All I will say at this point is that some of you act like this is your first adaptation. Some things have to change when bringing a story to a different medium -- it would be impossible to be 100% faithful to the animated show in live-action 100% of the time. Not all change is bad -- some is neutral and some is even good. If you refuse to accept any change to the original show at all, that's not a healthy way to look at any media and I feel sorry for you.

Mike's first instinct is to not hurt Will. We've seen once and again he can't stand to see him upset. He might react poorly due to internalized homophobia, but once he realizes Will has feelings for him he'll be all 'we'll be ok, don't worry' even if he's terrified, just like he did in season two with the Mind Flyer situation.

Looking forward to this weeks episode because even though the addressed Isaac in terms of his standing with he union and orville crew they neglected so far his relationship with the Kaylons and to what extent he still identifies with them. Which is weird because that idea was such a major factor in the indentity two parter.

It will be interesting to see to what extent he still identifies with his own people - if at all (especially if these Kaylon are "different" - does he even consider himself, and by extension them, Kaylon? Is it logical to do so if they were told they were broken and in need of reprogramming?).

I feel like he still feels some sort of connection to them; he wouldn't have taken the picture of Kaylon if he didn't.
