The third one was already a perfect ending to the franchise, but no they had to go out of their way to destroy it by making more movies despite the fact that the last two were terribly received
It's just...sad to see a once respected animation studio like pixar losing It's way like this by treating their first and their most important franchise like this, toy story may be one of the most impactful things that happened in animation history, but I don't think people would remember these movies as something other than another "franchise that got milked to death"
Anyway rest in peace pixar you were fun while you lasted
Instead of being smart, but a little unknowledgeable about certain things (such as the name of s'mores) they dumbed him down some in Toy Story 4 and made him take figurative speech literally, which wouldn't have been a problem, if it didn't cause him to essentially make every correct decision based on pure luck. How? He was told by Woody to "listen to his inner voice" or something like that. Since Buzz has a button that can activate a pre-recorded voice line, he uses that throughout the rest of the movie to make most of his decisions.
