i forgot how much of a monster i become when working on original stuff i am both “oh my god no one would ever read this in the first place i don’t even deserve to be writing” and “i have already imagined the interviews i would give when i’m published <3″

#THIS IS A LIGHTHEARTED POST I AM GENUINELY NOT LOOKING FOR SYMPATHY #like imagine this somewhere in the joke realm #also i'm being purposely vague abt my original stuff #not that i'm implying anything!! #i just do like to keep more stuff like this close to the chest #and also it eases the guilt of incompletion if this uhhh falls through #personal writing tag #this post is also painfully ironic bc i've technically written almost like 40 pages #but this current draft only has like 11 bc i restarted last week #and have then spent the past 3/4 days plotting #and like okay it works bc i do have like. a final paper due monday and wednesday. #so plotting is less guilt-inducing rn #but still aksjkdsjkds #also i've just been calling this ''my idea/my story'' bc it feels too ballsy of me to call it ''the book im trying to write'' #like my commitment issues activate if i call it that too early
