Hi again! Its me, idk if you remember but i sent you that weird horned shiny caterpie a long time ago. I had another question. My partner recently caught a pumpkaboo. He is also very much into haloween decorating, but hes afraid to carve any jack-o lanturns. I was hoping if there is a way to help his new pokemon and let him carve this year. Any advice would be wonderful.

Ah yes, good to hear from you again, your caterpie is doing very well by the way, settled right into a small colony after an adjustment period and has made a lot of friends.

As for this Pumkaboo issue, it does happen, theyre sweet pokemon but struggle to see the difference between themselves and pumpkins, so the panic can settle in.

What we normally do is encourage them to use razor leaf as a move, and basiclaly play fruit ninja with them. As often as you can just throw fruits and get them to try to cut them up with the attacks. After a while, say a week or so, slowly introduce small pumpkins or gourds in. Say nothing and just mix them into the game of aim and slice. They are not usually perceptive enough to pick out what it is theyre attacking while its moving in the air, especially in daylight where their eyesight is a little less detail orientated, and will continue the game without further thought. Again, these are not overly intelligent pokemon on average, more curious or tricky, even timid (but there can be exceptions).

Once they eventually realise theyve been playing a game with vegetables by letting them examine the remians when you all clean up, they usually clock that vegetables and pokemon are not the same. they do not smell the same, nor do their insides look similar in any way. Its more about breaking the barrier between what they will and wont do out of nervousness, proving that they are not the same as pumpkins first hand, and that there is no scary or terrible concequence to attacking said vegetables.

Posing the idea of carving together after that tends to become far simpler, they can connect the dots of 'i am a pokemon and alive and sentient' and 'that is a vegetable and im not hurting anyone like me', most of the time this species wont partake due to a fear of the unknown, a hypothetical, or a disconnect in information, fill in the gaps and they tend to come around to it pretty quickly.

But theres always the alternative if you find youve got a real scardy cat: Paint the lanterns. Glow in the dark paints are easy to buy, so you can bypass the need for a candle or knife, and this way you dont have to front up something that may cause yoru pokemon emotional discomfort, though I personally would suggest confronting this nervousness.

It is a minor issue, and it's healthy to experience situations where you need to be in an uncomfrotable state and maintain calm composure. This is a great example of just letting them experience the world so they can handle their feelings and emotions in a healthy way instead of freaking out if they see something they don't like or understand, launching an attack out of fear and being a danger to themselves and others.

-its automatically the first thing he points out when you guys meet. Hes like; "hey, we have the same name, haha!" he also refers to you as "mini me" (if youre younger) or "my twin"

-you guys make it a competition for the name, something like "whoever wins this battle is the best Leon" or "whoever wins takes the name Leon" some silly games like that. of course its nothing serious just some lighthearted games.

-when someone calls out your names the two of you just look at each other wondering which one of you theyre talking to. or when someone calls out to one of you and the both of you turn around, it happens all the time and the two of you laugh about it.

-when the two of you are around each other you guys kinda become just one "Leon". the two of you make up for each others flaws. Like how Champion Leon is horrible at directions and always gets lost, you however are great at directions and not getting lost. its like a "help me, help you situation" you guys are the best dynamic duo.

you had just completed one of the many gyms in the gym challenge. as you were on you were on your way out you got stopped by no other than champion Leon!? “hey! you must be that bright new trainer i’ve heard of!” you scratched your cheek, “i guess so.. are people really talking about me that much?” “yup! you’ve become quite the hot topic in the galar region!”

Leon crossed his arms with a smile, “so! what’s your name?” (because surprisingly no one knows your name despite you being kinda popular) “my names Leon!” you smiled, thinking nothing of the name. i mean he must meet other people with the same name as him, so he wouldn’t have a big reaction… right?

Leon’s eyes widened a bit and he smiled brightly, “we have the same name! how cool, haha!” he walked towards you and ruffled your hair. “you’re kinda like a mini me!” “i am..?” “yeah! i want you to do your best in the gym challenge so we could battle each other! got that?” he raised his fist towards you. “you got it!” you nodded and returned the fist bump.

I remember that Plum had difficulty getting Missy to listen to her for a while, right? I have to wonder, in the Ranger AU, does Peach help Plum connect with Missy more? Is there a joyous moment where, after finally connecting fully with Missy, Missy evolves into Dragonair and Peach is looking on proudly as the two are celebrating? And then they both come over to Peach, and thank her, saying they'd never have gotten this far without her help? And then they kiss XD

their start is the same. Missy is unruly, clearly struggling with ADHD, and peach's job back home is to handle difficult pokemon. This little dragon is nothing compared to that. YET STILL at the start when the girls bickered, missy would give away their position, wouldnt listen to commands, was always scooting off, she was a liability.

During their arguing and butting heads phase, peach snuck out at night while plum slept, and took missy with her. They trained in secret so that the groups grade could increase and theyd succeed a lot more missions. Plum learnt of this when missy wouldnt respond to her in the field, but peach whistled once, and plums mon was back in line.

Missy was at this point proof that peach's family methods, which ere barbaric at best, didnt have to be the only way. She used missy as trainign for herself, to learn how to coax a pokemon to do things with a softer touch, reward systems, working with their skills, not just grinding out traits that werent needed for combat.

This of course initially made plum both shocked and then quickly furious. They argued about it. How dare peach go behind her back like that? And of course peach snaps back with the 'i'd not have to if you did your damn job and trained your partner right.' They fight like this for weeks. its tense in the dorm, they avoid each other, all other students wont even TRY to rekindle this mess.

Eventually teachers pick up on their bad energy and send them out to work in the field together, first years, a minor task, nothing crazy, but they'd have to camp out for a long weekend. This gives way to peach actually doing something reasonably mature for her, and apologising. She should have said, or asked, or even shown plum. She wasnt sure it would work, didnt want to offer up faulty training advice to her and seem like she didnt know what she was doing (because this was new territory for peach, carrot not stick methods)

They sort of meet in the middle, and peach starts to show her how to handle missy better. They come back to the academy better off, and the bad energy has passed. Plum learns more and more every day, and the pair train pretty much most evenings after class, tricks and methods masked as games, their pokemon bond, save for val who's always been a distant sort, but she too became tolernat of this new setup.

Eventually in the 3rd year, peach has 6 pokemon on her belt, all of which she loves dearly, and has grown beside. Plum sits happy at 4, and during their final practical exam, faced with a tough foe that was refusing to calm down, Missy evolves, the task is complete, and they pass the final hurdle with flying colours.

Of course the whole time plums been learning how to handle her whole team, but missy was always her first and most precious baby, so that she was now this elegant, strong, capable pokemon was really the icing on the cake for her. Peach just looks at the pair and sees how they mirror each other. Plum really was no different, a little ditsy, but very smart, and elegant, and quick, theyre one in the same, just like she is with val. Its humbling to see them this happy, and perhaps even a little gratifying knowing she had even the tiniest hand in helping them get here.

They have a battle after the evolution, once back at the academy, rested and ready, these little mock fights brought them together, and as their pokemon fought, the girls realised just how far theyd come. plum barely loses, but its to be expected, Val really is a monster, the ace up the sleeve, but the defeat is sweet. they stand there and watch their pokemon mess around in the cool night air, runnign riot in the woods behind the school, sat on a log chatting.

Plum thanks Peach, finally. It comes out so easily after all these years, rivals, friends, lovers? they didnt really know what to call this all. but no matter what, they had each others backs, always. The thank you is shrugged off, peach didnt do it for praise, she did it because it was the right thing to do, but notices the hand on hers appear gently. it stays there, she doesnt flinch away, plum doesnt remove her touch, they watch their pokemon play and sit in comfortable silence.

on the way back, plum takes a gamble, they get ready to sneak back in, clambering up the pipe by their room window, peach pulled sideways by the tug on her hoody that brought her down lower, a warm soft kiss left on her lips that she didnt know what to do about, stood in the dark as plum shimmied her ass up the gutter and into ther room, not a word said.

she stands there. looks at val, looks at booker, they both look back, none know what to say. by the time she gets back in the dorm plums gone to the bathrooms to shower, and shes left sat there wondering what comes next from here? for them?

OK my feelings on the pokemon presents

excited for BOTH animated side series they announced!! i love all the side animated content pokemon has been putting out recently i'm really excited for both the TCG thing and the paldea series i hope it's as good as twilight wings

i really need to play detective pikachu on 3ds before the new one comes out oopsies its like the only pokemon game i've never played but the sequel on switch looks charming even though it was very obviously meant to be a 3ds game that got stuck in dev hell and looks the part

as per usual don't give a single shit about all the mobile gacha garbage but it was nice to see nemona even though her english voice jumpscared me (used to her jp one in horizons)

in speaking of horizons very funny to be like pokemon horizons coming soon... as if i didn't already watch it in japanese. god the pokemon anime being on netflix sucks ass

disappointed about no announcement of a battle tower in the SV DLC... at this point im probably giving up hope. HOWEVER im very excited for the DLCs!!

can we hear about like. n and hilbert. specifically in the hilbertverse. you mentioned them being fast friends and im likeoh..... like. it makes the games even more devasting. and i want to hear about it

n and hilbert good god n and hilbert. very very long summary ahead because jesus there's so much to them.

so like- yes, their first impression upon meeting each other was very much a "this guys not like anything i've ever encountered before. i wonder what his perspective is." which is a nice way of saying wow this guys weird i would love to study him. and despite their clashing opinions on how the world should be (humans and pokemon cohabiting vs humans and pokemon being separated entirely), their shared genuine passion for the well-being of pokemon meant that they listened to each other. before meeting, n had never expected anyone claiming to be a trainer to actually care for their companions, and hilbert had truly never recognized that there were people out there who mistreated pokemon, or took the time to consider the ethics of battling and capturing...

aside from that too, n and hilbert connected in a way that they just hadn't with anyone else. they're both socially awkward, they have reasons for sometimes feeling like outsiders, they both have an undying curiosity towards the world around them. hilbert wasn't an inherently gifted battler like his sister, but he was and is very knowledgeable about pokemon as living beings. he loves them! and n can understand them even better than he himself can, that's as incredible as it is fascinating. and n, even with his disdain for humans, finds himself relieved and enthralled to have found someone like himself, someone who engages with him as an equal.

the two of them almost immediately come to enjoy spending time around one another. they have a lot to talk about- experiences and thoughts so far removed from the other's own that it's sometimes difficult to grasp, but definitely worth hearing. hilberts really excited to have bonded with someone new so shortly into his first real venture into the world on his own (and like... a pretty, charismatic person at that, but that's... well he'll package that away until the time's right, probably). ns found his first genuine relationship with another person, and he can't help but be happy with this.

by nimbasa, n really, truly believes that hilbert's understands them and where theyre coming from, and that if they reveal their association with team plasma, everything will click into place, and hilbert will join their cause alongside him. but when n tells hilbert this... he can't. he just can't. his pokemon are like family to him, and he can't stomach the thought of abandoning them, or the other trainers and pokemon who care about each other being separated just to stop the despicable few. n is crestfallen. and honestly, hilbert is too.

there's something very, very wrong with plasma, and n is oblivious too it. they have to be- hilbert knows n well enough at that point to know with certainty that something is going on behind their back, as hes witnessed firsthand plasma committing acts that n would never forgive. and besides.. n is fully aware of how important hilberts pokemon are to him and vice versa. the idea that n would want, and given the power, force them to separate is a heavy blow.

as much as it hurts both of them, this is where their friendship basically dissolves.

in the aftermath, heartbroken and desperate to ascribe some role that makes his bond with hilbert make sense, n latches onto the idea that perhaps hilbert is his counterpart- destined to face him in a battle for the fate of the future. for hilbert, that sucks even more! he doesn't want to hurt n, oh god he really doesnt. but n continues to mythicize the both of them and their relationship, and n found and was accepted by one of the legendary dragon pokemon, so hilbert faces the hard reality that he has to play into the role.

he's still reluctant as hell, his desire to protect everyone wavering as he tries to determine if stopping n is really the right thing to do, because as much as he hates to admit it, n's right, there ARE people out there who neglect and abuse pokemon, and there always will be as long as people and pokemon live together. can he in good conscious allow that to keep happening, just because he doesn't want him and his friends to be separated? is he being selfish? he's so uncertain in his ideals that zekrom doesn't awaken for him until the very last minute- only after his resolve solidifies upon seeing n's room does it recognize him as its hero.

hilbert's heart breaks for n even as he seizes victory from him. he really does love him, as a friend and otherwise, so to crush his dreams so thoroughly... n, meanwhile, even though n is certainly deeply disappointed in the outcome, looks at hilbert and sees the very incarnation of idealism. even in the face of truth, he strives to change the world in spite of it. and what could make someone more worthy of the title of hero than that?

then, hilbert gets badly injured in front of n, and suddenly n is beyond terrified. devastated by the revelation of how meaningless and fabricated their whole life, their whole identity, everything had been, and now the reason why his friend is suffering, n runs away.

he's upset, frustrated and hurt, but hilbert can't even bring himself to blame n. in fact, he feels horrible for upending his world the way he did, and he's scared because he doesn't know where n is or what they're going to do, or if ghetsis is planning to hurt them. it takes much longer than he would've liked to get anything to go off of, but eventually interpol relents and passes information of potential sightings along to him, and he finally sets off to try and find n. mostly, he just needs to talk to him and make sure he'll be okay.

unfortunately... he does not get the chance to do so. when he flies back to unova in a panic after receiving some kind of distress signal through zekrom, he's ambushed by ghetsis, and consequently sent into a long, comatose-like state within the dark stone.

n, during this time and as previously mentioned, balances their own self deprecation with total idolization of hilbert. hilberts no longer a person them- instead, he's a concept in human form, sent by the universe itself to open the world up to n. this obviously is suuuper unhealthy, but with hilbert gone (and dead, according to ghetsis during the climatic confrontation of bw2), there's not much to challenge n's way of thinking. that is until about 7 years since they last saw each other.

to describe what it's like during the kyubert arc.... is difficult. at the very least, the illusion that hilbert is more than human is shattered- he's painfully so, and he's real again, unlike the deified version of him that n had created in his mind, and that's horrifically evident. they're frozen to the spot, unable to act without extreme risk and thus helpless to do anything but look on and listen.

despite the absolutely terrible, mind melting situation hilbert is in during that time (re: locked in an alien fusion where it's near impossible to separate his mind from the two ancient dragons, overwhelmed mentally emotionally and physically, just having a horrible time) the conscious part of him sees that n is safe. their presence brings him comfort, even through that.

AFTER canon... well. n stays with him this time. after all that, you'd have to pry them from hilberts side with a crowbar. and hilbert, with a shoulder to lean on and someone who understands, even abstractly, what he experienced and how he now feels to try to live as a normal person, is more than glad to have him.

ALSO IRIDA'S SYNC PAIR STORY IS REALLY CUTE... the idea of her just. fucking off into a cave because shes too warm is really cute. poor girl was overheating

but even outside of that, getting that further glimpse into her growth and understanding of the world around her is fucking. awesome

like we get a good idea as to why she was uncomfortable with it to begin with, which makes sense. shes explained this in the games, not wanting to restrain her partners — theyre family to her, and she cares about pokemon deeply. she was just very defensive about it (but of course changes her mind once you fight her before kleavor).

it ultimately makes a lot of sense, and its kinda nice seeing how they address it, because unlike adaman (who just thought they were Neat) irida WAS critical about them because she didn't have all the details

THIS. THIS IS THE SHIT I ADORE. it makes me really happy to see them sticking with how much the M/C inspired irida, because what they did makes irida motivated to strive to be stronger, to understand and travel the world and meet all kinds of new people & their pokemon, and all that good stuff. she really takes it to heart, and its fantastic

irida is a character that we see really develop over the course of PLA and seeing masters kind of build on that in smaller ways is nice. like we already knew she was warmed up to poke balls, but seeing her say that and explain her understanding of it coming from the player is nice. (she then says that because of how hot pasio is, her glaceon will likely be out most of the time anyway. poor girl. shes gonna be irida's Portable AC. oh well LMAO)

okokk enough angst I'll give you guys fluff (maybe a lil sad)hcs i have of the listeners bc its almost new years and then 10 days later its my birthday JDJDDJDKDK

warning bc when i say listeners i mean ALL OF THEM. as in starting from angel ALL THE WAY TO MORGANS LISTENER. i am determined to give everyone a piece bc everyone deserves to be seen. although these are just characters, behind each one is a story to be told and i hope i gave each one their own individual little facts

i tried my best to give them each a lil message from me and 4 personal hcs so that all's fair <33

Angel

Y O U S N O T. hehe lemme run before david kills me for taking his nickname

okokk my angel oc is Filipino so if that shines through in some of these thats why 🤭

as much as it may seem like they cant cook, they're actually really good. The main issue is time. Due to work, Angel relies on premade food to be ready to go. which is why when David offers to cook, Angel can't help but feel so grateful

This is canon i think but they have REALLY BAD insomnia. usually David's presence is a huge help but on the hard days, they do need meds

their family is H U G E. David was worried that the pack was gonna be alot for Angel but they were like, "lol you should see my family"

Baaabe

they remind me of my sister lol

is a squishmellow hoarder. oh theres a new one coming out? yea baaabe is the 1st person at the checkout line

their keys jingle. ITS LIKE A LITTLE DOG BELL. everyone hears the jingle and they're like "oh baaabes here"

asher and baaabe are volunteers are the local animal shelters. they spent 25% of their holiday savings for toys, food, and medicine for all the animals in need

i imagine baaabe works in graphic design so they are very much an organized person. THEYRE LIKE THOSE PEOPLE ON TIKTOK WHO HAVE LIKE CONTAINERS FOR EVERYTHING

dances in ballet. their tiktok is mostly them BANGING their pointes on the floor and milo and aggro starin in the background like 0_o. ballet helps with flexibility which is a MUST if they wanna KICK SOME ASS- i need to calm down dear god.

knows how to play chess and other strategy games. card games especially help simulate strategy for the field of investigating so they really enjoy these types of games

attempts to meet with Marie and Colm once a week. They preach for a healthy relationship with Milo's family

their new house: milo and sweetheart were given a pc by david and angel bc Y E S. now they can play scary games with a BIGGER MONITOR

has nicknames for E V E R Y O N E. oh david? boss baby. asher? pokemon. lovely? pikachu. vincent? whore. ANYWAY-

hates to admit it but they are SO good with kids. they will literally be a jungle gym for the kids and just t-pose

they take value in the small things. their jacket, sam's keys, little things like that. they would never loose anything you give them

back to the kids, theyre weak for sick kids, and overall kids who just have it rough in life. They always try to make it to pack meeting bc although david's lectures are never fun, a kid may need someone to talk to, and darlin would die before they let a kid fall the same way they did

Bright Eyes

this fiesty one (love you twin)

they love being alone. although fred and sam are working on being a lil nicer, bright loves taking in the silence. theres just something so calming about the wind that blows on the trees and the birds chirping at the air

is working with Darlin' on their atitude. they know they have some fault with their turning. they really hate admitting that. But they want to be better and it is a process.

loves girl scout cookies. Its like their lil flag of truce. You know Bright loves you when they share their cookies

they really like hanging out with vincent and lovely. although fred,sam, and darlin are cool, vinnie and lovely just have this sibling energy about them that makes them very approachable. bright always tries to warm vinnie before they go to his house but 8 times out of 10, bright is getting their hair done by lovely while they listen to vincent gush about his cars

Lovely

awe lovely (these are some of @nichiuu 's hcs bc we share the same mind)

is a very calming presence to be around. they just love with so much of their heart and everyone agrees that they are a soul that should be protected

is friends with freelancer. they have nights here its just the two of them and they just gossip about their bfs. gavin and vincent are very happy that they have each other bc it brings a smile to their faces everytime

How are Addisons born and how did Avie Gee adopt Spamton.

I dont imagine addisons being exactly born like lightners, at least the ones we already know in game

The way I imagine it is that the library in kris’ hometown was built in between 1976-1979, and that Cyber World was created around the same time as a result (despite what Queen says, cuz im pretty sure she’s just lying for shits and giggles when she says the dark world first appeared when the dark fountain was made).

This is relevant because I imagine the cyber denizens being created by dark magic and “appearring” out of nowhere at the beginning—some being created as adults but some as children. I imagine theyre like this because the world is brand new and has yet to develop and become more complicated in its design, so at first they generally dont age and are simple in appearance.

However, because they live in a computer world it sometimes “updates,” so when an update comes they evolve kinda like pokemon. In other words, i dont imagine the addisons being originally based off digital adds, but they were first based off spam mail and looked like this:

Initially they were all called Spam.ail, were children, and did not need to eat. But when the first update happened not all spam.ails were updated the same way, and essentially they formed two species called Mailors and Spam.01s.

Mailors were reprogrammed to be messengers, and grew to be in charge of sorting mail and delivering messages. Spam.01s, however, remain unchanged minus in appearance and essentially were still spam.ails with a different file name. Because of the update, though, both species grew more complicated and developed needs akin children from the lightner world. That is, they needed a home, food, and a caretaker. As a result, it was not uncommon for other adult darkners of different species to adopt mailors and spam.01s, because they had no caretakers to take care of them. I imagine most of the darkners of Cyber World start aging, as well, including mailors and spam.01s.

Following the second update, however, Spam.01s were updated to Addisons in 1994, and changed primarily in programming and slightly in appearance. Mailors remained unchanged, though, minus a few differences in appearance.

As for how Avie adopted Spamton, that story kinda revolves towards the end of the first update. Cyber city was starting to develop and become complicated in design, so most darkners started moving there. During this time, spam.ail’s were living in the same area of what would soon be cyber field, though with the construction of Cyber City they soon migrated there and updated in the City afterwards (though this was entirely by coincidence).

One spam.ail, however, didn’t follow them. This was who we know as Spam, though he didnt have a name at that time.

The spam.ail didn’t follow them because it had difficulty making friends with the others, and mostly just preferred doing their own thing to begin with. Thus, he didnt see a need to follow them.

This is where Avie Gee comes in the picture (though it didn’t go by Avie at the time, I haven’t thought of a name yet so let’s continue to call her Avie Gee for now). Towards the end of the update (around 1990) Avie moved to cyber field for a few personal reasons. For starters, she did not get along with other ambyu-lances despite most of them having the same programming. It felt this was because she had other interests outside of what she was programmed for, such as auto and mechanic repair, and realized it was being somewhat criticized for this by other ambyu-lances. Plus, she wanted to drive its own decisions in her own life, so she hoped by moving to a new place she can build a new home and open an auto shop of her own.

When it created a home and finally opened her auto shop, Avie noticed a Spam.ail alone in the fields. She was confused by this, and was wondering why this one hadnt left for Cyber City yet. Avie then grew slightly concerned for the darkner, because it remembered that the recent update changed spam.ails and developed them to be cared by a caretaker. Avie did not know what this was like (she was created as an adult) nor did it know how to take care of a child to begin with. As a result, Avie decided to keep an eye on the darkner—only to watch for when they would update, since it seemed the spam.ail had yet to update (which Avie also thought as strange).

One day, an acid storm rolled over across cyber field. At the time, acid rain wasnt as diluted as it is today, so it could sting someone badly if they hadn’t grown a resistance to it yet. Before the rain, Avie knew it was protected inside her home, though she grew concerned for the spam.ail after looking outside and not seeing them anywhere in sight. Avie worried that the darkner could get hurt in the rain, so after grabbing an umbrella and a jacket she left the house to find the spam.ail in hopes of bringing them back to provide shelter.

A few minutes after leaving, it started to rain. Avie could hear the sizzling of the acid, so it quickened her pace. However, the rain started to downpour, and soon Avie was running in a hurry to find the small darkner. Eventually, Avie came across a ditch and noticed a shivering, glitching figure near the bottom. Avie rushed over and quickly covered them w/ an umbrella. It noticed immediately that the spam.ail was glitching between its current form and a new one; Avie then realized that the darkner was in the process of updating, but was interrupted during the storm and started to glitch as a result.

Avie quickly covered the darkner with her jacket and carried them (while holding the umbrella above the both of them). She rushed home and though the darkner passed out, Avie healed them and decided to sleep with the darkner on the couch—it was turning night, and Avie wanted to keep an eye on them. The next morning, Avie woke up and found the darkner—though asleep—had completed their update and was now a spam.01.

Avie had never taken care of a child, but it tried its best when the spam.01 stayed for the first few days. Though, the little darkner quickly grew a liking to her, and Avie realized though it was inexperienced, she kinda liked the idea of being a caretaker for a child.

From there, Avie then adopted the spam.01 and named him Spam.

hi, announced this on twitter but will announce it here, i am takng a break from ff14. I don't find ti fun anymore, and I hate the community and don't like streaming it. I don't like streaming it due to having to remained focus the entire time doing new or difficult content. it makes me feel bad when I can't be engaging to my viewerbase. I very much like to talk and keep up with you guys and your sillylittle guy jokes. theyre fun.

that being said, it greatly frustrates me that having a house is tied to having a sub. so I will sub every other month to keep my house and thats it.

uh now the worst part about it, I hate the community. theyre the most boring unfunny mfs I have ever had to know. I just never find any of them funny. I think the only 2 funny people are like arthrus and xeno. i don't like how they only want to watch people play ff and nothing else. I do not want to build a community like that. sorry. I'm pretty much one of those streamers I am very upfront that I do variety. If you can't enjoy that then you have to head out you will be miserable. And it's weird to say because I have streamed several games and none of them are that bad nearly except for pokemon community. it's kinda childish. like do not come in and say oh you're not playing ff im leaving its rude.

anyways yea thats just my piece. sorry for people who were into ff and following me for it, but I will not be doing it for an indefinite amount of time. I am unsure as to when I'll stream it again, it's just boring and not a priority for me.

But…. is it really… like Evil? Evil with a Capital E? I mean its just a manifestation of the desire for attention its not like… gonna eat you or anything… I mean…. the evolution shite?? like… whats the worst thing that can come from too much attention…? Entitlement? Main character Syndrome??? what do you mEAN THEY WILL ERASE THE THING THEY'RE TRYING TO IMPERSONATE WHY ARE THEY EVEN IMPERSONATING IN THE FIRST PLACE- oh. oh god.

When the human desire for attention appear, a… kind of… Game… also appear… To get the most attention possible. To be the one in that bright spotlight, eyes all on You. But some… can't. Or don't. Whatever it is, their personality to them is plain and they crave More Attention. They can't get enough of that feeling of everyone looking at them, talking about them. And so… they start to… impersonate. To try and gain as much Attention as possible with the least amount of effort. But it's not enough. Their desire for attention wasn't fulfilled. They want more, and they Can get more. From the Attention the person they're trying to impersonate.

And so here they are, lavishing in the Attention they have, drowning in the fact that everyone's constant waking thought is about them, about tHEM- Or so they thought. Humans get…. bored. After mingling with one thing, they would move on to the next. The attention they get dropped, and they fade into obscurity. And they can't Have that. They need that Attention so desperately again. And so the cycle of impersonating continue.

"Fluffer" is the manifestation of that. That twisted desire of attention morphing into impersonation. They said time is there enemy, but it is not. That is a misguided conclusion. Their Real enemy, is the human's nature to be curious. To always learn and Know new things. Knowledge about one thing can only be so much, and so the Attention shifted to something else. And that's the problem. (This also basically explain why they wont turn into immortals. Waste of energy and time really, as all immortals are destined to be forgotten and fade into obscurity. No matter what they try.)

so Yeah! uhhh sum things up fluffer is the manifestation of the twisted desire for attention turn to impersonating as a result uhhh theyre also dumb for not realizing that Time is not their enemy like CMON YOU HAVE ALL THAT TIME TO FIGURE THAT OUT.

…. I still have complicated feeling about fluffer. Their dick meat is still in my radiation fridge, should throw that out soon probably (I wont) (Maybe paying attention to one specific part of their body can cause fluffy own non existing dick to disappear but also it doesnt exist so paradox.) (or maybe it actually exist and me focusing on it just prove their powers. idk.)

OBVIOUSLY the johto protags theyre all like a group of loitering teenagers to me but in a funny way. I'd explain everything for those three also but like theyre the fucking johto quartet so im gonna give the spotlight to the others lol

ok beyond that, N obviously. N keeps ending up with new younger siblings like this isnt new so after father-or-foe N quickly gets used to Silver's presence. He does talk to his Sneasel at some point and learn about how Silver used to act, at first he's obviously a little ticked but he does realize that hes had a similar turn-around (having to learn the dynamic between a trainer and pokemon at some point, just from 2 different ways). Still, Sneasel talks about Silver in such high regard that N is astounded.

When the two arent part of a battle on Pasio or something they like to talk a LOT. Mainly Silver complains about other people (like idk. Clair being Clair or Blue not shutting up about Red) and N chuckles and tells him about his travels to other regions or rambles about various other things he knows a lot about.

Silver is just wondering when this tall motherfucker is gonna stop talking about ferris wheels leave him alone (like he's said about every other person he's enjoyed hanging out with)

Blue is like the begrudging (<- lie) older brother friend to all the johto quartet and that especially includes Silver.

Blue sees a bit of himself in the kid when he first hears about him from Ethan, he knows what it feels like wanting to be strong but always being just out of reach so when he finally meets Silver he actually manages to not piss him off within the first five minutes or so of talking. He tells Silver that if he wants, he can come to the Viridian City Gym every so often and Blue can give him some pointers and teach him some things he learned on his journey. Silver thinks it's stupid and laughs it off like HEH why would i do that (he takes blue up on the offer like a week later LOL)

Red has barely had one-on-one moments with Silver but when they meet for the first time in his mind hes kinda like "OH SHIT THAT SCIENTIST WASNT LYING. THAT GIOVANNIS KID CAN RED HAIR. I THOUGHT THAT WAS ALL A JOKE..." (im referring to a scientist you see in FRLG a few times, i thiiiink his name is gideon? He tells the player that Giovanni's kid has red hair)

But anyways. Silver has challenged Red a few times (AND OBVIOUSLY LOST) and Red actually thinks of Silver as highly as he does the other johto kids. He's curious to see Silver come to his full potential as a trainer cus he is pretty strong the first time they battle, even though Silver is still learning to trust and care for his pokemon at the time.

Silver would never admit it but he looks up to Red and Blue. Obviously, because they are some of the strongest trainers on the fucking earth. That being said if Silver has to listen to Blue talk about Red one more time hes pushing him off of a bridge

niets rejections of every decent QOL change that are for the sake of "they were in new pokemon games and i dont like new pokemon games theyre too EASY" never fails to make my blood boil bc as someone who used to also be against a lot of qol changes in the games (bottle caps, nature mints) ive come to realize how helpful they are and how they really do not change anything and use them often

its just frustratingly how one of his reasons for nature mints are "itll prevent people from wanting to nature hunt" and that is so entirely not true. bc i still nature hunt in the actual game, where they are easier to obtain. you could EASILY make them a tournament token prize. no one is going to just...give up nature hunting in place of spending their tokens on a mint but someone who was nature hunting and got the wrong typed melan, on a site where their rates are nerfed to hell, should be able to fucking use a mint to change it idk. sorry im getting angry over this again it just drives me crazy how dense he is and how little he understands of actually anything. i keep considering reviving a nature change suggestion thread just to point out his flawed reasoning of "itll nerf the breeding market" or what ever but its just not worth it. also for the 5th time not having vmax pokemon makes me genuinely depressed bc i really enjoy those designs.

He's so dumb. I mean, just moronic. Blaming it on nerfing the breeding market and all that is just excused he uses I think because he knows him throwing a fit about not liking the new games isn't enough. Also I firmly believe he's too lazy to add them in.

i almost forgot somehow, but im playing street fighter 6! super fun and i love the cast except for when the game is too hard and i feel overwhelmed by all the tech and things you have to do to learn characters :< at least they are all hot... 😔✊ but also the like player characters you can make are cool. it's a very good character creator and i always love it when games have that for my roleplaying brain. but again theres too much stuff and it takes too much time to get i dont wanna have to unlock moves :<

2 - Do you like playing with mods?

yes! mods are so good... you can tweak your experience to be just a little more comfortable, or revamp the whole thing. i usually only go through the effort of getting them when its a game i really like, like the binding of isaac or monster hunter or smth. i get all the enjoyment i can out of the base game, then do mods. its fun! theres also just cosmetic mods that change like appearances and audio and stuff like that, and those can get kinda goofy so probably i'd also wait til i'd done enough of the base game in general, but those are really good too!!

6 - Last game you finished?

uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hmmm i guess i would say... even though this is a replay, og pokemon platinum (emulated) i skipped the "buying the new remade game out of nostalgia" step and just went back the original without any of the annoying wait times due to emulation lol i like doing challenge runs on it like monotypes and nuzlockes, usually sort of building a team to a certain "character" (another roleplay thing, i really like doing that :p), its pretty fun! i dont always finish runs but theyre certainly enjoyable

13 - A series you’ve enjoyed since your early days of gaming and still enjoy to this day whether it still has games coming out or is one you return to?

i have so many of these!!! well, they more apply in a "single game i always come back to" sense, but still

i have to say smite first bc i still play that game sooo much (almost 3000 hrs ack...) the third person moba + characters u play as are gods from various mythologies combination is really good, hi-rez kinda struck gold with that

theres also left 4 dead of course (but really its l4d2 since it has all of l4d1's stuff) which ive played since i was a kid... its fun i love it! def a favorite of mine... altho the periods i play it are kinda intermittent

binding of isaac series... i played the original flash game which was not as fun but it was a more like, meaningful experience. which is definitely part due to the amazing music, and possibly in part due to that unfairness making it feel hopeless. i only play rebirth these days of course because it is much bigger and better in terms of gameplay, and gameplay is pretty important for roguelikes lol, but you can't talk about rebirth without talking about the original! also rebirth doesnt have good music :(( the only actually good track is the burning basement one (which is really good, but not enough to make up for a whole soundtrack of meh songs). although the recently added dogma fight song is great too, the cathedral ost is good, and the hush fight is one i personally like... other than that its all :l

oh and i still play long live the queen every now and then. a sequels coming out soon which is great!! but its not like the same setting where youre a princess trying to become queen and also theres cool magic which is sad... also the deaths in that game are adorable i love them

look at it isn't it cute. go play this game everyone its fun you have to stop a princess from dying. i like how its written too. i recommend 👍
