Battle Weapons File from Battle Action Force No. 510, dated 9 February 1985. A rare example in a UK comic of the King Tiger with the 'Krupp' turret (sometimes called the Porsche turret) . Long story but the bulk of the King Tigers (Tiger ll) were fitted with what was called the 'Henschel' turret and it's usually the latter that you see when depicted in a war comic. Rightly so as of the 492 made only 50 had the Krupp turret shown above. Its also possible there were few reference photos readily available then of the Krupp turret. Complicating the explanation further is that both turrets had been designed by Krupp.

I understand the reason that there were different turrets in the first place related to different prototypes of the hull being designed and the Krupp turret was meant for the prototype that was later rejected. Orders were received for the 50 turrets but the correct hull to attach them to didn't go in to production.

Art wise it does look like the work of Mike Dorey but hard to tell. Mike definitely drew the King Tiger when it appeared in the Hellman stories in 1978 (below) with the more common 'Henschel' turret.

Ooooo, yes! My favorite X-Men villain! And cats! One of my favorite creatures! This will be good. (Should I call you Sabretooth Anon? Or Tiger Anon? What would you like to be called?) Let's see what I can do for you:

He'd lived a long life. A rough life. Survived bloody war after war, committed atrocity after atrocity, torn and gutted and destroyed anything in his way-

He wasn't sure how he ended up with some cat child.

Specifically, one who wouldn't leave.

They were like a... a Neko, or gajinka, or some animal-hybrid thing. Cat ears on their head, cat tail swaying behind them, and purring when happy and hissing when mad. It's like the higher powers of the universe decided to condense everything that was cat and bundled it into the form of this child.

They trailed after him, asking questions and trying to rub their head against him, chatting about anything they can think of. It's annoying at first, but he gets used to it.

Then they start leaving gifts for him.

A leaf they found. Some coins. A fish they caught.

He begrudgingly accepts them, if only so they'll stop leaving more surprises.

He finds out he's attached when Magneto thinks of getting rid of them.

"No. They're not going anywhere," he growls, glaring evenly at the magentic mutant. He's not even sure why he'd think of sending them away.

"Sabretooth, they are of no use to us here. It would be best to send them elsewhere, where they won't be underfoot," presses the old mutant. From the way the metal table is creaking, he's started to get annoyed. That's too bad for him.

"And I say they should stay. They're not a problem. Are they? The kid doesn't mess with anything, and they keep quiet. That's more than you can say 'bout yer brats," Sabretooth purrs, huffing lightly when he sees his boss' eye twitch. Good. It's been too long since he properly got the old iron ore properly riled.

"Why are you so stuck on them staying? Is the mighty Sabretooth attached to them?" Magneto grinds out. And suddenly he's not feeling so pleased.

"And...? They need someone to watch them, and I doubt you want a stray kitten turning to, oh... Xavier," he says, feigning thinking it over. When he sees the other man's shoulders stiffen, he knows he's made his point.

"... Keep them out of trouble, Creed."

"Of course, Boss." He knows he has a smug grin on his face, but-

Who cares one whisker about it?

He gets to keep his kitten.

And he sure as h*ll wasn't going to give them up just because the old magnet couldn't understand their value.

Look, the kitten made him...

Happy.

Calm.

Full of purring and rumbling chirps, instead of angry growls and hissing fury.

So if that means they're not ever leaving him...

So be it.

"Hey, kitten, want to go hunt some dinner?"

"Yes!"

He's happy and the kit's happy, and if someone even tries to ruin that happiness, he'll gut them, and see how smug they are when they wind up dinner for the buzzards.

"Let's go, kitten!"

When he's greeted with a thrilled chirp and a fluffy tail curling, he can't help but give a softer grin.

to be honest, who hasn’t fantasized about the golden traveler’s smooth tummy at least once? it’s a well-known fact that the traveler has an ethereal sort of beauty about him. eyes are always on him, from adoring to downright lecherous.

aether won’t pretend to be some sort of naive idiot, either. he and lumine are used to all sorts of attention after hopping from dimension to dimension throughout the centuries. but when he comes across you— a polite-looking citizen, hiding the coy fox underneath– he quickly turns into a bashful maiden. 

when he first laid eyes on you, you were nothing short of breathtaking. nothing out of the ordinary— he can name a few dozen people more conventionally attractive than you— but the way you carry yourself just leaves him a melting puddle. polite, gentle, but once you turn your eyes on him they darken with mischief. he’s lost track of how many times you’ve slightly pushed him against the bar’s lacquer-shined countertops, breath on his neck smelling like whiskey and divine lust. your hands, bigger and coarser than his, easily wrap around his waist and grip the plush skin. even without his powers, he’s a deal stronger than the average vision-wielder but with you? honkai above, you have him wrapped around your finger.

it’s part of the job, you tell yourself. collect information and data when your boss couldn’t be bothered to do it himself. but there’s no data to be collected from aether, nothing that he hasn’t told kaeya about anyway. you just like seeing him squirm under your fingers, acting all helpless and weak when he took down a dragon (or two, three? how many does osial count anyway?).

still, a job is a job. being polite and amiable as an angel while reeling in victims through seduction is a tactic the cavalry captain has personally taught you. aether doesn’t like it. he melts when your gentle fingers graze his skin and pull away at the very last moment, but when you do the same to others, he burns with indescribable jealousy.

“oh dear,” you tease, fingers trailing up his abdomen and spreading them out. gently pushing him down into the bed he’s invited you into, aether blushes at how your hand almost covers his entire belly. “i think i left my dear boy hanging.” you press a kiss on the creamy skin and smile serenely up at him.

how…! how mean you are! aether whines and covers his face. he can’t handle how opposite your angelic smile is and your devilish touches. your lips press themselves on his stomach as you kiss and bite and prod. he shivers under your touch, getting dizzy as your heat gets to him.

“no wonder the bar has been empty this past few days,” you murmur. has it? aether then faintly remembers. oh yeah, it has. “looks like i got too carried away and made the poor hero jealous.”

“i–i dun like it…” he slurs out, pouting with bleary eyes down at you. “you shouldn’t touch ‘em like that. makes me mad. me, only me.” he sprawls out against the bed, offering his entire body for your greedy consumption. “just put your eyes on me.”

“or what?” you smile into his stomach.

“or i’ll k!ll ‘em.” he sounds so huffy and pouty, but you know damn well that he’s more than capable of that. you lightly laugh and stroke his chest through his thin top, and he convulses at every fluttering fingertip.

“what a terrifying thing for the honorary knight to say.” your teeth graze the soft skin, nibbling at the flesh until you finally bare your teeth— a tiger going in for the k!ll— and dig into the meal. his eyes shoot open as he cries out at the sudden pain, but you don’t stop, not when his pained cry trails into a sweet plea. blood spills from his fair skin and what should be pain becomes an unbearable wave of heat and pleasure. 

you grin up at your aether, his golden eyes tearily blinking down at you, blown wide and shaking.

“looks like i’ll have to tame you myself."
