Padawan Mikasa subtly sending girls flying when they get too close to her Master Eren. She does it at stuff like crowded bars so noone can tell who even did it. But she's so smug when she sends a girl flying into a table of drinks because they were acting too flirty around her master. Eren ofc always knows it's her doing it, at first he didn't know why and thought she just had some violent habits.

But once she got older and Eren realised it was jealously fueling her actions, he'd manhandle her out of the area and find somewhere he can fuck the brattiness out of her until she's dazed and obedient. Maybe use the force to bounce her on his dick faster 🤭

They turn heads, wherever they go in the galaxy they turn heads, and why wouldn't they? Mikasa is beautiful, stunning, one of the most attractive women he's ever seen, and she's in the prime of their youth.

He's not surprised when people look at them, it's just unfortunate that they are also Jedi and well, sometimes stealth is required.

He turns back to his padawan before he enters the club, giving her a stern look, "Would you be willing to perhaps wait outside?" She gives him a wan look that tells him everything he needs to know, and the answer is a firm resounding no. Eren sighs, reaching over to yank at the hood on her head, fingers brushing over the soft apples of her cheeks in the process, tucking raven locks behind her ears. He looks at her face for a moment, heather grey eyes, cheeks flushed the softest shade of blush and full pink lips. She's stunned for a moment, looking up at him so earnestly and with so much affection it's hard not to kiss her.

She is temptation itself so without further delay he yanks her hood rather brutally over her head.

"Eren!" She protests and he grumbles to himself, "Pain in the ass padawan." "Hey!" "Keep the hood on Mikasa or we're gonna have words, you're too distracting."

He paces towards the club entrance, nodding at the bouncers, and just as he's about to step over the threshold he stops, and he hears a little 'oof' just as Mikasa bumps into him, her hands darting out to clutch his waist to steady herself, breasts pressed up against his back. He's quick to turn in her grip, unhooking her arms because the force knows he doesn't have the willpower to withstand her touching him for that long.

He looks at her sternly, his hand reaching out to snatch her lightsaber from her belt and Mikasa pouts at him, "And hide this will you, nothing says Jedi more than a lightsaber Mikasa, oh and don't lose it, that'll be the next thing." "Yes Master," she murmurs, her cheeks colouring pink as she takes the instrument back, eyes darting away at her earlier blunder of losing said lightsaber, but she can't resist a sassy little quip, "But I only learn my habits from you." Brat.

Eren huffs, but says nothing on the matter, but she just might be correct, he's lost his lightsaber more times than he'd care to admit.

He ignores her quip, stepping into the club, his own lightsaber tucked away and immediately he can feel Mikasa at his back, as close as she can get, always pushing her luck. The universe had laughed when she'd been chosen as his padawan, sweet divine intervention, payback for him being a hellion of an apprentice himself. Except Eren thinks Mikasa is much worse, because his master had never had to deal with sexual temptation, he only has so much self control and Mikasa tempts it at every turn.

"We're looking for information," Eren murmurs gruffly as they approach the bar, Mikasas taking his arm in her own, cuddling up to his bicep, an act she'll later claim is simply to keep up the ruse. Mikasa leans into him, waving down the bartender, the perky mounds of her breasts pressing up against his arm, and he knows without looking that she's allowed her robes to slip, just enough to reveal a hint of cleavage. And of course, she's not wearing the requisite undergarments, no she's a young padawan learner, likes to flagrantly flout the rules, thinks the jedi robes she's been issued are a bit too stuffy. And she knows he'd never admonish her about it, had heard tales of his own adventures before she'd even met him, had known how rebellious he'd been, so who is he to tell her what to do. God, had his rebellious phases been a mistake.

Especially when Mikasa leans over to take her drink and pay the bartender and the beige robes she's wearing slips more, revealing a delicate collarbone and just the hint of her shoulder, stretched taut around her left breast now, the beige edge of her robe just barely concealing dusky pink, just a hint. Fuck.

Everything he can't see he can feel though, pressed tightly against his side as she orders a drink to make the ruse seem believable, make them blend in.

She takes a sip of her drink, her robe slipping just a little more and Eren can't function, reaching over with his other arm to yank the robe back up into place irritably.

"We should split up," he tells her gruffly, pulling his arm from her grasp, he can't be in this scenario with her for much longer, she takes advantage and he's too weak to say no sometimes, lets things go on for much longer than they should. "I guess," she sighs, "but I'd feel much comfortable with you master." God that name, that fucking title, it does things to him, dirty things that are making his dick stand hard at attention, and he's thankful for the dark tunic he's wearing, covering up his arousal. It's so wrong, so, so very wrong, but the way she says it, the absolute adoration and devotion in those gray eyes, how he knows she'd look exactly the fucking same on her knees, his cock in her mouth, would probably whisper it, 'Master', pretty and breathless as she sucked him off, as he fucked her into the bed.

He reaches up, tucking a stray lock of hair thats fallen back behind her ear, making sure her hood is secured tightly. A silent ask of forgiveness for her percieved slight. Force she's so beautiful, so ripe, prime for the taking, it's a wonder he hasn't had her yet, especially with how obviously she'd be into it. In the last year of her apprenticeship she's changed. Where she used to be the perfect padawan, loyal and obedient, almost to a fault, now she was a brat. Like adulthood had changed her.

Freshly eighteen, she'd woken up on her birthday a different girl, the undergarments of her Jedi uniform gone, her new lightsaber, an alarming red almost pink colour that he'd chastised her for. But she'd pouted asking what was so wrong with the colour pink?

And tempting him beyond belief, it was like it was her mission in life to fuck with him now.

She'd always driven him nuts of course, just in different ways, it was irritating to have an apprentice that was so much better than him at things. What was he supposed to teach her if she was already good at everything?

She was almost a better sword master than him, and her attunement to the force was amazing, maybe better than his too, it had maddened him those first few months that she could so easily do things he had struggled with for years. And then, during a mission there'd been a close call and he'd realized that Mikasa wasn't perfect, she had things to learn just like everyone else, they were just different things. And now, he'd like to think he'd taught her pretty well, because what Mikasa had to learn wasn't battle techniques or how to use the force, it was how to think outside the rules of the Jedi temple, how sometimes not everything was cut and dry and made sense so easily. So of course, who better to teach her than the most rebellious Eren Yeager who even within the Jedi order was frowned upon for constantly breaking the rules.

People had been outraged, but here they are, with more successful missions than anyone else. "Eren," Mikasa whispers, pulling him out of his haze, her voice breathy, eyes still shut tight as she basks in his touch and he immediately rips his hand away. A frown mars her delicate features, silver eyes peering up at him with displeasure at the removal of his touch. "We're splitting up," he repeats, no remorse this time, physically removing himself from the situation with a step back. "See what you can find out." "Yes Master," she tells them, but this time there's a distinct note of sarcasm to her tone, and she marches off with a huff. Eren groans as he leans back into the bar, the force knows he doesn't deserve this. Well, maybe he does. A little. "Aye, she looks like a right pain in the ass," the bartender speaks from behind and Eren nods in agreement, "She is, can I get a beer?" The bartender chuckles, "She's pretty though." "That she also is," Eren agrees, dropping a few credits onto the bar top for his drink, "Now do you mind if I ask you a few questions about a patron of yours?"

An hour later Eren has gotten some information on their target, but not enough to be satisfied. And Mikasa, well he hasn't seen much of her since she left the bar, just brief moments out of the corner of his eye, her robe falling too low again, chatting up a bar patron a little too flirtatiously, tormenting him in any way she can find.

But he refuses to acknowledge it, can't give her the upper hand, he is the master here, he has to exhibit confidence, self control.

He's becoming a little suspicious about why all the women he talks too suddenly decide to get up and leave halfway through their conversations. If he didn't know any better he'd say someone was using the force to make them leave, but of course Mikasa would never do that. Right? But his suspicions are growing, especially when the third woman in a row suddenly up and leaves their conversation with barely a word.

And then he sees her, she's at the bar, talking to some guy but her gaze is focused on the woman he's with, her fingers moving marginally and of course, with Mikasa's command over the force, it doesn't surprise him when the pretty blonde girl he'd been talking to suddenly sets down her drink. "Sorry I have to go." And then she's gone and Eren doesn't even bother to be subtle as he figures her out, turning his his seat to glare at her. Their eyes lock and she knows she's been caught. Jealous brat, but he can't deny it pleases him just a little, even more so when she obeys his unspoken demand, leaving her conversation entirely to walk over to him. Her drink is clutched tightly in her hand as she awaits her punishment, her head dropped dutifully, "I'm sorry Master." Eren is feeling chaotic today, a little bit of his old rebellious spark fuelling his next actions. Instead of lecturing her about her use of the force he gives her a taste of her own medicine, grabbing her by the waist and bringing her to his lap, tucking her into his body. She makes the sweetest little noise of surprise as she's abruptly forced to straddle him, her face tucked into his neck and Eren chuckles darkly. "Isn't this what you wanted Miki? To pretend to be mine for a night." She squeaks, as he grabs her thighs, settling her how he likes, playing at being the couple that everyone envies, the most beautiful people in the bar that everyone wants to be or wants to fuck, but they have each other. He tucks her close against him, letting her have just a hint of what she does to him, his turn to flagrantly break the rules as he grinds her against his dick, lets her feel the full length her teasing has caused all night.

Because for all Mikasa's talk and bratty behaviour lately, she's still only eighteen, young and inexperienced, she talks a big talk but she can't follow through, too sweet, too shy.

"Master," she whimpers, her head buried in his neck, her hair covered by her robe, "I-I'm sorry." "Don't apologize Mikasa," his hands rove over her curves, cupping the plush of her ass under her robes, "You displayed excellent control over the force, even if you were being kind of a brat while you did it. Did you find out any information." She nods into his neck, her lips tracing along his clavicle and he shivers, "I did." "Good girl." He knows if he could see her face she'd be preening, it's a wonder what praise does to his young padawan, the way her eyes sparkle, and even now she relaxes into his hold, a soft sigh overtaking her. "I'm sorry though Master, I just I couldn't stand it, watching you with them when it should be me." There it is. Eren hums, massaging the plush of her ass gently, resisting the urge to dip down towards the warmth of her heat where he knows she's probably soaked. One hand slips up to her chin, forcing her gaze up to his, he tells her the truth,"You couldn't handle it."

"Master please," she looks up so earnestly, "If you'll let me, I'd like to try."

He says nothing for a moment and Mikasa moves against him, grinding the soft warmth of her cunt down against him where he lays hard and wanting in his robes, "Please Master, please?" He groans, shaking his head, "Pain in my ass." She bats her eyelashes, and Eren lets out a long suffering sigh, "Yeah, go get the ship." AN ATTEMPT AT JEDI EREMIKA !

Does the “woke” critique ever really go beyond “this has gay people/poc/women in if they’re pushing their agenda” type stuff? Personally I don’t think I’ve heard “Mary sue” get used since Rey Starwars, everything I’ve seen lately is just foaming at the mouth when a story doesn’t exclusively center white men

there’s a version of the critique that’s just that, and there’s another version of it that’s something to the effect of “it seems like some writers use IP to tell a story *they* would like to tell, regardless of how it works in the IP”. the former one is just whiny. the second one, as far as I can tell, is probably a real critique, because i can think of examples of this being brought up where representation isn’t involved in ~the discourse~ around it at all.

this happened in like 2015 back when fallout 4 came out. if you don’t know anything about fallout, here’s the quick TL; DR. nuclear war happens. americans take shelter in vaults built by the vault-tec corporation. some of the vaults turn out to be weird social experiments set up to study human behavior. vault 95 was housed with only drug addicts and there were no drugs in the vault, except 5 years in, a massive stash of drugs would be revealed in a hidden location in the vault. the problem is that one of the logs the player can find is written by a delivery man where he says he’s delivering a shipment of jet, a fictional drug in the game that’s a weird cross between meth and jenkem, made from fumes of radiated cattle dung. but this was invented after the bombs dropped, so there was no way for a pre-war delivery man was bringing a shipment of it.

this is a problem that’s very easy to fix in a video game. just change the text in the next patch. instead, what happened was the guy who wrote that quest doubled down, and did it again when fans were pointing out the clear flaws in his logic. and the writer responded with “not interested in discussing how realistic things are in an alternate universe post-apoc game w/ talking mutants and ghouls.” and a lot of game and tech news sites backed him up on making fun of fans for daring to complain about lore inconsistencies.

and like, on some level, yeah. it’s just a story. maybe you shouldn’t take it too seriously. but part of the flip side of that is that if you stop taking it seriously, you stop consuming it. bethesda didn’t create fallout, they’re just it’s current owners. people working there might care about fallout to some extent, but when push comes to shove, they prioritize their own visions. and stuff like this is ultimately how they view it. if you’re a fan of fallout, it means something to you. that’s why you enjoy it. but to them it’s only a vehicle for their new story. if they can get away with not respecting old lore – not just to save face, but also because the old lore gets in the way of the story they want to tell – and they believe that you’ll continue consuming the product, what incentive do they have to respect the old lore.

and, how many times have you heard a story like this? how many tv shows? how many video games? how many movies has something equivalent has this happened to? people take these things seriously because they love them. when they see inconsistencies, they’re worried that the new stewards don’t actually care. and when those new stewards lash out like this, it just confirms to fans that these creatives only want to wear a skin suit of the thing that they love.

Xina Kwan things/fact from the OG 1992-1995 Miguel o’hara comics!

I went through the comics and looked at Xina Kwans outfits/apartment/old dorm room, and here is just some random things about her! And I can see why me and so many others love her, she is so human and in my opinion she has autism like me and these things are her special interest

-she used to have a Batman poster but now has a Batman figure!

-she is a musical fan! And has a Cats poster

-she has a guitar meaning she probably plays it!

-she seems to be a sport fans, more so of rugby due to the fact she has helmets in her house

-she has a waterbed!

-she has a massive garden on her balcony which is well cared for

-she is a massive book collector and possibly cd collector

-she doesn’t seem to have a couch instead a yellow beanbag!

-she has an old style kettle

-she has multiple lava lamps! One huge, one tiny!

-she seems to have a random blender that is on display

-absolutely loved gumball machines

-she seems to wear boots nearly exclusively, one that look like doc martens

-she is a beavis and butthead fan!

-as a kid she appeared to have a plushie on her bed, the legs are only seen though

-she has studied aliens but she also has random alien based objects in her old dorm room! Including spaceship models, this may be based off of starwars as well (for the ship model)

-she appears to in her old dorm room have a device that almost looks like a DS, which seeming ads weren’t made until 2004, would probably meant to be some fancy phone/computer, but at the size and portions of a DS

-she loves Marilyn Monroe because she loves strong women from the past! She sees Marilyn as a role model basically

-she has never been seen wearing a dress! She just doesn’t wear them

-she has a tie collection that she has hung up on a frame in her house

I was feeling really unsettled after the finale of The Bad Batch and I wasn’t entirely sure why until I talked to my best friend about it.

Spoilers and unsolicited opinions below.

This is just me trying to sort things out in my head and thought I would share.

Obviously Techs death was pretty devastating, and I thought that it was the loss of his character that had me so in my feelings. They had fleshed him out to be very unique; he was the genius trope while still being confident and warm in his own way. You don’t ever see that portrayed in any sort of media and it was super endearing and refreshing. Then they canonized (I’m calling it canon at this point) him being neurodivergent/Autistic and that felt really good.

From what I can remember, he had never been made fun of by his brothers for info dumping, interrupting or his general demeanor. (The Regs made fun of all of them so I’m not counting that) And again, he wasn’t portrayed as being completely callus and uncaring. When he came across that way, Omega called him out like any little sibling might and he had explained his situation beautifully.

“I may process moments and thoughts differently, but it does not mean that I feel any less than you.” Same my tall neurodivergent buddy, same. And I think that is an incredibly powerful thing for a show to say, especially a SciFi universe/series that attracts this sort of following.

So yea, Techs death felt a little like a gut punch. I get sad over character deaths but this one got to me, and Tech wasn’t even my most favorite character.

I believe it was because of the timing and the tone.

It happened with 15 minutes left to the last episode, at that point we know things can’t get better. There would be no ‘fix it’ curve ball where he comes back to save the day, Crosshair wasn’t getting saved and then Omega was taken. There was so much despair and strife that the ‘I’m your sister’ reveal had very little emotional effect on me. At that point, I just didn’t care. I had been curious before, but it’s hard to feel curious about anything when everything felt so demoralizing and hopeless.

And that’s where my disconnect and unsettled feeling is coming from.

Starwars is about Hope, it always has been. It’s a huge reason why I latched onto the universe as my ‘comfort’ fandom. I’m emotionally sick of shows that everything is horrible all the time, if I want that I just open up Facebook or watch the news.

That isn’t to say that bad things don’t happen in Starwars, they absolutely do. But I don’t remember the last time any of the shows or films left me feeling utterly hopeless. Even in season one we have Omega telling Crosshair “You’re still their brother, you’re my brother too.”

This season we get; Tech falling to his death. Wrecker, Echo and Hunter sitting in a Dark Marauder ready to go feral after already trying everything and having nothing left. Crosshair out for the count after being tortured for who knows how long and Omega being kidnapped by the Empire.

Obviously the writing is really good, especially if so many people are having an emotional reaction to it. And I understand that its set right after order 66, so the empire is in full swing of being vicious evil bastards. But I think I am just really missing that punch of hope at the end, that light at the end of the tunnel that can pull us through until next season.

I am unsettled because it just feels really hopeless and that isn’t the theme of Starwars at all.

I want next season to turn that around, I want Tech to make a Starwars ‘not dead yet’ return, Crosshair and Omega to escape and the found family Trope to be intact. But that all seems like a very big ask at this point.

Makes me scared for the Mandalorian. At least we got to see Zeb Live action this week.

Hello everyone! Thank you for coming, I hope we have a grand old time. First things first, this is a 18+ Rp area, so I hope you please respect that we should do just fine. One thing I think gets lost in the overall conversation surrounding starwars is that the whole "attachment bad" thing was never supposed to apply to everyday people.

The Jedi aren't evangelical.

They are carriers of what amounts to a genetic disorder and their rules exist to help them manage that disorder.

(Whether disorder is the correct term is a whole separate debate for another post. I definitely think it negatively affects their lives along with giving them super powers, and having ADHD myself I feel that.)

They aren't right, but their dogma is understandable when one of the symptoms for the untreated condition is genocidal rage.

This was prompted because I see people saying Andor is a rebuke of the message of the earlier starwars cannon.

Specifically that the importance of family and community in fighting facism counters the earlier message that attachment is bad.

I can definitely see where this opinion comes from, and from a Doylist perspective it may even have some merit, but from a Watsonian perspective it completely misses a lot of key facts about the starwars universe.

Also I think the two perspectives are compatible thematically as well if you look much past the surface level.

Like I said, the Jedi arent evangelical except with other force-sensitives, and I don't think starwars media has ever really been intended as propaganda for those anti-attachment beliefs, even when it has been read as such.

I see Andor, which btw is my favorite starwars ever too, as a much needed look at the non-force-sensitive people of the galaxy and how love and anger and hatred and fear are all important emotions that deserve space, and in extremis are some of the most potent tools for fighting facism.

I don't think Luthen is a jedi but I find it telling that people are speculating in that area because he is the one for whom the story paints as risky the same things that would be risky for a force-sensitive person.

So I dont think Andor is a rebuke of the earlier themes and works except insomuch as by shining a light on the part of the world so many of us knew was there and longed to see, it highlights the negligence of others in not doing it so much sooner.

Andor isnt a change or a slap in the face, it is the missing puzzle piece that has been lost under the couch for the last four decades, and oh does it feel good to lovingly slot it into place.

I am so thankful to Tony Gilroy and all the amazing, talented and hardworking people that gave us this show we all new was missing from our lives.

So not a rebuke, then. More like grabbing the stick of the floundering franchise and shouting a desperate but hopeful "CLIMB!"

Decently; I was a Band Kid back in the day lol so instrumental stuff has been a decent chunk of my life. I don't really listen to any of the classical greats or anything niche because I'm teeeerrible about finding new music in general much less like that; unfortunately, I've heard a lot of really good classical and jazz, but it's pretty hard to identify and retain songs (not to mention the difference of live vs recording), so all I've got is pretty well known recommendations haha. That said, they're still enjoyable and I recommend them both to people with classical and jazz exposure and people without.

Holst's suite The Planets is something I imagine everyone sort of interested in classical style music (feels weird to say. Not classical period but You Know What I Mean) already knows but they're damn good and I recommend anyone who hasn't listened to them, do so. They're essentially the blueprint for movie scores, to the point that *cough* some people just blatantly copy them *cough starwars cough*. Among those, beyond crowd favorites of Mars and Jupiter, I'm really partial to Saturn but suuuper picky about which recording I listen to for it. This is the one I like (though I recommend listening to other tracks I've linked here before this one because it's just. a lot of investment):

It's a little more uptempo than I prefer for the piece but the ending is fucking exquisite, man. A lot of recordings will have one or two musicians slide just slightly out of tune or a bit of a hard tongue and on a piece like this it's super noticable to me (in other times not at all lmao, this makes me sound like a snob), but this one is CLEAN. I'd kill to experience this in person

Dvorak's New World Symphony's 4th movement is fun too. I'd say it also falls into the genre of 'movie soundtracks got based off this so it feels more modern than it is'. It's also one of those songs that definitely is better live I can feel it in my bones where I should be feeling the low brass yk:

The upside of my instrumental music taste being very generic and friendly means if you haven't really listened to much, you should actually find something you like, here, though! If you're real in on it you can judge me for my answers but I will not listen to anything but recs.

I actually do want to explore more, especially with jazz honestly. Which I know you technically said classical music and those aren't always close things in people's heads but uhhhhhhhhhhhhh I did music theory for a bit and jazz is nuts man. If you think you don't like jazz there is 100% a genre of it that you'd be into it's so varied and cool as hell

I also want to go to (classical and jazz) concerts more. I miss live music. It really hits like nothing else. I really recommend anyone to look up local university bands and see if they have free concerts; they probably do. You don't have to really dress up or anything. I recommend going to full range ensembles over instrument specific stuff but that's just because I overwhelmingly prefer a more varied music texture and range. So stuff like jazz bands, wind ensembles, string orchestras I will technically count. Yea

I haven't published a huge amount of fic, which makes this a fairly simple request, but if I had to pick a top 5...

The Void Stared Into Hawkins and Hawkins Stared Back (Stranger Things, post season 4, role-reversal + fairly crack-y). This is the fic that is currently stuck in my brain so I am very biased, but after the show basically confirmed that the Upside Down got its shape from exposure to Will's brain I just couldn't resist the idea of a fic where Vecna and the Mindflayer get out-evilled by the joint powers of capitalism and their local home owners association. Hawkins is due some consequences for soaking its residents in weird upside down radiation for three years anyway.

A Stumble (Stranger Things, an au where El gets captured by the lab at the end of season 1). This fic was born out of my rewatching season 1 and thinking about how El so nearly ended up a prisoner again and wtf that would have done to the rest of the show. Or more importantly, how it would have affected those crunchy character relationships (the good stuff). Written almost entirely so that I can read it.

Time after Time (StarWars, one-shot + time travel fix-it but only in the broadest possible sense of the word). A fic I wrote after reading way too many time-travel fix-its where one person is sent back in time to neatly avoid everything that makes the StarWars prequels a tragedy. The result is a fic in which absolutely everyone gets sent back to the beginning of the Clone Wars, causing an enormous amount of chaos instead. I wrote this mostly to make myself laugh

An Abbreviated Account of Clint Barton's Poor Life Choices (Marvel Cinematic Universe, prequel of how Hawkeye and Coulson met). This was the first fic I ever posted, and despite the dodgy formatting and the fact I'm not really interested in this fandom anymore it can still make me laugh. And that's the main thing. (Kind of a theme in my writing now I think about it).

Destiny x Starwars || Paracausal Forces

//Ok so visiting my Starwars Blog got me thinking about the Starwars/Destiny crossover I mentioned previously, and I was talking to my roommate about a Destiny/Starwars crossover and she brought up the Old Republic—the timeline like 3000 years before the movies when the Jedi and Sith and Mandos and everyone were still getting started—and how well the Guardians+Vanguard would really fit into that era. How they could become legendary warriors of their own caliber and be allied with the Jedi Knights and how the forces within the Darkness/Witness would be closely allied with Sith.

//She also mentioned that there's canonically a huge area in space that nobody knows anything about that a powerful invasion force came out of (I can't remember what they're called) and that it's possible that that's where the Sol system is and it's just been cut off from the universe battling everything else.

//So that gives me two ideas:

//The first idea is that the Big Mystery area is in fact the Sol system (including all Destiny locations). But the reason it stays dark & unknown is because it’s in a Paracausal quarantine that allows people in but not out, thus keeping the Pyramids and such contained from the universe. (Welcome to the Madagascar of the SW Universe. Make yourself at home because you’re not leaving. :3 )

//Second idea is that something happened, a huge paracausal event like the time rips on Mars. The Hidden Story at the Disney Parks Part 1

Did you know that the Disney Parks have their own secret society? No, I am not talking about the famous Club 33, but in fact am talking about the elusive FICTIONAL group that ties hidden in the background lore of several attractions, parks and even films called the Society of Explorers and Adventurers (S.E.A.).

Hidden globally throughout the Disney parks is a hidden lore that connects the parts of the parks together narratively. Rides such as Big Thunder, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise and many more are tied to the adventures of these people, and if you look closely you may find that they have left their mark on the park.

Disney does a great job at tying their adventures into not only the park but also into real histories including people such as Leonardo Da Vinci being a member of their ranks at some point in time.

I absolutely adore what Disney has done to craft a narrative around their parks, that connect them in ways never thought possible. Not only is it just an interesting thing to look out for if you are ever in the parks, it expands the reaches of the Disney Universe and brand in an interesting way. Similarly to that of the MCU or Starwars, these stories could quite possibly be a way for Disney to start their own live action cinematic universe. This may be something that we are already seeing take shape with the release of the 2021 Jungle Cruise movie, and the upcoming 2023 film: the Haunted Mansion.

There is a lot to unpack surrounding the Lore of the S.E.A, enough that I cannot cover in one post, so I hope to expand upon this, so that we may uncover one of my personal favorite ways that Disney uses narrative in their parks. So consider this an introduction to the S.E.A., as more content is to come to unpack this interesting piece of Disney Lore

I think. Mandalorian view on war crimes tends to vary wildly? I would say uhhh backstabbing tends to be bad, but then I remember the whole ‘combat determined ruler’ thing and challenges have to start somehow. Most of sw tends to have a different idea of war crimes anyway but if you think Mandalore follows the Yavin Code then you’ve got all of one rule, which I’m p sure is you can’t execute people without offering a blindfold, and the YC doesn’t even seem to be treated very seriously by most people? It’s mentioned like once? If there had to be a hard answer I’d say the Star Wars universe generally doesn’t hold war crimes to the same weight we do/have such varying ideas it doesn’t come up much? The Jedi probably have something bc of like sai tok being “frowned upon” (what wookipedia says) but that appears to stem from “what would the sith do” and then noping the fuck out of that, which. If you say is the entire galactic basis of a war crime stuff probably gets very awkward bc A.) Mandalore you know. Worked with those guys. B.) a chunk of current republic space used to be ruled by those guys and C.) at one point, has spent 20 years under those guys in what we know was an information suppressing regime

Oh also if we’re going off the 8 year old thing v the demagolka thing, I could see a mandalorian viewpoint that one scenario is like.,, rightful training/revenge, whereas a demagolka would be doing stuff against the will of the child? Like good parenting could be “take the kid out to fight where they’re surrounded by fam/friends, but not where we’re going to be clearly outnumbered” + To us helping an 8 year old kill people is obviously bad and they can’t really understand quite what they’re doing, but mandalorians probably have a very different view on death and Learning to Murder n stuff. In that vein I also think the mandalorian version of protecting a child is probably, at some level, teaching them stuff like shooting anyway

Yeah! I mean, I think you're kinda bang on, anon; starwars likely doesn't have a set definition of war crimes, at least on a 'We All Agree [x] is Too Far' level; any given group likely does have lines, but I'd assume those very much vary widely. Even the idea of war crimes as we think of it is pretty recent, though there's been some sort of 'you can do [This] in war but [Not That]' from various cultures since ~2000 bc (code of hammurabi, which is where we get 'an eye for an eye' from! that shit is very old); a lot of those older laws are very practical, for a level of practical that includes 'you have to offer the option to surrender (and become your slaves) First, then you can slaughter the shit out of people' and 'Don't go scorched earth (because You could own that once you win)'. A level of morality, in that those things are bad, but also, a very practical level of 'war is expensive, don't fuck up your ability to profit or hold what you take'.

I suspect in star wars there's some things that are horrifying, but mostly a 'oh my god' rather than a 'you can't do that'; there's certainly enough 'and Then We Blew Up A Planet' to show that, while that might be logistically difficult to pull off and existentially horrifying and thus basically only something Evil Shitheads do, it's not actually something star wars has, like, got laws (or even widespread agreement) about; I assume if there was laws at least someone might have, uh, mentioned it, like literally ever. Concord dawn is half a damn planet, surely it would have come up (we don't talk about alderaan; genocidal empires don't usually give a shit about war crimes).

Interesting about the yarvin code; as far as I know, firing squads in real life often use blindfolds for the benefit of the firing squad members, rather than the person being executed. (also like varying ideas of honor/respect/etc; that gets pretty complicated quick and I'm a star wars blog, not a history/anthropology blog). I guess given star wars is much closer to a medieval level of legal vibe, that's probably actually a groundbreaking civil rights law; were it not for the whole 'children's media etc' we'd probably be seeing a lot of breaking on the wheel or other super horrifying Ye Olde Execution Methods.

I assume the Jedi have very much a list of 'these are Unacceptable Tactics', and likely even more pre-rusaan reformation (army of light! god I wonder what chivalry looks like when your knights are space wizards; take the 'local attack tank' of a knight/lord and turn it up to 11), but that's less 'war crimes' and more 'organizational/cultural norms and morality'.

God, thinking about the whole 'used to be a full out sith empire' thing just drives me bananas; the logistics and legal issues in the star wars universe have to be fucking insane.

And yeah, hard agree on the mandos seeing it as a 'this is Good Parenting' vs, y'know, us being like 'uuuuuuuuuuh'. I tend to assume, tbh, that star wars as a whole leans very much on the 'children are Little Adults' concept that, again, you see in very much medieval (and up to the victorian era) times. so you have 14 yr old queens and 8 yr old bounty hunters and 10 year old generals, etc.

Which tracks with the 'doing stuff against the will of the child'; a kid can learn Life Skills (like murder), but experimenting on anyone without their consent is Bad.

Django Freeman character analysis

I have to say Django unchained is a pretty decent western and the Quentin Tarantino version is a little better in some cases than the original 1966 spaghetti western set on the US-Mexican border set after the civil war in which Django, a union soldier and rambling man, also played by Frankie Nero and his sidekick who is a mixed race prostitute, fight off Mexican revolutionaries all the while he tracks down kkk members who happen to be apart of the confederate red shirts gang. I like the Quentin Tarantino version better for the story and the original more for the gunfights. I mean let’s be honest, old westerns were way better but the Tarantino one is an exception. However I do feel that with fictional characters that it is good to definitely Have minority representation in the cast of characters for it is pretty cool when the story calls for it rather than “forced” diversity as we see in everything now and people wonder why the arts industry seriously sucks. The gripe I have with this new line of filmmaking is it is propaganda being released to force this social justice idiocy on the viewers yet it has the opposite effect like we see with all collective finger pointing as it breeds the opposite of what was intended like how we saw the more conservative stuff in films and hippies ruined society with the boomer “me” generation who needs “ to rebel man, “ and then the gen x group saw this hippy crap in filmmaking and decided to make cooler stuff like Starwars which rocks and totally get away from both forms of propaganda in the name of good story. I also disagree with the whole “need to identify with fictional character to fit in society “ group because if you really do you should honestly cut the crap and get into reading history, realize you’re not an expert on everything and actually do your part. It’s the same thing as incel culture or how the modern soy boy will apply Harry Potter to a current event over some kid who reads things on social economic problems and culture and global conflicts instead. Now with that baloney said let’s get into this fantastic character which was initially the only good race swap that ever worked due to a change in story that served the character in which the original was a John Brown abolitionist type to the vengeful slave in the latest iteration which serves a totally different universe which I will say is stupid they should of just made a different film. Also dynamite was used a lot here and that wasn’t invented till the late 1860s. I only said that to make that bother you now when you watch this cool film. LAUGH AT ME HAHAHA

A German bounty hunter by the name of King Shultz seems to be looking FOR SOMEONE OH THE FORESHADOWING. Then finds Django and absolute beast on the colt new army ball and cap as well as the Henry 45 70 long colt, is bought by the bounty hunter in an effort to locate his targeted men in which he does with the help of Django. After finding his men he then…. Offers …… to…… HELP DJANGO in finding his wife who is owned by his former slave master in MISSISSIPPI OOF . They come up with a plan after Shultz the krautinator agrees to help him and they had the objectives of earning a way to be welcomed into the owners home in an effort to save Django’s wife. This film also has some really silly things for comedic relief like the scene when the klansmen can’t see out of their peanut sack masks. I do think Jamie fox did a pretty good job on his part and I can definitely see how his role as a strong black protagonist is important for things like this did actually happen especially around 1878 when Ulysses Grant made the kkk enemies of the state and hunted them for union soldiers did not hate confederate soldiers because that is stupid, for they in real life did sometimes hunt slave owners. It’s a pretty good film and still captures that old school western style I love seen in films like A Few dollars more or Josey wales or the good, the bad, the ugly or even shows like lawman or gun smoke with James Arness. I however, to answer the question wether or not that I consider myself hero or anti hero, I’m not sure I mean I see what many people today, flooded with cancerous post modernist views, I guess I would be considered anti but that means nothing to me for I have seen what makes these peckerheads cheer. I see Django as the hero obviously but I believe he is being seen in the wrong light. He commits multiple atrocities throughout the film however, he has done it to savage slave owners and the south’s worst criminals so I do not believe he is wrong. He also tends to have a cynical nature to him thinking man is really just evil for the most part.

Django is also very vengeful for even after his buddy there, Shultz is killed by Candies bodyguard, he takes his wife’s freedom papers from his body and bids farewell to his mentor as he tracks down Candies bodyguards and slave trackers down and kills them to avenge the killing of Shultz and then eventually freeing his wife. Django is pretty influential to black audiences because of how he is represented as the hero in this story set in 1858 set a few years before the American civil war and combats klansmen and slave owners and their security as well as their slave trackers and anyone else those southern democrats had to throw at Django. Overall it was a pretty good film but I think many of these dopey liberal filmmakers took this idea too far and created hot garbage like Velma. Django was a phenomenal film and definitely one for all western fans to watch and take a liking too.

🌀 DESTRUCTION — tornado Cookie (Starwars). If there's one character who could take up all the "destruction" set it would be Cookie. A grey force user with bare control over her excessive powers, she's several dire accidents in a trenchcoat.

— wildfire Kellandra Rinonn L'Rue (From Tusomov). I wasn't going to reuse characters, but K'Rin is too perfect. Her anger flares and consumes, but quickly eats itself up.

— earthquake Alexis Dalliance (FF/Titan). Where she hits is catastrophic - but it's the aftershocks that ripple outwards that are more likely to get you killed.

— tsunami I can't think of anyone who matches this

🌄 LANDSCAPE — mountain I can't think of anyone who matches this

— forest I can't think of anyone who matches this

— ocean Mio (Starbound). I feel like this might be cheating because the Hylotl race is amphibious and canonically evolved in the oceans.

— desert Ronald (The MOW Files). He's a very dour character, dryly sarcastic and a bit prickly.

So here’s an undertale AU I’ve been sitting on for a while.

Well it’s probably been done before but here’s my take on it if it has.

Ok so undertale. But with robots instead of monsters.

Call it robotale or a.Itale or mechandertale (hehe I’m proud of that one)

Flowey: would be a crt screen ai using the robotic infrastructure of this universe version of the underground to display and crt monitors that are everywhere to be found. Most broken. And instead of flowey maybe he calls himself codey (codey the A.I code) lore for Asriel:

Now we all know the tragic story of how asy became flowey. So, Same concept here except, when he came back he was just loose a.I code of Asriel with most of his essential code missing or corrupt (or both)

Toriel and Asgor:

They would be something like defunct war robots (examples like the sentry bot from fallout) with guns and ballistics. Toriel would be a smaller model with no ballistics and less armour plating as Asgores would be with lots of armour plating and a couple of ballistics. They would both have a way of standing down from their war weapons (such as hiding them or turning them off) wich will be there friendly appearances

Sans and papyrus:

They would be construction bots. sans would be on a wheel (like Mettatons first form) and is a security bot (low grade security bot. Fragile but effective) papyrus would a mechanised construction worker (made to replace the human construction worker)

Napstablook:

He would be a holographic A.I that can interact with the robotic underground. (I’ll get to mettaton in a bit)

Undyne:

Undyne would be a pilot bot/A.I it would be a week but viable and agile drone bot. (Similar to like starwars clone wars droids but looking nothing alike to them (obviously) )That can pilot a tank bot mech hybrid (on tank tracks) (also equipped with a ballistic spear launcher that she can wield outside of the tank form aswell)

Alphys:

She would be a mechanised P.C with access to the internet (weak access but still SOME internet access)a crt pc monitor from the early 90s would be her head displaying a face close to her normal one. Her body would be the housing unit of the pc that makes her brains. and she would have 6 insect like arms. Her legs would kinda be like Lego legs (you know blocky, not much movement. That sorta thing) and would have wheels built into the feet. Weather or not she still wears a lab coat. I do not know.

Mettaton:

WOULD BE A PLANT CREATURE. Don’t be alarmed I have an explanation for this. Now mettaton normaly is obsessed with entertainment and they still are but there way of finding a new body would be expressing through plants (specifically flowers) so alphys bot would experiment putting her holographic A.I (Rember back to napstablook same family so Mettatons robot form would be the same as his) into a flower creature (think Mettatons stage 2 body made out of plant stems and flower petals.

Mad dummy/madmewmew:

Same kinda concept as mettaton but instead of a mad dummy they would inhabit things like a vending machine. or for mad mewmew maybe his A.I code gets stuck in an electric advertisement of a popular robot show (or anime if you want)

Frisk

would remain mostly the same. Maybe a gray/yellow sweater (gray with yellow stripes) and dark grey shoes.

The souls of monsters would be their battery’s ( the boss soul lore still kinda holds up)

This is all I got so far…

Not much of a concept I know but I though I should shout this on the internet somewhere (so here it it’s >:P )
