I dream of being a mother. I know it’s my destiny. I plan what school I will send them to, I already buy parenting books, I research childhood psychology, I collect ideas on activities to do with them one day.
I dream of being a housewife. I plan cleaning routines, dinners, and decorating ideas. I know it’s what *I’m* supposed to do.
I love this blog and I love being able to share my love for it with all of you.

To live in the stream of holy tradition in the Kingdom of God requires perpetual repentance, revival, and renewal by the Holy Spirit. The true traditionalist is not a person who lives in the past, but one who is open and alert to the voice and activity of the Spirit today. By living in the Spirit he is right up to date and alive to what God is doing now.

Frankly, I find it completely disgusting that Twitch is essentially becoming a porn site, disguising itself as “artistic nudity.” Why is porn culture becoming so normalised within our societies?
Furthermore, how is this going to be regulated? Is this going to be another easy way for children to access porn?
There’s so many questions to be raised about this.

There's never a good time for YouTube's unskippable ads, but I think halfway through a prayer with your right wing conservative traditionalist Hindu parents might just be the worst.

Something that irked me recently, I have come across 'traditionalist' tumblrs where woman flaunt their bodies in an immodest way or share a pornographic image with a sexual theme attached. These are women who jump aboard for attention and praise because 'traditionalism' becomes 'trendy' and they want to be in the center if not the center. A woman who truly believes in 'traditionalism' and what it stands for does not compromise who they are for the sake of their own character and what they want to represent.

A collection of photos from the St Patrick's Day parade in Bristol on Sunday 17th of March. For a celebration of traditional Irish culture, it was quite modern and flamboyant, and not without its references to more progressive political agendas (though I've heard of worse), it was wonderful to see how many people come together to enjoy and appreciate a culture that, inasmuch as it has spread across the globe, remains of distinct localised origin.
This is why I am a photographer, to explore in visuals culture in all its various forms, the good, the bad, and the ugly, exploring what makes communities tick, what brings people together, and what pulls them apart. It is local culture that brings communities together, forging links between people and the places the live in, no matter their origin or background, and if we want local and national cultures to continue playing that role, then we must do everything to preserve their identity and uniqueness through all the cultural convolutions of an increasingly globalised world.

conservatives need to realize that just because something is a part of your tradition, doesn't mean that tradition is infallible and not allowed to be questioned ever, especially if its toxic

Don't get involved with a man who is in a moment of indecision.
He can even say that he likes you, but he doesn't know if he asks you on a date, he doesn't know if he really wants "something serious" if he introduces you to his family or not.
It's the man who should take the initiative for a relationship, and if he already has doubts about you, it's better to walk away.
We are very attached to emotions. You will start to nurture feelings, but he will always answer you with "I don't know what to do", which will generate anguish and trap you in an uncomfortable situation.
If they get married, there is a risk that when you make a mistake or are in a difficult situation, you will hear negative comments such as: "I should not have married you, I had doubts". Run away from that kind of man!

I’m so looking forward to being a housewife, however if I have to look at another listing for a house that is a white box with grey flooring I’m going to bury myself in the yard.

The Traditionalist - July 31st, 2022
Scribbles on Chris McCandless; or Another case of Materialists vs Spiritualist:
I don't feel I need to introduce who Chris was, or what he did. At this point, you either know or you don't. If you don't, I do encourage you to look into his story. It's an interesting one, if nothing else. My reason for bringing him up is that I find people's reaction to him polarizing. You either think he's an idiot or you think he's a hero. There seems to be no in between. When I sat down to think about why this is, I realized it was yet another example of materialist at odds with spiritualist, or vice versa. The materialist camp only focus on the fact he went out into the wilderness and died. They point out how he was under equipped, that he didn't know the area he went into, and that he was arrogant and inexperienced. Personally, I find the inexperienced charge one that comes from a place where you're trying to paint this guy in as bad a light as possible. He had gone camping regularly from childhood, and the man survived two years essentially homeless. That doesn't strike me as someone who doesn't have at least some idea of how to survive. With that said, he certainly should have learned more about the area he was planning to operate it. While he may not have planned on coming back, perhaps hoping to exist in nature perpetually akin to a mountain man, it's still useful to be familiar with your surroundings no matter what your goals are. The spiritualist camp understand "survival" wasn't Chris's goal. He went out into the wilderness seeking some kind of capital "T" Truth that transcended what we know as life. He was searching for something the physical world had not and could not offer him. It's this intangible quality of what he was searching for that the materialist can't buy into, which is where the divide comes from. As with most things, I'm fine with people choosing one camp over the other, I simply wish they have a complete understanding of what they're against. I see the focus on his death from the materialist, and all I can think is they're missing the trees for the forest. Survival wasn't his goal. It was of secondary concern to him. He was a man with demons and trauma trying to find a way to deal with them more than anything else. Unfortunately, it seems he needed to come face to face with death to do that. But maybe that was the whole point. Forever searching, Lord Bozzel
