The idea of the vegimals's birth is so fucking funny

Shellington hears SINGING(In a language he DOES NOT UNDERSTAND) coming from these eggs, which he ASSUMED were normal fish. The eggs are bigger than any other fish egg he's ever seen or heard of in his life, and he just takes them in. He pulls the egg out of the incubator that he put them in because IT'S SINGING, which can't be good for the egg, and he holds out the egg, confused, AND OUT POPS A DAMN CHILD??? LIKE IT'S NOT JUST A FISH IT'S OBVIOUSLY PART FISH PART VEGETABLE AND ITS BREATHING OXYGEN WITHOUT WATER UNLIKE A FISH?? AND HE HOLDS IT LIKE, "Oh sweet a kid" ?!?!??

AND THEN THERE'S MORE AND HE DOESN'T EVEN QUESTION IT??? HE'S JUST LIKE "I'm a father :D"

So I’ve had this idea brewing in my head for a bit.

So what the heck I’ll share this

I thought of a story where during a particularly bad mission, a storm knocks the Gup-A and Captain Barnacles off the map and gets stranded on an island. (The storm broke the gup finder)

The crew searched for the captain for months until the stress of it all caused the Octonauts to break up.

One year later now all the Octonauts and OctoAgents are doing their own thing unaware Barnacles is still alive.

Tweak returned to the Everglades and helps Ranger Marsh.

Shellington and the Vegimals go assist Pearl and Periwinkle.

Peso goes to Antarctica to work with Professor Natquik

Dashi accompanies Ryla on cave expeditions.

Professor Inkling stays on a very empty octopod.

Kwazii joins Calico Jack on pirate adventures while being the last member of the team to continue the search for Barnacles.

And Barnacles, he’s surviving on an island trying to hold out that someone will find him whilst doing his best to stay alive.
