#tuesdaytravel Tip. Greece 🇬🇷 is full of stunning historic cities, islands, and beaches 🏖 . A Greek island that is not as popular as #santorini but in my opinion has a lot more to offer with less tourists is Crete. #cretegreece (You can also google Chania) is the biggest island of #greece and has two airports which makes it easy and affordable to travel to. There are very #cheapflights from London with British Airways. The island has several nice beaches, such as the one on the first picture. There is #nofilter on the picture, it really is an impressive place. The perfect time to visit is May or September, book a hotel on the #chania side of the island and PLEASE rent a car. It’s hard to get to the beaches if you don’t have a rental car. Local transportation is very slow and does not take you to all of the beaches. I stayed in Chania for a week during May of last year and I spent about $100-120 dollars a day, including hotel, car, and food for two people, so as you can see is a good European option for #traveling. Colorful Trastevere is a funky, bohemian area that clings to its centuries-old, working-class roots. It's known for traditional and innovative trattorias, craft beer pubs and artisan shops, as well as simple B&Bs and budget hotels. From the pre-dinner passeggiata (promenade) until late, a young crowd buzzes around Piazza di San Calisto and Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere, the site of a gilded, mosaic-filled church.

Palm Beach 🏖 New South Wale, Australia 🇦🇺 . . Some more pictures and clips from my visit to palm beach couple of weeks ago before the world stopped. . Obviously for people who have been there they have to get the iconic picture sitting it hanging of the cliff. . Spoiler alert it looks like your hanging off a cliff but truth is your not really there is a ledge under it, still makes for a good photo 👌 . If anybody fancy’s a day trip from Sydney just go up on Sunday. Bus from Wynyard Station $3 takes your straight there and will bring you back 👌 . Would recommend palm beach to anybody traveling 🇦🇺🇬🇧 hope this cheers some people up with everything going on atm 👊❤️ . Phra Nang caves has many interesting and ghostly tales attached to it. According to the legend, Phra Nang was an Indian princess who was killed in a shipwreck. In another tale, Phra Nang was the wife of a fisherman who was lost at sea. She lived out the rest of her days in the cave, awaiting her husband’s return and the belief says her soul is still around and her blessings have been bringing the prosperity to the locals around the bay. Today, local fisherman and boatmen leave offerings in Phra Nang cave to ensure safe travel on the sea. These offers take the form of male genitalia (quite realistic) - the cave is covered in many “linga”, or phallic-shaped statues meant to represent the Hindu god Shiva. They are decorated with colorful cloth, and the cave is filled with incense. The caves are left at peace after sunset.
