i have this idea that, when you were both still human, alastor married you for a marriage of convenience (probably tax purposes). he's not one for love, but he does quite like to make things easier for himself, as well as a bit of reliable companionship from someone he can trust. he found it rather cute that you were head over heels in love with him.

he insists upon keeping you at his side almost 24/7. you accompany him everywhere; to his station while he's broadcasting, about town as he runs his errands, even to his overlord meetings, though you are forced to wait outside. he knows you won't up and disappear; even if you weren't such a good little pet, there isn't anywhere you could run that he couldn't find you.

the other overlords tease alastor about his little 'pet' he keeps on such a tight leash. he doesn't ever object to this title.

gives you dancing lessons and doesn't allow you to rest until you can copy his movements exactly. if you collapse from exhaustion before that, he'll coo and brush your hair out of the way, then haul you to your feet and start again from the beginning.

he won't have you doing much other than keeping your shared home clean and occasionally cooking a meal or two. you're his darling, he can't have you wearing yourself out taking care of him. he'll do most everything - he just wants you to sit there and look pretty for him.

won't allow you to leave the table until you finish the meals he makes for you.

loves to have you hanging on his arm. you're like a precious little trophy for him to show off - only his, and no one else's.

being alastor's beloved companion makes you a prime target for blackmail and kidnappers, but he doesn't want you to fret, dear - he has it covered. his shadows are on your trail in the extremely rare occasion he's not with you, and he's killed demons for less than even looking your way.

doesn't allow any kind of modern technology inside his home or upon your person, even if you died long after him. he considers cellphones to be the property of his enemies, and you wouldn't want him to catch you wearing the symbol of the v's, now, would you?

he picks out your outfits for each day, even has them custom made at the tailor's just for you. he knows best, darling, so don't fight him on this. he doesn't want you going out looking like some common harlot, not when you belong to the radio demon.

often takes out his frustrations of the day on you at night when you're alone in his bedroom. he bites and scratches and thrashes like a beast trapped in a snare, and he relishes in having you wear the marks when he's done.

his favorite position to have you in is plain old missionary; not only is it traditional, but he enjoys having complete control over you while he bucks up into your heat.

like most animal-based demons in hell, he enters a rut once a month and rarely emerges from his quarters; which means you don't, either. at least three times a day, and he only stops to give you rest and to whisper the filthiest things you've ever heard in your ear.

enjoys bondage to an extent, but only on you. he's not opposed to pretty little collars wrapped around your neck, either.

now, when you're in the mood and he's not, he's not totally cruel. while he won't fuck you when and wherever, he'll allow you to straddle his thigh and hump his leg like an animal while he continues whatever work he was doing before.

he may often be brutal, he knows aftercare is extremely important. he can't leave his darling bruised and broken for next time, can he? licks up any blood he may have drawn and ensures you drink when you're done, even if he has to hold your back against his chest and tip your chin up to force the water down your throat. he'll usually run you a bath and, surprisingly, will gently bathe you before dressing you in the finest bedroom silks in hell and putting you to bed.

he doesn't sleep much, but since meeting you, he's replaced many of his nighttime activities with sitting at the side of your bed and watching you sleep.

God. So I've been thinking about BBC's Arthur Pendragon. I work a job heavy on the manual labour and light on the mental labour, so I have a lot of Free Brain Space.

But I started off wondering why there are so many fics about Arthur learning how much Merlin does for him, and so few of the reverse. Because there is no way that Merlin isn't in trouble 89.2% of the time, in some way or another. We see Arthur protect Merlin after his dumbass confession to Uther, and also bodily haul him out of the throne room for safety reasons. No body else could get away with stealing the Prince's food, or disappear or days and keep his job!! And Arthur doesn'teven know they're bound by destiny, he just really likes Merlin! He's just some guy Arthur found and chased around a market.

And then I remembered that so many people forget that Arthur Pendragon is fundamentally A Good Man. I know the show refused to give him permanent character development, but even his base character is a good guy! The most assholish thing we see him do is in the first episode, throwing things at the servants. And then, compared to the rest of the series, that feels very out of character!

Yes, Arthur uses Merlin as a training dummy, but I'm sure that's just to get him to quit. And it's only shown early in the first season. Arthur is consistently shown as caring for his people (refusing to enforce Catrina's tax increase, willing to die to fix his unicorn mistake), more fair about magic users despite only seeing it used for evil (saving Mordred and the woman who gave him the Horn of Cathbhadh. He even tries to give Kara an out, for Mordred!), and cares deeply for those around him! He loves Gwen. He loves Morgana. He loves Merlin. He loves his knights. He even loves Uther!

It's not his fault that the people around him refuse to allow him to make his own choices. Gauis, Uther, and Merlin all lie about his mother. Merlin and Morgana don't tell him about their magic. Morgana doesn't see him as any other than an extension of Uther, despite knowing him for years.I t's so easy to judge him as an outsider with all the facts, but we should remember that Arthur's is intentionally left out of the loop and judge him from that perspective. He does the best he can, with what he knows!

Merlin, despite being repeatedly told that he and Arthur are in this together, and need each other, does not tell Arthur anything! Arthur is not allowed to make an informed choice and he shouldn't be punished for that. Even when Merlin finally comes clean, Arthur doesn't rage! He's hurt and upset that his "only friend", the "only one [he] can trust" have been lying to his face for a decade, which, understandable, but he chooses Merlin anyway! He wants to be held by Merlin at the end, thanks him, and asks him to stay they same after Arthur's death!! Because he still cares for Merlin!

Arthur Pendragon's character development is stymied at every turn by the show and its writers, but even then they couldn't stop him from being a good man!!

This was more rambling and less coherent than I wanted, but it's been hot out lately and my brain is cooked.

Anyway, I am first and foremost an Arthur Pendragon apologist.

You and Thoma were simply doing work together, handling the Kamisato household together. As you helped Thoma with chores, such as cooking and laundry, your mind was elsewhere.

Of course Thoma noticed this, however, he never got the time to check in on you about it, so he is rather weary behind in his head. Right now he was hanging the laundry outside, while you were inside cleaning the windows.

You were a little distracted today because a lot of things has been happening personally to you, you seemed to have had a bad day. A lot of things were getting to you lately.

You forgot things at home, you were late on paying your taxes and bills, you had to end a friendship with someone who was taking advantage of you, you misplaced your wallet so you can’t buy yourself some lunch, or even groceries. You also came in late, for the first time in your servitude career, you were late. However, since it was a first, you were never scolded.

All these things and misfortunes running through your head, all these overwhelming thoughts, and now overthinking misfortune in the future.

Without realizing, you were already crying, as you had a blank face. You didn’t even fell tears streaming down your cheek. All you felt was anxiety of your failures and your deliberate fuck ups. It hurts. It stings.

All of a sudden, you heard a panicked voice within the right side of you, along with a hand on your arm. "Hey Hey hey! What's going on?! Hey! Look at me!"

You felt a warm hand on your cheek, as you felt it guide you towards a brighter and worried face. It was Thoma's face. He had a panicked expression as he was hurriedly wiping your tears. "What's wrong?"

You heard Thoma whispered to you, as he wrapped his arms around you and rocked you slowly, side to side. "Talk to me, please. I can’t stand to see you like this..."

Kaveh: ─•~❉᯽❉~•──◥◤──•~❉᯽❉~•──◥◤──•~❉᯽❉~•─

You were helping Kaveh with his architect clients. As you were helping him with suggestions. You were holding a book, showing the functionality of buildings and giving ideas to Kaveh.

However, lately, Kaveh as been having a rough time with his works as he was going through an clog. Nothing was coming to him, however, how come you were having ideas, and good ones too? He was the architect, and was the top on in the Akademiya at that.

So, why do you have such good ideas, better than his? Kaveh was getting irritated, of course it's not your fault, it is his own insecurities after all.

Kaveh continued to include some suggestions, but slowly, he would harshly criticize and reject your other simple small suggestions, such as the shape of the windows, or the tiling of the roofing.

You didn’t take it personally, as you knew he was stressed, you know he never meant anything by it. You love Kaveh, he would never hurt you.

You then tried to cheer him up and made a silly suggestion to hopefully cheer him up. You suggested in a silly voice that you should make the whole building blue, a color the client hated.

"Ugh, that is the most stupidest suggestion I have ever heard, don't you read? The client hates blue, if you are going to waste my time with suggestions like these, then go home."

You were taken aback by his small outburst, as he seemed to take that suggestions quite seriously. However, that retaliation stung, it hurt a lot.

You looked at him and closed the book, as you already had tears streaming down your face. You tried your best to not make your voice sound shaken up but failed. "Fine." You said with your voice cracking.

Kaveh immediately turned around and shocked to see your tears. You were usually such a strong person, but that doesn’t excuse him forgetting that you are a human being with emotions just like him. "W-Wait, my love."

You got up and turned your back to him and left his side of the room. You took your jacket and put it on as it was raining outside in Sumeru Forest.

You felt Kaveh grab your hand and stepped in front of you to stop you. "W-Wait, my love, please, I am so sorry, I didn’t make to take my frustrations out on you."

He would pull you into a hug and give you a tight squeeze. He would apologize lovingly, and whisper praises to your ears of how good your suggestions were.

Later, you were on his lap, as he was taking your coat off of your shoulders, shoes and anything else to make you comfortable. He hugged you to him, as he rubbed your back.

You both decided, to drop work for the day, and get dinner together, his treat of course. He gained enough mora from his recent projects thanks to your suggestions so rightfully so, it deserved to be spent on you.

Kaeya ╔═══▣◎▣════╗╔════▣◎▣════╗╔════▣◎▣═══╗

Kaeya is known to often tease you, he just love seeing you blush and pout at him. He likes seeing you get stumbled with his teasing.

He would often tease you just about everything, how cute you are packing up your things, how you can be so clumsy, how you can make a mess while eating. He teases how you take the sheets at night when you guys sleep together.

You honestly didn’t mind it, of course, you had your moments where you teased him back, sometimes it backfired, and sometimes you succeeded. But it was all fun and games. It was all a playful banter.

You were coming back from a quest, as you just cashed in your rewards by Katherine. You were bruised and tired. You just wanted to go home and rest.

Your knees hurt, and your feet hurt more. Maybe a nice hug from Kaeya. You really need some comfort and maybe a space to feel safe enough to unwind from.

You smiled, as you caught up with Kaeya who was waiting for you by the small eating area in Mondstadt and joined him. You told him about your adventures and difficulties and he sat there and listened. "My My, you have had quite the time with those hilichurls huh?" He chuckled.

You smiled, but didn’t give your usual playful reactions, as you were tired to fully react or process his teasings.

Once you stood up, you walked with him, leaving the area, all of a sudden you tripped and fell. You face planted on the ground. You were very embarrassed.

You heard Kaeya chuckling behind you and did his usual tease for when you trip and fall, but this time you were too overwhelmed to take his teasings jokingly.

You began to cry as you were tired and overwhelmed.

Kaeya would immediately stop and looked shocked, as he immediately runs to your side and helped you up. You were crying as you were tired and didn’t want to deal with his teasing. You just wanted to be loved and comforted. Was that so much to ask?

Kaeya had a guilty look on his face, as he kissed your tears away. "My snowflake, I am dearly sorry for my insensitive, I shouldn’t have said that after a hard day..." He cupped your cheek and kissed your cheeks. "Here..let me make up for it, I'll take you home and we can do all your favorite things."

Childe ▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢▢

Childe is very affectionate and loving to you as per usual, he always takes care of you, and overall, he wants to have a big family with you.

Despite Childe having some issues you guys have found ways to manage in and be in a healthy relationship with routine. ( I know, shocking. )

However, of course he does have his urges to fight and get physical with anyone who he sees as strong and powerful.

However, beyond that, Childe comes home and will always welcome you with open arms, loving kisses, and happy affectionate whispers to your neck.

Childe is very dedicated to you as he is happy to prioritize you over anything, no matter how difficult it is for him to do so.

You were having a rough few months, as you kept it to yourself. Of course you didn’t want to worry your beloved, so you kept it a secret. You wanted him to live his happy fairy tail life with you. You wanted him to be happy, afterall, he deserves it.

However, one day, Childe came home early. You usually cry or try and ease your anxieties when he is out, so you can put on your best self when he is home.

You didn’t realize he came home early, as you were in the bedroom, sobbing quietly.

Childe is used to seeing you happy, and bright, but you crying. This was a whole other side to you that he hasn’t witness before.

You felt arms wrapped around you from behind, as you were now sitting in between his legs, on the edge of the bed. "What's the matter?" He said in a soft and gentle voice.

He took his sleeve and wiped your eyes gently.

You shook your head, not wanting to tell him. You didn’t want him to see your face, as you tried and hide it.

All of a sudden, you felt him move, as you felt him suddenly pinned you down against the bed. You looked at him surprised.

"Don't hide such a face from me. I am your lover, I should know all of you. Why are you hiding your troubles from me? You can talk to me, you know that right?"

Childe was above you, hand on your cheek, stroking your face. His knee was in between your legs, as he leaned down and kissed your forehead. "Look at me. Tell me what's going on." He took your chin to make you look at him and focus on him.

You sniffed as you slowly but surely, spilled out your months of troubles to him.

She’s a lot of fun to draw but it also was hard to not cry as I was listening to the audiobook. Like. Holy shit. She— her trauma is so heartbreaking and her just lashing out to Lorelai was so powerful. But at the same time I wanna give her the biggest hug because the fact she had to not only do their taxes, run the shop, and work on evens day but also cook and clean??? Not to mention the fact that her father show little to no care and the neglect. My heart. Like frankly Her and Lorelai’s dad definitely have negative impact on both his daughters as a whole. I’m so happy that Giovanni got her out of that situation. I’m happy her friend try to help. Im happy she stood up to Lorelai. I hope we see more of her journey.

simmisota calendar overview

while i continue to work on more world overviews. i thought it would be cool to share what a calendar year looks like in my simmisota save file. i will continue to update this post as my calendar changes and holidays are added/removed.

in my game there are 21 day seasons, which gives me a total of 84 days in a year. i did my best to find a good balance of having holidays for my sim to celebrate but also having enough free days for my sims to celebrate birthdays, events and just live normal days.

please note: this calendar overview does not reflect any of my sim's personal birthdays, events nor does it reflect any game festivals or events.

let's get into the specific holidays i like to include in my game:

spring overview

spring cleaning: a semi-annual holiday for sims to cleanse their homes and prep for the new season ahead. traditions include: cleaning, do laundry, go grocery shopping.

tax day: a day where sims are required to pay their taxes. i accomplish this by using kiarasims4 tax day mod. traditions include: file tax return.

easter: a religious holiday. traditions include: attend holiday ceremony, baking, egg hunt, family dinner, flower bunny.

self-care day: a day for sims to take off work/school and cater to their mental, physical and spiritual wellness. traditions include: art & music spirit, health & wellness day, massage, meditate, relax in sauna, no school/work.

april fool's day: a day that encourages sims to be silly & have fun. traditions include: ding dong ditch, mischief spirit.

mary jane day: for my sims who enjoy a little flower. traditions include: smoking weed.

earth day: a day for sims to cater to the planet. traditions include: beach cleanup, gardening, volunteer.

mother's day: a day to love & appreciate all the mama sims. tradition's include: family dinner, gift a parent, hug parent, thankful spirirt, no work for women.

world art day: a day to appreciate all forms of the arts. traditions include: art & music spirirt, art exhibition, view art, watch live performance, watch a movie.

remembrance day: a day to reflect, mourn & appreciate loved ones who have passed. traditions include: hug parent, remembrance, thankful spirirt, visit family members.

prom: an event for high school seniors. traditions include: dancing, drinking, visit crush, party spirit.

summer overview

father's day: a day to love & appreciate all the sim daddys. traditions include: family dinner, gift a parent, hug parent, thankful spirirt, no work for men.

senior skip day: a day for high school seniors to ditch school. traditions include: party spirit.

graduation / last day of school: the last day of school for all sims and graduation for high school and college seniors. traditions: include: thankful spirit.

summer vacation: no school for the summer. traditions include: school holidays, water fun, play with toys, games.

simdependence day: traditionally a day to celebrate the history of simmisota and simnation but has become more about fireworks, bbqs & pool parties. traditions include: bbq, drinking, fireworks, go swimming, kiddie pool, no school/work.

1st day of school: marks the return to school for the next school year. traditions include: hug parent, make seasonal craft, read a book, writing skill.

fall overview

fall cleaning: a semi-annual holiday for sims to cleanse their homes and prep for the new season ahead. traditions include: cleaning, do laundry, go grocery shopping.

labor day: a vacation day for all employed sims, in appreciation for all the hard work they do. most sims use it to catch up with friends and go on dates. traditions include chat with someone, romantic spirirt, visit friends, no work.

self-care day: a day for sims to take off work/school and cater to their mental, physical and spiritual wellness. traditions include: bath, cook healthy, do a yoga routine, health & wellness day, meditate, no school/work.

halloween: a spooky holiday where sims enjoy dressing up, eating candy and watching scary movies. traditions include: carve pumpkin, halloween party, haunted house, trick or treat, wear costumes.

homecoming game: the highly anticipated football match between ubrite and foxbury. there are often a ton of college parties before and after the game. traditions include: sports tv, play cards, party spirirt, air grievances.

thanksgiving: a holiday for sims to appreciate their loved ones with a big feast. traditions include: donate, harvestfest, thankful spirirt, grand meal, visit family members, no school/work.

black friday: a capitalist holiday where sims to flock to the stores in search of good deals for the holidays. traditions include: go shopping, no school.

winter overview

winter vacation: a seasonal break in the school year. traditions include: no school.

christmas eve: a day for sims to get into the holiday spirit and prep for christmas day. traditions include: baking, build snowpal, father winter, volunteer, make seasonal craft, no school/work.

christmas: a religious holiday that has become a day for sims celebrate their loved ones with gifts and a big feast. traditions include: attend holiday ceremony, donate, festive spirirt, grand meal, open presents, no school/work.

new year's eve: a day for sims to reflect and celebrate on the past year, most sims are still on a high from christmas. traditions include: countdown to midnight, dancing, drinking, play with toys, no school/work.

new year's day: a day for sims to get focused on their goals for the year ahead. traditions include: cook healthy, make resolutions, journal, read a book, travel to the gym, no school/work.

bookworm day: a day that encourages sims to embrace their love of literature, no matter the genre. traditions include: read a book, tell stories.

super bowl sunday: the day of the annual championship football game - sims often host parties to watch the game together. traditions include: air grievances, drinking, eat pizza, sports tv.

valentine's day: a day for sims to get into the romantic spirit and show appreciation to their partners. traditions include: go on a date, romantic spirit, visit crush, woohoo, watch romantic tv.

Am I the asshole for not cooking dinner for my AuDHD brother?

A little background: we are twins, both 21 years old. Recently we were both back home over the holidays while our parents were away. My parents usually cook for my brother, make sure he eats a proper meal (cooked food with veggies, carbs and meat) at least once, usually twice a day because he often forgets. He is underweight and keeps very different hours to me because of his ADHD and Insomnia. He often gets up and has a ready meal at 2am while everyone else in the house is asleep.

Anyway, when my parents left they told me to please try and cook for him at least once a day. They also charged me with looking after the cat. So, on the first night I made us both toad in the hole (it's a British thing. Sausages, mash and Yorkshire puddings) with the help of the food my parents had bought for me for while they were away. I had to call him several times to get him to come downstairs and eat, and he didn't help with the food in any way. On the second night, I was exhausted and had already eaten a large lunch, so I only made myself a small dinner and didn't bother to call my brother down to eat, because I figured he could do it himself. He didn't eat anything that day until midnight, I came down the next morning to find a ready meal package in the sink (fairly typical for him. I was also doing all the washing up). I felt guilty about this so I cooked us pancakes for breakfast. That night my parents got back late but my mum still cooked him some pasta because he hadn't eaten anything since breakfast. This made me feel bad I didn't make dinner for him that night either, because I was snacking all day and wasn't hungry. I did tell him there was some chilli I had defrosted but he didn't get any.

I also have autism and depression so I struggle to do a lot of house work, and cooking for two people and caring for the cat, while trying to do my uni work was extremely taxing, and my mental health seriously declined over these three days. I also feel like I am not his maid and I shouldn't have to cook for him and clean up after him, even though I know it is because of his ADHD and other mental health issues that he can't do it without help. My parents have also expressed frustration about him never cooking for himself when he is home, but they just put up with it.

I feel bad, because he is trying to put on weight but has only been eating about one meal a day, along with whatever snacks my mum buys for him (mainly muffins and crisps). Am I being Ableist because his needs are different than mine? Am i the asshole?

Ok, I've avoided having to do this as long as I could. I've exhausted all my options. But I need a place to stay.

My dad pays me roughly 150$ a week because I am disabled and can't work. Still fighting for disability.

Willing to travel. I'm currently in SC. My parents will find a way to get me to you as long as you're not, like, in oregan or something. In that case, we'd have to meet halfway.

I don't have my own car, my dad says he's going to get me one with his income tax. Don't know when that will be.

I can cook very good food and it is my passion so I will absolutely cook meals for everyone as long as I get to eat too.

I'll have to figure out food stamps, it depends on what your local SNAP office demands out of me. It could take me a while to get all the paperwork mailed from my Drs as proof I can't work so they don't try and make me do vocational work.

I like to stay clean, I shower daily and keep to myself. I am disabled however so I am not good at cleaning. I struggle with things like dishes and sweeping / vacuuming. Though, I find washing dishes as I dirty them is easy for me to do.

I only get about 600$ a month from my dad, which I need some of to get food /medicine/ pay for bills. I've been paying 150$ where I'm at because the person here was kind enough to only ask for that. I'm willing to pay more because I understand that it isn't easy in this economy.

I am open to feedism related things, so if you're looking for a feedee roomate then this is your chance 😅

Really hoping someone can help.

I kno one person offered a few times, and I almost took the offer, but I was able to figure something else out last minute. This time, I have no plan to fall back on /: no saving grace to swoop in and keep me off the streets. I don't know if this person is still open to letting me stay with them as they were a follower here that I never really got to know.

Anyways, that's my situation, if anyone is willing to help, let me know!

Rainbow doesn’t really enjoy showing gushy romance. The type to care deeply, but feel so grossed out by emotion she keeps it on the low. She’ll gladly show how much she cares about you through acts of service. More so the, ‘show I love you,’ than the, ‘say I love you,’ type.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?)

Quite literally the show is about friendship, so it showcases how she’s friends with varying personality types. The friendship could start in varying ways, but with her being an extrovert— I think as long as you’re in some way interesting/cool, she’ll connect with you.

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?)

She’d get shy and deny she enjoys it, but you two end up asleep in each other’s arms every night. (She doesn’t care to big or small spoon, she just wants you close)

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?)

Though she tends to be uninterested in romance, I really believe that she’s a secret hopeless romantic. If she finds the one, she’ll want to settle forever.

She’s a bit chaotic with everyday chores like dishes/laundry. She’s much better at chores like fixing the car or getting groceries.

E = Ending (If they had to break up with their partner, how would they do it?)

She’d break up over something serious like cheating. But again, she’s a hopeless romantic on the inside.

I really really don’t see her being a cheater. She’d want to stay with the one she loves and work through stuff. But if you cheat, she’s ending it and acting like she doesn’t know you. (She’ll be crying for a while in private/to close friends).

F = Fiance(e) (How do they feel about commitment? How quick would they want to get married?)

She’s much more a left minded person than right, so she’d be good at doing taxes and all stuff math. She’d want to get married after a respectable time when you’re both of a good age.

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?)

She’s a bit rough around the edges, not one to show deep emotions easily— she prefers to stay surface-y with most things. She does treat those she cares for with a gentler attitude.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?)

Spur of the moment hugger. Or hugs during special occasions like a holiday. She’s not going to deny one, but may feel awkward if she’s hugged all the time.

Her hugs are gentle honestly— pulling you to her that you’re both close, but not squeezing you (if it’s a spur of the moment hug, then it’s a squeeze).

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?)

Not a big words person. She’d say she loves you when it comes down to it like when you first confess— but after you might have to confront her to say it. She’d be like, “I thought I’ve showed I loved you?”

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

She’s only ever loud with two things— pride and anger. That’s really it. So if she feels jealous, she’d most likely act like nothings wrong, stutter if you ask why she’s acting different. She’d just deny. Deny. Deny. (Unless she really felt she was loosing you, she’s think it’s her fault).

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?)

Rainbow would be passionate and intentional when she kisses you. Most of her kisses would be left on your lips or cheek. If you initiate and kissed her, she’d love it in the same areas (lips, cheek).

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

She cares— definitely will save and look after them. She’s gentler, but definitely still boasts herself to get compliments from the kids that are easily amused.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?)

Probably the type to wake up early, but fall right back asleep later and nap on and off. So she’d probably leave you in bed and go do something before possibly coming back and sleeping beside you if you haven’t woken up yet.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?)

It’s been shown by the show that she’s pretty set on when she goes to sleep. Eyes get heavy when it starts to get dark. (She’s a bit of a snorer). If she can, she’d want to hold you to her chest.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

Eventually she’ll begin to open up, but she’s not sharing her deep and darkest secrets up front. It has to be a special moments, like you ask a question when you two are about to fall asleep at her house.

P = Patience (How easily angered are they?)

Angered relatively fast. Gets mad if someone cut you guys off in line, gets mad if no one saw her do a neat trick, gets mad if someone mocks her. She gets mad easily. (You have to calm her down)

Q = Quizzes (How much would they remember about you? Do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

In the beginning stages of when you two starting harboring a crush on one another— she’d be pretty aloof, but also care to hear you out— acting like, “she didn’t hear you,” but she absolutely did.

The longer you two are into dating, the more confident she gets in saying, “of course I know what you like.”

R = Remember (What is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

(She’s secretly cheesy). It’s the day you two confessed you liked each other. It makes her get butterflies when she remembers that you like her. You like her, like her. It blows her mind to this day that someone she likes also has feelings for her as well.

S = Security (How protective are they? How would they protect you? How would they like to be protected?)

Protective gf. She’s not giving any warnings, she’s throwing hands. She may be all, “pfft, no. I dont care,” at times— but the second someone insults you her adrenaline is going from 0-100 and she’s boiling. She’s protective and will fight physically or with harsh words.

You standing up for her in any way will have her melting on the inside. When you’re alone she’ll thank you, and say how much it means to have someone care for her.

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

Decent amount. She’s not a lovey dovey girl. So she’d probably schedule something personal and intimate with you— she’s not big on gift giving, so it’d be more acts of service/quality time based.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?)

* She will at times care more for her ego/how she’s perceived than you.

* She can be hurtful with her comments (she tends to just say whatever comes to her mind)

* If you’re not attuned to quieter acts of showing love, then you may feel unloved being in a relationship with her

Costuming and The Bear...

So, costuming on TV, in a movie always means something even if it’s only a representation of the character. The Bear seems to use that on the next level, too, on the more thematic/symbolic level.

Richie wearing only Beef merchandise is the most obvious use of both these ideas, because it’s not subtle, like Richie is not subtle. His adherence to the Beef dress code shows that his character is tied more to the past than the present/future, and that he’s outside the rest of the group as the kitchen staff dons the new blue aprons. The only exception Richie makes in the present is when he’s on a date. Which says something too. That Richie knows how to fit social expectations. Even how to impress if he keeps his mouth shut.

Clear, color separation is used with Sugar. She wears civvies because she doesn’t work in the kitchen, but she’s in orange, the opposite of blue on the color wheel in the pilot, and pink, a social opposite of blue later when she comes to clean up the shot-out glass and search the office for the tax paperwork. This makes it obvious that she doesn’t work in the restaurant, and she doesn’t like it. In the season 2 trailer, talking to Cicero, she coordinates with Carmy and Sydney, showing that she’s coming around.

There’s a distinct present quality in the blue apron uniform as Mikey’s kitchen staff only adds Carmy’s apron to their usual personalized work wear while Carmy and Sydney wear more personally standardized white tops and black/dark pants that not only are consistent but coordinate with each other, already making them a unit within the unit.

This apron/group dynamic is heightened by it not only being pointed out by Tina, but by Tina going from not wearing the blue apron to Carmy remarking that she looks like Sydney when Tina finally does and Tina in return saying to him she’s “profesh” now. It's interesting that Tina wears a white blouse, like Sydney, before the blue apron. It’s the apron and Carmy she resists not the kitchen uniform, but it hints at the future before she joins the present. And before she sheds her individualism.

This desire for individualism leads to Sydney’s scarves, her show of individualism and how she works the fact that she has to hold her braids back into something distinct and bold within her personal uniform that she likely spent a lot of time working towards as she figured out how stand out as herself in a professional kitchen in a way that could not be argued with. Although she also probably played closer to the rules in an attempt to almost hide, wearing something very discreet until she found a place and acceptance at the Beef with Carmy. She wears a more subtle version of her scarf in episode 1 with it rolled then she does in later episodes with the triangle point showing off more color. I envision her wearing the rolled version while catering and interviews because it’s a little sleeker while still hinting and her boldness.

Carmy keeping to his own version of a very classic chef look shows his insecurity even as he comes into his own. He wants to wear something he’s comfortable in that hints at the denim collection and keeps him close to Mikey, but white tee and black work pants with a blue apron is still very professional kitchen. Carmy shows off on the plate, not in his uniform, which he keeps no matter how he’s working in the restaurant or where he’s cooking. Except at home, which is notable. This is echoed in his off-duty clothes, muted colors, and denim, as opposed Sydney’s prints, stripes and screen tees.

All of this is a very winding way to say that all the costume choices mean something. It’s something that the new girl will have a uniform that matches Sugar’s life outside the Beef/Bear. That Richie has Berf merch hidden in someone’s basement, a further tie to the messed up past. That Tina seems to be doing better in culinary school than Ebra. That Marcus and Fak have their own flair.

(There’s not enough of Marcus in the trailers to really guess at his path forward, just rumors, so I’m going to hold off on him in season 2, but in season 1 he falls between present and past but definitely in action looks to his future. I mean, he’s obsessed with possibility and donuts.)

But it also signifies a lot that Carmy and Sydney match in one chaos menu scene but not in the other. Just like it’s important they’re in his home. So, yeah, Carmy and Sydney standing outside their evolving restaurant with Carmy in his personal uniform and Sydney in a personalized inverse of that uniform is a moment that ties them as equals who fit together and complement each other. The fact that they’re together day and, if BTS shot are to be believed, night looking up to the future means they’re a pair. No matter what that future might hold. One time, you tried to make curry for him as a "thank you" meal for moving in with him. Consequently, the rice ended up being mushy and the curry turned bitter. so you ordered fast food as a gift instead. (@lylia9000) - During October, you randomly decided you wanted to dress up as a scarecrow for Halloween and began working on the costume. In addition, FARMER! sans added in a flower crown he made from agsore's garden to make the costume really "brighten up." Yet for some reason FARMER! sans had a weird "Deja Vu" feeling once he saw you in your costume, he stared long enough before you questioned him on it. "what's wrong? is there something wrong with the costume? oh god, is there a tear-" "nah hon, you look "Outstanding." "stooop." "what? not in your "field?" - Long before you guys started dating, FARMER! sans pampered you with his recently harvested vegetable's and homemade ketchup. The reason why he babied you was because when he went over your house, sans questioned how you were still living with how empty your fridge is. All this poor fridge only had was a half empty ramen noodle cup and a carton box storing leftover fast food you ordered last night. the next day when you opened your fridge, you were greeted by.. Sans's vegetables, homemade ketchup, milk, eggs, carbon boxes of cooked food, and toriel's butterscotch cinnamon pie (the full pie.. 0-0) it had a note "Butter not wheat-it all!" - toriel (Toriel joined in with sans on helping you with your fridge situation because she cares for you and is concerned for your health like a mother would.) - Staying inside your house home alone is guilt free but when it comes down with living with your "humerus" skeleton it is not very guilt free, it contains the tax of feeling like a burden. FARMER! Sans doesn't mind working on his farm alone; he done this many times and besides you done enough as cleaning the house for him. but to you it's not enough, so you went to sans and asked him if you could help him with his farm. "sosanscouldihelpyouonyourfarmnotbecause-" "ok" You kinda regretted asking to help because you were not shaped for farm work. You feel your lower back aching from all the hay dragging and rock lifting you had to do, You did ask for it though. though you struggled you were determined to work. hyping yourself with video game references in your mind fills you with determination. "THIS IS JUST STARDEW VALLEY, THIS IS JUST LIKE MINECRAFT, JUST LIKE MINECRAFT AND STARDEW VALLEY! JUST GOTTA KEEP ON WITH THE GRIND!" once you're finally done, you just flop onto the hay with a groan. your sweaty body makes you want to go to your bed but you were too tired to walk. Eventually sans comes up with a grinning smile as always, you lifted your face to greet him but he beat you to it. Sans cupped your face with his hand and rewarded you by pressing his teeth against your lips. *good job kiddo after that you considered working with him more in the future.

Acts of Service

Scoups: probably the type to do the dishes every time. If you cook, he’ll do the dishes. If you’re cleaning, he’ll do laundry. The type to also run errands for you if you find that stuff boring/tiring. Y’all’s going to divide-and-rule this chores game.

Jeonghan: maybe the kind to pay for things without really making it obvious. Acts of service doesn’t have a standard definition (like everything else) for this man. And then one day you’d wonder “oh yeah I don’t recall the last time I filled gas in the car”. Same goes for things around the house.

Joshua: the kind to do things you didn’t realise were due, like figure out insurance stuff or change your car batteries or maybe even restock supplies. He’ll pick up on things you might have missed so you don’t have to bother later.

Jun: seems like the type to notice little things that need attention/fixing, like tidying up cables, fixing a creaking cupboard door, and will do all the heavy lifting without ever being asked.

Hoshi: he might work better with instruction; you tell him to do something and he’ll do it every day thereafter. Would like nothing more than watering plants as you talk about your day, or fold laundry when you guys are watching tv.

Wonwoo: I think he’s a “do taxes before they’re due” kinda person, and would do stuff that you might find tedious. Might be tidying around the house as a habit so you don’t even really realise it, but it comes naturally to him.

Woozi: puts you on a phone plan so you never pay phone bills. I’d say same goes for gym memberships, grocery discount cards, online shopping accounts, etc. that you might not have ever bothered with because it was already done before you knew it.

Dokyeom: he may do little things but is consistent. He’d remember doctor’s appointments, recycling days, etc. and do his bit to help. The type to brew you coffee every morning.

Mingyu: literally everything you need done on that day. Cooking, cleaning, laundry, taking out the trash, groceries, honestly that’s the day you do nothing at all and everything’s taken care of.

The8: perhaps the type to remind you to go for health check ups and pick up the right vitamins/ supplements for you. He’ll do things you don’t have the time for, including organising, tidying and will do that when he sends you off on a spa appointment.

Seungkwan: Will likely enrol in a Pilates class with you and make sure your time off from work is spent on yourself. If you have a hobby or play a sport, he’ll always remember little things like buying you new equipment or tools. Probably into organising and labelling stuff.

Vernon: always remembers your takeout order, whether it’s coffee or your favourite pizza joint. Will never skip your weekend routines and make sure everything’s in place for movie night or barbecue Sunday, so you can relax until Monday comes again.

Dino: probably drives you around a lot whenever you need to go somewhere. Always remembers your work timings and calls you when you’re late. Will pick you up on late nights and drive you on groggy mornings.

McDuck Family Members Most Likely to Start Sh*t at Thanksgiving Dinner

Ah Thanksgiving. The holiday celebrated on the 4th Thursday of November (in America that is), one with food, family, and celebrating what we’re thankful for! (Wanna feel bad? Learn about the holiday’s origins!)

And no family is quite as big as the found family from DuckTales; so arguments are bound to happen at a dinner table filled with so many zany characters with interesting pasts and quirks. Let’s honor those who would throw the first punch at a family dinner, shall we?

Bentina Beakley

I wanna cut Beakley some slack. She most likely had a long day before dinner even started what with all the preparations she did for dinner. Not just cooking for 20+ family members plus other side/recurring characters but also the cleaning and presentation

But let’s face it. This woman can be so condescending at times. And judgmental. You just know if someone is showing up to dinner wearing jeans and sweater she’d have something to say about it. And she strikes me as someone who would slam the dishes while cleaning them only for someone to say, “Hey Beakley do you need help with the dishes?” and then she’d be like “No. It’s fine. I got them”

But it’s not fine. Go help her with the dishes. She deserves a break

Dewey Duck

When I was first thinking about this list I originally thought “No way any of the triplets would start anything on Thanksgiving” Huey is a good boy and Louie would definitely take it easy on a day where you’re legally allowed to sit around, be lazy, and eat food. But then I remembered Dewey and how much of a diva he can be

We know Dewey is an entertainer and with everyone coming to dinner, he has a huge “captive” audience that he can perform for. Whether it be an original Thanksgiving song, a one man Dewey show about the first Thanksgiving, a sonnet about a bonnet, or a very special Thanksgiving episode of Dewey Dew-Night; that kid will want all the attention in him. And the very second the spotlight is taken off, oh boy…

Gladstone Gander

Look at this prick. Don’t you wanna slap his face!?!Anyway I love Gladstone Gander, but he’s the kind of family member that just would go on and on about himself and bring every conversation back to him again and how great his life is

Oh man. There’s so many different ways controversy would start with this morally gray ex-FOWL agent and I’m here for it. Let’s face it, out of all the characters present, Gandra Dee would most likely be the one to bring up the holiday’s horrible origins. If anyone is making it their duty to make a rich white family uncomfortable on Thanksgiving, it’s Gandra Dee

She’d get political and even directly ask Scrooge who exactly he voted for in the past two Presidential elections (he claims to be progressive, but he’s still the richest duck in the world. Just how many tax cuts is this man getting to keep that status?)

Oh and what about the treatment of her overwork and underpaid boyfriend? Why is he still working in the bathroom?

Oddly enough, I can see her and Scrooge bonding over a mutual disdain for Gladstone Gander. What a prick

Kit Cloudkicker

It’s not that exactly what Kit does that’ll start a fight, but what he doesn’t do.

Kit is the kinda guy that was supposed to bring a dessert but totally forgot to pick something up from the bakery so instead he’s stopping at the gas station on the way to dinner to pick up some Twinkies

Kit is the kinda guy that would “take a walk” before dinner and not do anything to hide the scent and now all the kids are wondering how a skunk got inside

Gyro Gearloose

It’s Gyro. Something is bound to piss him off at some point

Doofus Drake

I am so tired of the fandom not including Doofus in this found family (Louie and him made up and are friends now and BOYD is his brother, sorry it’s canon) so he’s here on the list

But he’s still a new addition to this family. And a weirdo and a rich brat with a lot of issues that someone should seriously help him with. He’s gonna make everyone uncomfortable. Is it intentional? Or is he just being Doofus? Who knows
