You know, I went into the anime adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc knowing it just wasn't going to have the same punch as previous arcs due to the pacing (primarily being a vehicle for flashbacks as opposed to slowly building tension), lack of impactful villains (Hantengu's back story simply does not have the impact or emotional draw of Rui or the Shabana siblings, and Gyokko is... he's just Gyokko), and incomplete-feeling character arcs (this is all set-up for pay-off on Mitsuri, Muichiro, and Genya, whereas Uzui & Rengoku had more satisfying arcs contained within single story arcs).

I knew this, and despite not totally sticking the landing with filler, I think Ufotable did a fine job with the material they had to work with.

I do have one criticism, though.

IT NEEDED MORE SWORDS.

Just had the most wholesome and lucky and fun time in Palia.

My plan was to level up hunting over in Bahari. Arrived to someone calling out a flow tree (a somewhat rare spawn of tree that you need multiple people to chop). So I head there. Someone finds another on their way to the first. So we all run to it together after chopping the first one. We all type ty or thx and go our seperate ways. Literally 20 seconds after someone find another flow tree.

And then as we are starting to disperse again a grove spawns and is found quickly! Chop chop chop. So by then we are like 7 people. All loaded up with flow tree wood. So I joke that now someone needs to spot some palium next (that's a super rare metal spawn). Several people laugh. We seperate again.

A minute later someone finds two nodes of palium. Then someone finds a flow tree and some palium right next to each other.

We seperate again. I find a flow tree. A second after someone else find another. We meet up and first chop one then the other.

Like 5 minutes later I find a big node of palium. While waiting for people to arrive for that another grove spawns. And someone announces they have some insect lures and where they'll put them down. That person is kind enough to wait for us to chop down the grove and then run over to them.

And then we catch insects together for however long 4 lures last. 20 minutes? 30? Even got some rare ones. My inventory was bursting and I literally had not hunted at all. xd But damn that was fun!

#62 flow tree. 15 palium ore. Fairy mantis. 2 azure hopper. And a dari clove #And maybe some friends? I did send friend requests. But I don't talk much since it kinda sucks on the switch #Palia #Also I really need to make some food both in Palia and in real life (one for money and the other for ... survival)

I think Mojang should borrow the oxidation states from copper and make bamboo planks dry out over time- starting as a vibrant green and aging down to pale yellow-tan when exposed to air. Same waxing mechanic, even!

leveling up statues in other nations might get you the billet. also theres the sacred sakura in inazuma at the shrine, the dragonspine tree, and the tree of dreams in sumeru you can give things to and get rewards (sometimes billets)

Haven’t played minecraft a ton lately, but a few weeks ago when I was on I laid out a ton of copper to be aging whenever I did have a chance to play. I use weather copper a lot and only had like half a stack left after remodeling that village...
