Beyond The Music Room- Chapter 4: Better for the both of us

It was a relitively basic sentence, Heasrtslabyul posted videos on a semi regular basis. be it a interveiw, new song a dance practices, mv maybe even trh occasional sneakpeak

the video was pretty regular, a dance practive. if were to get into specifics’s Cater was rthe one who posted the video, aftrer a quick edit and overveiw freom his management it got the greenlight

TWSTEN always had been pretty lenient with what their idols would post, considering they essentially lead the world no one would dear trey to deface any of their idols, giving the said idols grounds to do almost anything

granted it wasn’t illegal

It was weird, this one specific video, a dance practice of caters to new solo blew up extremely fast, even for Heartslabyul. The reason? it was simply the video included a new face, one that wasn’t affiliated with NRC let alone TWSTEN

OFC the media wanted to know who the mystery person was, TWSTEN gossip was a landmine of views, revenue, and popularity. It was second nature for any channel in need or fresh new content

the comments rolled in naturally and soon the strange appearance became the biggest trend after the comments are the surge followed on every social media imaginable

(Y/N) layed on their bed, it was way past the ungodly hour of the night they should be awake but they couldn’t help it, the darkness of their room was pierced only by that of the gentle glow of their phone, they didn’t expect the video to blow up as quickly as it did

To say the video was trending was an understatement, everyone and their mother had seen it,

A video such as this caught the eye of many, but none as much as it caught the eye of one specific group...

epel was bitter

He should of known that something was going on from the second he saw that good for nothing idol climnging onto you like you were some kind of cringy high school couple. the longer epel scrolled the more he felt his mood sour.

To think that after all he did to prevent losing you. all th erestless nights where thoughts of you and you alone kept him awake, with every metticulously planned word that fell from his mouth in your presence.

with every second he wasnt with you you were slipping through his fingers. day bye day his worst fear was comming true.

It was 3:16 am. Way past the reasonable time for anyone of his stature to be awake but he couldn’t bring himself to fall asleep, to succumb to a dreamless state of unconsciousness. Maybe it was the fatigue thinking but at least staying awake could be more productive that lazily sleeeping off his problems

His management would however, beg to differ. He had a big- no massive day ahead of him. Tommorrow was the day he would make an official debut via interview it would also be the first time he’d see his unitmates in person which was just a bit nerve wracking

He knew he should be asleep because from the second his alarm rang in 3 hours he wouldn’t have time to rest for a week give or take. The media would have him booked for photoshoots, commercials, interviews and more of the like. As him mind wandered to the way his life would change he realized something.

He would have to limit his contact with those outside of TWSTEN, limit his contact with (Y/N). It seemed like the world was out to get him, between the whole Heartslabyul drama, his debut, and his transferal from his small town school to the overly extravagant halls of NRC, It was like he and (Y/N) would become strangers.

He had to talk to them, Soon. If he didn’t speak up now he might never have another chance in ages, At least not before that Heartslabyul scum got to them first. Against all odds against him, his brain screaming to just go to sleep, his body refusing to comply to his request and his heart about to be torn in two he got out of bed and made a mad dash for the walls separating him from the person who could keep him up this late

He didn’t care, didn’t care that he was only dressed in a thin graphic tee and sweatpants, didn’t care that he would most definitely regret this in the morning, didn’t care how wet his hair was getting since it started to rain. He was a man with a mission and he’d be damned if he let this chance slip through his fingers

Like his body was on autopilot he soon found himself standing a good 10 feet below (Y/N)’s window, no entry way insight his thoughts ran frantic he had to get through to them, As if a lightbulb went off in his hard he began searching his pockets for his phone, only to come up empty handed.

Adrenaline running out he resorted to the fastest solution he could think of

—(Y/N) POV—

“(Y/N)!”

A voice broke through the silence, piercing the seemingly unbearable emptiness like a blade wielded by the hero of some kind of fairytale.

Like a hand grasping onto another that had already lost hope. It was reminiscent of our first encounter and suddenly I was back at that pond, giving up, giving in and sinking deeper for what seemed like ages

It was like the warm hand that I must of felt, the hand that pulled me out against the current, a hand that held more strength than I could of ever imagined, the hand that belonged to Epel

“(Y/N)!”

Again, his voice broke through the loud rattling of raindrops against my window, making its way to my ears like a forgotten melody of a siren’s song.

Snapping out of my thoughts I stumbled over to my window and stuck my head out the tears that unconsciously started rolling down my face mixing with the rain

There he stood, like a beacon of light, a light at the end of the tunnel, calling out to me.

“Epel?!”

And like that reality came crashing down on me…

He shouldn’t be here. He should be in a world of his own, shinning like a beacon for everyone but me, he had his chance to be apart of greater things, that’s why I had to let him go

“(Y/N), I-“

I cut him off

“Go home, Epel.”

Slamming my window shut I sank to the floor as the tears started again

After all…

This was better for the both of us.

Tried to draw according to a reference. Seems that I start getting a bit crazy about hanfu, and cannot stop reading more about it. Additionally, my crazyness for references to Tentens gets to another degree: I just suddenly produce a Tenten every time I start drawing anything. That was... not planned. 【[Funkuro Valentine’s Day 2022] Jeanne’s [Holy President] special story translations (All parts)】

Keep in mind that these translations are not official since I’ve relied on various translation machines and tried my bestest to make it understandable as possible. Part 1

The first turning Student Council President Jeanne

With Valentine's Day approaching and the school is in high spirits

An unprecedented declaration is issued by the student council led by Jeanne.

Marco: "Good morning, students. Today, the president of the student council has an important matter to discuss with all of you"

Marco: "Listen carefully"

Jeanne: "Good morning, everyone"

Jeanne: "I have an announcement to make to all of you today"

Jeanne: "Tomorrow is Valentine's Day..."

Jeanne: "However, giving and receiving chocolates is prohibited at this school."

Jeanne: "This is all for the sake of maintaining order at this school... And in return, it's for the sake for all of you"

Jeanne: "I look forward to your cooperation"

Jeanne: "May the school be peaceful"

The day before Valentine's Day

Marco: "Tomorrow, we'll conduct an unannounced inspection of everyone's belongings... Is that right?"

Jeanne: "Yes, tomorrow is Valentine's Day"

Marco: "In order words, at eleven"

Marco: "To crack down on those who are bringing things that have nothing to do with their studies"

Jeanne: "There is also that- but that's not the main purpose."

Marco: "What do you mean by that...?"

Jeanne: "Valentine's Day is an event in which chocolates are given and received."

Jeanne: "In other words, a man and a woman of the same age touching hands...!"

Jeanne: "What would we call it if we didn't call it impure sexual intercourse?"

Jeanne: "Impure heterosexual intercourse is against the rules of this school"

Jeanne: "Violation of School rules means evil... Evil must be destroyed."

Marco: "I see! As expected of Maiden-sama...!"

Marco: "A noble resolve to not allow evil! I fully support you!"

Marco: "We, the student council- will do our utmost to get the job done!"

Jeanne: "Thank you very much"

Jeanne: "Well then, shall we make arrangements for tomorrow?"

Rest of student council members: "Yes m'am!"

Meene: "Well then, Maiden-sama we'll leave you to it"

Venstar: "Please excuse us"

Marco: "What's wrong?"

The Second Turning Jeanne's Melancholy

In order to maintain order at the school, Jeanne and the others decide to crack down on Valentine's Day

All while holding back the rebellious students, they begin inspecting their belongings

Jeanne: "Now then, please line up here in order everyone"

Student 1: "I wonder if the president of the student council is going to inspect my belongings...!"

Student 2: "That... Might make me a little happy"

Jeanne: "Marco please check everyone"

Marco: "Leave it to me"

Student 2: "What, it’s the vice president......"

Marco: "What did you say!"

Jeanne: "Stop it, Marco"

Marco: "...Tch"

Venstar: "...Maiden-sama, I have something to report"

Venstar:" It appears that quite a few students have brought in chocolates"

Meene: "We're getting similar reports from the other group"

Jeanne: "I see......"

Jeanne: "I guess my feelings didn't reach to everyone......"

Jeanne: "I am very sad......"

Marco: "Look, gentlemen! The student council president is saddened by your actions!"

Marco: "Know your sins and repent!"

Student 1: "I'm the one who's sad!"

Student 2: "That's right! This is outrageous! This is an abuse of authority!"

Student 3: "Besides, you're just jealous because you didn't get any!"

Marco: "Y, You bastards......!"

Marco: "...It looks like you guys are in need of some punishment"

Student 1: "Punishment...?"

Marco: "Take him away"

Venstar: "Yes"

Student 2: "S, stop-!!"

Marco: "...Well then, does anyone still have anything else to say?"

Students: "............"

Jeanne: "Everyone, thank you all so much for your cooperation"

Denbat: "Maiden-Sama...!"

Jeanne: "What is it, Denbat?"

Denbat: "It appears that some of the students slipped out of the baggage inspection"

Denbat: "They're on the run"

Marco: "What?"

Jeanne: "......Is that so"

Jeanne: "Well then, let me and Marco go find these students"

Jeanne: "I'll leave this place to you guys"

Denbat: "Yes M'am"

Jeanne: "All for the sake of order and peace in the school"

The Third Turning Gratitude

After the short incident with Kanna and the others, Jeanne suspends the crackdown on Valentine's Day

The next day, she summoned members of the student council into the room

Jeanne: "Good day, everyone!"

Student council members: "Thank you for your hard work, Maiden-Sama!"

Jeanne: "Thank you for your hard work yesterday in inspecting everyone's belongings"

Jeanne: "...But, I must apologize to all of you"

Marco: "But Maiden-sama, that's......!"

Jeanne: "Marco, it's okay"

Jeanne: "Please let me apologize properly because I was wrong in my perception"

Marco: "......"

Jeanne: "Valentine's Day is a time to give chocolates to the ones you love and to express your feelings"

Jeanne: "If we forbid it, people will have a hard time overcoming difficulties and"

Jeanne: "It would lead to more disorder"

Student council members: "............"

Jeanne: "I was naive"

Jeanne: "I'm sorry for the trouble I've caused you all"

Marco: "Raise your head, Maiden-Sama!!"

Marco: "All of Maiden-Sama's actions were done with the school in mind"

Marco: "Who on earth, could blame you...!"

Denbat: "If that's the case, then we're all just as guilty as you are"

Venstar: "Yes, Denbat is right"

Jeanne: "......Thank you so much, I am so very happy"

Jeanne: "Actually, there is something I want to give to all of you"

Meene: "Yes, Maiden-sama!"

at the lazy speed i’m going at for writing this essay I think it is going to end up takign the entire day. And I honestly don’t know if that’s better or worse than the boredom I would have anyways

Part 3 - Installation Case with my Samsung Tab E

After checking my P-Pal's lastest post update for his 8bitdo adapter; before I can do the "Jason Watterson" back to normal artwork in responds with Brown later on, I'm here to continue my topic about my new ProCase Tablet Case accessorie by finally for the installation test....for the second time that I did happen the first one back in October 2020 in few days. Anyways, let's go through this.

Note: I edited one of two photos through PicsArt on my iPad MIni; which it helps me from Tumblr's limitations of only posting with 10 photos.

25th Image

First off, I wanted to make a small comparision to my tablet and the case each. They have both almost sizes and inches. I happen to measure them by ruler where my Samsung Tab E tablet was 9 inches on side, almost 5 inches from top and bottom, almost 24 centimeters on side again, and 14 centimeters on top and bottom again. For the case was almost 6 inches on side, 6 inches from top and bottom, 24 centimeters on side again, and 15 centimeters from top and bottom again. All in all, their really look almost the same sizes and inches that it definitely fit. *thumbs up*

Okay, another small comparision to my tablet and opening up my new case to check of the inside; by removing the black foam and gel pack into trash bag already. There's a strap here that will be open easy as I would expect from other tablet cases.

28th and 29th Image (in combined)

Time to install my Samsung Tablet into my ProCase Tablet Case. Here you can see that I'm slipping into it with my tablet; just like the same thing with my old tablet case that I'm gonna save it on my next comparsion post tommorrow. Although this new tablet case was little bit hard to slip in with my tablet so I need to be careful of push it easy.

After trying to slipping my tablet into the case, it looks a pretty good fit when I finished strap it close nicely. When I hold on it, it feels a bit heavy whether lift it up or put it down. Nevertheless, it feels alright much like for my old tablet case.

32nd and 33rd Image

I took a look for the back and may notice that there's something not quite with the camera and speaker features; mainly it supposed to fit right along side my tablet after slipping up. On the 33rd Image that I took was that the holes are supposed to inline of sorts to my tablet's camera and speaker. Did I get a wrong sized tablet case that my mom or just a minor desgin flaws? Either way, guessing this is the only thing how it supposed to look on the back than seeing from advertise images I'd checked on through Amazon.com. Doesn't bother when I using the camera and YouTube listening through Speaker just fine.

What bother me a bit is that It's supposed to close the tablet case nice and shut, but almost one close enough. I took a combined pics of my new ProCase tablet case with my tablet inside, but had trouble of needed to close the lid right if it wasn't for another desgin flaws. I had to close it right by pushing it hard and if there's a chance some magnet will stick close together; as it supposed to have "magnet closure secure." Not sure if I'll be getting the next Samsung tablet case anytime soon; if means of perfect design so it can close properly.

Much like I did in part 2, I placing the standing angles with my tablet case again, but with my tablet itself inside to test results of how to place it on tables or bed during nighttime ^^* Anyways, it was the same thing than I thought it could; even did the fourth one without using angles to place. It looks nice any other way; not much for my old tablet case that it can do one standng angle place.

For my last one is completely flat, but nice to hold it up well.

It was an interesting part that I got to with my Samsung Tab E's installing into my case. It fits well, measuring it's sizes and inches, but had flaws of something's wrong it supposed to close it right and and holes for my camera and speaker needed of sight perfect fit. I would consider this new case good, but I can save though my review soon. For now on tommorrow, I can continue my next part for this new tablet case topic by comparison with my old tablet case that I first got for my Samsung Tablet back in May 2019. Link Here Stay tuned!

Hi guys!

How are you? I hope you're all doing good! So I'm back after a short break caused by my exams. I'm very happy to say that I passed my today's exam from ethics ! So happy with the results however, in exactly one week I have another one from English and tommorrow from German :| Nevertheless, it feels so good to have a free rest of this week, especially since I my birthday is on Friday!😋

When it comes to ather stuff, yesterday it was announced that Jesy is leaving Little Mix- it really affected me because I've been their fan for more than 7 years at this point. As much as it hurts to see her departure, I'm extremely proud of her for choosing her mental health over career. I know it was a tough decision for her to make, but I know it was the right one.

I've been listening to their songs on repeat since yesterday's evening. That's why one of my favorite songs of them is my today's song of the day.

Besides that, F1 has offically ended their 2020 season. Happy to see Max on the podium, he truly deserved that but I have to say- the Abu Dhabi race was a bit boring 😂 I'm waiting for the new season of Drive to Survive but I heard it's going to be released in January/ February so there's still a long way to go...

So...I’m obsessed with NEVER HAVE I EVER now and I’m not mad

Hey it’s Dana and I’m procrastinating my school work (because even the lockdown can’t stop my teachers from giving me work - how great!) so I’ve decided to watch a bit of the new Netlfix series NEVER HAVE I EVER which (after a google search) I found out is created by Mindy Kaling!

(However, by the time this post goes up I’ll probably still be procrastinating but for a whole different set of school work! Yay for me, I guess!)

I actually really have no idea what it’s about except for the fact that the title is a game I used to play with my friends to find out some gossip about their love life and vice versa which was often uninteresting because we never really had much to say. In conclusion, American High School romances have lied to me all my life about games like Truth or Dare and Never Have I Ever (it’s either that or me and the people around me have just lived fairly uninteresting lives...sounds plausible).

Anyway, read on to read about me reacting to NEVER HAVE I EVER the series for the first time!

Let’s just take a moment to appreciate how pretty Devi is; her hair is goals; orange is her colour; she has such a cute smile; she is thriving!

Also, I do love the religious diversity and the Indian representation.

Hahaha! Okay this first scene is quite funny and the arm hair thing is so relatable if you have dark hair; I envy people with lighter hair!

But, what is it with people and always wanting to be invited to parties??? They’re seriously not that fun and I often leave with a headache and an empty stomach. At first, they are quite entertaining but after a while (when you’ve told every single story about what you did in your summer holiday and stuff about your dog) you’ve run out of things to say and just awkwardly stand there until someone - and there is always someone - finally mentions school and now you’re that group of people talking about school because there’s nothing better to talk about. Or maybe that’s just my experiences with parties - I don’t know (I haven’t been to many lol).

Hey, that’s Mona from DC’s Legends of Tommorrow!!!! Omg! is this why she left the show???

Ahhh and Devi is not only a Hindu and an Indian-American but she is also a wheelchair user - Mindy is out there just trying to give everyone all the representation we need!

Oh - so she managed to walk again after trying to see a hot boy’s chiseled jawline behind a car? Hmmmm...seems plausible.

I’m also getting a really 80s vibe that seem quite common in Netflix movies and tv shows (like Sierra Burgess Is A Loser) but I know it’s meant to be in the 21st century.

Lol I’ve never heard that before but it made me choke on my food. Imagine people bullying you and calling you the UN - the political slander, the international slander. Omg I love this show so much.

I don’t really thinkl Devi should care if Ben thinks she’s unbangable because she is only 15 so she doesn’t exactly need to have banging as her number one priority.

The heels things is extremely relatable; I’m already a clutz while walking in flats but when I put on heels I’m falling all over everywhere (you should’ve seen me dance at my Year 11 Prom lol). Devi is wearing really high heels - I seriously could never so good for her!

So Paxton just says yes to having sex with her? What? Is this how it works? Is it that easy?

I’m so confused.

So I’m thinking that maybe there’s something more to Paxton than meets the eye. Maybe he’s a shamed virgin (which isn’t really as much of a problem as Hollywood tries to convince us) or maybe he might do a 360 and publicly shame Devi.

What I know, is that Paxton might end up having feelings for Devi after this (because this is how romance works, guys). Also, Devi might back out of having sex with Paxton.

So we’re onto episode 2 which is titled “...had sex with Paxton Hall-Yoshida”, making the title make more sense to me now.

Devi is casually just reading After which coincidently is also on Netflix (marketing strategies?).

*Love is in the air* (I was waiting for LGBTQ+ representations and I know this may cause some conflict with Devi’s plan for them all to get boyfriends butttttt in the long run, once Fab comes out to the gals they’re all going to accept her - at least I hope).

That blonde girl is too cute with her pixie hair cut omg I already love her so much and I haven’t even heard her talk.

This is the only love at first sight that I accept (this and The Half Of It, of course).

(Also the blonde’s eyebrows are beautiful; I want them so much).

This is the guy from Supergirl who played Lena’s old scientist boyfriend (and ruined all our lesbian Lena backstory but I did like him as a guy).

I like how Devi’s PTSD over her dad’s death is really being explored slowly.

Also, I knew that Devi would back out of having sex with Paxton and why does she always get cuts on her on her legs? is this symbolism? to do with her leg? and her mental state? am I reading too far into this?

Let Kamala be the beautiful biologists she deserves to be without an arranged marriage with a man whose family just wants her to be a wife.

We also shouldn’t forget how Devi’s mother’s feeling after her husband’s death. She may seem so strong on the outside but we all know she’s breaking on the inside and I hope that her and Devi can have a heart-to-heart about that.

Personally I think the blue ones...

Awww I think Paxton’s sister (Rebecca) and Devi are going to become good friends and I’m excited to watch it happen ahhhhh!

I’m thinking that Ben and Devi are going to become friends which would be quite sweet considering their rivalry.

Ohhhhhh Kamala has an asian boyfriend??? I’m officially attached; we need to end this arrnaged marriage; she needs to be with her boyfriend.

Awwwwww this is beautiful. I love Devi’s mum so much, she deserves love and attention.

Okay so we’ve now met a more human side to Paxton with him explaining that he’s been quite protective of his sister ever since she was adopted. And they’re not going to have sex (even though Devi told her friends that they did have sex) which is really going to cause major conflict.

Anyway, I should probably actually do some work now so bye!

MAJOR EDIT: So it turns out that I did work for about half an hour then decided to watch the rest of the season without reviewing as I go (because I was even lazy to do that lol). I did not think that I would actually finish the whole season in one go; I thought that I would just watch the first couple of episodes until it felt too awkward to watch the rest. Nevertheless, I watched the rest of the the season and I already want a new season to come out so badly!

Firstly, let’s deal with Paxton.

So I thought that Paxton would make a massive U-turn and start being less of a douche (as his sister Rebecca - who is just so deadpan with him that I just love her more and more - puts it) and more of a sweetheart who has some type of depth to him. Yes, he does seem to have depth in the way that he’s not just some hot guy on the swim team who’s always mean to everyone because he is usually nice and doesn’t forwardly go out of his way to bully anyone (and I also give points for the fact that he is half asian and not a nerd because we need our dumb asians to replace London Tipton in our hearts).

The problem is that I’m just confused about him. Why does he always come to Devi’s aid whenever she’s in trouble? What is his purpose? Why does he turn up at her doorstep when she doesn’t answer his text messages?

I’m particularly confused (and also extremely worried) about that last question because it’s just weird and uneccessary to turn up to someone’s house when they don’t answer your messages. Maybe I would have let him off if he did it once but this guy does it soooooo many times that it’s started to become a bit creepy. Like chill. Seriously. Not everyone is constantly on their phone to text you back instantly and sometimes I’ve even not answered for a couple of days but you don’t exactly see anyone knocking at my door like “hey, Dana, answer my texts - I wanted to know what fucking ice cream you like”.

Basically, it’s just creepy and I feel as though they’re trying to use that to use that as him essentially developing feelings for her but now he needs to lay off because Devi’s got her eyes on Ben now.

Okay so Ben is what I’m excited for now. The next season will most likely focus on their love triangle and maybe devlop Paxton more to possibly make us really confused on who Devi should choose. Personally, I think she should choose Ben at the end of the day.

Ben started off as Devi’s nemesis and I never really paaid much attention to him at the start because I thought he would just be there for a bit of comedy and to push Devi out of her comfort zone. It turns out that he has pushed Devi out of her comfort zone, in a different way of course (but when they kissed and the camera started panning down I thought they they were actually going to start having sex and I was like omg, whoa, I shouldn’t be watching this but also it would kinda be fulfilling to see Devi choose to have sex with this guy who actually wants her and actually likes her in that moment, fully forgetting about Paxton - it was actually just panning down to another call from Paxton).

I did see a glimmer of something between them but I thought it was just going to be a friendship to add to her group but I’m not mad at how it actually ended.

I feel as though we as the audience will route for Ben more because of that episode that completely centered him, which showed us just exactly how hard Ben’s life is. It was this episode and the Model UN episode that made me think that they might make this a thing (and there was also the fact that he tried to kiss her twice at his house).

It’s also an added bonus that Devi’s mum thinks so highly of Ben because it means she probably won’t have to hide him from her. While, yes, dating a guy who your mother doesn’t like (such as Paxton) is a symbol of rebellion and thriving outside of your family’s hold sometimes it’s not the right option if they turn you into someone completely different. Ben and Devi have this relationship in which she can be her complete self around him and not have to hold anything back or do anything in order to please him. They challenge each other, trust each other (especially with Ben driving her all the way to Malibu and STAYING), and understand each other to a level that Paxton just can’t seem to relate to.

Kamala’s breakup with Steve seemed really out of the blue with her really trying to stay away from an arranged marriage, to plain falling for the guy on the other end of the arranged marriage. Although she did say that she doesn’t want to marry yet I’m still really confused on why she dumped Steve but told Prashant that she likes him. I feel as though it would’ve made a bigger impact if she told both guys she didn’t want them and wants to focus on her aspiring career as a biologist.

I say that but I do see the sparks between Prashant and Kamala with them having a lot of things in common.

I want to end this fairly long review of the entire season 1 of NEVER HAVE I EVER talking about this girl right here, an absolute legend, a queen, the girl who wear a white suit to a sleazy high school party: Fabiola.

This girl is such an icon and her gay panic after summoning (yes, summoning) her whole family to tell them she’s gay (only to end up telling them she switched from AP French to AP Latin) made me both laugh so hard and feel so much pain for her.

When she finally told her mum that she was gay, I panicked. I had to mentally prepare myself to watch this woman shout, cry, question - even disapprove - of her daughter. Instead, what we got was a mother who accepted her daughter and told her that she’s only ever wanted to make her happy. It just made me realise that all that time her mother spent trying to get into her daughter’s love life (after thinking she had a boyfriend) was her version of trying to bond with her daughter and understand her and basically just be a mother.

Well, you know what, she is doing a great job as a mother and I’m so happy for Fab because I know when her mother finds out about Eve (if she hasn’t already) she is going to try and get all the gossip from her daughter and try so hard to take her shopping for clothes that’ll make her look good for dates with Eve (and I am thriving for this).

Her mother’s approach almost reminds me of the mother from Ackley Bridge (if anyone knows that show) who tried to get to know what being a lesbian really is like for a girl by going to one of the most gay areas in the UK. That was just an iconic moment and if you haven’t seen Ackley Bridge go watch that because it’s really good (at first though, after a while it gets a bit trash and you’ll understand).

I hope that season 2 comes quick (but it may not be for a while) and fingers crossed Ben and Devi are endgame, Kamala sorts out what she wants in life, Eleanor finally has a stern talk with her mum, and Fab and Eve finally become official (unless they are already) and we see a story more focused on them.
