Something that has genuinely helped my social anxiety is imagining what would happen if Trexel Geistman was put in exactly the same situation as me. Like, I may have asked for a substitution a little too late and now the cashier has to cancel the order and put it all in again and they’re annoyed now oh god, but if Trexel were here? He would’ve changed his order several times as he waffled between decisions, because of rule of funny, and also somehow the entire establishment would end up flooded or on fire or annihilated with a space laser. Compared to that, whatever I’m cringing over suddenly seems small in comparison.
