How would Bam or Kuhn react to another irregular s/o. I just thought it would be an interesting scenario

ooh, i haven't had a request like this before, and I'm writing for Bam, because I suspect this boy is wholesome

i haven't posted a req in 4 months I'm sorry

It wasn't rare to meet a regular in the tower. After all, most of those climbing it were regulars. That didn't matter to Bam. Power wasn't something he judged someone by. Bam didn't enjoy judging people at all.

Curiosity did sometimes get to Bam - other than Rachel and Mazino - were there any other irregulars? Would they be as strong as Urek or as deceitful as Rachel? Is there any chance that Bam would meet another one?

Bam was all too comfortable talking to Khun. He was someone Bam trusted wholeheartedly.

"That isn't something to bother about," Khun starts. "You've met people climbing the tower, most of them regulars. I can't say you won't meet an irregular, but I can't say the opposite. You've got plenty of time. The tower is pretty big, after all."

The thought of meeting another irregular didn't make Bam anxious. It didn't make him feel anything. For all he knew, he could walk past one and not notice. That train of thought got him distracted as he walked on.

Bam feels a sudden nudge against his shoulder. "Oops, sorry," a soft voice says, snapping Bam back to reality. "I should have paid more attention,"

Instantly, Bam's drawn to your eyes. You looked almost defeated. Dark circles lay under them.

Bam smiles as he answers you, "There's nothing to apologise for. You look like there's a lot on your mind,"

He was stopping you from getting away. You didn't know his intentions, only that he didn't come across as someone dangerous. But there was something about him.

"No, it's nothing. I don't know you, and you don't know me. I need to go,"

Bam was conflicted. Khun and others had told him that he couldn't save everyone, and he wanted to acknowledge that, but you seemed so down and anxious that he didn't walk away. There could be something wrong.

"Are you in danger?"

"What?" you look around nervously, "I didn't realise I'd walked into another irregular." You stiffened as you realised what you just said.

"Is that why you instantly became more anxious?"

"Yes. I was expecting you to be a bit more intimidating,"

Bam smiles at you, helping you become more relaxed. But it didn't help you feel calm.

"You seem a lot more trustworthy than the irregulars I've met so far," it was a comment that caught you off guard.

This guy, an irregular, was supposed to be powerful but was weirdly friendly with you. He wasn't intimidating in the least. You smiled in relief.

"It's nice to see you smile," Bam compliments you.

So I JUST joined the fandom because I finished the webtoon this night and so I'm not caught up on the fandom lore and don't know what anyone else has to say yet. I'm just gonna come out and say it. Even though Bam is extremely busy and has a lot to do, he says the most important thing to him is his friends so I'm surprised he didn't go with Isu and co to wake up Khun from his two year long coma after the hell train. Khun is his best friend and would do literally anything for him. So I thought Bam would have the courtesy to do something for Khun in exchange as well. What I'm saying is that I know Bam loves Khun back but it seems like an unbalanced relationship. Again, Bam is busy and wanted to save Jinsung. He trusted Isu to take care of Khun. Also, he technically spent more time with Jinsung than with Khun. But still, I'd want to be there when my best friend wakes up from a two year long coma after having been almost killed. I would have at least hugged him when finally reuniting. But that didn't happen either. Maybe Bam wasn't worried because he was certain that Khun would be safe. I don't know. It just seems like Khun invests more energy and love in this friendship than Bam. Like, I don't expect Bam to do anything big. Just a hug and a thank you. Maybe it's just that I feel sorry for Khun. I'd cry if I had someone like him. Btw I'm not really criticising Bam, I love him and he needs to be protected. I just think that Khun deserves some more real appreciation.

TickleTober 2022/Day 01 - Anticipation

Tower of God - Khun x Baam

“Baam.”

“Y-yehes?” The boy giggled, despite his efforts to not to.

“Stop laughing, I’m not even touching you.” Khun grinned, making it sound almost as if he was ordering the boy.

“I’m t-tryihihing…” The brunette admitted shyly, trying to look away as his wrists weakly battled Khun’s grip.

It all started with a silly bet between Baam and Rak. For a chocolate bar, the irregular should have to simply sneak on his friend and tickle him. It sounded like a really fun thing to do, Khun would be caught off guard, laugh a little and he would taste that sweet chocolate later, right?

Wrong.

As soon as he landed his hands on Khun’s waist, the light bearer responded faster than he could expect, taking a hold on his wrists and pinning them against the wall above Baam’s head.

Now, back to the presente, there was them. Facing each other at a very close distance, with Baam’s torso awfully exposed and vulnerable to his friend, who was also taking an awfully long time to decide which spot he would pick, making the anticipation grow to unbearable levels.

“It was really low of you, Baam, trying to stab me behind my back”, Khun added dramatically, slowly wiggling his fingers over the boy’s side, making Baam twist his torso adorably as he tried to evade the tickling.

“I’m sohohorry!”

“Oh, are you, now?” Khun replied, placing two fingers right above Baam’s hips and slowly moving them up, as if ‘walking’ his body. The brunette jumped at each new poke, battling his friend’s hold with more effort the higher Khun went. “How sorry are you?”

“V-vehehery!! Ahahaha, n-nohoh! ~” A new stream of giggles broke through his lips when Khun poked the middle of his underarm. A fit of nervous laughter was making Baam almost melt against the wall behind him.

“I see, but you do not seem to be taking me seriously, do you?” He almost whispered, hovering his hands above the brunette’s ribs, barely a inch away, but enough to not make actual contact with his skin.

“KhuhUHUhun, p-plehehease,” Baam whined, watching his friend’s fingers glide so close to his body was maddening him. He couldn’t tell when he would actually deliver a poke, start tickling him or if he would simply threat do it

“Yes, Baam? What is it now?” The light bearer tilted his head, gazing at Baam’s blushing face.

“Quihihit it!”

“But I’m not doing anything right now, what should I do then? I supposed I can’t simply let you go, now, can I?”

Why did he have to be so mean, the boy thought at some point before a poke on his side made him squeal. The actual tickling couldn’t be worse than this unending anticipation, right? “Ahahah, j-juhuhust tihihic-ckle me already! ~” He practically begged, trying to turn his body away from the devilish touch of his friend.

“Oh, really? If you insist…” Khun muttered happily before use his free hand to start pinching at Baam’s hip, even sliding his finger inside his shirt to tickle the boy’s bare skin.

“AhAHAh, KhuhUHun, w-wahaAHAhait!! ~” Baam giggled, trying to pull his arms down despite his friend’s firm grip not allowing him to.

In fact, the tickling proved itself to be much worse than the constant teasing and the unnerving anticipation. Feeling how each move of Khun’s digits against his exposed hip made him howl in laughter, Baam started to regret accepting that bet.

“Well, I have to make it up for all the time I left you waiting, right?”

“NohOHOH- eeHEhehHEhe, plehehAHAhase,” Baam shook his head as he pressed his eyes shut. His laughter raised a notch when Khun decided to claw at his bare side and stomach.

In the end, despite not having the chocolate bar in his hands, Khun could still enjoy the sound of Baam’s sweet laughter. Maybe the bet wasn’t that bad after all...

A/N: And so we begin this year’s TickleTober! Heh, I wasn’t sure if I was going to write them as a romantic or platonic pairing, but I ended up deciding on the latter. I’m not so sure if I got the prompt right (even if I feel like I did, heh), but I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did ~

it still startled him when you tried it the next few times, but you would give him an apologetic smile and go back to relaxing again

the more you nibble at him, you more comfortable he becomes

would chuckle at you playfully when you nibble at him at a time he expects you to

it's a quirky part of you that Bam likes

a little surprised by your new urge, kinda give you a questioning stare

but then teases you for it, likening you to a cat who's found something soft

and the teasing's relentless but calms down after a while

it is a bit difficult for him to get used to, but eventually, he does, and it's something strange that he likes about you

tries to spot times when he thinks you're going to try it, then teases you just before you nibble on him

but gets you to promise you that you'll only do this kind of thing in private

White

didn't flinch, didn't even say a word when you tried it, and it made you feel uncomfortable as fuck

bluntly teases you to the point it's weird

you'd have to let him know that you want to nibble on him before you try to do it

insists on you doing it on his neck, so it looks like lovebites - he has an enormous ego, you know

sometimes, when he feels like it, he will tell or ask you to nibble on him, even if you're uncomfortable

Hatz

as soon as you attempted to nibble on him, he straight up asks you what you were doing

takes a long time for him to get used to what you're doing, and even then he doesn't understand why you do what you do

insists that you only nibble on him when he's calm, he doesn't want to snap at you
