Tumbly friends, it has been too damn long! I’m sitting at the vet’s office while they perform Jasper’s well visit. We’re going to California for Thanksgiving and then India for the last week of November and first two weeks of December. Gotta make sure our boy is in tip-top shape before leaving him with grandma.

Life has been busy! Just mom-ing, working out, trying to have a social life. I applied for a new job at my company to start something new when I return to work in the new year. I had an informal interview today, and it went pretty well, I think. I’m sure they’ll do their other interviews when I’m out of the country, so I probably won’t know anything for a few weeks.

I spent the last few weeks getting everything ready for Christmas so we just have to soak up our traditions and baby’s first Christmas when we get back from our trip. House is decorated, presents are purchased and wrapped, cards are mailed.

I’ve been watching Golden Bachelor with a group of girlfriends, and it’s so nice to have that lil escape every Thursday night. I’ve also been helping with a local nonprofit, and husby and I attended their annual gala last Friday, which was fun. I signed up for that half marathon in Feb!

Okay, those are my updates. I’ll try to write more often because I love this place.

Got prescribed cymbalta for anxiety/chronic pain.

Took first pill last night. Thankfully they’re very small because I have a lot of pill trauma and have a hard time taking pills. So me even agreeing to pills is a big deal lol

Anywho. Took it late because I heard it makes you drowsy. Fell asleep 30 min after taking it.

Woke up pretty early. That was a bummer. But felt pretty alright. Started moving and I’m a little nauseous. Hope that goes away.

Hello everybody!

I had the hardest time remembering my password but I found one of my booklets with my passwords and success! I didn’t want to delete my account so I decided “I’ll block everyone and then when I decide to come back I’ll unblock everybody!”. Turns out I have to go back and follow everyone so you might be seeing a recent follow from me and saying to yourself “wtf?”

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy holiday/Christmas! I hope you guys are doing well! I can’t believe we are coming to the new year already. I feel as we get older the years just go quicker. I’m finally on my winter break which feels fantastic. I love working with the students and helping them in their everyday life.

you have to MANUALLY opt out of it as well.

to opt out on desktop, click your blog ➡️ blog settings ➡️ scroll til you see visibility options and it’ll be the last option to toggle.

to opt out on mobile, click your blog ➡️ scroll then click visibility ➡️ toggle opt out option.

if you’ve already opted out of showing up in google searches, it’s preselected for you. if you don’t have the option available, update your app or close your browser/refresh a few times. important to note you also have to opt out for each blog you own separately, so if you’d like to prevent AI scraping your blog i’d really recommend taking the time to opt out. today it was 15C, blindingly sunny, and I slept almost 8 hours (usually I get 5-7, rarely over 7, and almost never over 8 unless I nap in the afternoon), and hooo boy my body was not ready for that much energy.

I was SO productive at work, but then I got home and suddenly got BLINDINGLY LIVID at NOTHING bc my brain was like I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THIS!!!! USUALLY WE'RE ASLEEP BY NOW!!!

anyway I did the MineruBot battle in totk and yelled at it for a while and I'm Better Now. Except still very energetic and scatterbrained which is a problem bc I want to start Fellowship of the Ring tonight but Tolkien books require a very zen state of mind to read.

I can't even be mad though, bc apparently for the rest of the week it's going to be winter again. Gotta let my brain play while it has Vitamin D I guess.

hey so tumblr just added this thing (community labels) and by default ALL these category filters are set to remove anything labelled with these from your feed entirely (not just blurred).

Please remember to go into your settings and adjust them to what you prefer! if you're under 18, you won't be able to adjust them as they are set to Hide until you turn 18

this is what it looks like in settings (i have everything set to Show, the default is Hidden)
