a painting from last january (mixed media is an understatement)

#al:an own #al:an art #art: traditional #i used paint and three different types of glue #but i also used ink to tie dye some tissues i glued to it #theres a couple pieces of fabric i also tie died #theres newspaper and this weird paper table cloth that's like paper towel but also isnt #at some point i wanted to glue some smocked pieces of fabric #but I didn't want it to end up looking too bulky #anyway #the canvas i made this on was about 40x26 inches

I’ve made my decision, next cosplay will be Crosshair because I love my vulture bitch boy

I really want to try and 3D-print the armour because I bought most of my Inquisitor costume and it just felt like I was… skipping the fun part?? Idk. I just want to make it myself but I have absolutely no idea where to start. Oh well, we have two years, plenty of time to do some frantic googling

#also if anyone more experienced than me has any tips it would be much appreciated <3 #morgan continues her trend of cosplaying characters that are far too bitchy for her #and almost a foot taller oops #at least this would require much less face paint than quizzy did #might dye my hair for this one #and tie it back and pretend it’s not there like i did with quiz #or get a wig. idk #cross would look great with long hair tho #not as long as mine while he’s a soldier for sure #it’s impractical af #but still i might draw that #wow this went off topic okay bye

My little chemistry setup, in honour of my grandmother whose fabric dyes I am using

#she died when i was nine. i have some of her art on my walls but it's in this that i feel closest to her -#the act of creating #we used to dye things together! we tie-dyed and made rolled paper beads and played with clay and painted and the act of it brings me back #to her #who i loved #rowena adventures #fibre arts

hi strangers :)

I haven't been posting because I'm being a productive pretend popstar irl. I've clocked a lot of hours this week working on my Turtle Takeover painting! Its not quite finished, but I wanted to check in and share a progress report.

Still trying to work out in my head how I want to go about sharing my art. I think its interesting how in this day in age, you have to consider sharing the process as well as the finished piece. I tend to be a polished product girl but maybe including the messy journey can be fun too!
