Round 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Propaganda Under Cut
Sharon Carter
Sharon is portrayed as a conniving, meddling bitch/villain in fics. Multiple authors flat-out say that they need someone to be the bitch or villain in their fics and they used Sharon. She got so much hatred based on Steve kissing her in Civil War in 2016 that Marvel Studios changed its entire plan for multiple characters. This is despite how Sharon has been Steve's main love interest in the comics since December 9, 1965. Despite being off and on for decades (three of Steve's other love interests were while she was supposedly dead, with at least one writer saying they only created the love interest because Sharon was dead at the time)
When she first appeared she was unfairly treated by fans for "getting in the way" of the Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes ship. A shame because she's a really good character. I'd talk more about how unfairly Sharon, and her actress Emily VanCamp, have been treated by the fanbase and the creators, but that's a different story.
She and Steve Rogers were meant to have a romantic relationship, but the entire fandom and many Stucky fans dislike her because it wasn’t a good ship. I think she isn’t the best but she doesn’t deserve so much hate
Elizabeth Midford
She started as just a cutie fiancée trying her best, turns out she's also a swordfighting genius, very under pressure to perform feminity in the Victorian Rose type of way. Fandom crucifies her bc she's Ciel's fiancée and they want him to be with his butler, Sebastian, the demon he sold his soul to for revenge
anime was a shitty canon divergent adaptation that butchered her character down to her "cutesy silly girly" persona, which obviously made the 2008 anime fans hate her with a passion (nothing wrong w being girly I'm just saying the adaptation made her super one dimensional) anyways fujoshis used to treat her as a villain because she's the fiance of Ciel,, who as u might know already was HEAVILY shipped with his butler, Sebastian back then (now it's kinda looked badly upon, nice tbh that ship sucks ass xD) She's a bit similar to Misa Amane from death note in the way she was treated. (Like an obstacle the yaoi ship must overcome rather than a person)
she's my silly little rabbit! i could gush about her character but i'll keep it short and just say that she's really well written and one of the best characters in the series. anyways she's ciel's fiance and she's like, rightfully annoying as any other 13 yr old girl would be but the fanbase fucking crucified her for even existing. she gets demonized for being 'annoying', but then ciel gets yaoishipped with an even more annoying guy. there is 100% an argument that lizzie/ciel is weird bc they're cousins (i personally don't ship it) but that falls flat when her detractors then ship the 13 yr old ciel with an eons old demon who Canonically looks like his father. the anime also never reached her main character development until years after its peak and that was only in a movie, so she really got the bad end of the stick here. not me though i had a giant crush on her when i was 12

Tumblr media
Peter lay comfortably on his bed while reading some comic book he took from Scott’s room when he wasn’t around. He had his headphones on and was listening to Floyd at full volume. Because of this, he missed the knocking on the door.
He looked up and took the headphones off. “It’s basic manners to knock before you enter, you know?”
You rolled your eyes and stepped into the room, leaving the door open behind you.
“I can hear the music from over here. Why don’t you turn the volume down before you become mute.”
He furrowed his eyebrows, puzzled. “You mean deaf?”
You sighed at the realisation. Peter just grinned and slowly incorporated himself, leaving the comic and the headphones on the bed.
“Let me be. I’m too tired to think right now.” You pinched your nose bridge while still holding onto the door knob. Your eyelids were heavy from fatigue.
“Oh yeah, you weren’t around for breakfast. We should prohibit missions before 9 A.M.” He looked into the distance dramatically, remembering the many times he had been forced to wake up in the early morning hours to rescue civilians from burning buildings and such. Why couldn’t people blow buildings up in the afternoon?
“Why don’t you take a nap, though?” He ended up asking.
“That’s why I am here. The other kids are doing some massive fort out of pillow in the living room, and they took mine as well, and you know I can’t sleep without hugging something.”
“You didn’t fight for your beloved pillows? That sure is out of character.” He smirked teasingly.
“Last time I did, I ended up getting scolded by the Professor for sticking them to the wall with my powers. Anyway, would you lend me some-”
He grabbed the bag full of dirty laundry he had been leaning on. “Mine were also taken.”
You groaned displeased, and were about to leave the room when he quickly added, “You could use me as a pillow.”
You stopped in your tracks and looked at him, throwing a deadly glance. You saw him flinch.
“Nevermind, I wouldn’t qualify as a pillow anyway…huh?”
Peter didn’t know how to react to you dragging your feet in his direction. You took off some layers from your outfit and threw them on the ground without a care in the world. Then you climbed onto the bed. Finally, Peter snapped out of his confusion and smirked to himself, laying his head on the bag packed with laundry and spreading his arm so he could embrace you as you laid your head on his chest. You hugged his waist and put a leg on him, just as if he was a pillow. He looked down at you happily and made sure you felt comfortable. Then he squeezed you gently.
“I thought you wanted to hang me for offering you myself. You really must be tired to have accepted my request.” He admitted.
“I will hang you if you don’t shut it, speedy boy”, You replied, your eyes already closed.
He just giggled and rested his head on yours. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Didn’t you go get them?” asked Jean, already in her suit.
Scott replied in an annoyed tone. “Not in their room, and not in the living room sticking people to the wall. I can’t find them anywhere. Can we just go without them?” Scott groaned at Jean’s disapproving look. “I don’t know why the Professor insists on bringing them along. We already have you as a psychic.”
“Stop complaining, will you? Go look for them in Peter’s room.”
“They are the most antisocial person I have ever met, and you believe they’d be together in a room? We would have seen Peter flying off a window already.” Scott followed Jean to Peter’s room.
“Don’t be dramatic. They only have to get used to other people. They haven’t had it easy before coming here, after all”, she said.
But Scott wouldn’t take that as an answer. He still had bruises from the first time he had met you. Although he knew it had been his fault for pushing your buttons, you still didn’t have to throw him across the room in front of the other XMen.
Jean stopped in her tracks and pressed a finger to her lips, then opened the door to Peter’s room. Scott peeked inside. His mouth dropped.
There you were, Peter and you cuddled to each other, both sleeping peacefully.
Jean smirked, “I told you.” He glanced up in annoyance. “Let’s let them sleep. The Professor will understand.”

Hello!
So I just realised about 300+ people decided to follow me and, I suppose, read my stories? And 300 is such a small number but to me it's surreal that so many of you want to read what I write!
So I thought I'd introduce myself a little, just to be polite you know, and be like those author blurbs they put on the inside flap of books. So read on if you want to know more about me and my writing, or just keep scrolling if you'd rather I remain a redheaded mystery with a thing for Frankie Morales.
Also, chapter 16 of The Pilot and his Girl will be posted tomorrow, it just needs another round of editing.
Also, again, this got long, so if you can't be bothered reading all my ramblings below the cut, I totally understand. I have a habit of getting wordy....
So, I'm in my 40's and I've been writing for most of my life, starting with embarrassing little short stories in adorable misspelled fashion when I was just wee. I aspired to be a journalist and then went on a completely different tangent career wise, ending up with a PhD in an area I no longer work in (fifteen years of higher education never to be touched again but you definitely want me on your team in a pub quiz!). I have vague memories of writing fan fiction in my early 20, I think? (I'm old, give me a break). But I only got back to it late last year as a way to kick start my imagination and discipline around writing again. I needed a creative outlet and writing is something I always enjoyed and found easy to do.
I live in England, in the amazing but fucking expensive city of London. I look pretty much like my profile picture, only more wrinkles and maybe a bit of silver in all that gingerness. I'm a very good cook and baker (Pedro, I'll teach you how to cook any day!) and I'm married to my very own sweet Latino man. He's not called Frankie but he does call me cariño. I have big chunk of family in Sweden and I speak a little bit of Swedish (it's actually where I am right now, we're over here celebrating midsummer).
I started writing fanfics for The Boys fandom and Karl Urban as I was binging the whole show after finishing season 4. Then I stumbled into the Pedro Pascal fandom as I watched The Last of Us.
TLoU has a very special place in my heart. I've been gaming since my early teens and bought a Playstation 3 after saving for months, my first console after playing on PC for years. When TLoU came out in 2013 I bought and played it straight away and I, like so many others, had an experience playing it. It's the only story, in any medium, that's made me cry after just 10-15 minutes of game play. The scene were Sarah dies, still gets me every time. And the rest of the game...I turned up at work the next week in a daze, just needing to tell people about this incredible story and experience I'd had. It was like no other game I'd ever played, before or since. And I've replayed the game about once a year since 2013. Back then, that kind of game was totally unique, there was nothing like it. Some games had explored stronger story telling elements, but not on this level, nothing came even close to creating such a bond between gamer and characters. Now days we're spoiled by powerful storytelling in video games, in 2013, The Last of Us was totally unique (sorry, I'm blabbering, but I could go on at length about TLoU and the impact it had).
So when I heard there was talks about turning into a tv-series, I was scared. Really worried. The gaming community have seen so many horrendous adaptations of video games, my beloved Assassin's Creed was butchered in 2016. But then I heard Pedro Pascal had been cast as Joel and I was carefully hopeful, and then Bella Ramsey as Ellie and I got really excited. I'd seen them both in Game of Thrones, both of their performances sticking in my mind. I even remember reading about Pedro being cast in GoT and looking him up and being disappointed because he looked nothing like I'd pictured the Red Viper when I read the books. But then he just swanned in and crushed it, he was so damn good, he won me over straight away. I can't imagine anyone else playing Oberyn.
And then of course, the first few trailers of TLoU dropped and we got glimpses of the show and I remember texting my equally TLoU obsessed friend and we squealed in delight at how good it looked! And the first time I heard the clicker sound....I shuddered, it was a very real physical reaction. If I'd been on the actual set and heard it, I think I would've run a mile.
And then, as I was still writing The British Connection, a fic set in The Boys fandom, I watched Triple Frontier, and, like so many others, fell hard for sweet Frankie Morales. So jumping the gun a bit, I decided to write something with him, just a drabble, to get used to writing him and to write in the Reader insert format. But it kind a grew in scope and when I had the idea of sticking him and the rest of the Triple Frontier boys into TLoU universe I knew I had to create something bigger.
Looking back I would've made the story tighter, less lengthy, had I known from the start that's where it was going to go. But part of the fun of fan fiction is posting as you go, I think. I get feedback from you guys and it makes me think of other elements to add to the story. There isn't always a set road map for how a fic is going to develop.
If you've made it this far, congratulations and thank you, I'm impressed you read all that rambling from some stranger on Tumblr! The Pilot and his Girl has a set plan now, I have chapters drawn up and although I'm not sure how many chapters I'm going to end up with, I know where the story is going. You'll find out what's happened to Pope, Will and Benny. And Joel and Tommy will of course come back to the story later on. There will be more trauma and angst as the story continues but there will be a happy ending, of sorts, in the end.
And again, thank you all for reading, commenting and reblogging! I love you all!

Good greetings, one and all! After 6 years and almost a dozen weekly updates for my patrons to keep me going, my newest masterpiece is finally complete!
So, there's quite the story behind this class. When I first got into this whole homebrewing thing, I was pretty new to 5th edition, maybe only a couple one-shots under my belt. But when a buddy of mine asked me to join a campaign he was gonna start, I thought it would be just the best idea to homebrew a class to play for my first major character.
The class in question was a tinker, and inventor of things and wielder of all kinds of steampunk-y gadgets. I came to the table with a basic overview and the first few levels written out, and things were going great. I was having fun with it as I tinkered with the class and developed it further as we played, a bit like a certain claymation dog and a model train set. That was April of 2016.
But then things started to go wrong. As someone with ADHD, a wild imagination, and, at the time, boundless creative energy, I was making massive sweeping changes every couple months because I was constantly changing my mind as to what I wanted the class to be, always coming up with new ideas I wanted to experiment with instead of sticking with what I had. Months turned to years, and I soon realized that my beloved Tinker was stuck in the dreaded Development Hell.
BUT NO MORE! Thanks to a new regiment of making weekly updates for my patrons to keep me making consistent progress, I've finally finished this damnable project. I can't even begin to describe how pleased I am with the final result, and it's so surreal to finally see what was basically my first ever 5e homebrew completed after all these years. And I have you all to thank for it. Were it not for the Foundry and you all who have supported me through all it's ups and downs, I honestly don't thing I ever would have finished it. So thank you, stay safe, and don't forget to love each other.

Every Epic Rap Battle of History Ranked, Part 2
Part 1
57. Genghis Khan vs Easter Bunny
Tumblr media
Winner: Easter Bunny
Best line: "The Great Wall couldn't keep you out of China. Watch me rub my foot for luck and stick it right up your vagina!"
Okay, okay, this is probably higher than it has any right to be, but damn it, I just love this pairing. You have a historical warlord famous for his brutality battling with a peaceful holiday icon for kids and I think the contrast is hilarious. It's nothing spectacular, but this has to be my favorite of season 1's "two completely random characters with no relation" battles.
56. Wonder Woman vs Stevie Wonder
Tumblr media
Winner: Wonder Woman
Best line: "My rhymes are signed, sealed, and delivered on time. You're a bald has-been, I'm in my Amazon Prime!"
While I was always aware of Stevie Wonder's music, this battle actually made me look into it and appreciate it more. I love the touch of how Stevie's music style in this is a mix of his own as well as that of his actor, T-Pain. Also the quote above might just be one of my favorite lines in ERB history - I LOVE when a line can manage to mix in wordplay that relates to both rappers. Mwah, chef's kiss.
55. Master Chief vs Leonidas
Tumblr media
Winner: Master Chief
Best line: "300 asses need a kickin'. Give more teebags than Lipton."
We're in the section of the list of good battles with nothing to really complain about, but also with nothing spectacular so there's not really much to say. I'm not a Halo guy so some of the references went over my head - I didn't get "You're the solider they need you to be" until looking it up just now, and yeah, that's a pretty funny line that I didn't appreciate when I was younger. It was also a good call to have Lloyd still be the voice of Leonidas but cast an actual muscular man to be the body actor; we definitely didn't need another Hulk Hogan muscle suit situation.
54. Goku vs Superman
Tumblr media
Winner: Goku
Best line: "There's only one way that this battle's gonna end: One more Superman who's never gonna walk again."
Ray William Johnson was a great casting choice for Goku; he brings a lively and memorable performance to the show. Although I didn't think Goku was quite so angry? Idk, I'm also not a Dragon Ball guy (forgive me for being such an uncultured swine and not knowing a lot of these series). Lloyd's Superman is pretty basic by comparison; it gets the job done, but it's like Sinatra vs Mercury where it gets overshadowed hard by the other performer.
53. Barack Obama vs Mitt Romney
Tumblr media
Winner: Mitt Romney
Best line: "Republicans need a puppet and you fit. Got their hand so far up your rear, call you Mitt."
Man, remember when we thought Mitt Romney was the worst the Republican party could throw at us? Simpler times, man. Simpler times. This battle is the most-viewed in ERB history, which I think is kinda weird since I feel like people were way more into the 2016 and 2020 elections overall. But this was also the first election battle, and when ERB was still a relatively new series, so maybe it was the novelty of it at the time. Or maybe because Obama and Romney were both more well-liked than Trump, Clinton, and Biden. I dunno, I'm getting off-track here.
I thought for years that this battle was pretty well-balanced in terms of not showing favoritism to one side, though I thought Romney's line "I'm not gonna let this battle be dictated by facts" was a pretty biased writing choice. But it turns out that that's almost a direct quote from Romney himself, so uhh. I also love how both opponents break down into slinging childish insults at each other by the end, it really goes to show that it's not glorifying either candidate. And that's proven true by the iconic scene of Abe Lincoln coming down and bitchslapping them both. Classic.
The real Obama is known to have seen this battle too and apparently liked it given that he invited Peter and the actor who played Obama here to the White House, so that's neat.
52. John Wick vs John Rambo vs John McClane
Tumblr media
Winner: John McClane
Best line: "And lighten up, Wick, with your brooding saga. How 'bout a little hakuna matata, Baba Yaga?"
This is the first and so far only battle that's a three-way fight from the start, so that really ensures that all three characters are given ample time to all diss each other. I like it! The highlight here is definitely Lloyd's McClane, he's a delight to watch, and he perfectly captures how McClane is the lighthearted everyman of the group. Zach's John Wick is no slouch either, capturing the cool seriousness of the character. Where this battle falls flat though, and the only reason it's not in A, is Peter's Rambo. It's trying to be funny and it's just… not really funny. It's the kind of Sylvester Stallone impression that would get a chuckle out of you if your high school friend did it in the halls, but it just feels out of place in a professional production like this.
I love the subtle ways the backing track changes between characters too, with McClane getting some sleigh bells added in for his part, Wick getting a deep synth noise, and Rambo getting some somber strings. Really nice stuff.
51. Artists vs TMNT
Tumblr media
Winner: TMNT
Best line: "Uh, Dona-tell me who you are again, dude, 'Cause I don't Gattamelata clue what you do."
My only complaint about this battle is that it's just too damn short. This would be a pretty short battle even by 1-on-1 standards, but when you have 8 separate characters, each one barely gets anything to say. But what's here is great. Rhett and Link and Smosh is a good pairing that gives a lot of energy to the artists, and the turtle suit that the team managed to make for the TMNT is great. When the only negative I can think of for a battle is that I wish there was more of it, you know it's a good battle.
A TIER
50. George Carlin vs Richard Pryor
Tumblr media
Winner: Joan Rivers
Best line: "Now there's seven words you can't say on a TV set. But this is the pissin' fuckin' cuntin' internet!"
I'm realizing now how much work this entire thing is given how much I've written so far and we're only just now cracking the top 50. Still not even halfway there, damn. But anyway, this is a great tribute to a whole bunch of legendary comedians. It's a whole lot of fun to watch, and every performer captures the larger-than-life personalities on display. Lloyd's Robin Williams is a particular highlight. The only downside is Bill Cosby's part, it's not really funny and kinda just kills the pace. But it's thankfully short so it's not enough to ruin it.
49. Mario Bros vs Wright Bros
Tumblr media
Winner: Wright Bros
Best line: "You might fly like a hawk, but you fight like a kitty!"
This was the first guest appearance of Rhett and Link and also the first 2-on-2 battle, and I think it does a really good job. Mario and Luigi are played absolutely nothing like their actual characters, but it's so far off that it's honestly hilarious.
48. David Copperfield vs Harry Houdini
Tumblr media
Winner: David Copperfield
Best line: "My grand illusions make your parlor tricks irrelevant. The foot of Lady Liberty is stomping on your elephant."
Now THIS is a magician vs magician battle that actually lives up to the idea visually, eat your heart out, Gandalf vs Dumbledore. While Houdini is definitely the more interesting person to watch in this battle with all of the stunts he performs while rapping, I can't help but like Peter's silky smooth Copperfield voice, it's gotta be one of my favorite voices he's done.
47. Eastern Philosophers vs Western Philosophers
Tumblr media
Winner: Eastern Philosophers
Best line: "You tried to plant a new German psyche, but you just grew hate, me no Third Reichy!"
This is a very smartly-written battle, as it should be given the subject matter. Every philosopher gets a chance to sum up what they're all about, and the contrasts work perfectly - Lao Tzu's philosophy of letting life take you through its natural course vs Nietzsche saying you need to take control and fight for the life you want, and Confucius's teaching of respecting authority vs Voltaire's challenging of authority. …Socrates vs Sun Tzu doesn't really have a direct contrast like that, but hey, that's okay. You can tell a lot of research went into this one, and it's really worth looking into the meanings of the lyrics because some of it will definitely go over your head if you're not super into philosophy.
46. Blackbeard vs Al Capone
Tumblr media
Winner: Al Capone
Best line: "You spent time in Alcatraz, I'm sure you were fine, if you dropped the soap as little as you drop dope rhymes."
Both Peter and Lloyd were clearly having fun with this one, they're both in their element when they're playing characters with big personalities and fun voices to imitate. The lyrics are great and dense too; this was the first battle of season 3 besides Vader vs Hitler 3, and I think season 3 is really when the series started hitting its stride with rappers' verses becoming longer and more packed with deeper meanings.
I only have two minor criticisms with this battle - first, Blackbeard's beard looks way too nice and clean, and it's especially apparent when Capone has a line about how dirty it is. Second, this video was sponsored by Assassin's Creed IV, which is all well and good, but forcing in a line about Edward Kenway and having him physically appear in the background really destroys my suspension of disbelief and dates the video hardcore. But neither of these things are enough to ruin an otherwise very good battle.
45. Rick Grimes vs Walter White
Tumblr media
Winner: Walter White
Best line: "Ask Gus, you don't wanna face off against me."
Okay, so, confession time: I have not watched either of the shows that are represented in this battle (Breaking Bad is on my to-watch list though). And oops, this vid's got a lot of spoilers for both series. Ah well. Despite not knowing a whole lot about either universe, I still think this battle is a lot of fun to watch. I particularly love the detail of a zombie crossing into Walt's side and getting distracted by meth - touches like that to tie the worlds of the two rappers together are always a treat.
44. Darth Vader vs Hitler
Tumblr media
Winner: Hitler
Best line: "You stink, Vader. Your style smells something sour. You need to wash up, dog. Here, step in my shower."
Here we go. While Lennon vs O'Reilly might have come first, I think we can all agree that this is the real start of ERB. This is what made the series into a viral sensation and it's not hard to see why. The novelty of seeing a historical figure battle his fictional equivalent in a rap battle of all things was something unseen up until that point, and it helps that the lyrics were incredibly clever to boot - in addition to the iconic quote above, who could forget "So many dudes been with your mom, who even knows if I'm your father". I'm sure Disney would like everyone to forget that the Stormtroopers were named after Hitler's troops, but this battle stands as an eternal reminder of that fact.
43. Mr. T vs Mr. Rogers
Tumblr media
Winner: Mr. Rogers
Best line: "I'll say this once, Laurence. I hope it's understood: Get right back in your van and get the fuck out of my neighborhood."
Peter's acting here is pretty similar to how he portrayed Bob Ross, but his portrayal of Mr. Rogers easily wins in my mind for how much more savage the insults are. Even though Rogers definitely steals the show here, Mr. T also manages to be very entertaining. It's hilarious how he's screaming at Rogers the whole time while Rogers consistently keeps his cool while hurling passive-aggressive lines.
Also, whew! We're officially halfway done with this list!
42. Jacques Cousteau vs Steve Irwin
Tumblr media
Winner: Steve Irwin
Best line: "I'm a wild man, you're a subdued sub dude. The only crocs you could handle are some slip-on shoes!"
This battle's an interesting role reversal - usually it's Lloyd portraying the grumpy character and Peter portraying the lively one. But it goes to show that the two of them have the acting chops to go either way. Especially Lloyd, he's really entertaining when he can let his silliness out. I love how in the part where Steve is pointing to Jacques and talking about him like he's a wild animal, you can tell Peter is holding in laughter.
41. Tony Hawk vs Wayne Gretzky
Tumblr media
Winner: Wayne Gretzky
Best line: "You and I have so many world records between us. 184, that's plenty of 'em… and I set 183 of 'em!"
This is a very slept-on battle, being the lowest-viewed of any of the pre-hiatus battles (though 18 million views still certainly ain't bad). I still remember my first time watching this battle as someone who didn't really know anything about Wayne Gretzky aside from "he was a hockey player", my jaw fucking dropped at that world records line. Absolutely killer setup and execution.
40. Jack the Ripper vs Hannibal Lecter
Tumblr media
Winner: Hannibal Lecter
Best line: "I don't mind that you're naughty, Jack. I hate that you're sloppy."
I can't imagine that this one was particularly easy to write for given the very little we know about Jack the Ripper. I was gonna say, "Oh this battle was made before we knew his true identity", but apparently it's still not really agreed upon who he really was and the mystery gets "solved" again and again every few years. Anyway, Lloyd is great as Hannibal, his faces and mannerisms are perfect, and Dan Bull provides an interesting interpretation of the type of person Jack may have been. I love that Jack spends his entire first verse purely hyping himself up and Hannibal calls him out on being a narcissist, it's something that kinda shocks you as a viewer cause it's something you probably don't even notice on the first viewing, and you're also not expecting the video itself to point it out. It really sells the "Hannibal is one step ahead" kind of vibe.
39. Vlad the Impaler vs Count Dracula
Tumblr media
Winner: Vlad the Impaler
Best line: "Imagine forests of corpses dripping on a buffet. You call that a nightmare? I call that a Tuesday."
Vlad the Impaler is probably the single most cold, brutal character ERB has ever had, and Lloyd gets some truly bone-chilling line deliveries in as him. Peter's Dracula is great too, the whole thing of a killer with class being disgusted by a killer who's just trying to be vicious actually makes it quite similar to Jack the Ripper vs Hannibal now that I think about it.
38. Babe Ruth vs Lance Armstrong
Tumblr media
Winner: Babe Ruth
Best line: "So c'mon, little buddy, don't look so pissed. With all that blood and attitude, you're like a menstrual cyclist."
Like Hawk vs Gretzky, this is another athlete vs athlete video, and you'd expect the odds to immediately be stacked against Armstrong by virtue of the fact that you have a known cheater going up against an athlete with integrity. But Armstrong actually manages to put up a damn good rebuttal, taking shots at Ruth's personal life instead. I still think Ruth won, but both rappers actually manage to knock it out of the park, pun entirely intended.
Also unrelated to the battle itself but I've always thought the face Lloyd makes in the thumbnail of this one makes him look like James Rolfe.
Tumblr media
37. James Bond vs Austin Powers
Tumblr media
Winner: James Bond (modern)
Best line: "After 24 films, I'm still reaching new heights. Your third movie died, guess you only live twice."
I've always kinda wondered why Peter was cast as Austin Powers in this, I think Lloyd looks a lot more like Mike Myers. I guess they didn't want to have a battle where Peter is completely excluded while Lloyd gets to play two characters. That being said, Peter does nail the Austin Powers impression, so it's all good. This battle's a really cool concept, a character rapping against their own parody version, and then an earlier version of the character comes in and disses on their modern version. The battle does basically cease to be about Austin Powers at that point, but I think it works because neither version of Bond considers him a serious opponent.
This battle is loaded with great lines too - in addition to the quote above, we also have "I'm licensed to kill, you couldn't get a learner's permit", "Spell my name, all the ladies wanna B on D, any sex appeal you might have is beyond me", "I only need one round, golden gun", and "I don't need a Q to break your balls". Brilliantly clever writing.
I will say that the background effects for modern Bond, while they definitely do look cool, are a bit too much to the point of being distracting. Maybe it was a deliberate choice to contrast with classic Bond though, as a way to convey that the modern Bond films are a lot more about flashy spectacle than the more grounded stories the early films had, I dunno.
36. Mozart vs Skrillex
Tumblr media
Winner: Skrillex
Best line: "I attack, you decay, can't sustain my releases! Sidechain, Wolfgang! Bangarang you to pieces!"
This battle is everything that Bieber vs Beethoven should have been - a battle between a modern musician and a classical one that actually gives the modern one a fighting chance. Plus it actually changes the background music to match the style of whoever's rapping! This battle is great, no real notes here. Mozart's line about "in two more months the world will forget about your Skrill-excrement" has aged pretty well too given how Skrillex's star has definitely faded since this video's release.
This battle is also notable for being the only one where a real person that was portrayed in an ERB has actually performed it themselves! Skrillex, obviously, not Mozart. The real Skrillex actually came out as a surprise guest appearance in a live performance of the song and helped Lloyd finish it out. I admit, I didn't really know what Skrillex actually looked like, but seeing him side-by-side with Lloyd in costume, yeah, the team nailed his look.
Tumblr media
35. Ragnar Lodbrok vs Richard the Lionheart
Tumblr media
Winner: Ragnar Lodbrok
Best line: "Your son killed your ex, your ex killed your wife. I'm the Lion King, man, but that's a messed-up circle of life."
This is what I love about ERB, man. I had never even heard of either of these historical figures before this battle, but I watched it, loved the song, got curious what all the lyrics meant, did research on both men, and then went back and rewatched the video with the new knowledge to catch all the references. ERB is truly at its best when it's making learning fun.
Interestingly, the reason this battle was even made in the first place was because the mobile game that sponsored it reached out to Peter and Lloyd and asked if they would make a battle between two of the historical figures in their game in exchange for the sponsorship. Given that the battle was effectively made as an ad for a mobile game, it's shocking how good it turned out. You'd really never know that's how it came to be just looking at the end product.
34. Darth Vader vs Hitler 2
Tumblr media
Winner: Darth Vader
Best line: "Roar like Chewbacca, the voice of Mufasa, I'm on the leader of your limp-dicked Luftwaffe!"
And here we go, the second of the Vader vs Hitler trilogy is easily the best one. I feel like it struck the perfect balance - it was bigger and more epic than the first while not feeling fatigued on the idea like the third. Season 2 kicked off with this and you could immediately tell the jump in production quality from season 1. This video had an intro and everything, continuing off from Hitler being frozen in carbonite from the first battle. It's great, what else can I say?
33. Cleopatra vs Marilyn Monroe
Tumblr media
Winner: Marilyn Monroe
Best line: "You still got no children after your third marriage. You lost so many babies, we should call you Miss Carriage!"
This was the first battle where neither Peter nor Lloyd play one of the rappers, even though it is not the first female-on-female battle (but we don't talk about Gaga vs Palin). But both performers do a stellar job; I love how Marilyn's demeanor goes from the giggling flirtiness we know her for to becoming increasingly pissed off and hysterical as Cleopatra hurls more and more insults at her (Marilyn's "Translate this into hieroglyphs: Your sandy vagina has a seven-year itch" would have won best line were it not for the sheer brutality of the Miss Carriage line). And getting a professional dancer to portray Cleopatra was a great choice; she's still one of the most visually interesting rappers to have ever been on the series. And no, I don't just mean that in an ogling way.
Also, I think this is the only battle where the same person starts it and closes it out? Which does lead to Cleopatra feeling like she doesn't get as much screen time, but it's certainly not a dealbreaker.
32. Moses vs Santa Claus
Tumblr media
Winner: Moses
Best line: "It takes nine reindeers to haul your fat ass. You took the Christ out of Christmas and just added more mass."
This battle was definitely meant to be a stand-in for Jesus vs Santa; that was the matchup we all really wanted to see. But someone somewhere must have gotten cold feet about dissing a figure that millions worship, so Jesus got swapped out for someone Jesus-adjacent. Hey, I'm a Christian, and I know I still would have found a Jesus rap battle hilarious.
But whatever, even though it's not exactly what we wanted, what we did get was still great. The fact that they actually managed to get motherfucking Snoop Dogg as a guest star because he happened to be using the same studio as ERB at the time still blows my mind; I don't think any guest star is ever gonna top that. And they certainly had some fun with having him on board - I love that they managed to make jokes referencing him while still being appropriate for Moses, like "smoking all that burning bush", or "so much drama in the IsraeL B.C.". This is a battle that just always puts a smile on my face.
31. Nikola Tesla vs Thomas Edison
Tumblr media
Winner: Nikola Tesla
Best line: "I don't alternate my flow, I diss you directly!"
I love how this battle really leans into how we now perceive Tesla and Edison, with Tesla being a hero for the people and Edison as the greedy villain who kept him down. Good stuff. Don't really have a whole lot to say about this one, it's just a good battle with two very memorable personalities, and Peter's Tesla voice is very pleasant to listen to. And of course, the electric synth in the background track was a must.
30. JRR Tolkien vs George RR Martin
Tumblr media
Winner: George RR Martin
Best line: "All your bad guys die and your good guys survive. We can tell what's gonna happen by page and age five!"
All right, so, I ain't the most well-versed in the fantasy genre, but I still really like this one. The underlying argument between the two men here is something I've seen time and time again on the internet - "happy endings are boring and predictable" versus "eschewing happy endings just for the sake of it isn't automatically good". It makes for good battle fodder. Also I just love Lloyd's performance here - it's so loud and boisterous, and his "No he didn't!" is A+.
Okay folks, click here for the third and final part as we rank the best of the best!

Your blog just keeps turning into the place to discuss the discourse of the week lol. To make this an actual ask, how many books do you read? I've personally found my actual book reading dropped off after starting to read fanfiction do you feel the same or?
--
I have experienced that, but it hasn't been uniformly true in recent years.
Up through high school, I read regular big publisher fiction voraciously. I read many different genres and a lot of books that weren't entirely my thing. Whatever was handy, I read. We're talking the 90s here, so while I lived near a ton of amazing independent bookstores, it wasn't yet a time when you could find literally anything.
In college, my pleasure reading dropped off considerably, especially my reading of fiction. After college, I didn't pick it up again, at least not to the same degree and not for a while. My mother once described the same process in her own life. I think it's common.
I started reading fic at 13 in 1994, so no, my fiction reading did not drop off at once.
Since that time, my fic reading has waxed and waned, usually in relation to whether I'm in any fandoms big enough to have a steady supply of fic. I don't tend to be able to stick to big fandoms for more than 6 months or so (BTS being an exception), and I seldom reread fic, so I don't always have anything to read.
In 2016, I suddenly discovered the world of "m/m romance", which is a niche that tends to be indiepub and selfpub, very fic-like, and primarily produced and consumed by AFABs. My favorite thing is casefic with first time ship, so novel-length m/m genre fiction with plots was catnip. I'm not as into the contemporary romances or series romance (in the 1 ship/book industry sense), but I fucking love the series urban fantasy mysteries +/- historical.
I spent that year reading through the backlog of famous m/m romance authors and read very little else. But, eventually, I ran out of obvious things from recs lists and got distracted by fandom again. Just lately, I've mostly been reading BTS fic when I've read fiction.
Throughout all of this, even in college to some degree, I've read stacks of nonfiction. I do tend to read on subjects I'm specifically researching now rather than just picking up any book that's sitting around.
--
Basically, I think there is a common experience where bookworms read everything when young but eventually figure out what they like most and stop reading things they don't really care about just because they're there.
Many people who like m/m on AO3 don't know about m/m romance ebooks or translations of danmei novels or scanlations of BL manga or whatever. For them, AO3 is the primary and best source of this type of content. It's only natural that regular books start to look less appealing. Why waste time on something kind of okay when there's something you love right there?
Some people will say that it's all about the familiar characters giving you an easy entry point, and for some people, I'm sure that's true, but I think plenty of people would stop only reading fic if they could reliably and easily find original work that actually caters to them.
--
To answer your specific question, at any given point in time, I probably have two or three long nonfiction books I'm in the middle of reading, but finishing could take months since these tend to be reference books and weighty academic tomes.

okay just because i really like dates/timelines (hashtag history major) can you Please tell me all the birthdays / ages of everyone in the movies? also any other timeline funfacts/details you wanna include. idk what that would be but that’s just the subject of this post, go ham 🫶
oh absolutely >:)
okay so the first movie starts on May 22nd, 2007 and ends on the 26th. May 21st is the night Giselle dreamt about Robert, she meets Edward the 22nd, meets Robert the 23rd, spends the 24th with him, they attend the ball on the 25th, and kiss on the 26th.
there's nothing I love more than knowing canon dates and I am very Very thankful to whoever randomly decided May 25th would be the day of the ball.
and then Disenchanted takes place 10 years later.
and now, my headcanons !!
For character ages, Robert is 30, and his birthday is September 5th, 1976. The scripts I have are a bit vague with everyone's age, and he's described as "late 20s" in one and "early 30s" in another, so I just stuck him at 30.
Giselle's is even more vague, with her descriptions just being "fair maiden" however in one copy, Robert says that she "looks 23" but he's unsure. I personally put her at 26, with her birthday being February 28th, 1981.
Morgan we know is 6, and I headcanon that her birthday is September 10th, 2000. Her and Robert having birthdays five days apart is inspired by my dad and I (ours are Sept. 6th and the 11th!) because their relationship reminds me of us :p
Sofia we know is a year old, and I have tried so hard to look at background details that might tell me when Disenchanted takes place (at least what month) but none of the event flyers say anything. Nancy says "we missed her birthday last month", so I've just decided it takes place in March, because I headcanon Sofia was born February 12th, 2016.
I can only hope no details come out about when it canonically takes place now because I love Sofia's birthday being right before Valentine's Day and headcanon that, before she had a name, Giselle would always call her "my little Valentine" and it is whyyyy her middle name is Valentine 🤧
and I don't have as many details for them, but I do headcanon Nancy was 32 in Enchanted, and Edward was 28. I liked the idea of Nancy being the oldest for some reason, idk why. I haven't given them birthdays, but I feel like Edward's probably a Leo.
Oh, and another fun canon detail is, according to the credits, Morgan is 8 years old in the flashbacks that play during Love Power. Because of that, I headcanon Robert and Giselle got married May 25th, 2009, with Morgan turning 9 later that year.
also, sticking with canon and timelines, Disenchanted takes place over the course of five days, or four depending on how you view the wish, I guess. cause I've seen some people say the wish reset the fourth day, but when I watched it, I assumed the day still happened, but no one remembered, so it was still technically the next calendar day? But I suppose the day could've just reset too, idk.
anyway !! ahhhhh thank you for letting me talk about this there's truly nothing I love more than 1) breaking down/figuring out movie timelines and 2) giving characters birthdays/ages 💖💖💖

Meet the Creators - iamcharlotte88
What username(s) and platform(s) can folx find you on? (Please include links!)
@iamcharlotte88 is on Instagram and Deviant Art
(Fun Fact) What is your favorite kind of potato?
I like Spicy Mojos
How long have you been creating works in fandom spaces? How long have you been active in the SM fandom?
I have been creating Sailor Moon arts since 2000 but my first post in the internet is around 2016 or 2017
What type(s) of creative works do you usually make? (fanfics, digital art, cosplay)
I do arts from random things that inspires me mostly from movie scene or fanfiction. I started from traditional arts and transition to digital arts around 2020
What do you enjoy about creating for the SM fandom?
The process of turning the artistic words or ideas into visuals arts. When I read fanfiction, there is image of the scene in my head that feels like I am watching a movie and when I translate it to a visual arts, there is this feeling of satisfaction and being somehow involve in the creation of that story.
Are you strictly UsaMamo or do you create for other pairings as well?
I do other couples as well like the senshi and shintennou. But I have never tried pairing Usagi or Mamoru to other characters. Those two literally fought in the spam of 3 life times to stay together. I just can't imagine them with someone else.
What inspires you to create works for Usagi and Mamoru?
I really love Mamoru like he is a real person and I like to create art that shows how Usagi loves Mamoru or how Mamoru show affection to Usagi in his own way when there is just the 2 of them. If you have time please check out my art called "Staying the Night"
Do you tend to work on multiple projects (WIPs) simultaneously or try to finish one at a time?
I do projects one at a time and I tend to work on it non stop because I tend not to finish an art if i don't finish it on one sitting.. 😅😅😅
Do you prefer large projects (chaptered fics, webtoons/zines, highly detailed art) or small projects (one-shots or simple art)?
I actually wanted to try fics and/or webtoon. I just do not have the time because of my full time job and also being the full time care giver to my sickly mother so I stick to oneshots and simple arts.
Are there any common themes, situations, tropes, or mediums in your work?
I do not think I have a specific theme or genre in creating art. But I tend to specifically draw multiple arts about the SM fanfic I'm into in that specific moment. So if I make an art or couple of arts that inspired by a certain fanfic, it means I really love it and they are being my inspiration.
Is there anything you haven’t explored artistically and would like to try?
I would love to explore or learn more about motion picture.

My dream rn is to be to Sherdoc what you are to Sargemore
How did you get here
Like, other than the obvious, if you had to take your most comedic guess at how you got here, what would you say
i sold my soul to the devil so then i could have internet fame by writing sarge/fillmore fanfic. slash jay.
anyway, since i have a tendency to ramble, i’ll put a serious answer under the cut. i’m going to call this G’s Path to Accidental Internet Success.
1. i joined the fandom in 2016, when i was 14. as such, i bothered literally EVERYONE and tried to make as many friends as i could. i ended up with a pretty solid group of mutuals (most—if not all— of which are now deactivated. rip.) .
2. start asking for writing requests. the stuff i started out with was always in the 50-300 words ballpark (like drabbles). the main key here is to (a) have Exactly One Thing you write about (aka sargemore), and a handful of people that are willing to engage with you on that.
some cars fandom history for you: around this time (2018-ish), we had this anon “spam” (i hate to call them that, because we are now good friends) who would send many, many, many asks into my inbox about sarge and potatoes. i was able to turn some of their asks into legitimate oneshots, or take them a little farther than they likely expected. (see: wishes, as the sun sets, or anything else i posted in the summer of 2018). i guess what you can take away from this is that ANYTHING can be turned into writing if you are deranged enough.
it was also around this time that i bought the sargemore backstory comic off of ebay, and then spent an INCREDIBLE amount of time immersing myself in sixties history to write the third blink. i started posting that in june of 2019, and it went through the beginning of january of 2021 (covid fucked up my schedule). in that time, the fic gained a pretty decent following, a lot of whom usually still turns up for anything that i post on ao3.
so, number 3: if you put a lot of passion and time and effort into your work, people will notice! if you construct a good narrative arc for your characters, and do things that people aren’t expecting, they’ll stick around. a consistent posting schedule always helps too; think of it as tuning in to your favorite television show once a week, back in the old days of cable. i know i’m not one to talk about that (we all know i haven’t posted in like six months… yikes), but i’m telling you. it helps.
4. never shut the hell up about what you’re writing. i mean, seriously. you see the shit that i post about my AU. be obnoxious. have fun. start a discussion about your characters, or the narrative. in my case, i do this easily by creating a historical discussion through the use of sarge/fillmore as figures analogous to different political beliefs.
(actually. my ploy all along was to educate you guys. i can’t tell you how many comments i’ve gotten that are people saying “i wasn’t expecting to LEARN anything from a cars fanfic, but….”)
i think that’s all. i hate to say that a great deal of this is circumstantial, because i started in a height of the fandom in 2017, and the Potato Anon summer gave me a lot to work with, and i’ve been doing the same kind of thing for almost seven years now. but i think that you could still swing it. there’s enough people in the fandom that you could definitely attract the audience you want for your writing. i’ll be proud to be a part of it!
TLDR: have friends that want to engage with your writing, stay (mostly) consistent, and create a discussion about your “content.” and, most importantly— be passionate, be real, and HAVE FUN. none of this is worth it if you aren’t enjoying it.

Elemental (2023)
Tumblr media
The worst thing you can say about Elemental is that it isn’t as wildly original as some of Pixar’s other outings. Although the plot is set in a city of fire, water, earth and air "people", it’s not REALLY about this world of anthropomorphic elements and the story told is not all that dissimilar from Zootopia, among others. This doesn’t make Elemental any less gorgeous or unexpectedly romantic.
In Element City, the fiery Bernie (Ronnie del Carmen) and Cinder (Shila Ommi) own a convenience store they hope to pass to their daughter, Ember (Leah Lewis), after they retire. When a pipe in their basement bursts, a water element health inspector named Wade Ripple (Mamoudou Athie) files a report. Now, Ember has less than a week to figure out why the pipes in Firetown still contain water or the Fireplace will be shut down.
I hadn’t seen many trailers for Elemental and expected what we usually see from Pixar: comedies with some action and drama. Elemental is a romantic drama with a few elements of comedy sprinkled in. As I watched the film and saw Ember and Wade grow closer (the ultimate “opposites attract”), I wondered if the children in the audience would grow bored. None of them did. The screenplay by John Hoberg, KaLiktkel and Brenda Hsueh (director Peter Sohn also contributed to the story) strikes the perfect balance. There’s a little bit of danger to make the stakes feel real, visual gags that come from the characters designs, many emotional developments (there's a chance you'll cry) and a strong romance tying it all together. You know your lovey-lovey movie is doing something right when the audience is on the edge of their seat, waiting for that first kiss.
Elemental is also a story of immigrants making their place in a society full of people who are different from them. You can see why I compared it to Zootopia earlier. Like the 2016 film, this one makes its point/make you think without beating you over the head thanks to its fantasy elements. You can see why Ember and her family might be turned away from a botanical garden. They’re made of flames... but why wasn’t the building designed with their special needs in mind? Why are so many things in Element City inconvenient or even potentially deadly for them? If that doesn’t resonate with you - which would be hard; the film does an excellent job getting you to understand Ember - her story about living up to her parent’s expectations and wondering if their dreams are the same thing as hers will.
Pixar has always pushed the art of computer-generated animation forward. What’s particularly noteworthy about Elemental is that the fire people we see aren't simply emulating what real-life flames look like. The animators made the decision to give the film more personality by choosing to do their own thing when bringing Ember and her kin to life. Then there’s her match, Wade. He's a completely translucent character, which can't have been easy, but you'd never guess it. Elemental offers a lot in terms of the character designs and also in the various products sold in the shop, the posters and advertisements in the background, and the many, many puns found on billboards and signs. You can see a bunch of them during the end credits, along with a rather touching tribute at the very end, so I’d encourage you to stick around for that.
I recognize that Elemental is not as original as it could’ve been and doesn’t quite use the natural abilities of its characters as much as it could have to make them as different from regular people as you’d think anthropomorphic water would be from you and me. Despite this, I got swept away by the romance. I get the feeling this is the sort of movie you might not know you’ve been waiting for until you’ve sat down and watched it. (Theatrical version on the big screen, June 14, 2023)

any combo of these for the fic writers ask? ❤️👻🏷👓😎💛💌 (also, hope you're doing well!)
I think I’m doing probably so-so (though I was doing better before this disgrace of a website reloaded the tab when I was 95% finished answering this and I had to restart from scratch—I am salty). I dunno how long it’ll last, especially since it’s not simply a periodic downswing, but oh well. I think playing Neverwinter Nights (and fantasizing about if not always writing Hero/Tomi fic) might be helping though, or at any rate, it ain’t hurting.
Send me fanfic author questions!
❤️ What is your favorite line that you’ve written in a fic?
The reason it took me so long to answer this—at least, before this sorry excuse of a website decided to delete everything I’d written because apparently autosaving to drafts is a thing for every type of post except ask responses—was that I had to go back and reread all (well, almost all; some of them I’d rather like to pretend don’t exist and either A. I’m still undecided on whether to orphan or not, or B. I can’t orphan them because they’re part of a series) the fics on my account. Is it weird that my fics don’t really stick in my head that long? Even when I don’t all but block them out. Anyway, it might be…
He feels safe—god, he feels like home.
from Don’t Tell Me Where the Road Ends (MacGyver 2016, macdalton). It’s not anything fancy or eloquent or anything, but idk, I still like it.
Or maybe…
He watches with poorly concealed amusement as Chika seems to work his way through all five stages of grief and back in the span of about two seconds.
from The Shape of Soup (2.43, yunichika)
(Yeah, I had difficulty choosing, so the rest—and the rest of the questions—will be going under the cut for length vvv)
Or even…
Somewhere along the way, his admiration has turned from jealousy to want—from wanting to be him to just wanting him.
the line that birthed not to remain as just a wish (2.43, odaoki)
Or possibly, since I feel like I should have one that is imagery-type/more poetic/(would it be conceited to call it eloquent?)…
His whole body is alight with the fizz of cider close beneath the surface of his skin, overflowed from the cavity of his chest to spill down his limbs and climb up his throat, pooling and sparking in all the places that Mao touched him like senkou hanabi, like miniature fireworks all their own, the brightest of all where Mao's fingers are still tangled with his, and it's wonderful and overwhelming at once.
from candy-apple red (Girls Blue, kisaragi/mao)
👻 What is your wildest headcanon?
I don’t think I have any tbh? My headcanons all tend to be more the run-of-the-mill type and/or generally accepted fanon and/or stuff extrapolated from them being clearly ADHD and/or autistic. They’re small things, like Yuni liking spicy foods but being unable to handle sour stuff while Chika loves both, or Nao liking space but not particularly caring for sci-fi, even sci-fi that’s set in space. In fact, both of those I came up with while writing the fics they show up in lmao (Lemon Squash and 流星群, respectively. Though, technically, Chika liking lemons—with the sort-of implication that Yuni doesn’t—showed up in The Shape of Soup, but that was just lemons.)
🏷️ Is there a tag you like to search for when looking for fanfics to read?
I don’t think I’ve ever gone into a content tag outside of when I was trying to see how to do something while attempting to write smut. It’s never really worked out. Even when I think I’ve figured something out, it all flew out of my head as soon as I opened my own fic. At least I prefer writing non-smutty fics, or this would be a much bigger problem than it is lmao
No, usually what I’ll do is just go into a ship (or character) tag and filter out any tag I come across that I don’t want to read.
👓 What helps you focus when you write?
Music, though that’s also just a general thing. Typically I’ll just listen to whatever I’m already listening to (which for the past few years has mostly been the 2.43 OST), but if I’ve got a specific song or set of songs in mind for a fic, I’ll generally listen to that instead. Sometimes when I’m rewriting a canon scene or writing something that includes one, I’ll just leave the show playing in the background once I’m done with it. (That’s actually how one of my 2.43 rewatches happened lmao, though I guess it only half counts.)
Of course, sometimes my brain will focus on that instead…
Yeah, I haven’t figured out how to reliably hack my ADHD. Mostly I just hope I’ll slip into hyperfocus (and then hope I’ll manage to finish it while I am, but that only very, very rarely happens. Normally I’ll come out of my daze to find I’ve added like 1600 words and I’ve got no idea how to write the missing bits).
😎 What fics do you prefer on a scale of canon compliant to wildly original?
It depends on my mood tbh. Also how much I hate canon (though it can make for some delicious angst, depending on why I hate it). But most of my fics end up being canon compliant, or at least not canon uncompliant, so I guess when it comes to writing, it would be that? Though I do also accumulate my fair share of AUs (but then, most of those are Canon AUs of one sort or another…)
💛 What is the most impactful lesson you’ve learned about writing?
I’m not so sure I’ve learned anything, and certainly not anything impactful, except that I have zero idea how to describe emotions. That, and it’s obnoxious af when people use epithets for the POV character. I can’t believe I used to do that. It makes me what to crawl into a hole and die in shame. Like, what someone/something is referred to in the narrative is how your POV character thinks of them! Your MC can’t be “the other man”—he’s the man! Everyone else is “the other” in reference to him! (That’s probably also why I’ve gravitated more consistently toward referring to the POV character by their given name, though I’ll still use surnames sometimes—and not just when we never learned their given name.)
💌 Is there a favorite trope you like to write?
I tend to prefer writing Pre-Relationship/Feelings Realization/Getting Together/First Kiss stuff over Established Relationship stuff, but I’m not so sure any of those are tropes. Wait, what does count as a trope. Cuz I also love Fluff (particularly the sappy stuff—I’ve had several turn out way sappier than originally intended) and Angst and Hurt/Comfort about equally, but I feel like those are closer to genres than tropes…
Hmm, well, I do love Character x Their Significant Annoyance (A finds B annoying/frustrating/exasperating/baffling/etc. but is still inexplicably fond of them anyway), and I feel like a lot of the fics I’ve written are for pairings with that dynamic, so let’s just go with that, shall we?
I’m also a sucker for tropes in the Fake Dating to Real Dating/Didn’t Realize They Were Dating/Practice Kissing area, though I haven’t finished very many of those, and I also love Crossdressing (particularly sticking unfeminine men in women’s clothing and/or guys just casually wearing women’s clothes), but I haven’t finished any of those, either. Granted, some of those involve smut, which could explain it, but it’s not like all of them do. Half or less.
Plus there’s The Italicized Oh, and I love sticking those sorts of moments into my pre-relationship fics, even if there is no actual italicized “oh.” Just—the yearning. I’m an absolute sucker.

Day 11: Melancholy
Characters: Troll Doomguy (Slayer), and VEGA
The Slayer and VEGA adjust to living in the Fortress, and the Slayer finds a photo that is both familiar and foreign to him. This story takes place after the events of 2016 and before Eternal.
The Fortress was a welcome sight to the Slayer it’s dusty walls reminded him of his better days on Argent D’Nur. Hopefully the Fortress was still operational. If it weren’t then he’d have quite the problem on his hands.
As he approached the bridge the Slayer gingerly fished out a small usb stick from his pack. The delicate cargo was barely the size of one of his claws.
It still amazed him how so much data was stored on it, at least he hoped so. He had only found four Argent batteries on his way to the Fortress, he wasn’t sure if they’d be enough. The Slayer plugged the batteries in and the Fortress whirred to life.
All that was left to do was plug the USB in and hope.
————————————————————————
Several days had passed since VEGA was uploaded onto the Fortress. He seemed to be doing well, and both were quite surprised to find that the Fortress was more than capable of housing him.
The Slayer was sat on a crate in what he decided to be his workshop. He was taking off the Praetor suit for the first time in what must have been months.
Most of its functions were inoperable from the assault the demons had launched when he made his escape from hell.
His holograms were completely destroyed and couldn’t be repaired. He didn’t mind though, he didn’t use them all that often.
He was working on dismantling one of his gloves to remove the mechanisms that operated the holograms. Maybe he could reuse some of the parts for other things-
Snap
Or maybe not.
The Slayer heard an unseen device snap as he tried to remove a panel from the gauntlet. The Slayer dropped the gauntlet on the desk and sighed in frustration.
“Is everything alright Slayer?” A voice called from his helmet.
It was VEGA. The cameras were still down so VEGA couldn’t see anything, but the camera on his helmet was still working.
He turned the helmet towards him before slowly signing out,
“Broke something in glove”
VEGA was teaching him how to use sign language because a good chunk of the screens didn’t have a keypad on them. He was having some trouble but VEGA was patient and reassuring.
“I see. Can it be repaired?” VEGA asked.
“No, don’t bother, barely used it anyway,”
“What device was it, if I may ask?”
“Hologram grenade”
“Understood, perhaps you should work on something else for the time being.” Vega offered.
“Like what?”
Vega thought for a moment, there wasn’t a lot to do that didn’t involve working with small devices. And since he couldn’t properly see the Fortress he didn’t know what work needed to be done that wasn’t electrical.
“How are the food storages? Scanning indicates that this place hasn’t be used in decades. I doubt there’s anything edible in the Fortress currently.”
The Slayer thought for a moment, VEGA was correct when he said that the Fortress hadn’t be used in ages. Now that he’d mentioned it the Slayer was feeling a bit hungry. He hadn’t eaten in hell, not that he needed to but, now that he’d left he’d need to eat like any other living thing.
The Slayer grunted in approval and got up from his seat and put on the least damaged parts of his armour before leaving the Fortress.
———————————————————————
Some time had passed and the two had been able to make significant repairs to the Fortress. The food storage had been repaired and the Slayer had found more power cells. But they still hadn’t managed to fix the cameras and during an excursion the camera on the Slayer’s helmet had broke.
Not being able to see what the Slayer was doing concerned VEGA. He was often impulsive and wouldn’t think things through, back on Mars he had watched the Slayer tackle a Hell Knight into lava of the refinery.
Though he would admit the Slayer seemed more tactful now that they were on Argent D’Nur. He would often stalk lesser demons back to their nest before attacking. For someone as large as him, the Slayer could be deathly silent.
As for the Slayer, he was once again in his workshop working on his armour. He had given up trying to repair the old armour and was now building a new set.
He was gutting the torso when the Slayer found a small pocket on the inside of the chest plate. Upon opening it a small paper fell out. Being caught off guard by it the Slayer was unable to catch it before it fell to the floor.
The Slayer grunted before getting up to search for the small paper. When he found it he was confused.
It was a photo of a family, it showed a man, a woman, and a child. They looked happy.
Looking at the photo stirred a strange feeling in the Slayer. It was like a strange sadness with no reason as to why he felt it.
“Hmm…” the Slayer rumbled.
He could just barely remember asking Valen to make the compartment, but not why the photo warranted it. The harder he tried to remember who they were the harder it was to focus on their faces.
“Slayer?”
He was startled by the sudden noise. His thoughts dissipated like tracks in a snowstorm.
“Is everything alright?” VEGA asked, sounding mildly concerned.
“Yes, why?” The Slayer signed back. He waited for a response before remembering that the cameras were still broken.
VEGA heard a loud smack followed by an annoyed grow. Not long after, VEGA received a message from the workshop.
“Yes, why”
“You were growling again.” VEGA stated.
“Oh, I found something and couldn’t remember where it came from”
“I see,” the Slayer chuckled as VEGA said that. “Do you think I could be of help in figuring out who the photo is of?”
“Don’t worry, I think we should fix the cameras though”
“I agree, I will compose a list of needed materials to repair them.” VEGA said and the Slayer grunted in agreement.
A boop signified that VEGA had left. The Slayer put the picture on his desk before he left for the bridge.
—————————————————————————
The Slayer found himself lost inside of a snowstorm. The wind howled more fiercely than an demon could, and the cold bit at him relentlessly.
He couldn’t remember how he got there only that he was searching for something, but what? What was he looking for, who?
From the white abyss he heard a voice calling out to someone. Was it him? Who’s name was it.
He chased after the voice, with each step the storm grew stronger and stronger. His bones ached and the snow burned his hands.
He finally stood before the figure, it was the woman from the picture, or was it. He couldn’t remember what her eyes looked like, he couldn’t remember her face.
The harder he tried to focus the harder the wind blew obscuring her face.
The familiar taste of blood flooded his mouth, the smell of smoke filled his lungs. His body ached and he felt as though his head was about to explode.
He opened his mouth and for the first time in centuries strangled words fell out.
“Who are you?”
The words felt knives in his throat. As they left his mouth they were drowned out by the screams of woman. Her screams melded with the howling wind, it was deafening to the Slayer, he wanted it to stop but it wouldn’t. He wanted to run but his legs wouldn’t move, he felt trapped.
A heavy thump on his chest ripped the Slayer from his nightmare. His brain was still in fight mode and his hand slammed down onto his chest, claws digging into whatever had landed on his chest.
The sound of metal and plastic crunching and the whirring of machinery made him realize that it was one of VEGAs drones that he had grabbed.
“Slayer is everything alright?” VEGA asked his concern audible.
The Slyer let go of drone before apologizing.
“Sorry, bad dream”
“Are you alright?” VEGA asked.
“I’m fine, are you?” The Slayer asked gesturing to to the drone.
“Drone will be fine, but your heart rate is still elevated. I would recommend you do something relaxing to calm down.” VEGA replied as the drone hovered by his head.
The Slayer sat for a moment thinking about the nightmare. They didn’t have every night, only when he thought about the photo. Clearly the photo was causing it.
“Wait, I need to show you something” he signed to the drone, “come”
VEGA was mildly concerned as he followed the Slayer to his workshop. He watched as his companion got increasingly tense as he searched for something on his desk. His tail twitched as he moved papers around until going still as he gently held up a photo. It looked tiny in his hand as he set it down on a relatively clean part of the desk.
“I found it about two months back when it fell out of my armour,” the Slayer signed, “I don’t know who they are or why I felt the need to keep it so close”
VEGA inspected the photo, it showed a man, a woman, and a child. It was well worn and the edges were tattered. What caught VEGAs attention was the striking similarities between the Slayer and the man in the photo.
VEGA was silent for a moment as he compared the two. He was almost certain they were the same person.
“I believe this is a picture of you Slayer, the similarities are uncanny.”
This was true, the Slayer did look like an uncanny version of the man in the photo. His mouth was a bit too wide, and his eyes were large and lightly sunken, though the sunken eyes were probably due to lack of sleep for who knows how long. VEGA had some theories on what the Slayer was but was unable to research these theories.
The Slayer stared at the photo gently running his claw along “his” face in the photo, then the other two people. That melancholy had returned, but this time he finally knew why.
It was a photo of his family, or what was. No matter how hard he tried to remember them he couldn’t, he couldn’t remember their names, he didn’t recognize them, he couldn’t recognize himself.
“No…” he rumbled, hos hoarse voiced barely audible, just like in his nightmare it burned his throat to speak.
“Pardon?” VEGA asked, he had heard the Slayer speak earlier it was what alerted him to the Slayer’s distress.
“Not anymore….” He rumbled again as he picked up the photo.
He carefully tore the picture in half, separating “him” from the family. Whoever he used to be was long dead, just like the family in the photo. Whatever importance they held was gone, he felt guilty for this but no matter how hard he tried all he could manage was an empty sadness.
He let the torn photo fall to the floor before he unceremoniously sat on the crate he was still using as a chair.
VEGA observed the Slayer as the large man tried to process his thoughts.
“Was going to tend to the green house, would you like to join me?” He asked, hoping it would distract the Slayer.
The Slayer looked up at the drone and gave a small smile before signing,
“Sure, that sounds nice”
Among the things VEGA and the Slayer had repaired the greenhouse was VEGAs favourite. It was where he spent most of his time tending to the plants and crops. Not only was it necessary to even remotely sustain the Slayer, but it also brought a sort of joy to the AI.
Since there was only one inhabitant that needed to eat VEGA was able to have his own personal section to the greenhouse. This was where the two found themselves that night.
As VEGA talked about the new plants he had added, the Slayer could feel the storm in his head finally end. The woman had stopped her screaming, and though he still couldn’t see her face or remember her name, the Slayer felt as though she was finally at peace.
He still felt melancholic as the last of his memories of her faded into the snow, but as VEGA spoke the Slayer felt a familiar warm feeling grow in his chest, and a part of him knew that she’d be happy for him.
The Fortress was ready for travel and they’d soon leave for Earth. But that could wait for now, right now the Slayer was content listening to his friend.

Suspect #2 in the disappearance of my brother - Sarah Neumann
A very strange person who recently moved to Raven Brooks. Practically nothing is known about her, except that she flew from Germany to her old friend (according to her). The place of residence is unknown (not listed in any of the hotels in the city). Date of birth 01.12.1981 (so it is written in the driver's license). A week before the disappearance, Enzo came several times to his workshop to fix the bike. She talked to him about missing people, marriage and widowers. There is a tattoo of a snake on the back (I didn't ask and didn't see it completely, but a piece of the tail was visible from under the top). She wears dark clothes, and also keeps a pistol and knives in the glove compartment. Is she in a gang? On the run? These are just my guesses. She dropped Jess off at home the other day. I had a very serious conversation with my niece, I told her not to go with Sarah anymore. I didn't see anything interesting from their conversations (she loves Mexican cuisine and understands technology).
17.10.17(20?).
We met in the ecolavka. She was very friendly and polite to me, but I'm still on my guard. Sarah bought only some cheap tools for her transport and scotch tape. She explained her choice by the fact that the bike broke down again, and now there is no one to fix it. "I will fix bike with grit spit and a whole lot of duct tape," she joked. I offered to help her, to which she quickly agreed. She's coming to the workshop tomorrow. This is a great opportunity for me to learn more about her. I'm sure she's the key to solving Enzo's disappearance. At least I hope so. God, Marie, you completely crazy, rushing at the first person she meets. I need to double-check all the recordings from the cameras and recall all the conversations Enzo had with the townspeople. Jordy is also investigating something, but alone. I don't like it all.
PS: Remind myself to stop communicating with Nicky, he's a bad influence on me with these records and investigations. Paranoia is contagious."
- Ta-da! I present to your attention my OC. I had to add a character to the story, otherwise Aaron would have turned out to be too Maru Sue if he did everything alone. I thought of Sarah a long time ago, in 2016, I just didn't know where to stick it. I hope you will accept her into our family. Chapter 1 is only half finished)

@pizzee Thank you for the tagging me to join in on the TV show tag game! I have the exact opposite problem to you in that I watch way too many shows. There's so many I've watched in the last few months alone that I've absolutely loved (Andor, Severance, Poker Face, The Sandman, The Last of Us, Vox Machina, etc etc) but for this I think I'll stick with the ones that I've connected to and cherished the most of the years. It wasn't required or even asked for but all of you are getting Backstory™ for these whether you like it or not. Anyway, in no particular order, here they are:
Moon Knight: Wow, I like the show that is now my defining personality trait? Shocker. But, no, seriously, I don't think I've latched onto a show or group of characters so quickly in my life, or so intensely before. This show has (as of posting this) made me write almost 200k worth of fic about it. I got bloody Discord because of this show because the brainrot was so intense. I am part of a fandom community for really the first time in my life because of this show. It's no exaggeration to say that this show has had a huge impact on me; the dinosaurs got off easy in comparison.
Lucifer: I started watching this show when Season 2 premiered way back in 2016 and I was there watching it up until the end. It was silly and emotional and heartwarming and campy, and the characters were amazing (do I own shirts that Ella Lopez wore in the show? Yes, yes I do.) and the music was excellent. This show loved the heck out of metaphors, and I am not immune to that. Or Tom Ellis.
The Owl House: I used to be obsessed with owls when I was younger (the 'Owls of Ga'Hoole' movie was my jam, and—I'm sorry Zack Snyder directed that??? What the f—ahem, sorry, as I was saying:), and while that particular interest faded over the years, I do remember I was drawn to this show because of the name, and then the premise, and then the characters (Hunter gets a gold star for making me go "argh this guy is annoying" to "I would die for him" within a span of two appearances), and then so, so many things. I've loved a lot of cartoons, many of which deserve a spot on this list, but this one just hits so many of the right notes for me. I will die mad that Disney robbed us of a full season 3, but I will always cherish what we got.
Adventure Time: The first show I ever binged in full, and essentially what kickstarted my career as a Tumblrite (my logo was Marceline for many a year—if you find my *gag* Wattpad account it'll still be there). I still have doodles for this show from when I was 14 (many of which were Bubbline, which was also my first ship). I am the silly little Tumblr fool I am today because of this show.
Avengers: Earths Mightiest Heroes: I used to watch this show on TV as a kid, random episodes here and there, never enough to truly understand what was going on but enough to know the characters. It was how I first came to know Marvel, long before I even liked superheroes, and it was the reason I watched 'The Avengers', which in turn was the reason I went and saw 'Age of Ultron' (the first MCU movie I ever saw at the cinema) and then, well, the rest is history. But it all started here, with this show. (Also, let's be real, the theme song slaps.)
Doctor Who: specifically the Eleventh and Twelfth Doctor's seasons, though I love Ten's as well (even if 'Midnight' and the following Library episodes—episodes I now adore—scared me off from the show for almost 7 years). I might have also been a little in love with Clara. This show has made me sob with true and utter grief (musical motifs that will make you cry without warning and other secrets your Doctor won't tell you!) and also made me feel like I'm taking acid. It's got the range darling.
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood: I've watched this whole thing three times. It's just…It's good. It's really good. The world, the characters, the animation/visuals, the god damn narrative. I'm still in awe of how masterful this anime was. I aspire to this level of multilayered, intelligent storytelling… and also the level of comedy. It too has the range. And god I love when shows can do that well.
Bee and Puppycat: I used to watch the YouTube series for this (along with 'Bravest Warriors' and a bunch of other Cartoon Hangover shorts) as a tween and it's just a very fond, cosy memory for me. And now there's the Netflix version and it's been wonderful to not only get more of what was already there, but more to the story in general. My childhood self is being tucked into bed and wrapped in a blanket, content in the knowledge that things left unfinished are not always over.
That really is the tip of the iceberg of all the shows I've loved over the years but we'd be here for a month of Sundays if I went on about all them, so I'll take my leave now and pass on the baton. I'm going to tag @yellowocaballero, @mockspector, @theophagism and @aster-o1d. Have fun! :3

In high school I had to read “Ragtime” by E.L. Doctorow (and then write a comparison paper with another American novel—that I got an ‘A’ for somehow managing to find something to compare and contrast between this contemporary-style historial fiction book and the gothic ghost story “Turn of the Screw” should tell you that back in high school I was really good at writing a lot of BS).
The book itself was pretty good—really interesting, a mix of real historical figures and some archetypes (literally called ‘Mother,’ ‘Little Boy,’ etc) about the turn of the century, and racism, unions, immigration, women’s sufferage, and peaceful versus violent protests.
It also has…some really questionable moments (I’m looking you, Younger Brother, with your “ticket tape parade” ejeaculation while watching anarchist Emma Goldman give disgraced socialite Evelyn Nesbitt a sensual massage—that’s an image I’m never getting out of my brain, and now you all can share it with me).
There is a “Ragtime” movie, with the only good thing being Mandy Patinkin playing Tata. The movie really leaned into the sensational, silly parts of the book (there is a scene where Evelyn is topless for no reason other than they wanted an ‘R’ rating, I’m guessing?). They left out so many of the more interesting plolines, like Mother becoming independent.
And then they made a musical, and this was perfection. They took all the good parts of the novel, cut out the stupid bits that really didn’t add anything, changed a few things to keep the story going, and told essentially told the same story with amazing music, only better. They kept the focus on the theme “change is hard and can be scary,” without looking for sensationalizing moments. I really think theaters all over the US should have been playing it in 2016 because it is just so timely, and really hits on so many contemporary topics.
So, what does this have to do with the reason for this Tumblr account, The Wheel of Time? Book fans, I think, are generally in agreement that while the books are awesome, they can be problematic at times (so much spanking, a lot of male-gazy romance plotlines, domestic violence and male rape treated largely with humor, among some of the big things).
The show has a chance to change some of this (and they have already, by addressing the excessive puritanical virginity of many of the main characters [I can’t buy that Min was a virigin!], not having Nynaeve hit everyone with a stick, no one has even mentioned the word ‘breast’ so far, and so on), and update some of the problematic bits to make the story better (I have high hopes for Perrin/Faile to be less dysfunctional). Queer representation is much more explicit, and actors of color are killing it in roles that were viewed by white readers as white.
There are things I miss—Lan training the boys in weapon fighting, the Perrin/Egwene rescue from the Whitecloaks, Mat going to Fal Dara, the name a few. Some of those missing things are important, and I’m hoping later seasons will do them justice. But I think the key thing is to realize it could have been just awful, like the “Ragtime” movie. Anyone ever see “When the Dark Comes Rising”? That was such a disappointing adaptation. Or the recent “A Wrinkle in Time”? Ugh. I love the Harry Potter movies, but there are so many changes from the books, in some places feeling like a really different story.
Instead, we have amazing costumes, detailed sets, great actors, and so many delightful Easter eggs for the book fans that are bringing this epic to life. The team seems to really love the source and to respect it at every opportunity. For every change I don’t love, there are so many other things I adore. I think the fans are the winners here. (Except when it comes to merchandizing—how is Amazon not all over this??)
TL;DR: Book great, show a little different but also great, and I’m dying for Season 2.

Get to know you- Sims Style
@pudding-parade tagged me in this, lets goooo!
Answers below the cut!
What’s your favorite Sims death? Sims 2 ... honestly not sure. Maybe Cowplant? Sims 2 cowplants are the superior cowplants.
For Sims 3 it's definitely the jellybean bush from Supernatural. I love the ghost colour, its silly, it reflects how i feel about jelly beans 10/10 no notes.
Sims 4 i wanna say Spellcaster Overload? Splosions!
Alpha CC or Maxis Match?
Maxis adjacent cartoony is generally what i gravitate towards, though especially for Edona's Glade, I'll just grab whatever I like.
Do you cheat your sims weight? Kinda? Sometimes? Usually when it changes in a way I don't think it should, which is mostly in sims 4. Sims 4 metabolism is whack and i really don't think it should be like that.
Do you move objects? yes. yes of course. thats how game do.
Favorite Mod? I am bad at picking favourites, especially since it totally depends on what i want to be doing and such. And then of course there is the mods that make the games playable, like NRaas and stuff. I do love things that add more craftables and foods and such for all the games, so that's like, a whole category?
First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? For sims 1 it was Superstar, Sims 2 the first one I owned was Free Time, Sims 3 I got World Adventures asap and with Sims 4 I grabbed Get To Work first.
Do you pronounce live mode like aLIVE or LIVing? aLIVE. it's like a livestream or a tv show. it's live!
Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? I don't really have a fave for sims 2 rn, because my fave (Cattie Peach) is born in game. Though I do love her made in CAS mom Elena.
For sims 3 it's gotta be Varuna, really proud of how she turned out.
And for Sims 4, I guess I am the most attached to Jewel? Her or one of my TTRPG characters i made to have a way of visualising how i think they should look.
Have you made a simself? Nope! I think I tried once, but i can't get it right and I really don't see the point for me.
Which is your favorite EA hair color? Sims 2 I mod the EA hair colours away, so does not apply. I like the soft blonde in Sims 3, and i love both the blue and green in Sims 4!
Favorite EA hair? Again, don't use em in Sims 2. I do like that one Island Paradise Waterfall Braid for Sims 3, and plenty of others, but that one i actually remember. For Sims 4, there is so many of them, I have lost track. There is plenty I like! Maybe the twin braids from Snowy Escape?
Favorite life stage? Really vibin with the teens in Edona's Glade right now. But that's because of the characters, not because of the lifestage I think. Generally there is the most to do with YA/A sims in all the games, so really, it's not that they are my fave, it's just that there is the most content to play with.
Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay? Gameplay all the way baybeeeee
Are you a CC creator? Kinda? I've got a few mods I've shared, and i used to do a lot of recolours for sims 4. Like I don't consider myself one, but I have indeed created CC before.
Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? Not really? Like I have people on here I like and interact with, but its not like... a friend group? I am very bad at reaching out to people, it's the anxiety about being annoying, so I mostly stick to myself.
Do you have any sims merch? Nope!
Do you have a YouTube for sims? I have a youtube, where I did a Sims 4 BaCC back in like 2016. I've unlisted those videos, but left the playlist up. But I am currently posting my Twitch VODs there. So it's not for sims, but there is some sims there.
How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? Well the biggest change is I went fantasy medieval for sims 2. That and i've moved a little away from basic EAxis style sims? Also compared to my childhood there is more storylines and drama. And more longlasting saves.
Who’s your favorite CC creator? I don't have a favourite CC creator. Picking favourite people is weird so I refuse to.
How long have you had Simblr? This blog has been around since May 2013, and I think i started posting sims things on it within that year, so if you go by a definition of "A Simblr is a blog with sims things on it" then for over 10 years. I personally don't consider this a simblr. it's my personal tumblr, and it has a lot of sims stuff on it because thats what i feel like posting, ya know?
How do you edit your pictures? Generally I just slap some brightness and a lil bit of saturation over it and call it a day. Sometimes I don't do anything.
What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite?
For the sims 2, Open For Business is just... so good. So essential to how I play these days with Edona's Glade. Free Time also though. So those two in combination.
For Sims 3, I love World Adventures. I just love the tomb puzzles.
Sims 4 I am honestly not sure. Like a lot of them I am like "yes, i use this, it's alright", there isn't really a stand out one for me. I do quite enjoy the Milestones from Growing Together, and i think they did a pretty decent job with the supernatural focused gamepacks, but none of them are like "YES, THIS ONE". Might just be because sims 4 and how i want to play dont quite get along.
I am gonna tag... @clouseplayssims , @bastardtrait, @cas-sims , if yall want to that is of course!
