Can you believe an entire year has passed? Even tho this year hasnt been too fast, it still kinda feels like the game just came out 😭 anyways… i just wanted to say that ragnarok has to be the first game ive gotten emotionally invested in a very long time. i love a game with story especially a good or simplistic one packed with alot of heartwarming moments and characters and ragnarok has alot of those 🥺 this is also the first gow game ive encountered and im excited for whatever else they have in store! this past year has been pretty crazy for gow fans and though i think there is valid criticism, this game gets ALOT of unnecessary hate and i think anyone who likes atreus/angrboda of any kind has suffered the most LMFAOO regardless tho, it hasnt been all that bad alot of good has happened and for that, Im grateful especially for the experience. To santa monica studios, the actors and other talents, i thank them alot! its been amazing

I have not watched the loki series this season but like a fool I looked up spoilers for the last episode yesterday. I didn’t think it was possible, but it still manages to break my heart that they gave this character literally the most painful ending they could think of. why. for what? I hate that I’m rattled by this but DAMN, it’s not fucking fair.

Ugh I know. What a mess. Alone forever, eternally suffering in service of others, none of his issues resolved or even acknowledged. A horrible ending for anyone. It would be more gut-wrenching to me if I saw the show character as Loki but I simply don't. He's so wildly ooc in every way that I really don't see Loki. I just see Larry the dumb fascist clown.

But yeah I know what you mean. It's quite painful. And it hurts that we will never get the Loki show we were promised. We will never get to see this tremendously complex and interesting character done justice on screen. And it hurts that this is the only end the MCU seems to think he deserves.

But we know better. Fic has always been better than canon. Now more than ever.

The house was quiet aside from the sound of music from a CD player and it was lit with candles all around. She'd set everything up for them to enjoy a week for their anniversary. The kids were being taken care of by one of the elders nearby and she made sure everything was perfect. As she stood, leaned against the island in the kitchen, the dress she wore clung to her ever curve and showed that the garment was the only thing she had on, she smiled at her husband. "Happy Anniversary."

Thor was about to ask but decided against it when he saw what Natasha had chosen to wear – better, what she chose not to wear - leaving little to the imagination. “Happy anniversary!” He repeated, closing the gap between them, his eye scanning over her body as his big, warm hand slid thought her hair to cup her neck and the other ran up and down her strong leg, “I take it we are each other’s gifts?” Thor leaned forward to latch his mouth onto Natasha’s neck, digging his teeth into her flesh: she smelled deliciously. Pushing her on the kitchen’s island he hoisted her legs around his waist, rolling her dress up to have free access to what awaited underneath.

How have I been in fandom for - going on 8 years (?) and not gotten into fanvids before?? All the association I could have been making.... All the memories.... All the composition and clever editing....

#going a little bit insane frankly #it's been about a month of absolute and utter mcu frenzy in my brain and i'm. vibrating #truly feels like some kind of intense fever at times #i've rewatched talitha78's set fire to the rain vid so many times it entrances me #it's to the point where every time i see that shot of loki grabbing mjolnir i hear 'you rose to claim it'#btw hello 13 years late to the party but like. 20 seconds in and i felt like that vid unlocked something in my artist brain #no because the lyrics are 'i let it fall / my heart / and as it fell / you rose to claim it' right #and so she puts clips of thor being banished and losing mjolnir and then loki trying to grab it #which. the interaction between the song and the video making mjolnir thor's heart.... not even 20 seconds!!#it's so clean to me #it's like when i actually took a good look at bill cipher's design and realised he had such expressive potential #and i had to do like a page of doodles about it #in 20 seconds that fanvid from 2011 made me want to make animatics so so bad #which btw i watched it partly because a fic i liked cited it as an inspiration #and partly because i looked at the dates #and realised that the creator put it out like not even two weeks after the movie came out??#absolutely insane. i love this so much #this is like having a family heirloom in your hands #grandma lending me the necklace she wore to her first date with grandpa for my anniversary dinner or something #i have just entered a new fandom and the fans who were here before are showing me what it was like when they'd just arrived too #the sacred texts and such also #anyway. man i love fandom.#wow i have a ramble tag now

I know that movie’s not super well liked, but I’ve always been an advocate for it and I think it could’ve been truly Great with some comparatively minor changes. You should check out this video about said changes and see if you agree with my claims.

For your ship I think I’m going to go outside the lines a little and ship you with Thor. He has shown an amazing capacity to be more than the jock he was originally stereotyped as. He would appreciate your sweet nature and introverted hobbies because it would balance him out. He would also love to discuss the history you know and compare it to the history of his people. I think he would also really love to teach you history from throughout the galaxy.

For my personality, I’m very cheerful and bubbly when happy, but I also have depression and the heavier things in the world can weigh me down if I’m not careful. In a contrast to that, I’m very witchy/goth and I find a lot of romance in the night. I’m a night owl and a microbiologist, so I can be very analytical and I easily get lost in my work. I love to take care of people, sing, and bake/cook. I also love to study and I absolutely love to have an intelligent debate/discussion partner. A lot of people say I remind them of Abby from NCIS. I’m also autistic, so I would match the best with someone who would support me and help me be confident even though I’m a little different.

Is this particularly because I would love to see Foggy with a goth s/o? Yes, but it’s more then that I swear. Foggy is, first and foremost, the greatest support you could ever ask for. He can easily tell whenever your depression is getting to you or your simply spending too much time in your own head. He’ll pull you out of yourself with a smile and even stay up all night with you to do it if he has too. He’s also somebody who deserves somebody kind like you who will care for and appreciate him. He’s also one hell of a lawyer and sharp as a tack. He’ll gladly engage in debate with you as a kind of love language knowing that whatever rabbit hole you go down, you’ll still love each other at the end of it.
