022)
honestly I'm not really into amphibia nor reptiles because their body is so slimy and flabby? mushy? squishy but in a ticklish way?? idk kinda hard to describe it 😭😭 I only put frogs as an example tags to shows that I'd rather looking at frogs all day than wtv sessrinners post 😂😂
but thank you anon for telling me this new species! it's so amazing honestly because each year there would always be new species found from tropical rainforest, not just in America but also in Asia and Africa. Tropical region truly is the home of biodiversity 😊😊 LOL sorry for promoting tropical rainforests, it's just my fav type of forest (bcs I live near it) 🤣🤣
