how i hc duke's relationships with the other (main) bats

bruce: mentor/friend/weird HS teacher u bond with kinda thing, i think bruce on his end still feels simmering guilt for not being there for duke when he needed him, duke feel simmering resentment towards bruce for being another adult that left him, this will boil over at some point but then they'll get over it, they will never be that dumb nuclear found family thing, i think doug and elaine would like bruce tho so maybe one of those friend of the family situations where u call someone ur not related to aunt/uncle

cass: very very good friends, would probably consider her a sister from another mister if u will, i would hesitate to call her a best friend *gestures at all of war* but i think she's up there, i really love the headcanon that there is some tension on duke's end because cass has the ability to be more efficient but she actively chooses not to, i think for a long time duke is going to be holding some unhealthy and unrealistic standards both for himself and also people around him, like everything else this causes tension then erupts before it gets resolved, cass i think would know about said tension the whole time but have no idea how to bring up the issue or how to even think about resolving it so it drags on

dick: i think duke holds a grudge for the robin war thing, and i think he fucking should iykyk, (the way he just leaves duke on a roof??? with cops????, i was shouting at my fucking comic) idk i think dick would probably make light of it for a while but duke would be real fucking clear that he remembers and won't be forgiving and forgetting any time soon, i think they're acquaintances at best but realistically, coworkers

damian: like cass Extremely good friends, found family if you will, honestly i think they got a lot of their interpersonal issues out of the way before duke becomes signal, so really its a matter of time before they actually become friends and not just acquaintances, they're old man young to me, i think they do old man things like feed birds in the park and play Go together, i think damian is probably one of the only people duke doesn't hold to his standards, he thinks damian deserves to be a kid, making damian be a kid is probably some of the only time that duke is forced to relax by proxy, therefore duke and damian's friendship is strongly encouraged by bruce who is out of his depth for what to do with both of them and throwing them at each other seems to be working (👍 parenting)

tim: i honestly don't think they know each other well, like i think they may have talked once??? so i don't have shit to base their relationship off, generally i think they're amicable if distant, like a coworker you say hi to at the coffee machine

babs: i Need them to interact, honestly it would be really funny if duke meets babs for the first time as oracle and he's just like??? you're my favorite librarian? and babs is like !! we missed you when you stopped volunteering!!! and duke has to be like yeah that was the joker, i think they would have a good relationship, they don't work together all that much cause oracle doesn't run duke's ops and duke isn't usually on the night shift but they know they can call each other in if they need. one of duke's few trusted AdultsTM

jason: i think rocky at the start, duke would definitely have some Memories of the red hood, that would probably be a hill to overcome, but i generally think that jason will eventually move into a more positive position in the city even with the shadows of all that stuff following him ofc. they are absolute Assholes to each other in a way that is clearly affection, jason will let duke get away with anything up to and including murder, duke will never let jason get away with anything, its like a typo in the group chat

steph: re same as tim, and babs practically nothing to base the relationship on BUT i think they would get on like a house on fire, like cass: sister from another mister energy, steph is giving duke the "you just found out ur dad is a supervillain" support he needs, they are the only bats successfully going to college they probably go to events on campus together, idk they have so much potential as the forgotten robins and all that, i think they should bully bruce together that would be so fun.

Details I noticed in The Last Wish pt 2

There are eight tally marks next to Puss's wanted poster, one for each life

When Puss is basking in the applause after he defeats the giant, there's a lady in a wheelchair on the left side of the crowd

After the Doctor tells him he needs to retire, Puss says, "Are you the village comedian as well?"

In the fight against Death in the bar, Puss actually does cut a chunk of Death's fur off. Like we know that Puss is a good fighter, but this solidifies the fact that when he's actually putting all his effort into it, not preforming like he was with the giant, he is a crazy force to be reconned with. Which then in turns shows how powerful Death is. But kudos to Puss; he may brag constantly but at least he does actually have the skills to back it up

The characters actually get dirty. This happens after Puss swims through the sewer and then walks through the woods but also to all of the characters as they go through the Dark Forest. Everyone gets progressively dirtier and more scraped up

When Puss starts singing while holding his funeral at Mama Luna's, he says, "Who is your favorite fearless hero? You were, you were."

When they're eating at the kibble trough and Perrito keeps hitting Puss with his tail, Puss elbows him as he tries to get him to stop it

Puss must have made some friends, or acquaintances at least, while at Mama Luna's because he nods at a cream and white cat, who nods back, when him and Perrito walk past

When the crime family arrives, Mama says, "Listen to your sister, Baby!" To which Baby responds with, "She's not my sister, she's a fugitive orphan!!" Idk, his delivery there always gets me lol

While the bears ransack her house, Mama Luna calls out, "You think this is the first time I've been stuck in a piano???" ...Which makes me have a lot of questions about her life lol

The way Perrito says, "If this Puss in Boots is such a big deal, maybe we shouldn't be desecrating his grave :D" with a big smile on his face as he digs it up lol

With every character, with the exception of Kitty, there's a big build up before they show their face. Puss: we see his boots and people's reactions while he flips around for quite a while before he finally lifts his hat up, the Doctor: we hear him first and then see his back, the three bear crime family: we get a POV shot from Golid as she's riding on their backs and then they're backlit, Mama Luna: we see her dress and then Puss' reaction, Perrito: we see him from behind and then Puss' reaction, Jack Horner: we see his shadow then a poster of him as a kid and then close ups of him eating a pie, the Serpent Sisters: we see them from above/behind and then a close up of the chest, Ethical Bug: lots of glowing/sparkles and Jack's reaction. Kitty is the only character who almost instantly gets a face reveal (even tho we briefly only see her eyes for a second), probably for the shock value of her dramatic reveal

While Puss and Kitty are hiding behind the chest after taking the map, Jack says, "Aha! There it is!" Puss lets out a sigh of relief after realizing that Jack was referring to the Midas touch and not their hiding spot. Just all the little details that show he's more on edge and anxious than he was before his encounter with Death

During the fight/chase for the map in the factory, Goldi smiles and nods in the top left corner while Papa says "You shouldn't have done that, mate" after Puss hits him in the nose with his stick

Kitty's path through the Dark Forest consists of the swamp of infinite sorrows, the mountains of misery, and the abyss of eternal loneliness. I think she might give Puss a good run for his money on who's the most depressed lol

Puss starts scratching at his beard as early as the pocket full of posies

In Honor of Indigenous Awareness Month here's a quick overview what my life has looked like being Indigenous

My parents didn't raise me Native, bc they were told that being white was better. So I didn't have much other than just the dreamcatchers on the walls and some stories my Grandma told me.

It wasn't until I had a dream about some ones funeral the night they passed in their sleep that Grandma told me it was bc of me being Native.

I didn't know what that was supposed to mean. I didn't know what that meant to me.

Flash forward a few years, I've had a couple dreams here and there but more-so I've been hungry. I'd been searching the internet, searching books, asking my grandma questions. Information, correct information at that, was hard to come by. But when I found the right sources, oh boy was there so much. Everything was so vibrant, everything felt familiar. It was more interesting than learning about the Greeks in class, any history lesson, any religion less, it was full and enticing and beautiful, but we never learned about it. Because the U.S. would rather let something this beautiful be swept under the rug rather than admitting to a genocide.

I'm more into my culture now. My family is more into my culture now. I'm learning my language. I've connected with new relatives.

I will never forget the day that my Grandma told me she was proud of me for making her and the family better.

I've been having more dreams. My spirit guide (a black indigenous man who when i first met offered my a drink at a bar) always warns me when something bad is about to happen, or I'm making the right choice about a big decision.

But I've been laughed at for my name. Nobody can say it right.

I cannot register for enrollment in the tribe, despite my Grandma being full blood. It just so happened that my Grandma's parents were from two separate tribes, and the Blood Quantum only takes one. Thats why I don't count, even tho I have that blood from my mother's side, and some extra from my Father, who is mostly yaqui but was adopted.

My relative said "you know what horses, dogs, and Indians all have in common"

The government requires them to have a pedigree

No white person ever knows what a blood quantum is. I have to explain it. It's current and active genocide.

Nobody knows about ICWA. I wrote my final paper on it. My professor gave me a personalized note saying that he thinks that I'm going to go places, and that was one of the best essays he got. He could feel my passion through the page. My people are dying.

When I said a Native prayer because I was showing off how much I had learned, a acquaintance started making nonsense noise at me, making fun of the way I sounded.

When I smudged at a Halloween Party because some people wanted me to help protect them for evil, some people started laughing that I was doing witch craft.

I'm three times as likely to get sexually assaulted. Not by other Native people. By White people.

People don't say I look Native. But if you look for more than one second, that's wrong. I get pale in the winter but really dark in the summer, like a lot of Natives. My face is Native. I have my mother's cheekbones. I wear my weight like a every Native I've ever seen about my size. My hair is dark. My eyes squint when I smile. I was always told to take photos again and again bc I was blinking. I didn't know that was a Native thing. My Grandma said people don't think I'm Native because they're so stupid they'd only realize if I wore a beaded headband and a ribbon skirt.

I have to explain and ask teachers all the time if they know something they are showing in class is racists. Sometimes its a yes, and we'll talk about that, or a no, but can you talk about that. My brother who is 13 was never taught about what happened to the native people, and only knew because I told him. I've always have had to know, because nobody else does.

I left the church after the curtain was pulled back. My Grandma who is 70 was forced into a Catholic School when she was young. The priest raped the girls

I was told never to go to the reservation. My mom remembers it as poverty, going to the salvation army and picking up clothes. My grandma remembers it as the place where she was an alcoholic, and she's fought to stay sober for more than half her life now but that only started when she left. My Aunt remembers it as the place her mama got beat by her good for nothing White Ex Husband.

I have no representation. All the old shit is always racist. I'm used as a figure head at sports and as decorations, I'm not human to them.

Nobody admits the Genocide is currently happening.

My sister was pulled in without her permission to the front office with no warning to talk for morning announcements how's she just like the rest of the white kids despite being Native. They gave her a script. Then afterwords they had the audacity to ask for a photo of her in her childhood doing 'native things'. Mom laughed and said she should've told her she didn't have any photos because she was "just like them".

I realized school was never for me, because I was always learn better the Indian way.

Whenever I see a Native person in the wild, and they notice me, there is already a bond there. If I asked them for anything, to talk, for a ride, they would give it to me. If they did so, so would I. My native friends i met in college I adored like they were my cousins.

I've learned that despite me being raised white, I was actually raised Native. My parents give and give and give. They give to the community, their lives are dedicated to help people. That's the Native way. We bleed compassion, and if someone in my community needs my last 5 bucks, they'll get it because I know someone else in my community will help me to not starve, and when they are starving I'll help them too.

So an extra funny part about Darius & Willow's weird friendship re: him helping her get ready for her date, is Darius used to essentially be Harvey's boss for many years

Like it was already a little strange initially for Gilbert & Harvey that their daughter started dating the ex-Golden Guard/nephew of the deceased emperor, but one of his parents is the ex-Abomination Coven Head too??

First Willow befriended THE Blight family's youngest kid years back, and now she's dating the adoptive kid of a Coven Head, girl just keeps collecting kids related to very important figure heads her dads have worked with/for, I love that for her. Gotta be a 🤏 weird for them tho haha

I know there's a post in my drafts somewhere talking about this exact thing. Like!!! Darius was Harvey's boss!!! That's hilarious!!!!

I like the idea that Harvey and Gil were initially in the dark about Hunter and Darius's relationship. Like when Hunter started dating their daughter, they obviously wanted to invite him and his family over for dinner. (Willow had to repeatedly beg them not to be embarrassing.) So of course, Hunter brought Camila, Luz and Vee along. At this point in time, they're his set-in-stone family, while he and Darius are still kinda in this grey area.

And oh god the Parks LOVE Camila. She's a treasure. She's so sweet. She knows very little about this world so she asks them questions about themselves and their jobs and listens with rapt attention. And the Parks know little about her world so they're just as invested. And even though the food they served made Camila throw up, she took it like a champ. They got along so well.

So they're all proud of themselves for having a WONDERFUL relationship with their daughter's boyfriend's family. They're so good at being functional sociable adults. (I see Harvey as the kinda guy who gets a rush of exhilaration every time he performs adulthood correctly.)

Anyway it's not until a few months later when they're well acquainted with Hunter and their daughter's relationship with him that Willow is like. "Oh, by the way. Hunter's grouchy father figure has invited us over for dinner. He wants to meet you guys."

Which just has Harvey and Gil like "Huh???????" There's ANOTHER parent they have to form a relationship with now??????

And OH GOD. When Harvey finds out who this man is, he goes fucking BONKERS. That's the guy!!!! That's the MAIN guy!!!!! He worked for that guy!!!!!!! And though the Coven system has been abolished, I don't think Harvey can really get that image of Darius the Boss Man out of his head.

After all Harvey is a guy who's very concerned with appearances and making connections for the sake of your career. And Darius still has a huge reputation in the abomination field. So he believes it's in his family's best interest that they remain civil with him.

Like Harvey worked hard while in that Coven and he only met Darius like once or twice. So he flew relatively under the radar. Gave Darius no real reason to dislike him. It was fine.

So the idea of going to his HOUSE and having dinner with him is fucking batshit. Because now he has to make an IMPRESSION.

He panics the whole week and then on the night they're about to leave for the Deamonne residence, he's bustling around making sure He, Gilbert and Willow look presentable and insisting that they all behave themselves. A million times worse than Willow was the first time Hunter came over.

Gilbert, combing his hair: Well, how do I look, Harv? Do you think I'll impress your boyfriend Darius looking so neat and polished? :)

Harvey, straightening his collar: Oh, your sense of humor is alive and well, I see. Fantastic. Make him laugh if you can. I love you.

Willow, polishing her boots after Harvey told her they weren't shiny enough: He's not worth all this effort y'know. He might think he is but he's just some guy at the end of the day.

Harvey, meticulously trimming his beard: Please don't tell me you've ever spoken to him like that.

Willow, who would prefer not to give her dad an aneurysm right now: Of course not 💕

Anyway I absolutely see Darius as somebody who may act like he really doesn't give a shit about anybody who's not in his inner circle but at the same time, he would still be the kind of boss who goes to the effort of learning all the witches in his old Coven by name.

So when he opens up the door and warmly announces "Harvey Park! Wonderful to see you again." Harvey nearly fucking passes out from shock.

Now I KNOW, I know in my heart Willow will not obey that order to behave herself. Once she and Darius are seated at the same table, they are going at it. It is impossible not to.

Which has Harvey sweating BUCKETS at first, especially with how Gilbert barely tries to hold it in before he's in peals of laughter at their daughter's retorts. Even Hunter is snickering.

It takes him a bit to get accustomed to how this dynamic works, just like Hunter, but Harvey does eventually realize that Darius and Willow's rivalry comes from familiarity more than anything. And that's when Harvey realizes that he understands.

Because like!!! Oh!!!! It's a little bit like Harvey and Hunter.

Similarly to how Darius sees his younger self in Willow, Harvey sees his younger self in Hunter. And they're not nearly as witty and graceful as the former two, but two personalities that are so very similar sometimes leads to clashing.

Not even of the antagonistic variety. They're both just nerds who love to info dump and they've both read the same books so they're often very competitive over who can get the words out the fastest and be the one to share the Fun Fact. Like:

Harvey: And the thing about mindscapes is--

Hunter: They reflect the individual!

Harvey: I knew that, yes. I was just gonna tell them that.

Hunter: You were talking too slow so I helped :)

Harvey: Thanks, Hunter.

Hunter: No problem :)

Initially, while the two were still getting used to each other, Hunter used to be so embarrassed by his tendency to speak over Harvey. He just got nervous and blurted shit out to prove he was smart and was terrified Willow's dad wasn't gonna like him. But on the flipside, Harvey, who was initially wary of Hunter, is now like "wow he's just like me fr" And starts to encourage this playful sort of "rivalry" which Hunter is aware is just a joke. And though they DO get on each others nerves, they have an understanding.

That's it!!! That's exactly what Willow and Darius got going on!!!!!

Anyway it's nice that they get to do this and Harvey actually gets an opportunity to talk to Darius in a more casual setting so he can see him in another light that's not the Big Boss Man. Cuz Harvey is crazy smart when it comes to abomination magic, as is Darius. So they actually gel really well. But the boss-employee barrier always prevented them from actually being friends.

Also Gilbert manages to make Darius laugh several times, a feat many cannot do, so Harvey kissed him senseless after they got home. 💕

*pokes head out of the great expanse of information that is the internet* DID I HEAR YOU SAY KAEYA ZHONGLI BESTIES AGENDA do elaborate because I am. I am. in need.

AHAHAAHAHAHAHAH YES YOU DID HEAR CORRECTLY. Look They have so much inherent angst based on Kaeya's origins and Zhongli's orgins. And I'm definitely going to get into some fanon/headcanon territory here. But like- I headcanon that whatever part Zhongli played in destroying Khaenri'ah he feels horrible about it. Meeting Kaeya would be a grenade of emotions for him. Like on one hand: Hey! This guy is a living Khaenri'ahn, maybe i can do small things to pay him for what I've done Not that I could ever total repay it ON the other: OH SHOOT I MESSED UP SO BAD BY HIM I SHOULD JUST NEVER SPEAK TO HIM EVER AND IF HE WANTS ME TO PAY FOR MY CRIMES I WILL. Initially Zhongli would probably just be a good ole formal acquaintance. Being pretty normal about everything (he's good at compartmentalizing and burying pain) except in weird instances where he'd get really intensely invested in Helping Kaeya. Kaeya is like "Okay this dude is strange. Nice! But strange." Eventually the truth would come to light and that would be a mess, not exactly sure how it would go down? I usually play with the idea of Kaeya being pretty angry with Zhongli and softening when he realizes how much Zhongli regrets and how human he is. The start of their actual friendship would be climbing over the hurdle of Zhongli.... well being overly gracious essentially?

Kaeya would have to slap him being like "Dude you need to not bend to my every request for star's sake." Like, kaeya can understand given how much he feels like he messed up, but at this point he genuinely wants to be friends with Zhongli, not have Zhongli be his dutiful archon butler. It'd take a bit for Zhongli to shake the behavior because the guilt complex runs DEEP. Also Kaeya would have to open a lot. Zhongli is old as dirt (ha) So he can probably see through Kaeya waaaay more than he's comfortable with. Zhongli is thankfully not horribly heavy handed? But I can see him being somewhat petty or poking at Kaeya before he's ready.

Kaeya would have the bonus of Zhongli already knowing his Origins! But he would still have to contest with worrying about him flipping out over the spy thing (not to mention Zhongli was the Contracts lord.) Zhongli would also not be super cool with kaeya's more reckless and under-explained stunts. Its probably already somewhat nervewracking for him that most of his friends are mortal. Them making ill-advised decisions would not sit well with him. but with time I think they'd have a beautiful friendship! They're both protectors and have Older Family member vibes (grandpa and older brother) Zhongli would be invested in seeing Kaeya grow past his trauma and the horrible things that happened to him and his people. And Kaeya would be invested in seeing Zhongli live a happy unburdened life (he understands too well holding what feels like the weight of the world.)

And just in general I think the way they can play off of each other is really fun? Just personality wise. They're both really smart but also feel like they'd have a great time discussing stuff over tea, Really random or inane stuff. I imagine they're both kinda fed up with the Anime Plot they're born into xD

I feel like they're both little things people. LIke zhongli going on and on about the flowers being beautiful this morning and Kaeya would just be sitting there like "yeah :]" They realize how much that stuff matters.

Somebody save Zhongli if Hu Tao and Kaeya are in the same room tho. SFDLSDIHGDFIGLDHFGLASIDGHDFG Also they'd both be doing "Woe, therapy be upon ye" at each other SADLFIHSDGLIDFHGDFGHFG

Also both of them adore kids. ;;v;; The capacity they have for understanding each other's pain. Just being the "stop being strong, I know, you can't hide it from me." and "i'm sorry you have this burden, you should've never had it." and "i'm so afraid of what I am harming the people I love." THere could be so much solidarity and comfort and understanding. And conflict and frustration too! I can see them easily being very hypocritical with each other without intending too xD

So yeah! Just their whole deal can be so fascinating and fun, both of them would have so much baggage to work through with each other. And I can see every step of that journey being delightfully fun to dig into and play out in different ways!

i finally figure out a gender label that feels so comfortable and right. i'm agender !!!! i'm still using she/they pronouns. i don't care what pronouns folks uses for me, like if someone used he/him pronouns i wouldn't correct them. i prefer it when someone uses sir, or more masc terms than being called a lady. im fine with girlie tho!!! because girlie is a state of mind, its gender neutral for me lol

i don't mind when close family/friends only uses she pronouns, thats what they're used to and honestly it doesn't bother me. but outside of that group of people, i would prefer if folks used both my preferred pronouns and not just one or the other. use both!! switch it up!! although i think i prefer strangers and acquaintances to use them pronouns more than she !!!

basically if you knew me before i changed my gender, you can refer to me as she pronouns only (if you want) but anyone else, please use both of the pronouns.

Blue (US sans) is the older brother! The Sans are always the older brother, no matter the au or the dynamic between the skeleton brothers. It's one of the few constants of the multiverse!

Blue isn't like Blueberry. He's still an adult, but he holds a lot of energy and positivty towards people. He believes that everyone can be good no matter what!

He trains regularly with Alphys. Originally it was actually sparring, but Alphys eventually transfered it over to cooking lessons.

He doesn't have a lot of friends, a lot of the Monsters in Snowdin find him childish, or they don't like his energy. So despite his dreams of popularity and love, he really only has Alphys and his brother

He's desprete to join the royal guard, like, he camped outside Alphys door for a week, begging for a chance.

Stretch (US papyrus) is the younger brother, he's a quiet nerd. When he was a babybones, Blue had to practically drag him away from his books.

He used to work in the labs in Hotlands with Undyne, eventually switching to patroling with his brother, for unknown reasons.

He hangs around muffets alot, at this point he's probably made her the richest monster in the Underground, with how much money he spends there.

He has a lot of acquaintances but not many friends. He finds it easy to talk to people (Hint: just make them laugh with puns) but Stretch is very closed off. It takes a lot to break down his walls and get closer to him.

US Asgore is a terrible cook, he trys, really. But it's not the same as Toriels.

he's over three thousand years old! He was born just around the same time that humans started building up civilsations.

US Asgore wasn't royalty until he married Toriel.

Once on the surface, they do rekindle their love for each other.

Also he and Stretch get along. Stretch used to waste time outside the Ruins door practising puns. One day Asgore joined in and it became a daily thing.

Asgores lonely. He doesn't say it but he is. The Ruins monsters are intimdated by him and he can't leave the Ruins, in fear of having to face his ex-wife again

US Toriel is a woman of many regrets. She hates the position she's put herself and the rest of Monsterkind in. She hates the way she treated Asgore, the way she treated her family.

Although she is a very good cook. Creating and trying new recipes is a guilty pleasure hobby she often indulges in.

She gives a lot of the excess to US Alphys! Who's very grateful for the good food

US Chara is around 12 when they fall and they're non-binary.

US Chara to me feels more like they would have a bravery soul than a determined one. You have to be pretty brave to run away from your home and scale all the way up a mountain all by yourself.

Also, yeah, their homelife wasn't the greatest. They were pretty neglected by their parents. And when their parents did pay attention to them, it was usually to beat them.

It made them into a very violent person, and when they first fell down into the Underground, they solved a lot of their encounters by just beating the shit out of the Monsters.

they never killed any of them though, their moral compass was too strong for them to do that.

When they leave Asgore, they sorta learn to chill out. They start seeing the value in pasificism and resist the urge to punch anyone again.

Once they break the barrier, they go to live with Asgore. The human government determines that Chara's parents were unsuitable to live with pretty quickly. When Asgore and Toriel get back together they all live together as one happy family.

Also Stretch and Chara totally worked together to help the two fall back in love. Real RomCom stuff lol.

US Undyne is a huge nerd lol. She works in the lab in Hotland and complains everyday without fail about the heat.

She focuses more on inventing new types of weapons for Monsters to use against humans then anything else.

Which leaves Hotlands remarkable less dangerous.

She watches anime, but keeps it a secret. She doesn't know of anyone watches the human media as well.

She's still really loud and exuberant. Though she's not as muscly or strong as her UT counterpart. She's still just as likely to pull you into a headlock and give you a noogie, while laughing and calling you a "TOTAL WEENIE!!"

Sander Sides x Twisted Wonderland anyone?

I've recently picked up my hyperfixation on Sander Sides, and as the genius I am I thought of making a crossover between one of my favorite games and Sander Sides!

Virgil

Starting off strong with my personal favorite. So let's start off with saying he and Logan kinda grew up together because I love platonic Analogical, they're from the Shaftlands! As for the school, he attended NRC till his 3rd year! But after a HUGE fight with Janus (his second closest friend) he decided to change school and attend Noble Bell College. His previous dorm in NRC was Ignihyde, he was pretty much only friends with Ortho and saw Idia like twice in 2 years. (They met each other one night when they had both went out to get energy drinks from the vending machine, and the second time was because of Ortho dragging Idia with him to give a special gift to Virgil.)

Janus

Our favorite snake boy, Janus. He grew up in Briar Valley, being a snake fae. Half of his face is covered in scales and has heterocromia, his left eye is light brown while his right one is bright yellow and snake like. He attendes NRC and is a 3rd year from Octavinelle. (He might have beef with Azul) He's not the absolute worst but he's not a saint either, tho if you ask Virgil he won't agree with me. He's pretty influential and has many 'acquaintances' in all the dorms so he's always up everybody's business. (Azul is impressed)

Remus

The og rat king! Twin brother and son of the famous Royal family from a kingdom not too far from Sage's Island. Childhood friend of Patton and younger twin of Roman, he's a menace. He's the second born which means he won't become king, but he hardly cares about royalty, he instead prefers to focus on "more important" matters like how to annoy his dorm leader. Who is Leona btw, yes Remus is in Savanaclaw, he's not a hybrid or anything of the sort but he sure is fast and athletic and he's surprisingly on par with some of the other members who *are* hybrids. (Leona was almost impressed) He's pretty well known for his constant pranks on other students and weird behavior other than the fact that he's a prince. His and Roman relationship isn't the best but not Leona and Falena level- fortunately.

Remy

Also well known as Azul's main source of income with how much money he spends on coffee at Mostro Lounge everyday. (Azul just gave him a card so he could always go to them instead of going to other cafes) He's well-known in NRC for the sole reason of him dating a RSA student, aka their sworn enemy. Also because of his powerful magic but they shouldn't be surprised as he is from Diasomnia dorm. He's a pretty chill guy and was friends with Virgil before he moved, now they hardly see/talk to each other. He's an older brother figure to a lot of people but he's hardly seen around anymore since he's a 4th year and he's working on his off campus education.

Might make a part 2 with the light sides!

a/n: this is my first ever tumblr fic. i've written before, but not where so many people can see it. okay maybe i lied, i write on quotev too. i got an idea to write this bc a friend mentioned how tonowari and ronal would be like as teens and it's been in my head for some time now. this is just a little headcannon thingy, so I'm not saying this was how they actually were. this may be the only part but i'm willing to write more if asked.

plot inspired by the trope: he fell first, but she fell harder.

ziranya's words temporarily stun her. still chewing the fruit in her hand, she looked towards where her mate was sitting.

his eyes dart away once her's met them, continuing to tend to the fishing nets and harvests.

swirya slightly nudged her shoulder. "are you sure about what you said? no strings attached?" the other girls stifled a laugh, ronal then rolling her eyes at her remark.

ronal went into thought after hearing her question. she was sure they both weren't into each other, even asking him about it a few months ago on the day they were to be together, to become a pair that will one day lead the metkayina people. it was mutual, they were both together for only convenience.

however, recent weeks have been revealing things, and ronal wasn't so sure anymore.

ronal glanced from her supposed lover back to the fruit in her hand, only to find it consumed entirely, and what was left was its seeds. ronal took this as an opportunity to get away, needing a break.

she stood up suddenly, scaring the other girls. "i'll be off to make yovo paste." she revealed the black seeds in her hands to further clarify herself. "with these seeds." she then stomped through the sand and up to the woven path that connected all the maruis.

however, she could still hear the girls' teasing from behind her, knowing she wasn't actually going to make any paste. yet. "oh, how diligent our tsakarem is," ax'aley called out, her high-pitched voice laced with playful sarcasm. "you'll be such a good tsahìk!" ziranya continued.

she shook her head in amusement, already entering her marui.

she tossed the yovo seeds into a bowl, hanging just by her sleeping hammock. she then laid there, catching a glimpse of her friends diving into the sea water through the small opening of the marui beside her.

ronal picked up a scripture written for ascending tsakarems, reading and memorizing different chants, prayers, and types of plants and materials often used for healing. she eventually came across the uses of the yovo tree and the significant uses of each part of the tree. her eyes drifted over to the use of its seeds. she had to use them before they dry out and become unable to grow.

everything outside seemed to be quieter when ronal was in her own world. learning about medicine was often how she spent her time and found peace. everything about it piqued her interest. if she wasn't doing anything related to what she had read and learnt, she'd probably be sleeping.

eclipse settled in not long after, the glittering stars speckled in the sky not doing much to help her see the writings on the paper. it's the time where the clan would finish their daily work and return home to their family maruis and loved ones, sharing a warm night.

however, she wouldn't consider the person who'd just entered the marui her "loved one".

he was more of an... acquaintance?

tonowari lifted the marui entrance, then tying it shut to prevent the cold night's breeze from blasting through.

ronal acknowledged his return. "you're back. how was hunting?" she asked, doing the "oel ngati kameie" gesture, which he returned. "it was as usual. we collected a lot more than last month since it's hunting season." he replied, untying his hair.

she hummed and sat up, rolling up her scriptures back into a scroll and dropping them onto the floor.

she leaned back and watched as he moved around, getting a little more relaxed for the night. they were in comfortable silence, used to having not much to say to the other.

people often described them both as quiet. however, their usual moods were slightly different, with ronal being the "fierce and bold" type of quiet, and tonowari being the "caring and observant" kind. it was no doubt they both balanced each other out.

and both of them like to think the opposite, but their hearts say otherwise.

tonowari was, to say the least, stupefied.

he was 14 when he grew to be more conscious about his skills. and the reason was none other than the leaders' daughter, ronal.

he can't remember how it started. maybe it was when he saw her watching him train from her parents marui. or the time when his friends would tell him about the subtle glances ronal would throw his way from afar when he wasn't looking.

because of her, he started to work twice as hard, subconsciously. the thought of her really start to flood his brain everytime he was out training. it didn't stop for months. he eventually turned 15, the age of adulthood for most. the pressure still didn't run down.

"quiet mouth, loud mind." that's what the tsahìk sensed. "a pure soul, that boy. matches well with ronal's."

tonowari is known to be the best warrior and hunter among the metkayina boys, trained exceptionally well that he could fight the elder warriors with ease. and not only that, his silent confidence captured the eyes of many girls in the clan. but he never seemed to boast about it, or notice. it's why the current olo'eyktan and tsahìk chose him to be ronal's partner.

on the week he found out he was selected, the thought that he will one day hold such a high position ate at him.

"but the other boys are better, aren't they? zaxtyin? he's pretty good. seems to like leading more than I do. aery'an? he's impressive and good at multiple things. she'd enjoy his company more than mine."

he would think about it, all day and all night, barely saying a word since then.

when he moved into his new marui where he would be staying with ronal, he went a lot more quieter than before.

he was stunned. why? you guessed it, ronal.

his head was always piled up, and it's all because of her. so much nothing else was worth thinking or talking about.

now that they were practically living together, he'd see her usual routines. he picked up her habits, observed her movements, with no intention of doing so. not an hour passes by without her suddenly floating into his mind.

even while hunting underwater, he'd think about the kinds of fish ronal usually liked to eat.

when he sees the plants that the healers always use, he'd think about how on some nights he'd find her awake, experimenting and trying out the mixtures and medicines she made. somedays, she'd try it on him. and eywa, was it frustrating.

it was only after that when he realised, how much he had grown fond of her.

he wants to hate it. he has to.

because she won't feel the same. because of her.

it's always her.

OK there was some INteresting power dynamic. A injured gang member who probably kills at sight and is rich, is now under the care of a impoverished, seemingly harmless (when are doctors, potential ones included, ever harmless) student with barely any way to defend himself from violence. But Zong Yi may refuse to treat him. Then we have the knife. Doctors are gain power from their skill, but is it enough to counter a the power of a criminal gang? And the gang member depends on the (aspiring) doctor for his life, while the doctor's life depends on the gang member's life. Ze Rui constantly uses words like "brat", "kiddo" etc to further demonstrate the power dynamic at play (cause in Asia seniority = social power and respect), but Zong Yi hardly ever argues about the use of these words. Like, he isn't even trying to establish that he too, has some power over the situation. Is he truly so accepting of others' holding power over him or is he just unbothered cause he treats Ze Rui's words as completely irrelevant to his life? Hmmmm. Who exactly has the upper hand rn? I'd say it's Zong Yi rn, but then again Ze Rui can successfully overturn anything Zong Yi does (like the locked door) and force Zong Yo to do his bidding soo...fd

one time I trew away a can of soda before fully finishing it and I couldn't bear the guilt of lying to my mom about it and eventually confessed. if I came back home one day to find it completely empty, my first thought would be "MY BOOKS!!!". i hate running mostly because i am bad at it like really I am a pathetic sight, i walk very fast tho. one time I stabbed an annoying kid with a pencil (my weapon of choice) in the middle of class and got away with it. Trail rides. Her favorite are the ones where you leave for a couple of days and camp outside. No worries, just you, your friends and your horses, snacks, bone-fires and silly shenanigans.

OH BOY. EHE. I'm so glad I get to rant about this.

So. Okay. Justin and her are childhood bffs estranged who reconnected when she came back to Jorvik. As for what those two feel for each other

The simple answer is it's complicated.

The longer answer is Montana isn't sure what she's feeling. She's never had a serious relationship in her life, just some one-night-stands, so it's all very confusing for her. Sometimes she acts on those feelings, other times she tries to push them down. She gets overwhelmed when it comes to dealing with the situation and as a result both her and Justin end up hurt.

As for Justin, he knows he likes her more than just a friend. He isn't entirely confident how much he likes her, but it goes beyond best friends or simply platonic feelings. He has a hard time saying no to her because he knows she's confused and wants to help. And he doesn't mind it either, he just wishes she could give him a clear answer on what they are.

As for Thomas, he's basically an uncle figure for her. In exchange for helping out as a stable hand and generally helping out with building and fixing furniture he lets her stay in the attic (which she renovated herself, after all homegirl did do an apprenticeship as a carpenter at some point)

🔒 [LOCK] What is your Original Character's relationship to the Keepers of Aideen, the Sisterhood, and Aideen in general?

At the start she's wary of the Keepers at best. She doesn't trust them and makes no secret out of it. After that whole imprisoning Justin thing? No trust at all. A few people like Elizabeth or Evergray she still trusts to some extend, but the whole organization itself not.

The sisterhood is not as bad, seeing as her and Alex actually do get along quite well. Lisa and Linda can be categorized as good acquaintances. Anne and her managed to bond over their shared hatred of dark core. But even tho getting along with the separate members just fine, Montana doesn't see herself as part of the sisterhood or friendship. She always feels like she's just a temporary replacement for Anne in the group and keeps her distance from them as a result. They're already an established group and her suddenly being there feels like she's intruding on her side.

Aiden is like, super duper weird for her. In my story, the keepers believe Montana to be one of the reincarnations of Aideen. This goddess who she hear all about in her childhood is supposed to be her in an earlier life? Yeah, no, that's batshit crazy. (She isn't actually Aideen reincarnated, it's more like a "concept of power being passed down" kinda thing. Think the avatar being randomly chosen but instead of going through types of benders it's the cosmos choosing which Jorvigian (how tf do you spell that-) is going to be the best suited for that generation. All that info the characters obviously don't know lol)

So anyways, Jeff in this timeline by the original author, he doesn't carve a smile into his face, doesn't magically turn white because of being burned. Instead of that happening, the three boys still gang up on him. 𝘽𝙪𝙩, the main one, I forget his name, his mom and Jeff's mom decided they should get to know one another, 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘑𝘦𝘧𝘧'𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘪𝘶'𝘴 𝘣𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴. They go into his garage and he eventually shows Jeff his flare gun. Jeff, not wanting to deal with more fighting, tries to leave, but Troy and Keith show up, and Randy's saying basically to let them beat Jeff up. And Jeff, losing it, beat the fuck out of all them basically. Randy's and Jeff's mom eventually come back, they hear the car pull up. Randy freaks out and tells them he needs to put the flare. Everyone starts putting stuff away, and as Jeff goes to pick up magazines, Randy actually accidentally drops the flare, it goes off and shoots Jeff in the face. So, now half of his face is burned, and he's blind in his left eye. Doesn't turn any shade of color, it's just burned skin now. He doesn't kill his brother either in this one, his brother actually goes on to write books about his brother. I think it's called "friend, brother, killer. By Liu Woods" some shit like that.

So, Jeff sees certain members of slender's proxy and acquaintances, (such as LJ, Jason the toy maker + Candy pop, Hobo Heart, and others), as family. Especially since his actual family was ehhhh not the best. Granted, he killed his parents but if they actually acknowledged their children and what was 𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 going on, maybe they'd be alive. He views Sally as a little sister, and he has mixed feelings about her. Not in a bad sense, just, he feels awful. Especially since Jackson (EJ Goes by Jackson for my HC since LJS there and he tends to prefer it anyways), filled him in on what happened to her exactly. Like him. He knows he has emotions and feeling like a "human" but obviously he's not human anymore. With Ben and Toby, they're like his weird gbf's (Ben and Toby do be gay tho), but Jeff doesn't mind them dating. He's actually the reason they said anything to each other in the first place.

With jinx, it's weird. He met her one time just doing his crap in the forest. She attached him, because she needed to eat. Jeff having experienced junk like this, threw her off and they kinda had a stand off. Jeff was v e r y confused. I don't blame him, she'd be wearing a floor length dress, similar to mortica adams, but more Victorian goth. Eventually though the develope like a bro, sibling type bond. She's imortal and almost as old as Jack (LJ) so he didn't try to pursue her in anyway, plus he had *hinted* about it to her one time and she made it clear they wouldn't work out, but she was flattered non the less.

Uhhh yeaaaa. I'll make one for Jinxs as well, especially because she's like my sona and I plan on writing a story about her background and how she became a vampire. It's sorta similar to Luis in "Interview with a vampire". But y'all will hear about this as I go hehe

& yes, I did finally watch derry girls!

I did end up loving it actually, though it was a bit of a slow burn for me! I warmed fast to the characters/tone/setting/comedic style etc, but it felt like the (earlier) eps had a habit of ending just as they were getting interesting??? Idk, maybe it's partly personal preference or expectations, but they often felt v cliffhangery, only without being picked up ever again??

Classic example would be the first ep where everyone's accusing the girls of killing the old nun, which just kinda ends & I don't think that's ever mentioned subsequently? see also: stowaway jumps into the next car's boot WITH the tent James has been put in charge of in hand, or the hash scones are about to be eaten by the whole family (an extremely egregious example to me haha, you can't tease an everybody must get stoned conclusion and not demonstrate it! 😢), or even Erin writing 'parents' on the board a smile is shared...run credits.

I don't even like plot ha, and I'm def into it just meandering along in the bg while the focus is on the characters, & maybe these endings were supposed to emphasise that vibe, but I don't think it quite worked for me. Contrast with say the ending of the take that concert ep which feels like an ep ending!! <3

I do think the eps mightve benefited from being a little longer (or perhaps the writing mightve benefited from knowing how to write to that length ♻️) generally, & the s1 finale in particular was kinda dampened for me bc I don't think the resolution to the clare-Erin fight feels entirely earned? I totally respect the show choosing to not make Clare's sexuality a source of dramz (& the fact that it won't be amongst their milieu is kinda foreshadowed by everyone's disappointment @ everyone else re their supposed homophobia twds James), but I think this ep needed a liiiiiiil more space for the topic considering how dismissive erin is to clare immediately. (plus, doesn't erin kinda out clare to others eg Mary in discussing this...?)

I feel like the writing got a lot more intricate as the show went on tho! 🤩 eg I remember being struck by the haunt-y ep where James gets hit by the van & clare panics at all the plant pots & throws a rock through the window -- which seem like classic highjinks... And they are, but also they're respectively: a reason the girls are frazzled so end up inadvertently breaking into the wrong place, & a sign they're at the wrong house (the instruction to find the key under 'the' plant pot initially seeming humorous, but actually being a well hidden Reveal). Or ciaran assuming Sarah's broken it off with him to become a nun in the hallowe'en ep?? Impeccable!! Or how the storylines in the train ep (backpacks switcheroo; Mary and sarah running into an acquaintance they can't place) neatly dovetail. The third season really impressed me overall, and particularly that final lengthy special!!!

So I do think my experience of watching this show is strong evidence for my theory that waiting for the whole thing to be out and watching all in one go can be the best way!! Like yes you do miss out on the live fandom screeching experience & can easily run the risk of being spoiled but I got to watch the writing improve in this compressed fashion!! Plus there were certain things where I was reserving judgement to see how they were handled going fwds, and s3 (so good!!) really delivered! Eg clare getting a love interest, michelle/'s family backstory, some discussion from Clare's parents re her sexuality, the girls developing better music taste lol, a bit more interrogation of Mary & gerry's relationship.

As u know I'm a bit of a hard sell on media/stories abt young ppl (to start with there's way too much!), but I really like the tone & setting of the show -- the sort of black comedy vibe, the 90s nostalgia -- and def enjoyed how much the grown ups were present too!! The performance of Tommy tiernan as gerry in particular really stood out to me, he didn't always get many lines, and often the ones he had were quite clipped, but the acting gave it a lot of depth. Plus I love that the mums got their own flashback ep!

I think the erin/James romance was foreshadowed really well + had the exact right amount of focus (ie not a huge amount) + was resolved exactly the right amount (ie fairly implied but open ended); he was an aspiring filmmaker she was an aspiring writer can I make it any more obvious should be more of a trope too sffgddfg. I feel like a lot of shows abt teenagers are either aggressively puritanical abt sex or substances or w/e, or lean hard the other way and instead try to glam up & sexualise boring children, and this did neither! The fact that it didn't focus almost exclusively on romantic pining and/or relationships or get into the partner shuffle game was really refreshing for a ~teen show, & I love that the focus stayed on the group/dynamic.

Other thoughts: Sister George Michael extremely iconic obvi! I really enjoyed James as a device (ppl needing to explain the ~setting to him), I think more shows should do that (espec in place of bloody voiceovers, way too many of those these days, so I loved the lampshading of that trope too); his deployment in the funeral ep (english ppl vs acknowledging the concept of death) really sung for me! And I lovvvve how uncle colm was used (espec in s3)!! I generally really like how Sarah & orla were portrayed/treated by the show also. And the music was done v well -- both in terms of songs chosen and how they were used! Some very iconic guest stars too, although omg i didn't even recognise ardal o'hanlon which is WILD given I slogged through a fair amount of my hero for him back in the day 😅

Anyhow yes I did love it, excellent rec, and I think it would be fun to rewatch. I'd be curious to hear/read more abt the writing actually, and particularly re when character details were decided (eg Michelle's brother backstory) cos stuff generally did seem to hang together well overall 😊

I've known Diabolik Lovers since June from 2015, and boy was that an extremely interesting time—

2. Who's your fictional boyfriend/husband?

Reiji "The Arsonist" Sakamaki has been my favourite Diaboys since day one and at this point I have no intention on apologizing about it. Followed by Ruki and Ritcher but we're only touching Reiji here—

3. Why do you like them?

Ok the first reason are the daddy issues—

I'M KIDDING I'M KIDDING. Honestly, I loved his design first, and fell for the rest second.

I knew since I was a kiddo that I was a SUCKER for evil dudes in purple/"Disney villain" colours, a simp for deep voices, AND a SUCKER for people in glasses. So when I heard Reiji's voice and saw him my world turned into whatever tf I am now and I have not known peace since then.

Now, let's go more in deep.

I saw Reiji, and I knew he was a gentleman. I knew he was the type that would kiss your knuckles as a "I love you" gesture. I saw him thanks to lots of translations in YouTube and Tumblr just how devoted and in love he is in the MC/Yui. I just loved how he eventually showed himself out of his shell (even if back then I also recognised some damn red flags and I felt conflicted), how bastard he can be, how smart and... Well, all that he is. It's hard for me to put into words how I feel about him as a whole, but I think this will do.

Also HE'S PETTY WHEN HE WANTS TO. I never wanted a man to be that petty until I met him. Love that he uses pans to wake everyone up.

Also HIS LAUGH PEOPLE. I LOVE Both OF HIS LAUGHS THE SEXY ONE AND THE GENUINE ONE.

4. Have you make acquaintance with anyone that ships themselves with the same character?

I don't think these people are truly shipping themselves with him but, again, they're interested so it counts. And there's only three that I'm aware they're Reiji stans so-

I don’t know, honestly. Just like @mino-diabolik said, I suppose it's trying to embellish my writing to make descriptions somewhat prettier and more complex (???) because I don’t like repeating words.

19. What kind of comments do you dislike the most when it comes cp feedbacks of your oc(s)?

I’ve never had any.

20. Have you receive hates about your oc(s) before?

Just one and for the Kurosawa blog when I first made it public. It was about me having too much OC's and trying to show off. But since I'm a bit coo-coo, my reaction was... The complete opposite of what I expected.

21. Do you have a complete love story of your cp?

YES I HAVE DAMMIT.

Aimic is the only one "complete" and dare I say it's one of my first experiences that I genuinely have fun with since I got here. I would be lying if I say I am not grateful for meeting the Admin and their wonderful OC.

22. Do you allow joint of alternate universe with the canon version of your cp story?

I do!, even if there isn't really a "Canon" ship in here other than casual relationships with the DL boys and other people from other universes (always wanted to see how much would they fit in Twisted Wonderland tho 👀), I usually do enjoy these ships, because these clowns I have to call my children are mine to torture—. Both blogs exists to enjoy both "canon" ships and AU ships!

23. Are you okay with people shipping their oc(s) with yours?

YES YES YES. I AM SO HAPPY WHEN THAT HAPPENS. I LOVE IT. YES.

There’s nothing that brought me more to an excitement rush with me jumping up and down than to people thinking my characters are worthy of being paired up with theirs, but still, I expect someone to ask me if it's ok beforehand bc my dumb ass might get confused in the way unless you're absolutely obvious in the way.

Please if any of yall ever did this on Anon it's ok I really like it when it happens 👀🥺.

24. Ever gone through a bad experience in the fandom?

Thank god I didn't. Just one single anon hate (the one from question 20) and it literally made me so happy bc it meant I'm doing a good job—

26. What is the moment that caused you to feel most disappointed or excited?

When I get notifications in both aspect. Because that's how deep into yall I'm in.

Notifs from popular OC blogs, non OC blogs, new OC blogs, (definitely the porn bots-), I always get so happy! To just know people like my content enough to like, or to go as far as to reblog said content? I ascend.

27. The scariest era that you have come across in the fandom?

The hate storms that were literally coming from nowhere (four since I got here), that account that if you reblogged the fanart of any Diaboy told you that they did something awful to Yui and that they hoped the same happened to us (usually r*pe), that one time the Simone blog got hacked/they tried to pass off as them, literally just anons telling other blog Admins to unalive themselves.

At this point I'm not surprised, just disappointed. Also I'm sure most of the time, these people are just hitting puberty, or just "woke" people from twitter.

Hell it's not even scary, just tiring.

28. The most wonderful thing you have come across in this fandom?

Literally all the people I came across with. People here were nothing but all so nice, sweet, and creative; I'm literally so glad I got to know you guys and to have an opportunity to have met some of you, even if we have only talked a little. <3

raii!! hi hello i have finished ntn. (finally. after being distracted by c.sm and m.p100 like 5 times) and. oh man.

i think i've noticed a pattern in these books actually! the pattern being the endings making me go WHAT THE FUCKING SHIT JUST HAPPENED. i mean! i suspected nona was alecto but oughhghg :(((((( her saying she won't be able to love pyrrha and paul anymore.... fucking christ ouch :(((((( fictional families make me so so unwell..

other than that i like how this book basically solidified that harrow's autistic! (i mean. if u still had doubts after htn) i was very happy to see palamedes and gideon again also!! even if not for long. ianthe and gideon being friends/acquaintances was probably the single biggest plot twist of the book. huge fan of their ugly ass friendship bracelets tho HGSKGSKG love how it HAD to be accentuated repeatedly just how badly the colours matched. two loser lesbians with the most cringefail friendship who have the ugliest friendship bracelets in the galaxy and they are so! important to me. they even have a stupid handshake.. do u think they bonded over their senses of humour and mutual love/hate/obsession with harrow? (honestly i might be beginning to see the appeal of gidianthe. just a bit) anyway NEED to see harrow's reaction to whatever they have got going on in atn. bonding while i was soul exchanged with the fucking Earth incarnated? in my horrible girlrfiends?? more likely than she thinks probably

oh oh another scene that is very important to me is when pyrrha kissed camilla and palamedes. collecting polycules (not really. more like. yk that bisexual photo with anne hathaway. yk the one. like that! i just don't have a word that's short enough to make the joke work) like they're pokemon

gideon and palamedes are still my faves but i also really like nona/alecto! ianthe is def growing on me too. (have to say she'd be a fav already if the book had any art of her tho bc. i may or may not be able to forgive a few atrocities if she looked hot while committing them.. i am not immune to women)
