What is there to say, even? The OG Threat to my 90s anime brain, the only woman I've ever hated with such a passion she made me turn away from the color pink. I used to write fics with my friend where she got left behind on purpose so our OCs could join the Naruto and Sasuke team instead. I loathed this bitch until I was 16 and realized the author simply couldnt write women and decided it was time to make peace with Sakura. It is not her fault she's vaguely written and obsessive over Sasuke. She deserves better. Sasuke and Naruto still should be together and Sakura shouldnt be with Sasuke but I no longer believe this because I hate Sakura, it is because I love her. She deserves a spouse who will actually put in the time to treat her like the hero she is.

Hinata Hyuga

Now, I know she is not as widely hated as Sakura, but as a Hinata fan I have seen a LOT of hate for her in this regard. She is in the same boat as Sakura except instead of loving Sasuke she loves Naruto. And let me tell you some people hate that she ended up with Naruto canonically. She gets the same 'she's so annoying' crap that Sakura gets and with NaruHina being canon along with SasuSaku they are certainly sisters-in-arms.

People hate her because she is a teenage girl with a crush on Naruto. Everyone is mean to her for no reason :(

This idea just popped into my head. How would Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn and Silco react to their S/O accidentally discovering that, for some reason, they're completely immune to Shimmer? As in their S/O doesn't feel any side effects, they can't become addicted to it, they don't become "enhanced", but they also can't be healed by it either. S/O can just drink Shimmer and it'll just not do anything to them.

A little "blessing and a curse" situation, if you will; S/O can't be harmed by Shimmer, but if there's an emergency & S/O is mortally wounded, Shimmer won't be able to heal them.

(Also am I the only one who thinks that shimmer is uncannily similar to oxycontin? Both were designed to kill pain, both are highly addictive, both of them flooded the streets in the same way, and in both cases, the people that made them are morally questionable, for lack of a better term.)

She hates the stuff. It's caused so many lives to be destroyed. So many people have been hurt because of the poison.

She's afraid when you're on a job and a container of it explodes next to you.

Caitlyn fears the worse before hearing that the only damage you have is of the explosion.

She has so many questions that she's not going to ask because she's just happy that you're going to be okay.

Jinx

Probably trying to see what bombs or weapons she can make with the crap while you're around. She asked you to stay back just in case.

Except her gun is jammed and she's messing with it to try to fix it. You move closer to make sure Jinx stays alright and that's when the shimmer explodes.

It's a small vial but it's enough to cause you and Jinx to shout in surprise. Jinx has already dealt with Shimmer so it doesn't do much to her, she's more focused on you.

But all you're doing is coughing and waving the smoke away. You're not hurt at all, just have some watery eyes. Jinx is relieved and gives a big grin, "Well, back to the drawing board!"

Silco

You're hurt and bad. He's taking you to the one person he knows that could make you better. He wants to object when shimmer is the option considering what it does to people.

But Silco is selfish. He asks for the procedure to still be done. For you to be fixed because he can't lose you.

Except it doesn't work. The shimmer doesn't work. He's confused, why aren't you okay?

It ends up being a very long waiting game. Your body is bandaged and taken care of as much as can be done without the use of Shimmer. He's scared and not leaving your side the whole time he waits.

Vi

Vi has seen how much Shimmer has ruined but also how powerful it's made others. She can't help but hold a vial of it she confiscated and wonder. Would she be able to save everyone she couldn't if she used it?

And you're with her while she's contemplating and talking her down. She's annoyed because she wasn't going to do it, despite the temptation and it leads to an argument.

You both don't know what happened in the midst of fighting but the vial breaks.

Vi goes to get you out of the way as she shields her face from it. She's coughing and trying to catch her breath and you're just standing there without any negative effects. She promises not to touch the stuff after that.

It's so annoying when Nalyra and this book group use excuses like this as if we're all dumb. There's lots of people who talk about the books and the show without being racist about it. The deeper issue here is not because people haven't read the books and think what you're saying is shocking.... What's really happening is that this group of BFFs loves to remove all mention of race from everything. They love pretending you can just overlay the books to the AMC show and it's a perfect match. Then, when anyone mentions how important it is to factor in race when discussing these things, here comes the screaming victimhood and all the "it's what's in the book" gifs. The "I'm sorry you just can't handle gothic literature SWEETIE" attitudes that are v tiring. Any race can be racist too (isn't that this group's favorite line too, they should know....) and only care for the wellbeing of white fandom, so these brown emojis or black fans who will make callout lists on other black fans under the language of calling out "fandom issues" or "antis" aren't fooling anyone to what the real motivation is behind it. People who worship Anne Rice are always going to be airheads who can't take criticism because look at your girl and all she was ever doing. Any adult who wants to defend her or the books is not a critical thinker or an intellectual. It's v possible to discuss her and the books without the stan goggles on. The black fans this group is always sneering at do it all the time. That's probably where the real issue lies, because it's done much better than the horseshit fanon Nalyra, Virgnia, and the rest are slinging and thinking is epic meta or something. Whenever anyone (but especially Jacob) mentions Louis might be a liar or an unreliable narrator they're jumping on the chance to spread that statement over every part of the story. They want so much for all of it not to be true because they need Lestat to be the good guy. They always claim they love stories about monsters except their favorite white guy can't even stay a monster for them to adore him. He can't ever even be any kind of fuck up and grow from it, he's just supposed to immediately be perfect. What's the point of the story then ffs? This is why you need to read other books that aren't written by idiot, egomaniacal authors who don't have editors and are in love with their own creations. If you always find a way to excuse the white characters, say all the black and brown characters are the unreliable, scheming ones, and scream and yell "it's what's in the books" whenever anyone reminds you to notice race......then you're just racist, girl. kind of related but not- I'm genuinely sorry to be posting so much or about Lily Orchard, guys. Prior to Courtney coming on and telling us her story I was mostly just taken aback and angry with Lily as "one of those critic types" in my circle of vision.

It sucks -and yeah I know other critics don't want to hear this+Lily will use this fact as an excuse to discredit ppl's complaints abt her. but I think a lot of us were initially exposed to Lily because they knew of andor were fans of her cartoon criticism content. In my case I knew Lily from her days of Bronydom and have watched her make more and more meanMEAN material even w it's not about internal fandom dramacallouts. Back in those days and up to last year I could say of Lilly the same thing I'd say for a lot of people who annoy me online: I think she's a bully. Which is still bad, it's just not 'criminal', inherent. Comparing her to Rebecca Sugar, Lindsay Ellis, Contrapoints or VivziePop would be stupid as she really doesn't have even half the portfolio or wherewithall as any of those people -or even Zena and Poppy, not that they're angels. Lily was/is annoying because she'd use other people's genuine concerns and talking points. There's a certain takenupbyaltlight-term that I begrudginly would love to use for Lily that REALLY hits the nail on the head with her, be it as a fan, a critic or an activist. But I won't use it. Not because it's untrue, but because it's used by the same people who write her kiwifarm pages and misgender her and clearly couldn't give a crap about her if she didn't make them "lol"

But then, I actually looked at some of Britt's receipts and skimmed bits and pieces of what remains of Stockholm (I think you all already know this but @britts-galaxy-brain the links are missing now). For years, I'd known and listened to others honestly harp on Lily as some kind of counter-initiative for her going after their fav foalcon people. I assumed it was more of the same. It's not. Lily 100% wrote cp and is trying to hide it. No not fiction abt young adults that delves into erotic and sexisms; not stuff with aged-up child characters being big boobied of themselves thru the gaze or r34 artists. She wrote cp.

Essense of Thought's and that one hour long video talking about Stockholm were the first real horrifying revelation. Then I read through Brittney's saved messages from Lily and 'Tara'. Then I saw Patch's video.

THEN, Courtney came out and told everyone on here and her server everything we needed to know. I don't abide by everything Courtney says, especially about her abusers but I mean they're her abusers and please stop asking her to like the children who're valued more than her in the lives of her abusers, or at least maybe vent openly not to Courtney directly about your fear for those kids Cameron has. Yeah, I'm also concerned but idk there's got to be a better way to handle this. Anyway, as previously stated, I believe Courtney, Britt, and Patch. There's no way that those people have faked that stuff. I've heard kind of stretched explanations being true, but there's no way Stockholm was "edited by pedos" like Lily's saying it was I know I'm missing a few folks in there but I believe a lot of people have been genuinely victimized by LO and aren't just acting out of transphobia, bigotry.

Of what I can attest based on what I've seen, I KNOW that Lily Orchard wrote 'fluffy' foalcon and is saying she didn't, and also that the woman hates the word "queer".

Of what has been shown to me, I fully BELIEVE Lily Orchard is an abusive, sockpuppeting predator. Not only that, she's hiding behind other predator's existence to lie to her audience of other abused people to convince both them and herself that she couldn't possibly be a predator.

In 2013, what was 10 years from now, there was a controversy in the MLP fandom where a minor rose a (not undeserved) stink abt the askblog Princess Molestia and how it was making light of r*pe, intentionally or not. To counter this, a bunch of mouthbreathing bronies took it upon themselves to prove they weren't creeps by threatening the underrage sa victim, making r*pe porn of her while other mouthbreathers basically said "yeah put she's [the minor] annoying so it's the same kind of evil we're doing, really". Centrists.

Why this matters to me is (CW. CW. CW) you can find a post from Tara Callie, who was almost certainly one of Lily's alts at the time, admitting she found the r*pe art of Pinkiepony "hot", all the while Lily herself was publicly denouncing Pinkie's treatment by the fandom.

Lily Orchard is an awful human being. She does not have intrusive thoughts or fears of acting on those intrusive thoughts sometimes, like me and other people do. She has sexual and violent urges that she hides enough form the public to not make her followers suspect anything. She's twofaced and takes out her probable self-hate by attacking other predators. She's all deflection and lies. I can not believe a thing that vile woman says. Neither should you.

The biggest means of fighting her I think we all can do of is refusing to use her critical tag w we talk about her. Spam her "own tag". Enough hiding and denying who this terrible bigoted abusive woman really is.

Because really, her thoughts on glubshitto or whoever from Owl House are HARDLY the worst of it. Not even.

Omegaverse where like Bowerbirds Alphas build homes to attract mates. Like it’s this huge thing to make the PERFECT home for your mate to live in and it’s supposed to be a reflection of both you and your mate. It can be an apartment but you’ve gotta like redecorate and clean and everything. Even then, an apartment is a 'starter' home. Alphas gotta build a house still- or at least design and make sure it's good. (Sometimes they stay in the apartment but usually no.)

So like it’s a HUGE deal when someone is seen buying paint if they’re known to be an alpha courting an Omega. Or if they're looking at furniture. It means they're taking the next step.

When an Alpha builds the home, they show it to the Omega and then give them keys. The Alpha leaves for the next 24 hours. If by the time they come back, the Omega has built a nest in the 'bower' then it's accepted. If the keys are left, it's rejected.

An Alpha can ask why. It's supposed to be done in private, but the news gets around about why. If an Omega says: you don't know me at all, then it's a shock to everyone since... why build a bower?! If an Omega wasn't actually that into the Alpha... well shit that's both sad and embarrassing.

Wait, thought: Apartments tend to be occupied more by Betas. Not because of a hierarchy crap, it's because Betas here tend to prefer to 'cluster' together like a flock. Alphas are much more solitary then not. Omegas are also more 'pack' then not, but they're very happy with being a little distant to.

This AU would totally have Pintrest be like an alpha thing where they get all their ideas. Usually, Omegas are supposed to not have a say in how the whole thing is done (they can make changes later but this is supposed to be the utmost expression of love, that you know them this well you can create this without them) but in more modern times, sometimes an alpha drops a link to the Omega. If the Omega quietly deletes the board, it's a 'no' and the dating/courting ends. If they say: to fast, Alpha slows down. If they maybe take away a few things they don't like, the Alpha tries harder.

If the Omega tracks down their alpha to make out... it is a yes.

The entire thing is partly subconcious as often an Alpha will start building/looking at things without being aware they want to take the next step.

-EraserMightMic with All Might as an older Omega who while he's kinda dating the two, doesn't know how serious they are until they send him a link. Hes very flushed.

-Inko and Hisashi are a beta couple and Inko loves her Omega son. Only the best blankets for his nest.

-Bakugou is a Beta and while he's a little relieved since he doesn't like the idea of being driven to build a nest or anything, he hates not being seen as a strong solitary person. (His mom is an alpha and dad an omega)

-Uraraka is an Alpha and her family isn't really poor as construction makes bank in this AU.

-Todoroki is an Alpha but Endeavour is a beta. He's both please and annoyed at this.

-Rody is an Alpha, as is Iida. I'm thinking Aoyama is one to solely cause the sparkly makes me think of a bird trying to sway someone. Dabi is an Alpha to. So is Yaoyorozu and Shinsou. They may or may not all have pintrest boards and are constantly updating what they think is perfect for themselves. (Dabi did but stopped after everything).

-In the Batman, Tim Drake is the lone Omega in the Batfam cause I like that trope. This makes anyone wanting to court him nervous cause 'expensive tastes!' which ha, no. He likes simple stuff.

-I generally think an Omega Tim Drake is treated wildly different by Damian in any AU. I imagine little Damian deciding to protect his omega brother fiercely.

Oliver Wood is NOT a Good Captain

“Bad news, Harry. I’ve just been to see Professor McGonagall about the Firebolt. She — er — got a bit shirty with me. Told me I’d got my priorities wrong. Seemed to think I cared more about winning the Cup than I do about you staying alive. Just because I told her I didn’t care if it threw you off, as long as you caught the Snitch on it first.”

But even Quidditch had lost its fun. The rest of the team wouldn’t speak to Harry during practice, and if they had to speak about him, they called him ‘the Seeker’.

The Gryffindor team visited again on Sunday morning, this time accompanied by Wood, who told Harry, in a hollow, dead sort of voice, that he didn’t blame him in the slightest.

I get the impression that fandom thinks Wood is a loving, good captain but he really is not. In isolation, the third snippet could be read as a joke (they did lose the match after all and Wood is quidditch obsessed). However, when you look at Oliver in totality, he shows time after time that he cares more about winning than Harry's safety and is perfectly ok with throwing Harry under the bus.

Overall, contrary to popular opinion, the Gryffindor team sucks. I am not talking about the individual players, but the whole team. Hermione disses Draco by saying that the lions got on their team by talent (screw Hermione btw, what does this annoying girl know about talent?)...but without Harry, they seem to be a bunch of losers.

Remember Minerva broke the rules for Harry to join the team as a first-year. Do you think she would have done so if the team was truly competent? The Quidditch World Cup in book 4 proved that a team can have a crap seeker and still dominate/win. The lions literally needed favouritism/nepotism to have a chance at winning. Let that sink in. But Snape is totally the biased teacher around here (sarcasm)

In either book 1 or book 2 (I think book 2), Harry missed the match and the team had the worst defeat in over 300 years! Further proof that these people suck without "chosen-one in more ways than one" Harry. By the way, Slytherin has reserve players. Does the Gryfinfor team have reserve players? Because I never see any. In book 6, when Draco and other Slytherins are conveniently out sick (to give Ron a chance at winning because the golden trio never seems to have to earn anything), they have backup players ready (eg that Harper guy who played Seeker in Draco's place). However, in book 5 when Harry and the twins are suspended, the team needs to hold tryouts to get new players. No backups in sight.

In book 3 when Harry gets his firebolt, the team (the entire school minus Slytherin house) gets all horny for the broomstick. "We have a firebolt!" basically reduced Harry's skill and importance to the team to his broomstick. These people don't care about Harry. Yet, it's such a crime when Draco and his team got new broomsticks in book 2! Gryffindors == Hypocrites.

I don't see much of Marcus Flint but from what I have read, I like him more as a captain. When the Gryffindor team tried to group assault a 12 yr old Draco after calling Hermione a mudblood (should have just called her a "bitch" or "hag" instead and saved everyone the need to virtue signal), Flint immediately threw himself in front of Draco to protect him. Remember these are older students trying to beat up a tiny 12 yr old because of something he said. The Weasley twins are BEATERS - just the 2 of them alone could have really hurt Draco. Compare this to Oliver who doesn't give a damn about Harry being hurt as long as he wins.

Also, when Draco is an idiot and loses to Harry in book 2 (of course, the only time someone has a better broom than Harry, Harry wins because that person decided to fool around despite wanting to play on a quidditch team before Harry even knew what the sport was), the Slytherins don't ostracize Draco the way the Gryfindors ostracized Harry when he lost house points.

In a nutshell: Marcus Flint >>> Oliver Wood & Gryffindor team sucks.

PS. If you are a Draco anti or Hermione stan or any other kind of Gryffindor stan that thinks Draco deserved to be group assaulted by bigger, older, stronger students because of calling Hermione a slur in response to her insulting him first, just ignore this post and move on. Unlike you and a good chunk of the HP fandom, I don't get sadistic pleasure from seeing Draco constantly (group) assaulted for saying mean words to characters who had contempt for him first.

I just want to say congratulations to the Gravity Falls fandom. After nearly twelve years on tumblr and a truly staggering amount of blocked fans and admittedly incendiary posts on my part not a single one of you verifiably went on anon to get around a block and into my ask box. Not even that time I opened up about my personal family issues and got attacked for it by dozens of people. Everyone who got blocked stayed blocked. In fact, no one from any of the circles I post in has ever done this, hence why I'm even dignifying this ask from a pathetic individual who ships like they're an adult Harry Potter fan with a response: to commemorate the occasion.

In this time of mass exodus due to racism and transphobia from staff as well as our user data being sold to an ai model which will immediately die the moment it tries to train itself with it, it's wonderful to know that there are still parts of the true tumblr experience that I too can take part in, and that despite tumblr's waning growth and popularity, despite my own waning time on this site, when I do eventually log off for the final time I'll be able to rest easy, knowing that I truly was a part of this community... And knowing that the part of the community I primarily interacted with during the bulk of my time here, despite a brief period filled with completely untagged old man incest porn in the main character tags, never pulled this shit, and never got to the point where every third post in a given ship tag was a complaint, about random bullshit that doesn't matter and isn't actually something anyone was mad at in the first place.

Truly it would cheapen the experience, to complain about a bunch of unrelated topics, characters, and ships you don't like, in the tags of a ship that you do actually like, to the point where someone going into that tag looking for shipping content of the ship they like has to deal with a bunch of annoying crap that isn't shipping content and is rude to other people for no fucking reason.

The humble vagueblog has existed as a vital part of your fandom's existence since the beginning, dear Gravity Falls fandom, and you have used and honed the practice well. Your tags have not been infested with pages of unrelated crap from a new set of people very week who think the rest of us enjoy them spamtagging their complaints, and our tags have not been infected with people who don't like what's being posted in that tag posting in the tag anyways about how much they dislike the content of the tag they're posting in. All the porn is now tagged properly and no one is freaking out about people who don't ship their ship, not even when that ship consists of two characters who are at the same developmental stage for their respective species, and are not related to each other. As the fandom of a children's show from 2010s era tumblr you have truly exceeded all expectations. Gaze upon this ask, on this shadow of a shark beneath our little rowboat and know that I thank you, and that if and when I do eventually leave this site I will leave satisfied. Know that if there ever comes a time where I begin posting zelink content full time, I will be in hell trying to block annoying assholes all over again, because every third post in the zelink tag is made by someone like this who clearly has nothing better to do with their time than complain about a naked fish lady who is dead and does not interfere with the ships they actually like because she's not real and you don't have to include her in your fic or engage with the people who like her if you don't want to.

their approach to "problem characters". any character that's annoying or brash or that the fandom probably won't like because they're affecting the "family", the main characters react like the fandom would.

maybourne? sg1 and everyone attached was basically "noooo not YOU" every time the man came onscreen until he became more... "pleasant" isn't the right word - his annoying traits became at least funny. and they STILL went "uggghhhh frickin... THIS GUY again" even to his last appearance (that I know of - the king maybourne episode)

just forgot his name, it wasn't Caldwell but the colonel that was like super mean to rodney. anyway. rodney is arrogant and slightly annoying and gets on everyone's nerves but we still love him. and when that colonel was super mean to him in front of everybody, they were all like "exCUSE YOU- you don't get to talk to OUR RODNEY like that! get out of our house! you may not be wrong, but you're so far from being in the right here. don't ever do that again." he backed down, but still. you don't get to do that, and everyone who witnessed it backed up rodney.

Cam Mitchell was obnoxious from day one. he thought he was going to be o'neill, and I was really worried that the show was just going to fully replace him with cam. but they were really good about it, and sg1 doesn't take cam's crap and tells him that he's not o'neill and will never replace or be o'neill.

I'm not sure if I'm getting my point across, or if it seems like I even have a point, but what I'm trying to say is that I like it when the rest of the cast doesn't just accept annoying characters, but appear to agree with the audience (or makes the audience agree with them, I'm not sure how that works)

An annoying problem with Splatoon's story mode needlessly involving the idols is that it makes writing fanfics difficult. Sure, it can be a story set in the world of Splatoon, but if this is the world of Splatoon, then you'll want characters people can relate to. By recycling the idols as companions over and over, we don't get many new characters. S2 had zero new characters for the story mode, OE had C.Q. Cumber, Tartar, the crab who gives you stuff for completing mem cakes that I can't remember the name to, and to some extent, the idols, and S3 had the idols (and to some extent Mr. Grizz). That's all fine and all if they actually did something, but when they all literally just stand around and do nothing, it doesn't help using them as characters past "Marie, Callie, and Cuttlefish run the Splatoon."

The Agents themselves don't help either. By having every story mode make you an "Agent", it feels like every OC has to be an Agent, and it's a breath of fresh air when someone makes an OC who isn't. The Agents also have next to no personality traits or backstory to speak of. You're saving the world because Cuttlefish put an Agent suit on you and said Go, not because you have a reason to. They have no backstory besides "they moved to Inkopolis / Splatsville recently" and no personality traits past "Agent 3 doesn't talk and is super serious" "Agent 4 doesn't watch TV". Agent 8 at least had some sort of backstory, although pulling an "I have amnesia" on us doesn't help her case. She's an Octo who heard Calamari Inkantation and is now fighting to get out of the Metro. But we don't know any specifics about her life prior to the Metro.

Just my thoughts.

Okay THIS! This is one of the reasons I (and MANY OTHER PEOPLE by the looks of it) are so done with the NSS and the idols as recurring characters. The Splatoon world IS HUGE and the developers clearly have endless, even complex character ideas. The world is so big and so complex and we see none of it because every "story" that we're given in Splatoon deliberately REMOVES YOU FROM THAT WORLD... then spoon feeds you some chosen hero arc with the same zero-personality supporting cast over and over again that's really only a supporting cast if you as the player have a sentimental attachment to the characters (they don't do anything in the game and usually have like 1 personality trait.)

Like, just imagine if the stories in Splatoon had the freedom to be detached from the idols and if they had the freedom to tell smaller, down-to-earth stories that felt much more personal and took place in actual facets of the world. They could craft a colorful cast of characters that actually had purpose in that setting and there's no reason you COULDN'T still make those characters marketable and fan-favorite! There's literally so much you can do with stories within the Splatoon world and somehow all the Splatoon stories completely miss the mark and I don't know how they keep doing it. It almost feels like they're purposefully avoiding fleshing out the world or the characters of the game, lol

And this is something that I find really strange because isn't one of Splatoon's driving themes the freedom of self expression and like, diversity? Then why are we always playing as some character who's void of personality and doing some random crap in an environment that's emptier than the local mall during May 2020. The world is out there, WHY AREN'T WE? Believe it or not, before Octo Expansion's release and Off the Hook becoming super popular, the Splatoon fandom WAS full of independent OCs that were just... guys that live in the Splatoon world, and the world itself was a huge focus because that was like, the THING. But after the game became deliberately character-focused, there was a huge boom where nowadays instead of random OCs with no ties to the canon characters, everyone's OCs essentially ARE the canon characters. So instead of having a colorful cast of people in a wacky world, it's more like we all have our own AU of the same exact things happening differently and it's... well. The world hasn't been the fandom focus for a long-ass time and watching it feels like some kind of cultural death lol. And I can't blame anyone, especially not the newer fans, because the world hasn't even been NINTENDO'S focus and they're the ones who made it.

I'm glad you noticed the whole Amy and Sonamy being used to crap on Tails thing (or at the very least disregard him) because I thought I was the only one who noticed this.

I'm not a huge fan of how alot of times in IDW, the sonamy pandering is used to kind of crap on Tails or kind of treat him as a third wheel (from Sonic looking annoyed with the hug from Tails at the end of the metal virus arc immediatly after he was enjoying a hug from Amy, the cover of issue 59 in general, ect.) It seems..... pretty ooc for Sonic? Dunno it just irks me.

Even in Frontiers, with the scene of Amy yelling to Sonic about the koco, she doesn't even seem concerned about Tails' well being despite knowing just how horrible it was being trapped, noting that she would've gone crazy if Sonic hadn't gotten her out.

Much like all the talk about mandates, Tails' controversial moments in Lost World and Forces seem to have opened the floodgates for a particularly passionate brand of irrational in the fandom. Everyone laments how Tails has been in recent games, and yet you're also not alowed to wish he be treated better, because this or that character supposedly has it worse. So he's been used as a punching bag for the last decade, up to and including claims that he was never a good character to begin with.

As it happens, a lot of this behaviour tends to come from fans whose favourite character happens to be Amy.

(Disclaimer: Not putting all Amy fans in the one basket. Just noting a trend.)

There was a time when i would finish up all my work so that I can enjoy con weekend contents. Now i actively avoid con contents. I went from 🥰 to 🤢

And what is this "when Sam and Dean come back" that Jensen keeps harping on? Dude you do know that you are already playing Dean on a cheap show right? Does he know he is not making any sense? Anyway i was absolutely enjoying the FIFA final instead of this crap con updates. What a game huh?

I was too much into FIFA world cup to care. But I did watch the 3 panels I always watch. Misha, J2 gold and J2 afternoon. Misha's panel was fun. I knew most of his answers cause more or less they are the same questions. Learned that he had prosthetics done for converting to two face already when previously he said two face would not be on screen until season 2. So that's cool stuff. But I didn't like how he said Jared didn't have to work hard and was rewarded just for beautiful genes. Especially after watching how Jared said in the main panel that he wishes to tell everyone how much trouble he had to go through to reach here and it wasn't always so easy and glorious as people assume.

The Sam and Dean coming back is a bait for the people to not leave the conventions as this is a huge moneymaker for both J2 but especially the main moneymaker for everyone else in that con circuit. Rob, Rich, Ruth, the band, and literally everyone - their primary earning is SPN cons and then their 2nd job is acting. But Jensen saying "Oh I would like to play Dean again" like he is not playing Dean every week on TW seems hilarious to me. I know we ignore TW but to watch Jensen not admitting its existence is just 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Two things annoyed me was "Jared won't get a rim shot" joke is old as fuck ... it's not even funny anymore.

Everyone including Swifties have been bored of the pap walks Taylor has been doing with her friends since after the first two or three she's done after dumping Toe, nobody wants to see Taylor do the same boring pap walks with the same boring people at the same boring restraunts while the vast majority of people think that her current street style looks like complete crap.

Swifties were so bored of all this boring shit that Taylor's doing for the 1989 TV rollout that a lot of them were coming up with wild theories about how there is going to be a secret B-side to 1989 TV that has vault tracks with titles that don't sound boring as shit and collabs with actually cool and interesting celebrities. The excitement Taylor drummed up for Swifties with the Google vault puzzle didn't even last that long, the excitement all died off within two hours of Taylor announcing the vault track names and Swifties went back to coming up with "theories" to try and make 1989 TV and everything around it less boring.

Most annoying ship: personally, I don't really enjoy Steddie but it is mostly because of the toxic part of their fandom. I have seen a lot of people in that fandom bullying other m|m couples… makes me wonder why people love wasting their time making others feel miserable. Just chill and reblog some stuff! | Huge shout out to Steddie fans who don't witch hunt others! And to the ones who make amazing fanart!

Second favorite ship: Lumax (canon), Jopper (canon) and Argilly (non canon). Lumax and Jopper are definitely the best couples on the show! And Argilly??? How did people come up with that ship!? It is amazing!

Favorite platonic relationship: Stobin. I must admit I was a huge fan of the couple in S3 until Robin came out to Steve. The duo is one of a kind!

One thing I would change in canon: the whole introducing new characters in the show only to kill them in the last episode of the season... It is a never ending cycle. The man doesn't give a crap about what fans think! He/She/They are your favorite chars? BAM! DEAD! 💀
