obligatory "you can't preach against toxic masculinity and say that men should embrace their femininity if you're just going to attack a (supposedly straight, because that's what you assume) man for taking inspiration from past queer men by demanding they share their sexualities with you or else you'll call them a queerbaiter or doing it for attention. the way you present yourself and your gender has nothing to do with your sexuality, and instead of trying to demonize a man for wearing dresses, skirts, make-up, nail polish, or indulge in traditionally feminine hobbies and saying "___ did it first and they're actually gay", you should be happy that its becoming more mainstream and popular for men to experiment with their gender expression. stop assuming that a "straight" man publicly embracing their femininity is attempting to "use queer aesthetics without actually being queer" when the queer aesthetic is literally what you have been fighting to be normalized for years. and while there are some men who do pretend to be queer for popularity, assuming everyone who does is more detrimental than you think. ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ONLY REASON YOU THINK SO IS BECAUSE THE PERSON IN QUESTION REFUSES TO SHARE THEIR SEXUALITY WITH YOU" post
