i finished the first four acts of homestuck and i have thoughts tm

jade harley is amazing and i love everything about her

i get dave striders popularity now. guy of all time

im really enjoying the really structured paraells between the characters. esp in regards to the strife they have with their family. its all in such a similar format but the difference really shows off the characters? if that makes sense

im having a little bit of trouble keeping all the plotlines straight but its still very enjoyable

the trolls ive met so far are very fun and in general timeline fuckery is a trope i LOVE so this is great

again keeping all the trolls straight without knowing names is a but annoyed but the zodiac and colour coding helps

i loved the intermission and reread two times. i just love timeline fuckery.

john's fathers is also very cool. hes just trying his best in a weirdass situation

i have. no knowalge about the fandom and popular ships or anything expect for the fact vriska is apprently similar to ianthe from tlt

my opinion on you based on your favorite childhood show except i grew up in the 2010s

adventure time: look i feel like everyone i know who watched this was either mature for their age or had older siblings who watched it

regular show: regular show kids were the stoners of elementary school. or you were a little boy with adhd

ninjago: you either had a crush on one of the ninjas or you thought the snake dudes were totally freaking cool. either way this is the pipeline into.. something.

chima: im sorry nobody cool liked chima. my brother said it was lame once so ive never watched it (he was right.) that said, you probably now feel the need to oppose the current thing all the time... or youre a furry

my little pony: you either were trans, had a tomboy phase right after, or ended up being a horse girl. btw, i am so sorry for what the bronies did to us.

think about the tragedy of enot

they have to go through hell and back, inching slowly and slowly towards ascension and, what they get forced into a dating sim?! one where every failure spells death- no, every ending spells death? only to repeat the process over and over until they give in and accept that nothing truly matters and they should be flrgotten about as nothing more than a joke character for curious people looking todiscover every secret in the game?

its sad really. No wonder theyre portrayed as a bit awkward in the dating sim, non canon upon non canon as that is, with what they had to go through, no one would know what to say. i need more tragic enots, ones that stare into the jaws of despair, falling deeper and deeper into them only tk be spat out, propped up to repeat that same process ad infinitum.
