ARE THE THROATGOGGLERS BASED ON GEESE?

It is commonly said (by me) that female geese turn into dragons on their nest. One time she was sitting on her nest I was trying to check on her eggs or something and she latched onto my hand. Hard. It really hurt and it was hard to pry her beak open with one hand plus I was worried she would grab me again. So I asked my dad to help. And he grabbed her neck while she was still gripping my hand tight as she could, so I freed myself.

"WHY DIDN'T YOU OPEN HER BILL?!"
