I'm just sayin', Starstruck and Kirby would be adorable. But also Starstruck and Meta-Knight might be the funniest thing you could possibly do. :)
hear me out: peter pan (2003) window scene
been staunchly avoiding typing too much on most of these but i have some thoughts about this one!
you know... i had actually never even considered kirby for the shipaganza. mostly because i think of him as holding such a strong and unique position in the hearts of everyone who knows him, in a way that is devout but also seems fairly romance-free. and i'm actually very interested in the complex relationships that he has with his friends! but i wonder if not considering him was maybe a disservice, because if anyone has an abundance of the capacity for love, it's him, right?
i think that kirby could eventually occupy a similar heart-space for starstruck as bandee, though it would take longer. i strongly suspect that bandee's love of kirby would rub off on her, if nothing else.
i'm not sure either of them... really understand the premise of romance or dating, so it might not be a typical sort of thing. but i think they could giggle and laugh together and shoot each other slightly smitten looks when the other one isn't paying attention, and be very invested in each others happiness.
he adds a pass by her window to his early morning flight, on the off chance she might be up to join him. she's always thinking of him when he's off saving the world, and distinguishes his star from all the others in the sky with ease. the irresistible allure of adventure vs someone who has never seen any of the wonders of your planet before. someone who finds as much unrestrained joy and delight in the mundane as you do. eating paper cups you find on the ground.
you know i could see it.

I attempted to read a Carmy x Reader fic. I barely made it a paragraph before I felt dirty.
I felt like the other woman.
I was pissed that Carmy dare cheat on Sydney with me.
The absolute gall that I showed thinking I could read a Carmy x Reader fic. I've never been so bold in my life! LOL!

Technically the ending where Durge rejects Bhaal is freedom in the same sense that Astarion was free of Cazador when a mind flayer shoved a tadpole in his eye-socket.
No, your master can't take direct control of your body anymore or take over your will.
Your master is, however, still very much out there. He is more powerful than you. He has plans for you. He is furious at you, his property, for defying him, running away and interfering with those plans.
WotC canon has twice overridden the original games to show that all the Bhaalspawn who were "freed" were pawns of Bhaal in the end.
There's that goddamn delightful letter you might get in the epilogue that flat out tells you that Bhaal's not done with you, and you will not escape your designated function as a stud in his plan to reboot the Bhaalspawn Crisis. (Strictly speaking, damaging your reproductive organs won't stop this: Bhaal's a deity. Who do you think is giving clerics their healing spells?)
Evil deities very much do punish transgressions against them by their followers and apostates, "if the offense [is] serious enough, major transgressions may even be punished by death in whatever form the deity has the power to arrange."
Your best way to avoid that one, as far as I remember, is to get your way into the good graces of another deity who has the power to challenge your old boss and can protect you. (Although becoming a cleric did nothing to save any other Bhaalspawn from their father...)
Now is a good time to fucking panic. Hopefully, Jergal picking up the leash is good enough protection to keep them out of Bhaal's hands. Durge will likely look back on Astarion's willingness to risk his soul going to Raphael if it means escaping Cazador with great understanding - "..."better the devil you know." [...] And I'll take anything that saves me from that."
Time to start researching gods and Bhaalspawn and coming up with contingency plans!
Sure, you can kill Bhaal, but that's significantly harder than killing most things and the bastard does not stay dead, as he has illustrated. Vestiges are still dangerous, and Sarevok and the Other One were both taken over while he was dead. You are not freed by his death.
I wonder if moving to Sigil would work; gods can't access the city, but I'm not sure the Lady of Pain forbids them meddling with their followers/escaped servants from afar... I need to refresh my Planescape knowledge...

So a lot of people have been trying to guess what was up with Lust’s bad deal in the immortals!au that I’ve hinted at a few times, and I figured I’ve kept everyone in suspense long enough to share haha - honestly I thought the little hints i dropped in their og title cards would give it away so glad it managed to sneak by most folks :P
big shoutout to @quacksalot for kindly tossing some money in my hat and telling me to just have fun with it, i’m happy to take any excuse to make au bullshit!

Rooney Shepard (They/Them): RELIC AU
There are stranger things I've learned on the outside
Separated by an open door
I find it hard to reach the end of my timeline
Salivating 'cause I wanted more
Is this the end or is this the beginning?

Let me tell you about the little AU I've been spinning in my head like a microwave these last couple months! (with alt text commentary)
Luffy finds Law's seraph clone and decides to take the little baby murder bird with him (and names him Hoshio (or Starry if you're on the camp that thinks Traffy>Torao)) because who wouldn't want a mini Torao? Law, it's Law
Law haaates the whole situation and doesn't trust or want the kid anywhere near them or their crews when he finds out, which clashes with Luffy being in complete Cora-san mode since day 1
I call them the Lawlu Sky Family

[Start ID. A digital drawing of Minos Prime from Ultrakill, who's wearing a strapless slit dress and sandals of the same deep purple. He faces towards and slightly to the right of the camera, his head is tilted further right. With one hand he gestures in a vague pointing motion, his arm folded and held close to his body. There is nothing in the background, but bracing himself on one arm, Minos is implied to be leaning against something about the height of a countertop. The background is a blank purplish black, save for three diagonal stripes in the colors of the bisexual flag. End ID]
Shading study that quite literally came to me in a dream two weeks ago, after this post apparently beamed itself into my mind
(also a few edits below the cut! they're very slight but whatever :])
[Start ID. Three different versions of the previous drawing. The first changes the tone of the lighting from blue to pink, and similarly the shading from pink to blue. The second replaces the faint black border with pink, purple and blue, syncing with the stripes in the background. The third combines both these changes. End ID]
