Runaway

Peter and y/n had a plan. They knew what they needed to do to be free. To be away from the lab, to be away from having to listen to children no older than 15 scream in pain. Y/n knew of peters powers. Peter could trust her with that secret, he knew she wouldn’t tell anyone.

Right now, Peter was trying to build the courage to take the tracking device out of his own neck. “Peter, you can do it. Here, hold my hand.” She held his hand out to him, and he gladly took it. He nodded at her, and began using his power to remove the tracking pill looking thing. Y/n winced at the sound of his muffled screams, and at the pain from his hand squeezing hers so hard. But, he was still able to remove it. “Good job Pete, you did so well.” Y/n said as she kissed peters hand. Peter smiled softly. He would do anything for her. But the smile faltered as he realised what he’d have to do to remove the device from her neck. She gave him a reassuring smile. “It’s okay. I won’t hold this against you, you’re just doing what you have to do we can be free.” She gave his hand a little reassuring squeeze and put the belt that Peter removed in between her teeth to stop her from screaming. Peter frowned, but began extracting the tracking device.

And Peter swears he had never seen her in so much pain. He also swears that he could feel the circulation stopping in his hand. His nose began to bleed by the time the device was out. “There you go, love. Good job y/n. Good job.” He kissed her cheek. “Now, I’m going to find a way out. You stay put. I love you.”

(Let’s just say Peter does what he has to do)

They were free. Free from everything. Peter could feel the air on his face, the wind flowing through his hair. He looked at y/n, and she gave the purest smile. This was the beginning of their new life.

A few years later

Peter and y/n lived far away from the lab. Where they’d never be found. And they lived free. They did everything they wanted to do. Watched movies, played games, go on dates, everything. Peter never thought he’d get freedom, but he did. And he gets to spend the rest of his life with the person he loves most.

He and y/n were laying outside their house at night. The stars were shining bright and the cool breeze was flowing through the air.

“Peter?”

“yes, love?”

“I’m pregnant.”

They got their happy ending.
