I’m mainly going by how I felt after finishing the series and reading books 1-7–who held my attention, who consistently garnered my sympathies and fickle affections, etc. 

❤ Favorite Male:

Listen. I’m a George girl and I’ve accepted this about myself. No I am not accepting questions at this time. 

❤ Favorite Female:

Book-wise, I really can’t choose. All of them, even minor characters, were so great. But in the show, probably Caroline.

❤ Favorite Pairing:

I first typed Ross/Caroline by accident (which is…not even wrong. That ship is VERY much a “your otp is the character you identify with + the one you’re attracted to” one for me). But realistically, Ross/Demelza is my favorite.

❤ Least Favorite Character:

Other than the blatantly obvious (Ossie, I’m speaking about Ossie), probably Sir Cole Hugh Armitage. 

❤ who’s most like me:

Caroline, by far. We’re both Scorpios who snark a lot and identify strongly with our animal friends. (Now if I can just inherit a ridiculously large sum of money from a dying uncle…)

❤ most attractive:

S1 Ross still shocks me with how attractive he is. I’ll forget for a while and then I’ll see him again and go “Oh, you are still there, and my eyes were not playing tricks on me!” But then S5 rolls around and inevitably he gives up his throne to any number of other characters who had the good sense not to wear terrible wigs.

basket - what items do you always carry with you?

my purse and its contents - phone, keys (two sets of car keys, one ring for other keys), wallet, various receipts I still need to clean out, an inhaler, various fidgets, and a knife.

pillow - do you have any recurring dreams?

not any more - that I know of - but I used to! I used to dream a lot inside this one particular mansion? So much so that I started to learn my way around it. I think I still have dreams there occasionally.

Ok, first, I’m dying that you specified non-theater favorite song. XD XD XD You know me too well ohmyword lol. Good question though. Ok, backing up.

Favorite book: aaaaa. Cheat answer: the Bible. ;) Otherwise: heck. um. I don’t have one. I really don’t. I have many favorites, but not just one book. Maybe I can decide on favorites within very specific genres but it’s still hard. I really love fairytale retellings and children’s adventure/fantasies. Whimsy, heart, and a dash of humor is usually my go-to, though I like me a sweeping epic once in a while too.

Physical book I can answer! I have a gorgeous, gold-gilt edition of Paradise Lost. ;)

Ok, now for the favorite song. Again, too many. But it comes down to either Andrew Peterson, Rich Mullins, or Needtobreathe. AP’s and Rich’s music always reaches me like a gentle counselor or a poet friend and lets me feel and hope and cry; and NTB fits my tumbling, restless, ragamuffin soul so well it’s impossible to describe how viscerally I feel their songs. I could not pick any one song from any of them truly, however, “More Heart, Less Attack” from Needtobreathe has been kind of my creed the past few years, so there.

I’m gonna youtube the ones you mentioned, although I think I’ve heard them both possibly before. ^_^

Once I rode my bike down a steep hill and flipped over the handlebars and nearly knocked my teeth out. I learned not to do that again lol.

mocha: do you believe in conspiracy theories, or think they’re nonsense?

I enjoy them! I like reading about things like conspiracies, unsolved mysteries, reality glitches, UFO sightings, etc. but I don’t really take any of it seriously. There are a lot of great stories out there though.

36: Unpopular opinions

About books in general, or a particular book? Umm... I don’t hate Twilight? I certainly don’t think it’s a masterpiece, but I enjoyed it a lot when I read it back in high school, and have read it a few times since. I think a lot of the hatred came as a pushback against the books’ ubiquitous presence and over-the-top popularity. Hating popular things is a teenage trend that seems to pop up again and again. Just let people LIVE, and like what they like, okay?!

If we’re talking books in general, I really don’t enjoy the smell of old books, which apparently makes me an outcast in literary circles.

your parents stole your phone??? what the heck that’s absolutely horrible I’m so sorry :(

well...I’m not Sure they did. I’m not really sure what happened. I finally found it in a place that I very easily could have left it but...everything about this feels wrong. I’m not sure I left it there, it was silenced indefinitely which I never do, and I prayed about this situation a ton today and God confirmed they at least tried to get into it. so....yeah. .-.
