I'm realizing that not everyone is supposed to have an intimate space in my life. Not everyone I meet has the potential to be my best friend or lover or close friend.
Some people I meet are meant to be acquaintances, friends, pleasant interactions and/or individuals I do specific activities with (such as going to a coffee shop or thrift shopping (etc).

"Feelings are loud, you can hear them screaming with the heart, you see them in eyes, you can hear them in words, you can see them on a face, you can feel them flowing through the air, but the feelings unspoken lead to broken hearts cause when you bottle them up like that, you will break your own heart from the weight of your feelings, the sheer weight is almost enough to break anyone.. so share your feelings in a positive way and you will relieve yourself of that weight."
Feelings are the one thing that exists but doesn't exist - eUë

HIGHER SELF
It's okay to grow so much that nobody knows who you are anymore. Don't look to the approval of others for your mental stability.
If you're rejected, move on. Don't shrink yourself to fit the person you've outgrown. Live in your purpose. Practice gratitude. Be your higher self.

Not to slutshaming or anything: but being ready to fall in love with the first one that gives you attention or acts like loving you isn't healthier than hookups / ons.

Narcissists move on very quickly, other than they cannot be alone, having fragile egos, needing constant validation, is because they need to prove the problem in the relationship was you not them. Look who wants me, look who’s texting me, the problem couldn’t possibly be me.

I absolutely detest this Gen Z aesthetic culture. People are less engaged in actually engaging in activities like reading literature, farming, volunteering, painting and creating art than they are in how others view them. The same individual who describes themselves as a dark academic will simultaneously acknowledge that they haven't read anything but fan-fiction since the 6th grade and will still attempt to discuss books they haven't even opened. People who are fixated on beauty and the "aesthetic" of an activity that defies logic or common sense. The same individual who talks endlessly about moving to a remote cottage in the west doesn't even have a garden, let alone have a clue about sustainability, and will be the first to spend hundreds of rupees. The same individual who calls herself an activistgurl and shares dry Instagram infographics on public concerns is completely uninformed about any of the groups they claim to support and hasn't read any of the resources they've shared. Ironically, these uninformed liberal feminists are most vulnerable to being radicalised by social justice warriors because they haven't read any feminist literature and, have joined the movement solely for aesthetic reasons. They assert that they "aren't racist/sexist/homophobic/transphobic/etc," completely missing the point. It's so fucking annoying. You can wear whatever you like, but if you try to pass off your personality and hobbies as something that comes from your clothing, I won't hesitate to openly point it out. Just consider if you would say or do any of your current actions in a situation where you are not concerned with how others see you.

And we are now into the month of May! Wow, how time flies...
So, before I go further, I realized I needed to post a few things. WARNING: I'm about to speak honesty and could offend some folks. If it does, that is all on you, as I warned you!
So, with the warning out of the way, here's some honesty, especially in light of much of the posts I've seen on here (and have to wade through just to see the scifi types of posts I'm actually here to enjoy). Ready?
My gender/prefered pronouns: no one's business
My political views: no one's business
My religion: no one's business
My sexual orientation: no one's business
See a pattern? My business is MY business. While I'm going to answer honestly if I'm asked in a polite and RESPECTFUL manner, I will NOT filter my reply to protect the feelings of a grown adult. I'm 40ish years old, I am too dang old for any pandering nonsense. I am here for the following:
Data/Star Trek
Transformers
Scifi in general
Connecting with fellow special needs parents
If we don't agree on a topic, that's fine. Agree to disagree time. But DO NOT yell, scream, insult, or otherwise belittle my honesty. Act like a mature adult in a conversation, and you'll recieve the same. If you resort to name calling or other pedantic childish behavior just because my reply "offends" you, I will block you. You don't have to read my blog. There is something called scrolling past it. If you don't like what I say, then move on.
Ok, now I think I've done enough of a disclaimer. This will be the last time I post something like this. Just needed to get it out there so everyone is informed. Have a great week!!
