Warrior Cats Novellas in 10 Words or Less (mostly 10 words):

So I started explaining the super editions to my friend who’s only read the first series and then this just happened. I’ve read a majority of the novellas and I’ve at least seen review for pretty much all of them so this may be somewhat accurate. Without further ado:

Hollyleaf’s Story - presumed-dead murderer delays confronting mistakes (with ghost love interest???)

Mistystar’s Omen - local leader conflicted about her atheist doctor (real main character)

Cloudstar’s Journey - entire people wiped out in series of tragic events (sad)

Tigerclaw’s Fury - coup leader recruits goons (several things go wrong)

Leafpool’s Wish - doctor has illegal affair and children (sister deals with it)

Dovewing’s Silence - I cried at the mass funeral (not kidding)

alternatively; Dovewing’s Silence - woman struggles with perfectly fine hearing (featuring annoying creep Bumblestripe)

Mapleshade’s Vengeance - everyone is somewhat to blame (please don’t kill me)

Goosefeather’s Curse - baby prophet gets bullied (and causes numerous disasters)

Ravenpaw’s Farewell - gay cats are the best cats (rip OG Alderheart)

Spottedleaf’s Heart - they didn’t think this one through well enough (questionable)

Pinestar’s Choice - had to look this one up (guy thinks life sucks?)

Thunderstar’s Echo - don’t know this one (mundane stuff happens in ancient Thunderclan?)

Redtail’s Debt - the writers didn’t pay attention (still a good story tho)

Tawnypelt’s Clan - old lady sick of everyone’s shit (and rightfully so)

Shadowstar’s Life - state leader paranoid about assassination (tensions temporarily resolved with death)

Pebbleshine’s Kits - pregnant woman wanders around a bit (allows kinda weird cameos)

Tree’s Roots - genuinely nice character backstory (will warm your heart)

Mothwing’s Secret - doctor rejects religion (good conclusion - the gods are a scam)

Daisy’s Kin - babysitter thinks she’s purposeless (she’s actually too good for everyone)

Blackfoot’s Reckoning - cool, but I don’t get the hype (sorry Blackstar fans)

alternatively; Blackfoot’s Reckoning - president reviews obvious mistakes during inauguration (while making several excuses)

Spotfur’s Rebellion - woman assists coup that fails (she’s not like other girls)

1. Alderheart

He’s just a sweet baby, and I feel so much maternal love for him! he’s just this cute lil kitty. I have many headcanons for him; he’s fun to think about.

2. Tree

He’s funny, he probably uses catmint a lot and that’s interesting to think about! He’s just a chill hippy type guy.

3. Violetshine

She’s interesting, and I’m a lot alike her. We both felt left out at places that were supposed to feel safe. She’s very interesting, she’s not exactly perfect, but not inherently evil or morally gray. She’s interesting to think about as well lol.

If the Warrior Cats characters lived together in a small town

Shadowsight: Shadowsight would live in a house in the middle of a cemetery far from the city and few people would know of his existence

Ashfur: he had many jobs but he was always fired from all of them because he didn't do anything right because he kept trying to follow squirrelflight everywhere (he also tries to memorize her routine so he can always find her in places and pretend it is a random encounter)

(And i think he lives in a small apartment but nobody knows where he lives)

Sol: works in a library or a museum/art gallery i think he likes to work in this type of place and be snobby with others because of this

Leafpool: has a small medical clinic and Jayfeather is her apprentice who is known as “the rude guy who works with the kind doctor”

Tree:he would probably be a naturalist taking care of the city's animals and plants

Ohhh my disheveled BOYYY! I was originally going to make him large and scraggly in like the beard way, when I remembered he had kits super young and I do not see tree being a large bearded man when he was goofing flirting with violetshine oh no, so he will get a updated design when he's old <3

I love tree though, I like that we get to see a cat so different from the clans usual life and he's ALWAYS IN THE RIGHT!!!!!!!! and he wasn't forced to take a specific role!!! He got his own!!!! He's so cool!!! And sweet and AAAHHHH

Shadowpaw: he is so fucking sad in this book what. He's the equivalent of like a 16-year-old jn this (I think) 8/10 enjoyable :]

Bristlepaw(frost): hollyleaf 2, the sequel but with less parental issues! Love ivypool!!! Also she's the obligatory thunderclan pov soo. 6/10 she hasn't grown on me yet

Rootpaw: shut the fuck up please no one cares about how much you hate your father. Kinda annoying idk, he'll probably get better as he grows, bristleroot is cute i guess idk 4/10

STORY

Idk what's happening with the bad leaf-bare since it's easing up at the end, at first I thought it was going to be like an eternal winter until they fix the moonpool but I guess not

BF: I have no idea who stemleaf is, I don't care for him Bristle deserves better (better is NOT Rootpaw istg he's the same bright ass yellow as Tree) she's cool, very similar to Holly as I said.

RP: not much to say as his pov was my least favorite, I only remember the scenes with tree in them cause I remember Rootpaw being pissed that his dad wasn't a standard warrior lmao.

[Brambleghost was cool, rootpaw was too much of a scared kit to do anything lol] Idk if this is in Lost Stars or not, currently reading a Silent Thaw.

SP: what the fuck was going on here 😦😦 like srsly, he got a ton of bad visions (probably from the DF tbh) then killed bramblestar indirectly :0
