#to me how important art is in connecting to others

I seem to have run into a pattern now every time I think about/attempt to shift.
Me: *lays in bed and starts mindlessly thinking while listening to music, attempting to keep a mental note of how long I was daydreaming* (Around the time I either start forgetting what I started with or whenever feels right)
Me: *starts thinking about walking in my IR room from a 1st person POV*
Me Thinking: "Okay so my bed is here, it feels nice and soft, very comfy. There is my desk with my art tablet and my two monitors. My closet is here..." Me: *really getting into the space of my IR room. Starting to drift away from my CR body, dipping into (hopefully) the void state*
Me: *Starts getting excited and can feel the excitement in my being*
Me: *Mind slowly drifts because of the idea of excitement. Starts thinking about why I want to shift to said IR* (Not always necessarily bad)
Me: *Start to think about IR partner/future partner, slowly turns into daydream. Now not actively thinking and staying in the moment.*
Me: *All of a sudden opens eyes and it is the morning in my CR. I had fallen asleep without knowing* Me: "FUCK I DID IT AGAIN!!!"
Now I know that for some people it's important to try and not shift to you IR for your partner/future partner. In some ways it could help you not put your IR on a pedestal and really connect with your IR, making it feel more realistic. And stuff like that. Like the idea that your IR isn't just your partner kind of thing. But between you and me most ALL of my IRs are partner oriented. What can I say I get attached super easy and fast. I mean I have maybe 3 IR that are not solely for a partner(s). That is my singer IR, my off grid IR, and an IR I like to call my justice IR. I originally created my off grid IR for the purpose of attempting to shift to an IR that is NOT partner oriented, because I like the idea of living off grid but in my CR that it WAY far in the future for me, if its even possible. Anyway, but I can't help myself and always drift back to attempting to shift to (currently my Spooky Month IR) a partner oriented IR. And time and time again this kind of shit happens to me! I can't help it! I am a heavy daydreamer! I always maladaptive daydream! Its just kind of hard for me not too, especially when attempting to shift. Like I said that is why I created my off grid IR, because I don't exactly daydream about off grid life so I would always actively think about and visualize that IR. I just wanted to share this with the community thought it was funny and wondered if this kind of stuff happens to other shifters.

Having to grapple w the experience of a piece of art being deeply personal and healing for you vs it either not providing that for someone else or being something that’s triggering instead, being able to accept that neither one of you is in the “wrong” for feeling as you do? one of the most valuable experiences ever imo

i think what makes developing my art style especially wonderful is looking at my older art and seeing the bits and pieces being there, but unrefined and lacking in confidence. like that's obviously me, that's my art, i'm just not sure what i'm doing yet. i love it so so so much and seeing pieces of my current style in my older art makes me feel all the more confident in the direction i'm going in.

a small personal recurring Thing for Melliwyk is that she keeps making tremendous strides in her research and feeling frustrated/ disheartened by a perceived lack of interest or appropriate level of impress from her companions, and it's a weird thing because it's not that she's upset that no one's impressed with HER (she crafted the first magic item in the vault's history by getting instructions from someone who knows how to do it, for instance-- as far as she's concerned, she doesn't deserve any special credit for that), but that The Thing is inherently impressive and she's just really excited and wants to share that excitement with others because it's something important to her
anyway I just realized this is the exact same way I feel about sharing art that doesn't get much/ any acknowledgement or feedback
#I have known both of these things separately for awhile but only just now connected them lol#'you shouldn't tie your self worth/ desire to make art to the attention it gets' okay yes sure in theory but#I want to show people because I want to share it because it makes me happy!! so when other people don't seem to care it bums me out!!#it's not about 'look how good my art is' it's about 'look at my/ my friend's OC I love her'#the fact that it's usually OCs is rough because on the one hand I can't actually expect most people to care and that's normal and fine#but on the other hand if I post dnd art where people who DO know the characters can see it and STILL little or no response... Feels Bad#I am a little kid holding up a macaroni art#it's not about 'tell me how good my art is' it's about 'I made this and I'm excited to share it with you! :)'#anyway yeah same for mel lol#mel: I have made A Magic Item. it is a gift for you#party member: oh thanks#mel: ... I mean yeah this is only the culmination of my entire life's work and thousands of years of fruitless research and experimentation#mel: NO BIG DEAL OR ANYTHING#it's weird because she doesn't know what to say about it (even if she was so inclined) without it feeling like fishing for praise#she doesn't want PRAISE she wants you to be excited for her and with her!#mel: for this important mission. you may borrow this rare and deceptively powerful magic item we found. because you are my friend#party member: meh idk#mel: OKAY BUT DO YOU EVEN UNDERSTAND HOW BIG OF A DEAL IT IS TO ME THAT I OFFERED--#lmao#about me#my OCs#melliwyk

anyway more republican art posting but. the characterization of republican art and the notions of personal appearance in that period make it so interesting to me. i think pliny said this when i was reading him talking about the ancestral imagines but he basically characterizes a 'decline' of art from the republican era to his time, essentially with art becoming less about showing the individual characteristics and personality of a person and more iconographic/about projecting things like wealth or power rather than capturing individual features. essentially he says portraits became more of a 'stereotype' which signalled what kind of person you were, rather than a portrait of your particular face. which i think, although i don't really know how right pliny was about his own time obviously, is definitely something which characterizes republican art in the cursory glance at roman art history i've taken; ie the focus on capturing idiosyncratic and individual portraits of people (even to the point of possibly exaggerating them, almost like a caricature) in order to capture almost something about their soul. i think this is why i find that era of portrait busts so alluring, and though there are also definitely imperial era ones which have the same idea of capturing an individual, the republican ones hit different imo

When I love a song, I’ll love it forever
#random post#smth i thought about earlier. yknow. I have a hard time picking favorites with literally everything#I also have what I SAY is a favorite of mine. but I have a hard time really pinpointing whats number 1 in my brain#like. I love lots of things. I like different aesthetics and clothing and art mediums and movies and shows and books and music and people#but it’s difficult trying to find the favorite. some things are easier cus there’s more that I DONT like so it kinda singles out an option#like with music. I love LOTS of music. but what does it mean when smth is a favorite? I don’t have a favorite genre cus I have songs I love#from all over. even ones I haven’t heard yet. music overall is one of my favorite things. I’m not joking when I say it’s a love language#I love the melodies and beats and rhythms and lyrics and voices. always and forever will have a place in my heart and mind#I hate questions that want to know favorites. isn’t it enough to just show you instead? to share everything with you? why do you need one#single thing to know exactly who I am? wouldn’t you get me better if you spent a day with me instead?#I can’t remember everything of importance to me. not all in one single moment. if I went through my playlists and told you what songs I love#and why. what books I love and why. what anything I love and why. you’d find that I’m a bit undefined. I’m an artist and a creator. strong#yet weak imagination. sometimes think better in the abstract and other times do better with what’s set in stone#I love sharing things with people. I wish people would engage more with what I share sometimes. but I never hold it against em or hate them#if they don’t haha. often I feel down when ppl don’t engage with what I share. I know people aren’t obligated to do things but. yknow. it’s#my heart in a platter. splayed our for everyone. bits of me I want to share. what I want people to see. I’ve sat down with people to share#music I like. one friend said a song I like was scary. some people make faces at what I play. some have paid it no mind at all. they don’t#even know how important to me sharing something like that is. hell. how important me sharing ANYTHING is. it’s so easy to hide away#everything about myself. yet here I am trying my hardest to open myself up. yea. wish I was able to connect with someone like that#in person I mean. I guess. I just want to lay down with someone and play music we love. explain why we love it. or try to understand why#idk I’m getting rambly. I just want to do new things forever. and relive the first time everytime#this isn’t a vent or anything. just thinking and writing as I do. typing helps me to keep my mind on track. a bit at least. as much as one#with a brain like mine can havagahhaga. I wonder if anyone actually reads through my tag rambles in their entirety. I know it looks daunting#so I don’t blame you if you can’t or don’t feel like it. it won’t kill me if my words are lost in the void#haha anyways yea :> thinking lots

pardon my one teeny grammatical error? alls i’m saying is that she is alive. it is weird to analyze her art as her life any way you slice it. it’s all the same at it’s core because she is alive and can read and be impacted by such peering analyses. the exceptionalism is remarkable but expected and you can act all high and mighty nose in the air and try to intellectualize as you like and continue to fail to recognize that regardless of her actions in maybe promoting such behaviour you are still essentially doing the same darn thing
oh no i definitely forgot some commas and don’t use capital letters because none of that shit even matters on tumblr dot come. i guess i’ll be dismissed again 💨
It actually is different anon and you clearly cannot grasp that. Taylor’s art is directly pulled from her life; you cannot divorce the two because they are so heavily intertwined, so discussing one will inherently involve the other. I’m not going to attempt to converse with you if you can’t understand one of the most fundamental aspects of engaging with art.

Hello Neil, my name is Zalean. If you have a few minutes, I wanted to tell you a little story. Not really a question and I’m not sure how to use tumblr but I wanted to say thanks so much for coming to Florida a few months back and talking with Art Spiegelman. It was my first time ever figuring out how to buy tickets for something. I lived in, middle of nowhere, Vermont for most my life and had no idea what I was doing, I had never been to anything before, nothing had made me excited enough to do the 5 hour drive. And then you just appeared 20 minutes away from where I am living now.
See, I was just starting to get to know your books and work because I fell in love with Good Omens so deeply when I discovered it during season twos release. Funny thing is, I knew of you all along without even realizing it, Stardust has been my favorite book and movie since I was a kid because it was my dad’s favorite story. Finding out my two favorite things were actually connected, I started trying to get hands on as many of your books as I could. I hadn’t read in years before finding your books. It was eye opening.
The talk event at the Dr.Phillips Center was sold out by the time I knew about it, someone had asked me if I knew of the event when they saw my Good Omens keychains my mom had made me. I called the box office because there is no harm in asking. I explained how I’m an art student at UCF and desperately wanted to be inspired and learn from you both. The customer service people were amazing and ended up calling me back to get me a seat in the orchestra pit before they were released to the public. I drove alone, I walked there alone, I sat alone, and it was worth it. I was so thankful to get a seat and grateful to my professor who was a bit jealous he didn’t know about it but let me leave class early to go because of course the art professor would be understanding for any learning opportunities in the arts. And it was truly wonderful, it seemed real and that’s what I wanted. I didn’t want a show. I just wanted to hear, in some sense, that you were like everybody else. I brought a notebook and pen for any information or story’s that I thought made a difference to my little life. The other people around were wonderful, you inspire kind people.
Like I said, I had never been to anything like this and I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t know you would have signed books and I only found out because the people next to me came in late. I asked them why they brought the books after it was over and the lights turned on. They did look at me like I had three heads for a moment until they realized I didn’t know there were books to buy, they looked kinda sorry for me but they were so nice. I had never really thought about the importance of someone’s scribble before this but it’s something that proves you were there. It says “Remember when this person made you happy? Remember when they changed your life? Remember when they gave you hope? Look at this and remember.” I hope to see David Tennant and Michael Sheen to get an autograph now that I understand the meaning behind it a bit more but honestly I just love diving into everyone’s projects, the wonder you all create. Oh what fun it is to live a life full of stories!
The people that were sitting next to me let me look at their signed books and hold them. I flipped through some of the big ones, handed them back and expressed my gratitude just to be in the theater. I showed them all my little quotes I wrote down, I never want to forget why I create things and you say so much about never stopping, always creating. Then the women handed me a different book, a smaller book, but when I tried to hand it back, a bit confused, she softly placed it back in my open hands and said “I want you to have it, we have plenty and I want you to love these stories just as much as we do. It’s just starting for you, I want you to remember who started it”. The book she handed me being“The Ocean at the End of the Lane”. The first book I decided to read by you and had just finished a week before. The women had no idea she given me a signed copy of the book that made me want to read again. Your books make the world better. For such a big theater and such a big stage, I just wanted to tell you my little point of view.
The story you told about wishing you enjoyed the past more than you did, I hope you get to enjoy it now, and I hope you want to. And thank you, to you and to Terry Pratchett for creating something special. I convinced my dad to watch Good Omens with me over December break, he loved it.
I forget sometimes that everything is someone's first time, and then I read something like this and feel like I need to remember that better. I'm glad the people beside you were kind.

Creator Spotlight: @jdebbiel
Deb JJ Lee is a non-binary Korean artist based in Brooklyn, NY. They have appeared in the New Yorker, New York Times, NPR, Google, Radiolab, and more. Their award-winning graphic memoir, IN LIMBO, about mental illness and difficult relationships with trauma, released in March 2023 from First Second.
Below is our interview with Deb!
Have you ever had an art block? If so, how did you overcome it?
That implies I am over my art block, but I’m still in it! I think about Kiki’s Delivery Service a lot and how she had to stop doing a thing, and that you can’t really force it, and you have to let it come back to you. It’s a pretty humbling moment, realizing there is more to life than just drawing. I’ve been trying to consume other content like reading or watching movies—anything that is not drawing-related—and to trust that it will come back to me. I think not being afraid to do the small pieces before committing to the big pieces is helpful. Because big pieces are what I am known for, I dig myself into a deeper hole, thinking that each piece has to be bigger than the last one. So yeah! Relaxing and doing the small things before overcommitting to a big piece is the best way to go about it for me.
Which 3 famous artists (dead or alive) would you invite to your dinner party?
I feel like these are all artists that I have second-degree connections with! Jillian Tamaki, Victo Ngai, and Tillie Walden would be my picks!
What are your file name conventions?
…What file name conventions? I mean, I don’t have specific file name conventions, but I actually have a public Google Drive archive! But I usually put “djjl_whatever-the-title-is_final,” and I would always know it’s the final and legit version.
What is a recent creative project that you are proud of?
I did an illustration for the whiskey brand Johnnie Walker. It’s so wild because I only had four days to finish it, and it usually takes me a week and a half if I rush. And honestly, it’s probably one of my best pieces from this year, which is funny. It was for the Mid-Autumn festival, so I made it as Korean as possible.
How has technology changed the way you approach your work?
I only use my iPad to draw everything now, and if I want to pretend that I have a steady workstation, I’ll use my Cintiq. I still am not as comfortable on the Cintiq as I am on Procreate, but it’s still pretty solid and nice. That’s the good part about technology. The bad part about technology is how AI art has been messing things up for me. I’m currently in a lawsuit about AI art as a class rep. Some of my stuff got turned into AI art late last year, so I have to give a deposition at some point.
What is a convention experience that has stuck with you?
Honestly, they’re all good! I feel like Lightbox Expo has been really nice because it’s truly been a convention for artists. I feel like that’s where most of my audience is, and they’re all around because their purpose is to be better at art. That’s where a lot of original artists do well because they’re getting art they’re inspired by, not so much fanart. I like the Lightbox Expo because it encompasses the pure love of art very well.
Top tips on setting up an Artist Alley booth?
Use a Y axis, not just your X axis! Take advantage of it! Branding is also something to think about. It is definitely something I’m getting better at. Having an assistant is also very important. I’ve also heard that 8.5x11 to 12x18 inches is usually a good size for prints, but I also provide postcard-sized prints because sometimes people don’t want to commit to a larger size.
Who on Tumblr inspires you and why?
You know this is so funny. I’ve been following @alicexz for over a decade on Tumblr and other platforms. I’ve followed her work since high school, and we’ve only recently become peers. I found her, and we met for the first time in real life, and she recognized me. And then I found all my drawings from when I was in my Alice phase, back in high school, and I was like, “Yo, this is when I was trying to be you so badly!” and she was cracking up and was like “Wow, this is so good!” It was such a sweet moment. I wanted to take a picture of her holding my drawing up. It’s really nice because now we’re peers.
Thank you so much for stopping by and sharing, Deb! Be sure to check out their Tumblr blog over at @jdebbiel.

if you have strong mutable (gemini, sagittarius, pisces, virgo) placements then you NEED to write things down if you don't already. all those thoughts that constantly swirl in your head: the frequent tasks, goals, feelings, aspirations, opinions, etc - WRITE THEM DOWN. this is not only therapeutic & stress-relieving for you but almost necessary, or you're going to burn out and overload your own mind constantly.
when you bottle, or when you let plans, goals, dreams, to-do lists, projects, etc live solely in your head - you'll notice you can't sleep as well, it's harder to rest, your memory gets more foggy than usual, you feel burnt out and unable to connect, etc. specifically:
write down your feelings. this will be your ultimate (free) therapy. start to journal, write a diary. make a private twitter/tumblr where you spill your feelings, frustrations, thoughts. you will feel an immense sense of relief by writing or typing your feelings out - even if no one is reading it but you. mutable moons especially. our feelings tend to change rapidly, but it doesn't make them less valid. don't bottle out of the fear your feelings will change/you'll just "get over it"!! write it down and let it out!!
write! to-do! lists!!!!! these don't have to be for important things. you want to learn digital art? you want to study coding? you want to learn french? you want to re-decorate? you probably have a billion things you want to do, and then you get overwhelmed by the options, and do nothing. write down all the things you want to do. make a to-do list for these things. get them out of your head and somewhere permanent/physical. looking at the options in front of you will feel much easier.
make excel project trackers (you can even make these for to-do list items/goals/etc)! mutable placements have a tendency to start a lot of projects or tasks, and never finish any of them. make a simple tracker for all the projects you start. you won't forget what you're working on, and you'll be less overwhelmed trying to remember what you have going on (example of the one i always use pictured below)
Tumblr media
talking out your thoughts and feelings is also very cathartic. make fake (or real, i support u!) youtube vlogs where you spill your feelings and talk about your plans, your day, what you have to do, etc. talk to someone you love and trust, vent to them about how things are; or about what you're getting up to. i find writing has an edge, because you can go back to it for reference (mutables tend to forget things easily) - but as long as you're getting the swirl of your mind somewhere outside of your head, you'll feel so, so much less stressed.
mutable dominants tend to constantly live in go-mode, we're restless and always doing something. we feel uncomfortable and sometimes guilty about staying still. our minds don't ever shut off. it's very important for mutable placements to learn how to rest, be present in the moment, and learn grounding. this can be done in many ways, but i've found personally that writing works best for me. other helpful practices can be: talk therapy, acceptance theory, yoga, meditation, hiking, camping, etc.
i also want to remind mutable signs: we change a lot. we have a lot of ideas. there's so much we want to do. we often feel like we have no path, no big goal; we can struggle with purpose as we don't often aspire for permanent things or "one big goal". this is NOT bad. there is nothing wrong with changing your feelings, your mind, your goals, your life path. you CAN do all the things you want to do! you have your entire life ahead of you! yes, you can learn all those languages. yes, you can have three different careers in your life. yes yes yes! don't listen to negativity from others. don't beat yourself up for not having one big goal like some people around you might. cherish and embrace all the things you want to achieve and complete (both big and small). learn to follow-through with and finish the things that matter to you (writing things down will really help with this, make action plans/steps - break everything down into smaller pieces). take the time to slow down and enjoy the moments as they come. you got this!

the art of conversation (from a professional yapper)⋆.ೃ࿔*:・🍉
Tumblr media
just wanted to preface this by saying that NOT everyone is extremely sociable and thats totally okay. this post is to help improve ur conversational skills and charisma ✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
WHY LEARNING TO BE SOCIAL IS IMPORTANT ;
social skills are literally the FOUNDATION of effective communication. its important bcuz it allows u to build meaningful relationships, express urself, collaborate with others etc.
when ur learn how to be an effective communicator u can connect more deeply with the people around u. being more social can also provide u with opportunities, and in general make ur life SO much easier. not to mention u have a lot more fun.
SUPERIORITY/INFERIORITY COMPLEX ;
an inferiority complex is the feeling of inadequacy, an insecurity that ur not on the same level as someone else. a superiority complex is the opposite, u can come off as smug or condescending. both are bad in their own right.
the way that u can combat this is by adopting the mindset that you are neither below or above anyone else, and no one else is above or below you.
doing so can kind of even the playing field of conversation in ur mind and make sure that ur not feeling some kind of way before going into a conversation bcuz when u let ur superiority/inferiority complex go by un-fixed it can sabotage communication and not give ppl the change to get to know u.
UNLEARN SHAME ;
first u gotta start off with thinking about ways that shame has influenced ur thoughts or actions. an example that im sure a lot of us could relate to is the whole cringe concept.
to help unlearn shame i recommend journalling, therapy, and mindfulness so that then u can let urself ENJOY things again, without having the looming fear of the judgement of others.
also no genuinely happy person is going to take time out of their day to shame u, only a loser would do that. and if ur the one shaming others for liking something bcuz of ur own insecurity, get that fixed and get a life.
PREPPING FOR CONVERSATION ;
when approaching someone or starting conversation with someone for the first time, a rly good way to start it is with a compliment. dont start it by saying hi cuz i think thats so awkward 😭
compliment them for something, their response can also tell u a lot about them also bcuz some ppl will take the compliment well and some ppl will serve u a dirty look and that alone can tell u if u rly wanna be conversing with that person.
LEARN TO LAUGH ;
since we've already talked about why learning to not feel embarrassed about every little thing is important, here's what to do when something like that comes up. literally laugh.
for example the other day someone whom i've never spoken to before came up to me and started talking to me so familiarly, like with their arm around me and everything and i just went with it 💀 until he noticed that he had mistaked me for someone else, but its okay cuz now i have a new friend. LAUGH ABOUT IT.
dont take everything so seriously, being able to enjoy and take a joke is what makes conversation so much fun. note, do NOT mistake taking a joke as taking disrespect bcuz u should not take that, there is a distinct difference.
the biggest advice i can give as a yapper is to be more lighthearted and not take everything seriously. bcuz i feel like when we take everything so seriously we become rigid and thats not hot, be a breath of fresh air instead ✨

VENUS IN THE HOUSES
The sign of your Venus & aspects to Venus are not taken into consideration in this post.
How to attract the Venus signs
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Venus in the 1st house
These people attract a lot of luck in their lives because of how likeable they are. Everything from friends, partners, jobs just seems to come naturally to these people. Other people are envious of their lives because they seem to just have it all. No matter how jealous they make people they wont be hated because their haters can sense that everyone will be on the venusian persons side. Social and charming. They make sure to not butt heads with the wrong people. They know how important it is to be well liked and what gifts it will bring them. Physically these people have symmetric faces and very good looking bodies. The fat on their bodies is evenly distributed making them look good. The facial features just seem to melt together perfectly creating a look that everyone will find attractive. They usually fit the beauty standard of the country they live in. Whatever they lack physically will be made up for with the right makeup and clothes. They have a friendly look to the face making them very approachable which adds to their popularity and gives them huge ammounts of social connections. The outer corners of their lips are usually upturned making them look like they are always smiling. They usually have dimples either on their cheeks, or lower back to show a proof of symmetry for potential mates that says ”Look i have good genes, procreate with me Im balanced and make symmetric babies!” The dark side of this placement is that there can be an almost obsessive need to be well liked by people. These people can be the first one you call when you need help with something because they will say yes, especially when it comes to people who can help them look good or are well connected. Remember that Venus wasnt that innocent.
Venus in the 2nd house
People with this placement can have a very sweet and seductive voice that can be almost hypnotizing. Some of these people also have the habit of making their voices softer than it already is on purpose because Venus is how we charm and how we get away with stuff. People with Venus in the 2nd house knows how to seduce by using their magic hands and their magic voices, especially when they are being confronted. This is a very sensual house and people with Venus here loves to indulge. They value everything that feels, looks and smells good. They love stuff like jewelry, expensive restaurants, expensive parfumes, spas, 5 star hotels, art and they have excellent taste in all of those things. 2nd house is also the house of finances and Venus will definitely bless these people here. This placement is very common among child actors, politicians and royalty. So basically its common in the charts of people who never even experienced poverty and who comes from a bloodline of rich people. Its a typical ”old money” placement. North West for example got this placement and she was born to two extremely rich parents. Physically this gives a stunning face, especially the eyes, lips and chin will be gorgeous. Look at for example Olivia Hussey, Jessica Biel and Kelly Rowland who all 3 got Venus in the 2nd house and their faces really stand out. This is a fixed house and also the house of moral values so these people have very strong sense of moral values that they wont go against. They are extremely loyal and will leave instantly if betrayed because these people dont play when it comes to their self worth. You will have to treat them just as good as they treat themselves or they will leave.
Venus in the 3rd house
These people are really good at giving compliments and showing their appreciation which is why they are so well liked. There can be a fixation with talking here. Like the people with this placement can feel a need to ALWAYS have some kind of communication going on, they could be on the phone 24/7 or just message people about random stuff to have some kind of interaction going on. Mental stimulation is very important here. They love using fancy words and they are very tactful. They can find it hard to talk back aggressively so they prefer to say something witty back instead of screaming. Britney Spears have this placement and even when she was screaming at paparazzi who stalked her she was being nice. In a lot of the worst paparazzi videos on Britney she says stuff like ”Leave me alone sir” which shows that no matter how angry she is politeness is still important. These people have their own signature way of talking they might for example have a unique little laugh that always comes out after they said something. They are good at writing because they have such an amazing imagination. Very good at presenting themselves, especially in professional settings since they are so good at small talk. They are so good at mingling. They looove to come up with nicknames for people or call their partner stuff like ”honeyboo” and ”cutie”. They are usually well known and very well liked in the neighborhood they grew up in. The girl next door. The popular girl at school. Their siblings are well known and probably good looking. This placement is common in that cocky kid at school who everyone wants to beat up but they cant because everyone know who his big brother is. The negative side of this aspect is that less kind people around them notice how much these people dislike to be rude and talk back which leads to bitter people taking out their anger on them. If this placement is badly aspected it can lead to obsessive gossiping and obsessive communication that can become very annoying for people close to them. These people usually have gorgeous naturally wellshaped arms and beautiful hands.
Venus in the 4th house
These people have a very beautiful relationship to their mothers. The mother is usually beautiful and kind. This aspect is common in people who are the first child who was the family blessing but its also common in the youngest child who becomes the family sweetheart. Anyways these people have a special role in the family. These people can be the first one to do something good for the family. For example they could be the first one to get an education or the first to move from the country. The first one to break a generational curse. Kamala Harris got this placement and she is the first female vice president which will definitely be good for her children and grandchildren. This will bless her family for generations to come. These people usually come from a bloodline of beautiful women. Their bloodline could even be royal. King Charles the 3rd have this placement and he is the longest-serving heir apparent in British history. These people value their home a lot and its important for them to have a beautiful home. They are prepared to spend a little extra on beautiful furniture. Their homes are beautiful and luxurious with a lot of scented candles and cozy blankets. People with this placement have a warm motherly aura surrounding them. Children are very drawn to them. These people might be kind, nurturing and willing to do anything to help a friend in trouble but dont betray them or mess with their family because they are protectors. The negative side of this placement is that there is a risk here to value tradition and culture a little too much. A lot of patriots have this placement. You know the kind of annoying people whos whole personality revolve around them being from a certain country/area, yeah those people are likely to have this placement.
Venus in the 5th house
These people have an aura around them that screams STAR. These are people who have that IT image. People cant help but admire these people just look at Naomi Campbell, Megan Fox, Eva Longoria, Janet Jackson, Alexa Demie, Megan Fox who all have this placement. The list of influential people with this placement is sooo long. These people have a unique sense of fantasy and style and thats what makes them the best artists in the world. Everything from the way they talk to the way they walk screams confidence and pride. These people if they have children will have a lot of them. These are the kind of people who have like 10 children. They usually have a very good relationships to their children. The first child is almost always a Venusian. And if one of your parents have this placement then lucky you because then you are probably gorgeous. Ive noticed that a lot of men with this placement get babytrapped by women they are not interested in (their own fault tho, nobody forced them to sleep around) and have a lot of different babymamas. These people are usually very much into music and art. They want everything around them to be attention grabbing. They have the most expensive car in the neighbourhood, the hottest partner, the most expensive watch. They need to show whos the king of the jungle. They need a good looking partner, this is the house of Leo afterall. They find confidence extremely attractive and they love a partner with beautiful hair/beard. One downside to this placement is that these people come off as way more flirtatious than they really are which can make a lot of people think that the Venus 5th house person is interested in them which leads to a lot of drama and conflict between them and their current partner.
Venus in the 6th house
These people are very ambitious and dedicated. Not because they want luxury or status but because they want to have a comfortable daily life. These people usually live very comfortable lifes too. They are very well liked by bosses and colleagues. People with Venus in the 6th house are very health orienten and into fitness. They really do treat their body as their temple. The way their body look is very important for them and if badly aspected they could go so far as to get plastic surfery. Lollo Ferrari the woman with the lagrets breasts in the world have this placement. Most of them dont go that far tho because these people want to be natural. They work out and eat well. There is a natural and glowy beauty to them. There is a beauty and sophistication with these people that is incredibly attractive and makes people feel like these people are very important but it can also make them come across as arrogant. They look really good without doing much and their bodies are gorgeous and so captivating. These people also look incredible in any kind of uniform. They are very interested in nutrition, gym, yoga and diets. A lot of vegetarians and vegans have this placement and so do a lot of athletes. They need to feel productive which is why they always got some kind of project going on. This is the house of Virgo so these people can be kinda judgmental but not in a mean way. This is because they see instantly what needs to be fixed. They need to understand that most people wont appreciate their advice. These people can be very picky with everything from food to clothes, they need perfection.
Venus in the 7th house
These people are incredibly socially aware and possess social skills that will charm anyone. This is something that just comes naturally for them they dont even have to fake it. They are usually very popular and have a lot of contacts. This is the kind of person who everybody in their hometown knows who they are. This can sometimes become too much for them. They love to connect with people and they take good care of their relationship but sometimes this ”fame” and having to constantly be on their best behaviour can become too much. They know that they are expected to be the kind one, the one who solves and doesnt get angry and this puts pressure on them. This is why its common for these people to actually move from their hometown at some point. These people will get the person they want because they are seen as wifey/husband material. People around them can get shocked over how easy these people attract partnerships, they were just going to the store to buy some milk and comes back with 5 new contacts in their phone. These people prefer to be in a relationship. They feel like they need their other half. They prefer to do stuff with company than doing it alone. These people love everything beautiful especially clothes, art and homedecor. They want to be surrounding by beauty. They also want a goodlooking partner but not to show off but because beauty makes them feel comfortable. If Venus is aspected in this house it can make the person very vain and judgmental tho. The downside to this placement is that they value peace and harmony so much that they might have a hard time standing up for themselves. This can lead to them holding grudges over stuff they never confronted their partner for. Physically these people are almost always attractive and if they arent people wont notice anyways because thats the kind of charm they possess. Just like with Venus in the 1st house they seem to always be smiling.
Venus in the 8th house
This placement can bring great insecurities to the person because they dont see their own beauty and charm, its like the 8th house is hiding it from them and making it visible only to everybody else. They notice how mesmerized people are by them but they just cant see it themselves. A lot of these peoples insecurities comes from envious people who have been making mean comments trying to humle them. Remember that the 8th house shows obsession so people are completely taken by these peoples appearances. Someone close to the family, a relative or even a parent was probably obsessed with the way they look when they were just a child. This placement is common in children who had parents who got them into childmodeling or beauty pageants. Other people noticed your appearance before you did and you never stood a chance against the envy and hate thrown at you. There is a depth to their personality and they have a deep understanding for others. These people were often hurt early in life by someone they loved which made them feel an obsession with control. The 8th house is the house of others people money and these people are incredibly lucky here. They attract A LOT from others. It doesnt have to be cash it can be gifts, rides, meals anything expensive. People want to give them stuff. There is a huge chance or of getting an inheritance from a husband or from someone in their family. They attract rich and successful people. Physically there is something very mysterious about the face here, especially the eyes and the lips will be so seductive that people cant help but stare in awe. They possess a magic sex appeal and they put a spell on everyone they meet. The dark side to this placement is that they attract a lot of secret admirers and attention from the wrong people. Most people with this placement have had a stalker at some point in their life. The stalking seems to most times be sexually motivated. They also attract people who envy them and wants to take from them.
Venus in the 9th house
These people are very interested in art, fashion and movies from other cultures than their own. We can see this placement in for example the chart of Kim Kardashian who have been appropriating other cultures for years. Ofc not everyone with Venus in the 9th house will be like this but it can happen if Venus is afflicted. They love to travel and they love adventure. This love for adventure can sometimes put them in risky situations because these people can be very reckless when it comes to having fun. These people can feel a strong need to move away from their hometown or even from their homecountry. They are not afraid of change at all infact they are the opposite, they want change and excitement. These people love to learn and a lot of them are very well educated. They take great pride in their intelligence. They have strong opinions that they are not afraid to share. Sometimes when they share these opinions they can sound very preachy and arrogant. They are drawn to religion and history. This is a common placement in people who at some point convert to a different religion. These people have an incredible sense of humour since this is the house of Jupiter. They are naturally funny without even trying and can be very clumsy. They are easy to be around because they dont take themselves too seriosuly and they are super down to earth. One downside to this placement is that other people can make way to much of a deal about their cultural background and they might be fetishized. Jessica Alba got this placement and she talks in a lot of interviews about how they wanted her to play a stereotype of latinas and that for years she was only seen as ”the latina” and was fetishized by men in Hollywood. She was also told that she couldnt be the main star in a lot of movies because that role was for someone whos more european looking.
Venus in the 10th house
These people are seen as very professional and respectable. No matter what they actually do behind the scenes there is something about them that makes people think highly of them. Usually very well connected. You just cant help but envy them because they seem to have it all, they make sure to be seen this way too. These people take their reputation very seriously. If you talk badly about them or make them look bad infront of others you will have to pay. These people need to look good even going to the neighborhood store because they want to always be seen at their best. The annoying part of this placement is that other people are so invested in their relationships. These people are picky and want people with a good reputation just like them which leads to them most times dating someone well known in their community or just someone whos very good looking. Because of this they attract a lot of attention. People can be obsessed or even fixated with these peoples relationships. Their relationship drama have a tendency to become very public. Look at for example Johnny Depp, Kanye West and Victoria Beckham they all have this placement and they all date well known good looking people but it comes with a price. The downside to this placement is that their life can become too much about reputation, work and material gain that they forget to enjoy life. This also happens in their relationships, they look for a partner that makes them LOOK good instead of going for someone that makes them FEEL good which they regret when they get older. There is also a tendency here to think that people are watching every step and therefore they are deadly afraid of doing something embarrassing. Physically these people usually have gorgeous hair, skin and gorgeous bone structure. Their bodies are usually blessed by Venus too.
Venus in the 11th house
This aspect is really good for people who are a part of anything organized and that involves a lot of people. Its a good aspect for criminals since this guarantees a high position in the gang and loyal members. For example Pablo Escobar who was the leader of the Medellin Cartel which is considered the first major drug cartel. He easily became reapected and seen as a leader. This is a typical ”Regina George” aspect. These people are incredibly talented when it comes to all subjects that are considered taboo or odd for example Astrologer Liz Greene. These people are incredibly intelligent and good at thinking outside of the box. Friendships is very important for them and they want their relationships to feel a like a friendship too, to be romantically involved with these people they will want you to be their friend first of all. The 11th house also rules social media and these people can quickly become very popular here. These are the kind of people who reach overnight success or go viral because of some video they posted. Its a perfect influencer placement, especially since they are so good at coming up with new ideas and knows how to be steps ahead of the rest of society when it comes to fashion. These people value originality and this can be seen by how they dress. They usually have their own style because expressing themselves is so important for these people. The downside of this placement is that being unique can become almost like an obsession. These people have a very logical mind and they detach emotionally easily when needed. They need space and freedom and they wont be with someone whos too clingy. These people are usually humanitarian and fight hard to change the world for the better. A lot of protestors have this placement. These people are extremely needed in society.
Venus in the 12th house
These people are very well behaved and socially appropriate. They behave like angels and they look like angels too. There is a glowy and magical aura surrounding them almost like a halo. The eyes are usually glossy and the skin got a dewy look. They are super cute. There is a sense of mystery to the way they dress and look that makes them hard to read and figure out. These people have so much feelings and can be oversensitive because they feel the feelings of everyone around them. They are very good at putting themselves in other peoples shoes. There is humbleness about them that is incredibly attractive. This is unfortunately why they attract a lot of bad people tho. They attract people who need their healing touch but doesnt want to give anything back. These people give and give until they have nothing left. They forgive too easily. People want all this glory and goodness for themselves. Everyone can see that they are kind and naive, its written all over their face. These people have the habit of getting involved in secret relationships with unreliable people who could even use them. They have psychic abilities and are drawn to spirituality, tarot and astrology. They also use their psychic powers in their relationships. These people can feel what their partner wants and need. For example they see a hot person that they have never seen before and they intuitively know how to act to attract This person. This can be seen by others as them being deeply manipulative but they just can help themselves, they are chameleons. Their partners can also become disappointed when they find out the Venus 12th house person were not liked they seemed.

buckaroo chorus
finished important final pass of BURY YOUR GAYS and that is a scary time as writer. imagine thinking 'every single word of this is going to be REPEATED in books and ebooks IT BETTER BE CORRECT.’ but then i remind myself there is no correct in art and there is certainly no perfect
art is not about capturing PERFECTION it is about capturing HONESTY OF A MOMENT. because perfection does not exist but raw honesty and connection to this ever passing timeline does. we are here grabbing life out of the stream and holding it in our hands to cry out I WAS HERE
and i will say confidently that, if nothing else, BURY YOUR GAYS kicks open the door and says I WAS HERE. it takes this moment on our timeline and reflects it back with enough heart and honesty and raw expression of a queer experience, and an ARTIST experience, that it scares me
so i guess that fear is ok. BEING THAT RAW IS SCARY. REVEALING THAT MUCH OF YOURSELF IS SCARY. but that is also what creation and art is all about. and now i am no longer scared because i know i have you buckaroos out here who love and support me and are excited to listen
but the message here isnt about ME and my work. it is about US. it is about how YOU also have a story that is deep inside and it might be frightening to express, because it is not perfect, but BUD I AM TELLING YOU IT IS NEVER PERFECT which means in its own way that is ALWAYS IS
and you might think ‘well nobody wants to hear my story it is not important to this timeline’ but BUCKAROO these stories ARE ALL THERE IS. EVERY MOMENT AND PERSPECTIVE TUMBLING OVER EACH OTHER IN A BEAUTIFUL MESS JUST WAITING FOR YOUR VOICE
so add that voice to the mix. im on the verge of adding another bit of mine with BURY YOUR GAYS and i want us to trot here together in big chorus chanting: ‘this is my way. this is OUR way’. we will be here to catch each other when it gets scary because raising voices is worth it
the rallying cry is simple: CREATE. BUILD. EXPRESS. CONQUER THE LYING VOICE THAT SAYS YOUR TECHNICAL PERFECTION IS BETTER THAN TRUTH OF THE MOMENT. FILL THE VOID WITH ART and do not fear because weve got your back buckaroo. we are ALL creators in our own way so LETS HECKIN CREATE
https://tornightfire.com/catalog/bury-your-gays-chuck-tingle/ here is where my voice will be soon. cant wait to hear yours too bud
