When they went to Jotunheim in the first movie. I wonder if Loki was freezing, or just feeling the cold in general, at all?
The others must've been cold, right? Did he notice? Did he mask, like people with autism, to not make them notice he couldn't feel the cold?

Been giving more thought to the finale of Loki season 2, and I am even more convinced it was perfect. And because I say that doesn't mean I didn't like Slyvie. She was a fascinating character, and a necessary part of Loki's redemption. Not because she had to be rescued by him, but because she was his mirror reflecting back to him how he had been hurt, angry, abandoned, unloved. Where it had led him and where it was leading her and ultimately he wanted to spare her the pain of where that would lead her.
What he gave her was the chance to build a life and forge a new path free of bitterness and anger -- just as he had done when he chose to sacrifice himself to save everyone, all the timelines, but more than that the people he had come to care about. It was a lovely echo back to Thor's choice at the end of the Thor movie where he is ready to sacrifice himself for these new friends and the inhabitants of this little New Mexico town.
Sylvie and Loki were good for each other and they healed each other, and she taught him the skills he would need to save the timelines and by extension her. It was a beautiful though bittersweet arc, and it had been telegraphed from the first episode of season one where he rages about his Glorious Purpose, but he finally finds it, not in grand conquest or being worshipped by his subjects, but through sacrifice, service and friendship.

Synopsis
The film finds Thor on a journey unlike anything he’s ever faced — a quest for inner peace. But his retirement is interrupted by a galactic killer known as Gorr the God Butcher, who seeks the extinction of the gods. To combat the threat, Thor enlists the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and ex-girlfriend Jane Foster, who — to Thor’s surprise — inexplicably wields his magical hammer, Mjolnir, as the Mighty Thor. Together, they embark upon a harrowing cosmic adventure to uncover the mystery of the God Butcher’s vengeance and stop him before it’s too late.

Thor 1 re-watch
I wanted to re-watch the entire Loki series, so I figured I'd do the first Thor and Avengers movie too, get series!Loki's entire story.
I'd forgotten how different those early MCU movies were. I can't remember Thor being a particular favorite of mine, but this was miles more enjoyable than a lot of the movies they've recently made. It's a lot...quieter?
It's still got some (bad/dark) CGI and plenty of fights, and some cheesy humor, but it feels more like a regular old action movie.
I do miss this Thor, and this Asgard, and the vibe, compared to movies like Ragnarok. Though Valkyrie obviously is more fun than the Warriors Three.
I was mostly paying attention to Loki, and firstly, wow he looks and acts young, especially earlier on. I knew what was coming and the innocent little brother act still had me going. His plan is also sooo convoluted? Or like, it's obvious he starts with one thing and then it sort of spirals. Still though, except for maybe Heimdall (who has an obvious advantage) Loki's probably the smartest person around.
I can see why Mobius would consider (someone close to) this Loki as someone who could maybe be reasoned with.
And yeah, that shot of Jane in the desert with the camera then panning up to reveal Asgard, that really is very similar to the final shots of Loki. Down to the lens flare.
