first, you are just so much fun to tease (with love, I promise!). whether in person or online, hanging out with you just always puts a smile on my face. (also, I'm so glad we got to hang out in person before I stopped travelling so much for work. why must you live so far away?)
second, it is so much fun to watch/read/whatever any type of media with you, because we somehow have the exact same shipping tendencies and can just keysmash at each other all day. our messaging probably becomes borderline incomprehensible from the outside after 10 years of inside jokes about fandom, but I love it
third, you are one of the most generous people I know. you don't even think twice before offering to help in any way you can, without ever expecting anything in return. sometimes we have to hold you back from giving too much, since it just doesn't occur to you that it might be too much
I could be wrong but I feel like Root waving was partly to distract him from noticing Shaw's gun and being able to react right away, and partly because she became a tad more chipper when she saw Shaw brandish a gun (she does tend to smile a bit more when Shaw enters a room and shoots people imo)
Hee. I accept all interpretations, especially the ones that emphasize how similar their interests really are: gratuitous violence is a big check in their column!
I’m not sure I’ve really watched it thoroughly or recently enough, but I’ll give this a go.
my favorite female character: Probably Shaw? I just love how she gets shit done. I love how they brought her into the group - not really an ally but not really an enemy - and how she’s changed into someone they can all really trust to have their back.
my favorite male character: I do like handsome Jesus and his way of never quite talking loud enough. I also enjoy his faint exasperation when people prove to be difficult and his very dry sense of humour.
my favorite book/season/etc: This past season, because holy shit, the way it all led up the game-changer that was the finale was amazing.
my favorite episode (if its a tv show): The most recent episode, the season 3 finale, kind of blew my mind in how it let the heroes lose and also completely changed the way the show is going to progress from now on. I also really liked “Rasgovor” (3x05), the one that had Shaw basically partner up with a little girl, and it was amazing.
my favorite cast member: I do love me some Amy Acker and Sarah Shahi. (though Jim Caviezel’s face is very, very pretty)
my favorite ship: romantic? Root/Shaw because I love how Root just loves watching Shaw work and also flirting with her over dead bodies, it’s adorable. As is Shaw’s barely contained initial annoyance that has transformed into something like amusement. Also Harold and Grace make my heart hurt in a good way. platonic/familial? I love Shaw and Reese’s sibling dynamic, it gives me life.
a character I’d die defending: idk, maybe Shaw? I’ve heard that a significant portion of fandom hate her, and I just don’t understand the hate
a character I just can’t sympathize with: none of the main good guys, I really do like all the protagonists.
a character I grew to love: Fusco, because I was so worried that he’d turn on them in the beginning, but I love how loyal he is to them now.
my anti otp: Don’t really have one. (also, there’s not a lot of long-term shipping on this show)
Send me a fandom and I’ll answer a bunch of questions!
true story: as a child i had only had oranges cut into sections, so i had no idea you could pull them apart like mandarins.
iiiiiiiiiiinteresting. well now you know. so good job, team. though i like my oranges cut, i'd grown up with peeling oranges and separating them like mandarins. i do the same thing for grapefruits and pomelos. i sit there and pull the rind off and then i open the actual segment apart to get to the juice sacs.
tumblnonymous answered your question:
I get rid of theeeeeeem. Mandarins too.
but how long do you spend time getting rid of them? are you meticulous about getting rid of all of it?
