come to think of it another reason I'm biased towards nine might be because we never reach such beautiful casual queer vibes as the doctor + rose + jack situation again, at least not as far as I've watched. like I'm honestly not that much of a shipper but that kiss scene DOES things to me. and part of that is how loosely defined the relationship seems to be, at least maybe from jack's perspective. I can't rightly say it was wholly romantic in canon, but it sure was something - yes, rose flirted with jack way more than the doctor did when they first met, but the doctor even just being chill about jack kissing him feels significant - and I do love a quasi-romantic loosely-defined Something.

what's always fascinated me about silver eating the urca page was the fact that this page is the whole story. it’s a map, the psychological motivation, the narrative arc, a haunting, a dream, an obsession, a story device, a myth. it’s so many ideas that its iteration/medium doesn't really matter and at the same time matters more than everything. because silver metaphorically and literally ingests the page and with it the information, the knowledge that frays the threads of nassau and every boat that sets out from it. with him incorporating the famous x that marks the pirate treasure he becomes the page/treasure/gold and starts its metamorphosis. the information becomes silver becomes gold becomes nassau becomes a war becomes madi becomes flint. this whole fucked up cycle and it started with silver making himself the story, eating his own flesh.

Whitewave College: Special Round II

I played en extra round of college back when Aada Puhto and Emilie Hunt were introduced to the hood but didn't want to include their college adventures in my normal rotation. So, now it's time to properly introduce ex-townies Meri Broman and Aamu Simola! Both are rocking Finnish names courtesy of my Finnish game.

Aamu (means morning, blonde hair) is a student and a secret society member at the college, who has been dating Apple Farwood. Yeah, I admit. The reason I wanted to play this special round now is purely because I wanted Aamu out of college. She's an art enthusiast and therefore studied art in college, specializing in paintings (like Apple's mother!) and flower arrangements.

Meri (means sea, brunette) was, once upon a time, a teenaged friend of someone's, I absolutely have no idea anymore. I sent her to college but forgot about her entirely. I wanted someone to accompany Aamu, so I threw them together in the same dorm. Meri has been a bit of a challenge for me, both in deciding how she should look like and what her purpose/fate/future should be. I always plan ahead with my sims, but for now I have no plans for Meri. She is a science enthusiast and studied physics in college.

Once they graduated, Meri rented an apartment and Aamu moved in with her. It's a small apartment, but Aamu probably won't be hanging around for too long :)

So, in other words...

“It’s just a matter of practice. It may never be quite as natural as doing things with your right hand, but you’ll get better at it. I’m sure of it.” Damien watched the colorful ribbons the balls painted in the air, and Merridy’s hands, catching and throwing them in intricate patterns. Perhaps she was right. And yet…

“You are too good, Merry. There is evil in this world you can’t even imagine.”  When she looked at him, her eyes seemed so big and innocent, as if she could see to the bottom of his soul. He was afraid of what she would see there and averted his gaze. “And you’re not as evil as you might think you are,” she replied softly.

I’m trying to write around 300 words every day and I couldn’t go to bed unless I at least tried to sit down and write. I’m happy to say that I slaved away and at the end wrote over a thousand words. Yay!

To open an SRT file to look at it you can use notepad and/or notepad++, click open file, set file type to any, and then click the downloaded file to look at it!

To add it to a preexisting drive video, click the three dots in the top right corner, click manage caption tracks, click add new caption tracks, and either select the srt file from your google drive if it’s already there or upload it from your computer and then click upload!

In the provided example you can see what it looks like when successfully added! (I didn’t give mine any custom name)
