Thrifted Classics Book Haul

I have a reading goal for this year and that is to read and appreciate classic literature, so here are the thrifted classics I have acquired this week. Bought from the following stores: Biblio (purveyors of pre-owned books), Books for Less and Second Shelf (my new go-to online store for thrifted classics).

Thrift-shopping for books has become one of my favourite past times after classes, I love the thrill of possibly finding a great book I will either absolutely love or hate.

Continuing on the Clive Barker rediscovery, I decided I have entirely too few of his books so I've been searching ebay. I was incredibly lucky to find the fully illustrated hardback edition of the second Abarat book for only £8 - when you consider how much these can go for that's insanely good. I got the first one at a charity shop a number of years ago, also very cheap.

Could I possibly be as lucky with volume 3? We will have to wait and see.
