reading about all these fucked up small towns in cali makes me not want to road trip anymore

#literally some parts of this state are just as bad as the deep south #it also makes me glad i live in south central lmao #bloods and crips ain't nearly half as bad as hillbillies apparently #the first time i went to church camp #there was someone flying a confederate flag across the street from the campground #this was in 2014 btw when racial tensions were high as hell #one of the ministers said something about it #but i was so fucking scared something horrible was going to happen #the summer camp is usually in some rural town near san diego or palmdale btw
