as the maknae of his family & yet the eldest + leader of 12 men he NEEDS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF FROM TIME TO TIME (almost all the time) !! he’d be coming home from work exhausted but craving your touch.

you’d give him the quickest peck on the cheek (right on his dimple) before pushing him towards the bathroom.

“why, whyyy, i wanna cuddle!!” he’d complain all pouty :(((

he opens the door and almost cries on the spot. you had prepared him a piping hot water bath with lavender scented epsom salt for any possible soreness and roses for extra hydration. his towel was already hung up as was his robe for when he got out.

he immediately turns back and looks at you like???? why are you the best person ever??? gives you kisses all over your face repeatedly, you tilt your head back trying to dodge some but you secretly loved it.

“okay cheollie get in before it gets cold, choo go away.” you’d complain.

he smiles and starts undressing himself at your order. he gets into the tub and lets out a pleasurable sigh, feeling instantly relaxed. you give a smile at the doorway, happy that your person was content. you’re about to close the door when he suddenly called your name.

you and jeonghan enter a new restaurant together. he had been excited, seeing an ad about it a few weeks before it’s opening and wanted to take you but he was too busy to ever make any reservations himself.

so, you had secretly done it yourself to line it up with his free schedule.

“booths or table?” the waiter ask and before jeonghan could answer you spoke up. “table, please.”

jeonghan pouted but followed the lead, heading to your table. “babe, i wanted the booths so i could be closer to you” he said as he sat down on the opposite side of you.

to be honest, you had always found couples who sat in booths up each others asses were frustrating to look at. maybe it’s just because you weren’t the biggest fan of physical touch.

and, today jeonghan had his short black hair styled so that he had slight layers and a bang. he was wearing a black button up with the sleeves rolled up. his black and gold yves saint laurent bracelet fully showing around his slightly veiny arm. you wanted to admire him face to face and the best way to do that was with tables.

so you told him that.

“i wanted you in my direct line of view. you look handsome.” you replied nonchalantly, focusing back on the menu.

he nearly got out his seat to give you a kiss then and there. yoon jeonghan was without a doubt, an insane visual. he was aware of the effect his looks had on people but he was so used to being called: beautiful, pretty etc, especially when he had his longer hair so this felt new. it made his heart flutter.

your words were always so straightforward yet no matter how long you had been dating, they always had an effect on him.

jeonghan put a hand over his heart, making sure it was still beating properly because he could’ve sworn it skipped a beat.

“y/n” he said your name gently, full of love. you looked up, confused at the sudden tone, there was a clear shift in the air that felt way too emotional for you.

“you know how much i love you, right?” he asked. it was a rhetorical question. you knew clear and through, and you had always made sure to let him know as well since too much of physical touch or pda made you slightly uncomfortable.

“i know, i do too.” you replied with a smirk. he was about to speak up once more but the waiter came up to your table, breaking the tension in the air.

“ahh babe, this is the third gift you’ve already given me in the last two weeks.” he adorably complained, looking at the new box sitting in front of him.

you pushed his head to the side before pointing at the box. “open it.” you ordered. excited for him to see what would be inside.

he complied, opening up the box and the smile never left his face. it was a perfume making set with customized bottles that had his name on them.

he was practically beaming from ear to ear. eyes almost disappearing as he smiled.

he looked adorable.

you wanted to say it but you always had a problem with cheesy things or just putting your words together in general. so you bought him things, anything he wanted, stuff he looked at for a second; just to see that smile.

joshua turned to embrace you, pulling you into a big hug. you hesitated for a moments before hugging back, hand patting his back slightly awkwardly.

“i really appreciate all this, and you most of all. seriously.”

your heart quite literally skipped a beat but you’d rather eat a 100k scorch level peoper before admitting that.

if you were a black cat, wen junhui was an orange one through and through. sure, your boyfriend looked cold but he was a cinnamon role embodied to you and his members.

always finding a new prank to play, new flirting technique he learned on the internet or simply finding any excuse to touch you. it was often overwhelming but you loved him regardless.

jun recently started feeling like he was annoying you, you could tell because whenever he’d be rambling about something he’d cut himself short on his own accord. you’d tell him to continue but he’d simply say it wasn’t important.

it hurt you that he felt that way and you wanted him to know that you didn’t find him annoying. you valued him and his company and didn’t mind if that came along with his constant tricks.

that’s why you called him over your apartment one day after his schedule. he came over, slightly worried because he usually had to make the first move to hang out.

you opened the door and there he was, standing in all his glory. you opened the door wider and he came through, instinctively going in for a hug which you allowed.

“soo..” he started shyly, looking around your apartment.

“what did you plan on doing today?” he asked you, meeting your eyes, searching to see if it would give away what you were scheming.

but you weren’t scheming anything, you simply missed your boyfriend.

“nothing, just missed your presence.” you replied coyly, looking down at your feet before looking back up at him and ohhhh boy was he smiling like a cheshire cat.

you made your way to you living room and flooped down on your couch, he followed behind you and watched you.

you patted the empty seat next to you while looking up at him.

“sit next to me, please.”

that’s all it took for him to practically leap onto the couch, claiming his space next to you. he pulled you into an embrace before settling down and laying his head on your lap.

you had just left a restaurant with your boyfriend and you were now walking around your favorite secluded park.

you stop in your tracks once you remembered something, “oh right, i have something for you.”

you open it and sure enough, it’s a ring from the matching couple set the brand had to offer. he’d open yours and it was the necklace/chain version from the same brand.

“i think we’re actually meant to be” he’d say in suchhhh a serious tone it’d make your heart flutter.

“yeah right, as in fate?” you’d say walking away, (after putting on your gifts of course >:( !!), when he’d suddenly tug you back into him.

a warm embrace on a cold winter day, he places a gentle kiss on your head before releasing you and you can’t help but smile.

he truly knew how to make you the shyest person on earth.

jeon wonwoo: words of affirmation? (he talks x you listen) + quality time

jeon wonwoo had a cold and quiet persona but those close to him knew it was all but true.

he was silly, loving when people reacted well to his jokes. he loved learning or reading something new and rushing to tell his loved ones (you) his new learned information, most of all, he loved interactive video games.

he had invited you over about 2 hours ago and you guys were currently sitting on his couch, playing a newly released game side by side.

while you were playing, he had been rambling on about his day. everything from what time he had to wake up, rehearsals, how there was a new makeup artist, comeback concept, and even the last joke hoshi made as they were leaving set.

making sure not to leave anything out even as he concentrated on the game.

it was no longer you turn during the game so while he was wrapping up his story you took a hand and brought it up to his head, petting his hair gently before letting your hand rest at the nape of his neck for a second.

“you’ve been working so hard. you’re doing really well. i’m beyond proud of you woo.” is all you’d say before retreating your hand and picking up your controller once more.

he looked at you, a warm feeling in his stomach. ever since he got with you, he truly learned what (romantic) love was.

Name: Apollo Kamiyama

Appearance: Low-key just a pretty boy. Imma add some art breeder photos at the bottom for more visuals of like my facial features. I combined multiple ones into a few that I liked. But yeah, I'm really pretty and I have freckles and curly hair 😻😻 me and midoriya twinning 🫶🏾🫶🏾 scripted that I remind people of the actual God Apollo if he was a human on Earth

Backstory: This one is a very interesting backstory lol. Long story short, my parents were devoted worshippers of the Greek gods. To show their devotion, they allowed the gods to bless me, aka their first child. So I have the blessings of the gods, like Percy Jackson type blessings, as if I were their child. They named me Apollo in honor of the first god they worked with. But that's not all 😏. They wanted me to become one of the greatest heroes. I was born with no quirk, so they gave me an advanced version of my parents quirks with some blessings of course. And that's how you get the gamer system, but the version from the web novel "Solo Leveling". I was born in Nigeria, but moved to America and did school there. I moved to Japan to do highschool at UA of course 💪🏾💪🏾. Don't know if imma actually script siblings, I already have some here 😭

Quirk: My life is mostly like a RPG player. I have quests I receive from the 12 gods themselves and some others. I can do anything a RPG player can do. The gods can open gates like in the webnovel solo leveling which the Gods open the gates to help me get stronger, with mythical greek monsters too. After my first gate, which the Gods use to test me, I get the skill shadow extraction, like from solo leveling. Anytime I defeat a monster, I can resurrect them to join my army under my command. In the original they are black and blue, but I scripted them to white and gold. The gates that the gods spawn can only be seen by me, and if I want others to see them then they could. The blessings I got from the gods show up as passive skills in my system (This whole quirk makes more sense if you read up on the main character's power).

Voice claim: Probably more higher than I sound in my other realities. I scripted something around Kenma Asmodeus (obey me), and Milo thatch combined. Just soft, pretty and angelic. "I sound like a beautiful tune from the instruments that the God Apollo would perfectly play" quite literally from my script

here are all the blessings and what they actually do (I don't get them all at once. There are six I get first, then I get the rest later on. They can grow from there too)

Zeus ⚡- power to control all elements (I start with the 4 basics, before moving into Lightning, metal, etc.)

Hera 🦚 - blessed with a loving relationship in my family

Poseidon 🔱 - power to breath underwater and and summon water beings on command

Hades 💀 - (couldn't really decide on one from him. But just something not over the top.)

Aphrodite 🦪 - the gift of absolute beauty and power to uncover the emotions hidden deep in one's soul

Apollo ☀️ - blessed with the voice of an angel and the powers of healing. My smile is like a beacon of light and shall illuminate the darkest of nights and usher hope for anyone.

NETFLIX: EVERYTHING NOW

[Trigger warning: the show is centred around the main characters recovery from her ed so that’s mentioned in this post.]

I am in love with this show. I just put it in as something to watch in the background whilst I did some light work and now I’m a day behind on it because I couldn’t. Stop. Watching! (and I couldn’t see the keyboard through my tears 😭).

I don’t even know where to start- it’s been so long since I’ve seen a show and seen myself in so many of the characters and seen people I know in those character as well. In an emotional sense, a situational sense and a physical sense I literally found Cam so jarring just because he reminds me so much of two people i know.

The Script Dialogue ?

🎶 For the first time in forever 🎶 the script, written about gen z, using terms and reference of the youth, didn’t. Feel. Forced. IN ADDITION, they used reference that weren’t just globally relevant but phrases and references that are very British/Londoner gen z!

“Are you not embarrrrassssed? This is emberaasssing” - perfectly used.

I also love how there’s no pressure to announce their sexuality, everyone is just them. I’m straight, so my opinion on this means nothing in comparison but I love that. l can see why coming out is important to many and a needed process to go through but I also know many people would rather not and just love and live and from an ally’s perspective I feel like this perspective of LGBTQ+ stories are so refreshing. The kids are freely figuring themselves out with no judgement, as they should be.

The Music Choices ?

First things first because I need to point this out for people not from London who have or are looking to watch the show. These kids come from rich families- and I mean RICH. They’re not from old money wealth (like Young Royals) but they live in modern detached houses located in zone 1 more or less (that’s already worth like £1M+ range), have cars that I know for a fact definitely don’t abide by ULEZ so they defo pay extra, AND have back gardens??? Mad.

But why is this relevant? To be honest I don’t know how to word this but, the house music at the house parties, the drops of garage, when Cam was in his home and working out and they played Cench, my first thought was “Cam is defo the type of boy to know all the words to all Cench’s songs and then rap the words with vim, as if he’s from ends 😂” (translation: “ends” = “the hood”, think Top Boy).

The music choices accurately depict today UK youth and it’s not just music that fits their lives or their characters progression but instead rounds out the characters. For instance I listen to Pop Smoke despite not being able to relate to a lot of what he’s saying as I’m not from NY or live that lifestyle, but will I scream the lyrics? Yes. And that’s how I feel it is with these characters. The soundtrack was like a dip into their own spotify accounts!

AND WHEN THEY PLAYED “MY HOOD” BY RAY BLK ? I cried. That was my “bus ride to school” song in secondary school.

The Character Development ?

I haven’t routed for and been annoyed / pissed off to high heavens by / cringed for / cried for a bunch of characters in so long. I don’t want to say more about that because the show is very plot character driven and I don’t think I can explain what I mean without spoiling it.

What Got Me About The Show ?

Through the show I came to the conclusion that even when I was mad at the characters I couldn’t be completely mad because I knew where they were coming from and I knew they were struggling but still mad because it didn’t excuse or make it okay that they spread the pain. The only character that hadn’t done that I believe is Mia’s little brother (even though I myself really wanted him to give everyone what for).

As I am not someone with an ED I can’t fully relate and my two cents on this is worth nothing in comparison to those who have had the presence of an ED in their life in some way. But from my perspective I do believe that this show is very educational and brings great awareness to the mental side of it all. It’s very raw and real and unapologetically what it is.

I don’t really know how to end these things and tbf but I love this show and needed to express it especially since no one around me has watched it yet 😭.

eri, my darling 💗 i bring more eddie thoughts, sprung from my brain around the time of your birthday actually 🎉 a tiny bit sad, but ultimately happy i promise 💕

i imagine that eddie moved in with wayne around when he started middle school, so maybe aged 10 or 11. he obviously did not have good parents or the best start in life, and things like birthdays tended to fall to the wayside.

but when eddie moved in with him, wayne was determined to make up for all the missed birthdays. he always made eddie breakfast (something special like waffles or pancakes) and decorated the trailer with those paperchains and birthday boy banners and balloons. he saved up for months for presents and they had birthday cake for after dinner 🎉

even as eddie got older, wayne kept up these sort of childish birthday traditions for him. even when eddie his 16, then 18, then 20 even, wayne always made pancakes and put up banners and bought a birthday cake. to be honest, wayne does it to make up to eddie all the birthdays he didn't get as a child, and eddie loves him for it. he knows it might seem a bit silly and childish but it's not really about the cake or baloons, its about the love and attention wayne is willing to give him that his parents never were 💗💔

Wayne loves Eddie like he's his own, and though he refers to Eddie as “my nephew” to people like Dustin, I think he considers Eddie his son. I mean, shit, the trailer has one bedroom and it's Eddie's; Wayne has a pull-out bed which we see folded in the corner when Chrissy is there. Wayne does his best for he and Eddie; he opened his trailer and his home up to the kid and loves him a lot.

I agree; tbh I think Eddie's mum is dead and dad's in prison, so when he was a kid, there was no one but Wayne to take him in and Wayne snapped him up immediately. He just didn't have it in him to turn those big brown eyes away, and who could blame him??? Eddie turned out beautifully, all things considered, and Wayne couldn't be prouder. He might not approve of everything Eddie does, but he's obviously and canonically supportive of his nephew in all the ways which count.

YES YES YES OMG PLEASE😭😭😭😭 when he gets home from work. Wayne is dead on his feet but goddamn, he's gonna wake Eddie up on his special day with some waffles AND pancakes (pulled an extra shift so he had the money for it), and every week for months he's put money aside, denying himself things just to give Eddie something he never had before he came to live with Wayne (on special occasions or when life is too rough or when Wayne just thinks Eddie needs it, Wayne lets Eddie call him dad if he wants to – you can't tell me that when Eddie is all soft and emotional and in need of comfort that he doesn't let himself have that one indulgence... that one truth).

Eddie never had a birthday before Wayne, didn't even realise it was something which most others celebrate, so Wayne always always pulls every extra shift he can, pulls out all the stops, recruits Eddie's friends to help him to give Eddie the best birthday. Every year, Wayne tries to one-up himself. Whenever Eddie walks in to see the sight he knows he's going to see – but he never takes it for granted – he tilts his head to the side with a wide grin, his dark eyes soft as he looks at his old man, before looking at all the decorations.

“Happy birthday, kid.”

“I...” Eddie has three words on the tip of his tongue but he doesn't say it until Wayne gives him a tiny nod. If Eddie wasn't looking for it, he'd miss it. “Thank you, dad.” He runs his hands over his face, his hair, and saunters forward, his hands lightly trembling as he comes to a stop in front of Wayne.

The two men stare at each other, Wayne with fatherly affection written all over him and Eddie is almost beside himself even though this has happened every year without fail since he was taken in by Wayne at ten years old – he's twenty now, and it still knocks him for six every time that he's loved by his uncle.

“C'mere, you,”

They grin, they hug, they squeeze, clap each other's backs, let go, and eat breakfast. Wayne got Eddie some new patches for his vest, a small sewing kit because Eddie stabbed himself so many times with the last set of needles and patches that they got dulled and Wayne had to wash all the blood out of the patches (luckily for him, Eddie favours patches with a black background).

On this birthday, Eddie's twentieth, he clears his throat, fixes his uncle with a solid gaze. “Can I level with you?”

Wayne clears his throat, swallows, puts his fork down. Shows Eddie he's 100% fixed on him. Nods to show he's listening.

“You're, uh, more of a parent to me than the pieces of shit who made me. I just, uh... I fuckin' love you, man. Thank you. For - ” Eddie gestures vaguely and Wayne melts just like the butter he put on his waffles. Eddie puts a hand on the bridge of his nose, fingers squeezing. He wants to cry and if Wayne sees Eddie brush a few tears away, then who is he to say anything?

He can only reaffirm what Eddie already knows:

“Anything for you, kid.”

And Eddie believes him, because for the last decade, his uncle has shown up for him day in, day out. He decides there and then that when Wayne's birthday rolls around in a few months, Eddie's gonna return the favour. He'll recruit his friends, Wayne's co-workers, and he'll try to say thank you for the last decade, and the one in front of him and his uncle, too.

I would KILL for a series about Jim's personal life 😭😭 (but considering the current state of screenwriting and storytelling as a whole imma have to beg Disney to please leave my boy alone)

There's so much to unpack about Jim as a whole but yes to every single thing you just said. I think my feelings for Jim are more platonic than romantic now, but I still get EXACTLY where you're coming from cuz please he's literally one of the most attractive animated characters to ever come into non existence

For me it's just the way he moves?? Like despite the fact that he's clearly lost and seeking some kind of anchor to hold onto, his movements never carry any kind of hesitancy

Whether he's up in the air on a solar glider or walking around on a flying ship floating over open space my man just seems so comfortable in his own body and I ADORE that confidence and the way it's so well written that it doesn't clash with the aforementioned lost/seeking state of mind he's in, it weaves right into who his character is as a whole and I am OBSESSED

As for space academy Jim I think I'll put that in another ask cuz this one's already hella long and I gotta deal with some irl stuff first XD but for sure we should trade headcannons!! Any thoughts on how the space academy would be run and where it would be (i.e on montressor, on another planet etc etc)

(Also so sorry if I get the names of anything in the TP world wrong, I've seen this movie so many times but my memory sucks and I keep forgetting 😭)

How he's move right? Oh my gOD the way he touches his face or how he glances the way his hand and his eyes move feels so real y'know what I'm saying? It feels like he is an actual person like he has so many movements so much personality in the way he presents himself feels so human. And the animators didn't even have to add it but they DID like even if he didn't have those small little things he does the story could still play out the same and the movie would still be amazing but they went the extra mile to make Jim feel like such a real character like such a human character and I love that. It's so rare to have all these little details for a character since animation is so damn difficult but they pulled it off so well???? Which is also why I like him so much. It's so different from other characters bc he feels like a person. Like an actual teenager. And it shows a lot about him too and I love just watching him move around he doesn't even need to say anything just be there and like exist and I'm happy

Also Disney better stay tf away from my babygirl bc if they mess him up I will turn up on the news headlines and it will not be pretty.

I finally have some more time to read fic and I want to make this a regular thing: reccing five fics every Friday, both fics I've read during the week but also older works that I love. So without further ado, here are some newer and older faves:

1. In Repair (Dorian Pavus/Trevelyan, DA, T) by breadbowl: Inky & co are exploring some ruins when Dorian is attacked by Venatori. What follows next is a spoiler lol so I won't say anything else, but this fic was so angsty but also funny in places, with lots of action and banter. It was like extra content from the game which is my favorite kind of DA fic.

2. Librarian To The Future (Dorian Pavus/Trevelyan, DA, T) by norwasmeanttobe: The Inquisition needs a book of magic which has been destroyed, so Dorian time travels to the Ostwick Circle of eight years before to find its last copy. There he meets a young Inquisitor Trevelyan, who was the Circle librarian at the time. A truly delightful fic, plus the author's Trevelyan is such a sweetie. Loved this.

3. Chintz (Achilles/Patroclus, Hades/TSOA, M) by @baejax-the-great: Achilles is trapped in a miserable marriage, and in order to escape it -and himself- he starts drinking heavily while also sleeping with his best friend (and long time crush, but no one's talking about that lmao). The pain!!! The misery!!! All the suppressed emotions!!! It hurts so good 😭 My heart broke for both of them and now I am ANXIOUSLY waiting for a reunion that will mend it (i.e. poking Bae with a stick while she writes 👀)

4. as we circle the moon (Keith/Shiro, VLD, E) by @monstersinthecosmos: follows the events in the show after Shiro disappears post s2, and is then found-- but fem!Sheith 🥺 Kacy's written some of my all time fave sheith angst, and this is no exception: an in depth exploration of Keith's state of mind after losing Shiro and Shiro's own struggles towards recovery, just so soft and sad and poignant and true to character. I love these gorls <3

5. Calamitous Love (Tadashi/Ainosuke, Sk8 the Infinity, E) by @starryskeyes: I read this one a while back, but boy howdy has it left its mark on me. I am a slut and a weakling for childhood friends to lovers to exes back to lovers (no one knows them like they know each other!!!!! ;w;) and this hit the spot JUST RIGHT, Chel's prose and characterisations are divine and made me feel so many emotions. I just want to wrap Tadashi in blankets and keep him safe. 😭

I'll try to not be super embarrassing in case someone actually reads this

I think I've mentioned this before but it's still mind boggling to me to think that at this point, I've been stanning for more than half the time sf9 has been active (as sf9). When I first joined I was, as everyone is when they first start out, a baby fantasy who felt like she had so much to catch up on, like I wasn't "that big of a fan" bc I wasn't there since the beginning. At the time sf9 was turning 3 and already finding their sound and style. But even if I was "late" I'm so happy I've found them and decided to be a fan. The way everything happened by chance I really feel like it's fate, the way everything played out. (My friend pointed out how I stanned seventeen in 2017 so of course 2019 would be the year for sf9😂) but I had been listening to them (the sensuous album, at least) since late 2018 but it wasn't until enough that I decided to check out more of their stuff. Even then, I think I was ready to just be a casual stan. But then they announced their tour and my friend and I had to go !! So to prep I binged their content bc I needed to know the people I'm about to see lolll

So that takes me to jaeyoon.. I was watching Star Road and got to his turn when he had to resist laughin/smiling while other members tickled him.. honestly I really cannot explain why I fell for him the way I did...but for whatever reason the moment I saw him I swear my heart skipped and I was like HIM. That's my sf9 bias!! And he's been able to maintain the title ever since (yes we've had some bias wrecking but....we won't talk about that rn dgjfgsksh) and seeing him in person!!!! Just made it even more clear how attracted I was to him like not just abt his appearance but his character I just have always loved his energy and personality he's always such a wonderful and endearing person to watch how could I NOT love him??? But then as I started to really stan (literally the moment I left the concert I was like I HAVE to stan now) I just found more and more things i love about him. His relationship with the other members, his laugh, his singing, the way he both has a great sense of coordination (we stan dancer jaeyoon in this house) but also is just such a clumsy mess at times and how awkward he is sometimes but like he's not even awkward he's just HIM idk like do you understand ??? Jaeyoon I love you, and I love how you love! Where else will I find a man who decorates 89 bags, posts 89 pics for his birthday? How hard he worked on binnies bracelet even after it fell apart like twice😭😭😭

OK maybe it's not the healthiest coping mechanism to use someone as your comfort but he really is my kpop comfort boy 😭😭 (I do think a good part of it is his voice, it's just so comforting to me. Or is it comforting bc I like him? Do i like him bc he's comforting? It's been so long I'm not even sure anymore) which is why it really was kinda hard on me when his enlistment was announced like I was literally in the middle of looking at a photo book and was ON HIS PAGE when the enlistment notice was posted. Idk if the timing makes it better or worse tbh. (Definitely worse) I feel silly about it sometimes bc it's not like he's someone who is physically present in my everyday life, it's not really much different from before, just watching him from behind my screen. But there are moments I miss him and hope he's doing alright, bc that's just how people feel when they care about someone right? And i care about jaeyoon a lot, and I'm really thankful I have had him and all the sepgus to make me laugh, smile, and cry, to connect with fellow fantasy, over the last few years.

Maybe I'm just extra sentimental bc my ult group who got me into kpop also just had their anniversary recently (iykyk) so my emotions are HIGH but also I've just. Been in such a tough space lately I'm always sensitive tbh LMAO

Ok ok so... the story of how he got his scar is filled with angst so be prepared.

So he got it very young, as a cadet (like the ones that are around Boba's age in AOTC). His batch was always a little bit odd. His twin, Rum, is the complete opposite of him. Always joking around and having fun, but when the two of them are on the battle field together, the work like a well oiled machine. But... Cider didn't always used to be so closed off.

The rest of their cadet squad was a bit disconnected from Rum and Cider, seeing the bond that they shared, but they were still as close as could be. One day, during a training simulation, one of the members of his squad who had always had a little trouble seriously messed up. He mis-stepped, causing one of his squad to fall off of one of the platforms and break his leg, and getting himself caught in the center of all of these repurposed commando droids (this is a melee simulation for possible outcomes where they do not have their blasters)

Cider sees his batchmate calling for help with tears in his eyes as he stands over the other boy who is clutching his leg on the floor, cowering as one of the droids is about to strike. He rushes forward, blocking the blow of the droid and standing over his two brothers, he fends them off, nearly taking out every droid until Rum can arrive to help. He turns to give Rum an order, ready to tell him to get the injured and run while the other covered their backs. But, as he's detracted, one of the droids slashes at his face, causing him to fall back as he is blinded by his own blood.

He hears a buzz, the one that signals that the simulation has been terminated and frantically wipes his eyes. The trainers come in, between them on of the kaminoan caretakers. They say that they have come to take the young cadet who "caused so much trouble" to be decommissioned as it is clear that he is not fit to be a soldier. Cider shouts at them, holding his brother close to his chest as the rest of his squad joins him, saying that he is not defective and that he won't let them take him.

Of course, eventually, they do, and Cider and the rest of his squad are left, incomplete and broken at the lost of their brother. After that, they are all separated, put into different squads until they graduate. Rum and Cider were still put together because of how well they worked together, but Cider was given extra "training" because he was found to be too emotional at the time.

That is why he pushes everyone away and does not let himself feel. You only get hurt that way...

Sorry, that got away from me. I told you it was angsty though 😭😭😭😭

As for his hair, it is naturally that color! A "defective" gene. As his story goes on, he lets it grow out and doesn't slick it back as much and he gets magnificent auburn curls 🥰

I'm so glad you think he's beautiful though. I tired to make him quite attractive.

He'll fight you on it, and it may take a while, but he'd eventually let you hold his hand ❤ but only for a second lol

2023 highlight: MUSIC

ongoing journaling of good things in 2023 so i don't drown in my depression. this time i'm talking music. idk if any of this is entertaining, but it's basically just for me anyway. lots of unimportant rambling under the cut

back in the day (attempt 2 of 3 of going to college), i got this student discount deal where i got spotify premium and hulu bundled together. idk when that deal stopped, but my account is grandfathered in. so, since then, my wife and i have been sharing the same account. which gets inconvenient at times, because only one person can listen at a time. "why don't you just get duo?" because i don't what'll happen and i don't wanna pay extra 😭

all this to say, my wife's music listening will always be mixed in with mine for spotify wrapped. for the most part though, i listen a lot more than they do

to my utter horror, niigo usurped carly's throne for number one artist for me this year. i had no idea that was possible, until i remembered my mizuena brainrot episode throughout the entire month of january. i don't play project sekai (bad at rhythm games, don't like gacha) - even still though, i'm gay and trans and not immune to mizuki and ena's charms 💀 there's a really cute video out there of mizuena performing "venom" live and i'm pretty sure it enraptured me enough to make it my number 1 song for this year

not long after releasing the loneliest time, carly rae jepsen released the loveliest time. my favorite song of hers is constantly changing. when "shy boy" came out this summer i listened to it on repeat. there's still a comic i want to do with that song, but i haven't had the energy for it yet. right now my favorite is "talking to yourself." something about "are you reaching for me/making love to someone else?" makes me lose my goddamn mind

anime music has fully invaded my playlist. i dig the music from bocchi the rock! so much. of course, every song from g-witch. even "houseki no hibi" is in the top 100, even though for a while there, i couldn't listen to it because of how emotional it made me feel :') (even now it can make me cry, and even like a week or so ago i played it on repeat during my drive home while i was crying about work stuff hahaha i'm fine don't worry)

some new awesome artists i listened to this year (just to name a few): laufey, ratwyfe, mxmtoon, reinaiery, khaidreams

i feel like ghost and surfaces sort of fell off my radar even though their music was so popular with me even a year ago. it's been a weird year, and maybe neither were what i needed while i was dealing with new environments

ALSO i have no idea what "pov: indie" means, but i guess it's our number one genre?? what kinda gen z genre name is-- (BONK!)

pete's hair is indeed streaky in some art! they're trauma streaks, pete got caught by hunters (shifting phases' premise), and he survived and escaped with the help of his friends, but not before having his whole life destroyed :)

pre trauma, pete's hair is solid auburn and kept short, he still has the jaw scar

post trauma, he's covered in scars and his hair is streaky, it also grows out because he cant cut it and wont let anyone cut it because he has big issues about the sight of blades and their proximity to him :) (in terms of scars, 95% (i say that coz i havent written out the Torture yet so i might do some fun unexpected unforseeable things ehe) of the ones that are relevant to bust-shots are already mapped out on the ref sheet :) )

and! indeed he has lil teefs! they're not big or long or anything, but they're definitely there and definitely pointier and sharper than a human's canines :) i drew them a few months back, im a stranger to teeth so everything may look right on the surface, but there may be technical issues 8) his teeth appear normal aside from the canines, and then he's got those standard, surprisingly pointy human pre(?)molars, but the canines just make em look extra sharp lmao

oh! and claws, pete has claws, i have 0 idea if you or i mentioned, or if it's on his profile (i cant save an ask as a draft unfortunately and i cant open tabs on the mobile so im really living ip to my name lmao), but he has claws! they are very fun :) they look and grow like regular human nails except that they're very much in the shape of sharp claws with a sharp edge. what he used to do, again, when he could stand the sight of blades was, very literally carve them into the shape of human nails. he can't do that after his trauma :)))))

Hear me out, initially I didn’t really know whether the friendship between you and Hendery would actually work, however, after some thought I can actually see this being a great friendship. Sure both of you have very contrasting personalities, but honestly this would be what brings you closer to one another. You are both quite eager people, but I’d like to think that you are more refined while Hendery embodies more chaotic energy. Initially you would probably get a sense of how-the-hell-is-this-friendship-working, but let me tell you now it’s a very good friendship. It may seem like Hendery could easily overshadow you with his entire personality, but since this boy is very in tune to his emotions and those around him he has developed a type of hyperawareness which really adds to your friendship. He is genuinely more of an empath, by way of observing. He is socially smart so he will be able to easily sense the unsaid things and notice when you are uncomfortable or need some time to yourself. Honestly I feel like what drew Hendery to you was the uplifting energy you have, but as he got to know you more he just really felt comfortable. He is the type of person to just dub you his friend because you’ve spoken a few times, so yeah it is incredibly easy to become friends with Hendery but this friendship will definitely last. He is a fool for knowledge and seeking things out so you bet he will ask you endless questions about theatre class, or anything to do with arts or sciences. He will actively listen to you and will honestly trust your word over everyone else, he is also probably one of the most qualified to be a good friend. Hendery also has the need and want to make as many friends as he possibly can, so while there are differences in your likes, dislikes and general traits, your motivations will always overlap in some ways. So you both take on the idea that hey, why don’t we just work together to achieve our goals. I probably sat this in every ship where I mention Hendery but, his whole personality is just contagious and he will definitely inspire you to go outside of your comfort zone and inspire you to be way more comfortable with who you are. Hendery and his beagle personality is honestly too precious, like he would be so happy to help you out, give advice or anything else he can do. As soon as you turn to him to ask him a question his eyes would totally light up. Your friendship is the typical opposites attract situation, and that is probably the best quality of your connection since you both are so powerful in your admiration and care for one another.

Now this one is a very unique kind of friendship, from the get go it would have been a very deep intrinsic connection. It’s as if you and Kihyun skipped past the basic level of friendship to one that is very intuitive. I think what would have initiated this was the fact that Kihyun could sense just what type of person you were purely because he recognised some traits and ideals that he too possessed. It’s not as vain as it sounds. He wouldn’t have wanted to be your friend just because you are similar to him, he just knew that you were the type of person he would get along with. You would have been drawn to his sense of mystery, it was in the small things that he did, you felt that he was somewhat reserved and that he wasn’t telling you everything he thought or felt. This wasn’t a bad thing, he is a person that is often in his own thoughts, but why he approaches you like that would boil down to him just not showing how much he relied on your friendship and how it helps him grow as a person. He is a warm and kind person, however he keeps that reserved for those who he truly cares about. You would be seeing this side to him most of the time, he is also genuinely interested in your dreams, goals and aspirations and will always be ready to cheer you on. Despite how reserved he seems he matches the type of energy and lust for life and adventure that you have, he is quite innocent in that sense where he hasn’t really lost that love for life so he will be more than happy to experience culture and landmarks with you. He isn’t as forceful as the next boy (ahem, Mark) but he is pretty keen. Overall, your friendship is a very strong one, if you have a disagreement or don’t see eye to eye you both come together to work it out in the end. Another thing that I just have to mention is that both you and Kihyun seem to embody the same type of dramatic action, Kihyun has made some comments about wanting to be an actor if he ever had the opportunity. I’m going to say it now, people who have had aspirations to be an actor or actress are some of the most interesting people I have ever met. This all circles back around to Kihyun feeling that sense of familiarity when he is around you, there is this really awesome sense of relatability that the two of you share this is what strengthens your friendship tenfold. Kihyun knows that both of you will be friends for a very long time, if not forever but he will never take for granted the breath of fresh air that is you.

~NCT 127~ Mark

This, thisssssss. I love the idea of this friendship more than anything in the entire world. First off there would just be so much respect in your friendship, he absolutely dotes on you. Mark is as social and spontaneous as you, you both hold so much energy and excitement, this would only be amplified when the two of you are together. You both have a lot going on personality-wise but somehow that seems to work really well, you two would definitely have the most harmonious friendship in the entire world. When it comes to you Mark would be quite protective of you, but he wouldn’t really make his presence known as the protective brother so to speak. I mean he would if he felt that you really needed him to stand up for you but otherwise it would be a very relaxed friendship. I admit it is a bit of a contradiction that such an energetic pairing is so laidback, but you would both just let life take its twists and turns since you know that when you are together things go pretty well. Though you both give off a somewhat similar energy Mark definitely holds the title of being the clumsy one out of the two of you, he tries his hardest at everything, that’s what you always remind yourself of when he offers to spend quality time with you. By quality time I mean he will get to a stage where he pretty much begs you to include him in your hobbies and personal interests, even if he is aware that he might not be an esteemed artist he would still want to draw a Picasso-like portrait of you. You want to travel somewhere? Unless you wanted it to be private get away with Doyoung Mark would want to tag along, he would even try baking. There is nothing he wouldn’t do if he knew it would make you happy, I know he sounds a bit in your face, but he honestly wouldn’t mind if you wanted to chill or do something without him. He maybe comes off as a little clingy and will express his adoration for you 95% of the time, but honestly he would really value your friendship. In his mind you and Johnny are the same, in the way that he adores both of you in the same way.
