Getting started with Mortal Kombat Lore for Beginners

The MK Wiki is a great jumping-off point. It contains lore, character bios, etc etc.

The timeline in MK is confusing as shit, and there is more than one of them. You can find a fairly decent breakdown HERE.

I've had people ask me which game to start with to get into MK- personally, I like MKX, but the distinct downgrade in graphics can be a hard adjustment for some. MK11 is a good game (not great) and many hours can be spent on it, so it's a good investment.

The 90s movies will always hold a special place in my heart for their corniness, and the new 2021 movie is spectacular in my opinion.

An Instagram account here has made a video which has a whole lot of uncredited Mortal Kombat art starring Fujin and Raiden, some of which I believe I’ve seen around here on Tumblr.

The video author says it’s just a collection of art they like rather than outright claiming it’s theirs/reposting, but since it’s all uncredited either way I think if you guys see your work in there drop a report or a strongly worded comment.
