Hi! How you doing? Sorry to bug, but I wanted to ask you a weird question: I saw you have the tip setting on and I've been really tempted to start it, does it really work? is it safe? do you really get tipped? Thanks in advance!

Hi! You aren't bugging me at all!

So, yes, it is safe. However, the only time I've ever actually gotten a tip was when I made a post asking if anyone has actually received a tip before. I mostly turned it on because I am broke and I figured maybe if I answered requests/etc people MAY feel inclined to leave a tip if they are able, but that has not been the case.

I should honestly just turn it off but because I am so broke I leave it on just in case another miracle happens lol. Considering content creators can't even get people to reblog their work, it's silly to think they'd tip you, but I do think it's a cool feature that tumblr added even if no one uses it. This is just my experience though, perhaps others have been tipped? I haven't really seen anyone posting about it, though.
