Dear everyone,

I likely have to let my cat go tomorrow. She's 15 years old and probably has cancer. She's declined drastically since January. She's lost so much weight, isn't even resting comfortably, is having breathing problems, and wants to eat, but can't. She's essentially a skeleton wearing a fur coat. It breaks my heart knowing that I'm going to lose her right before my 21st birthday and during the Christmas season, and I wouldn't get to start the new year with her. I probably won't get to bring her home from the vet tomorrow. I've had her since I was five. I'm trying to give her a good last night. We're listening to Christmas music and enjoying rose-scented air freshener. I think she knows I'm sad, because she stares at me and purrs when I cry. I apologize to her for not saving her when I had the chance.

Because of this, I'm taking a longer break from law of assumption and reality shifting. I also feel like an absolute failure as a manifester and shifter, because one of my desires was/is better health for my kitty and shifting to a reality where she's healthy. I now fear I'll never manifest and shift at all, ever. I don't know where I went wrong. I'm apparently supposed to persist, and not spiral or waver, but obsessing over doing and not doing that stuff has taken a toll on my mental health. I feel like it's my fault my cat is dying, both inside and outside of law of assumption. I'm told to persist and to not waver or spiral, but I struggle with these things. I'm aware that things can change for the better at any time, but I need to acknowledge and feel my emotions and process things, even if they're not what I want in the 3D. I need to grieve, even if it's against law of assumption and reality shifting. I wasn't going to just ignore my cat for the sake of doing them, and I never will.

My break will at least last the rest of the year, but I'll pick them back up sometime in the new year. Maybe in the new year, I'll play it by ear to see when I should pick them back up. Maybe someday I'll figure out where I went wrong in manifesting and shifting. Maybe someday I can live the master manifester life I see others living, as well as the master shifter life I see others living. I feel hopeless (don't worry, I'm not gonna hurt myself or anyone else) and helpless in them. I've been on my manifesting journey for almost two years now, and it can feel like I've made no progress. I feel like I should've manifested and shifted by now. As with being a pet owner, it can feel like I'm not doing enough and like I'm doing it wrong. I'm afraid it's going to be a long time more before I finally manifest and shift, if it ever happens.

I don't even know where to start when I come back from my break. I don't even know how to handle my kitty's (likely) last appointment tomorrow.
