19. What is your character's biggest relationship flaw? Has this flaw destroyed relationships for them before?

He is sort of selfish. Straight up. He has some views and ideas how a romantic day (anything really) would look like and if it doesn't go according to plan the day is ruined. I guess I don't have to mention vanity. He looks good. He knows he looks good. He knows others know he looks good. Etc. So basically he is somewhat sort of quite very selfish and self serving. Add to that his knowledge of his good looks and you have an insufferable bitch.

20. In what ways does your character compare themselves to others? Do they do this for the sake of self-validation, or self-criticism?

Like Arthur he compares himself to other empires, always making sure he is one step in front. In whatever way he can achieve that. There is not a specific person he compares himself to, but an ideal of what a great mighty, beautiful and generous nation should be. François is romanticising this ideal and by extension romanticising himself. Too much.

27. How does your character normally deal with confrontation?

He is confrontational. This is a man who convinced himself he cannot lose a war. Then he did. And did again. Did that knock his ego down a bit? Nah of course not. He is still who he pictured himself to be 200-300 years ago. That makes him even more confrontational. Tho, he will insult the other person in a subtle way. But backing off is not an option for this man.

30. What does your character find repulsive or disgusting?

The trenches.

Yeah.

36. How does your character behave around people they dislike?

Cold. Distant. Subtle insults aimed at their person. Not listening to them talking. Ignoring their comments. I'd say it's quite childlike behaviour but with more pizzazz and style.
