one two
Timothée couldn't help but smile as he watched his girlfriend, Y/N, sleep peacefully. She had looked so tired that he hadn't had the heart to wake her up, even though they had planned to go stargazing tonight.
He sat beside her, taking in her beauty and breathing in the smell of her. Timothée's heart thundered in his chest as he watched her sleep, her gentle breaths like a soothing melody to his ears. In the darkness of the night, he couldn't help but feel a sense of awe and admiration for the woman who lay beside him. She was like a delicate flower, beautiful yet strong, fragile yet resilient. As he traced his fingers over her skin, he wondered how he had been lucky enough to find her in the chaos of their world. Her laughter was contagious, and her smile could brighten up even the darkest of days. She had this way of making him feel like he was the only person in the world, and he loved her for that.
Timothée remembered how they met; fate had intervened in the most unexpected way, and he was grateful for that every single day. She was his best friend, his confidante, and his lover, all rolled into one. He couldn't imagine his life without her. When they first met five years ago, Timothée thought that she was way out of his league. Saoirse had convinced him to go out with one of her friends for lunch, and it was love at first sight. Timothée remembered that day vividly. He had been so nervous; his palms were sweating, but he was determined to make a good impression. He had put on his best outfit and made sure he was impeccably groomed. When she arrived, it was like the sun had suddenly come out and lit up the entire room. She was so beautiful and graceful, like an angel that fell from heaven, and he could hardly take his eyes off of her. Somehow, she had been able to see past his awkwardness and insecurity and accept him, no questions asked. She had quickly put him at ease with her warm personality and friendly smile.
It was like a spark of electricity that lit up his world, and he never looked back. He had never felt so alive before, and he knew that he was meant to spend his life with her. From their very first date, Timothée and Y/n had created the type of bond that most people spend their entire lives searching for. It was clear that they had a connection that would never be broken, no matter the circumstance.
Timothée admired how Y/n seemed to find happiness in the simplest things, always appreciating the beauty and little wonders that life offered. Y/n didn't deserve to get all of this hate, she was the purest soul. She taught him to slow down and accept life's imperfections, something he had struggled with in the past. Every time he looked at her, he thought the same thing: how lucky he was to have her in his life. For as long as he had known her, she was soft yet resilient. She had compassion and creativity.
Timothée was beyond grateful to Saoirse for setting them up in the most unexpected way. He couldn’t imagine his life without her. Y/n completed him in ways he never knew were possible. She knew his deepest fears and his darkest secrets, and yet she loved him unconditionally. She was his rock, his safe haven, and his home.
There were so many times that Timothée was certain she was going to walk out of his life. His career always got in the way of their time for each other. He always asked himself why she was still with him after all of the shit he'd put her through, like that one time when Y/n told him she was going to make dinner for him and completely forgot. But despite his shortcomings, Y/n stayed. She loved him because of who he was, and she assured him she was not going anywhere. Timothée was sure that his woman must have the patience of a saint, because sometimes it terrified him.
Timothée wanted to show her off and brag to the world about her. He wanted to tie the knot with her and spend the rest of his life with her. But his management stood in the way of that. He imagined them sitting on the porch of a cozy house, holding hands as they watched the sun set over the horizon while their children ran around, chasing each other through the yard. He couldn't imagine anyone else he'd spend the rest of his life with.
Suddenly, he had an idea.
I'm going to show her off, whether they like it or not.
Sighing, he leaned in to kiss her forehead. “Thank you for loving me, mon amour. I'm going to make it up to you. I love you.”
Tumblr media
“Where are you taking me, baby?“ You asked as you fidgeted with the cloth that covered your eyes. “Is the blindfold really necessary?”
Timothée chuckled. “Be patient, mon amour. We're almost there; just hang in here tight."
“Can you give me a clue where you're taking me? Come on, babyyy!” You whined, your nose scrunching in annoyance, making your boyfriend laugh.
You huffed, crossing your arms over your chest. “Fine, laugh.”
It's been a week since the article blew up. You didn't give it any more attention; instead, you focused on your boyfriend, giving him all the love he deserves. You spent the week cooking for him, which he highly appreciated after a long day of working on the go.
Now, your boyfriend is taking you somewhere blindfolded. You had no idea where he was taking you, but knowing your boyfriend, it was another one of his surprises.
Suddenly, the car stopped abruptly. You heard your boyfriend get out of the driver's seat before opening the door on the passenger side.
"You ready, mon amour?"
“I can't see a thing; I'm absolutely ready.” You rolled your eyes at him—not that he could see it, though.
“There's my sarcastic girl.” Timothée chuckled, taking your hand in his and leading you out of the car.
Timothée slowly led you from behind, telling you when to turn and when to walk straight. After what felt like hours, Timothée finally instructed you to stop. You felt the soft grass beneath your feet and heard the faint background hum of a crowd of people. Finally, someone removed the blindfold, and you blink several times, trying to adjust to the sudden brightness. When your eyes finally adjusted, your breath caught in your throat.
The entire gazebo was lit up with twinkling lights, like thousands of stars had been scattered across the ground. Rose petals decorated the entire path leading to the middle. Timothée's family stood beside yours with huge grins plastered on their faces. Both yours and Timothée's friends were also there, smiling brightly. Bystanders stood around with cameras everywhere, trying to capture the moment. Suddenly, your eyes widened when your eyes landed on a familiar brunette; Kylie Jenner was smiling at you from the sidelines, giving you a thumbs up and silently urging you to go to your boyfriend.
You slowly walked towards your boyfriend, tears shining in your eyes as you realized what was happening. Timothée grabbed your hands, and life began to blur out around you as he began to speak.
“The very first time I laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one. You looked like an angel that fell from heaven, and I could hardly take his eyes off of you. You have this way of making me feel like I'm the only guy in the world. How have I been so lucky to find you amidst the chaos of the world? Your smile could brighten up even the darkest of days. You were like a spark of electricity that lit up my world. You taught me to slow down and accept life's imperfections. I can't imagine a life without you, mon amour. You are my rock, my safe haven, and my home.” His voice was shaky, but his words were clear and true.
Timothée fell on a bent knee, a beautiful diamond ring in his hand. His eyes were full of love and admiration. “So what do you say, my beautiful angel? Will you marry me? ”
Tears welled up in your eyes as you gazed into Timothée's green eyes. “Yes,“ you whispered, your voice barely audible over the noise of the crowd around you.
“Yes, I will marry you!” You threw your arms around him, feeling his warmth and the beat of his heart against your chest. The crowd erupted into cheers and applause, and you felt as if you were floating on cloud nine. You leaned in close to Timothée and whispered, “I love you, Timothée Chalamet,” and you meant it with all your heart and more.
Timothée slipped the ring onto your finger, and the two of you shared a kiss that felt like forever.
You couldn't believe that you were engaged to the man of your dreams, the man who had swept you off your feet and made her believe in true love. You looked around at the smiling faces surrounding the two of you, feeling overwhelmed with happiness and gratitude.
“I hope you get used to my fans looking at you, mon amour.” Timothée chuckled, wrapping his arms around your waist. “I want to take you around the world. They don't have to understand. I'm going to rub it in their face that I put a ring on your hand.”
You giggled, kissing his nose. “That'll take a bit of getting used to.”
“I'm going to show you off, whether they like it or not.”
“You're the one.” You whispered, before capturing his lips in yours. “Mine, forever mine.”
You couldn't wait to spend the rest of your life with him, the man you love, your soon-to-be husband.
Your fiancé, your future, your Timothée, yours.

right where you left me;
chapter two: can i be close to you?
summary: steve harrington is unlucky when it comes to matters of the heart. for years he’s been in love with his best friend, but circumstances have made it impossible for him to make his feelings known. fate seems to have other plans, when you ask him to help you escape your wedding day, with nothing but his hand to hold and a car to drive off in. you suddenly find yourself headed back to hawkins, back to the place that feels so unfamiliar now — back to the place where you first fell in love.
warnings: 18+; smut in later chapters; alcohol mentions; class differences; financial insecurities; purposeful vignette-like/short scenes to cover a larger span of time in this mini-series (11k words).
steve harrington x f!inexperienced!reader || best friends to lovers, mutual pining, second chance romance with the town handyman who lives in a cabin in the woods.
masterlist | previous chapter
——
Those first few days pass in a blur.
You wake, often in Steve’s arms, your bodies coming together like moths to a flame. Like magnets. Neither of you says anything on the matter, merely brushing it off as the typical nature of your friendship.
He readies for the day, you watch him dress and go, and you take it upon yourself to clean up around the cabin in the woods. It’s odd, being that it’s the first time in a few years you have responsibilities like this. If you can call them that. Really, you only want to feel like you’re contributing something to the place you’re currently staying at.
Steve’s been kind enough to uproot his life for you, so it’s the least you can do. And when he comes home later in the evening, he cooks and you sit on the kitchen countertops, talking to him about his day. Soaking up the fact you can spend all this time with him now, without the societal pressures, parties, and social events to weigh you down.
About a week in you decide you want to contribute something. A fact which Steve laughs at, reminding you, “If you’ve forgotten, I want you here. Don’t feel like you need to do that.”
Both of you walk side by side on the sidewalk, him in a sweater and jeans, and you in a pair of newly purchased jeans and a dark knitted sweater. Wind prickles against your cheeks, the puffer vest you’re wearing doing very little to block out the cold. Leaves crunch as you walk, dancing along the streets as people pass on by, kicking them up as they go.
The Hideout comes into view, dim lighting highlighting the ‘Now Hiring’ posted hanging in one of the windows. “It’s like the universe is sending me a sign!” You giggle brightly, hand wrapping around Steve’s wrist like a bracelet, dragging him into the restaurant behind you.
It’s different than you remember. Still that darker interior — all wooden floors, wooden bar, wooden walls. Against the side wall is a sprawling bar top, with steel stools full of patrons sipping on drinks. There are some bent low in conversation, others looking like they’re on first dates, all blushing cheeks and bashful smiles. Others are cheering, wearing jerseys of whatever team they support, likely coming home from a football game.
The dining area is different than you remember too. Wooden chairs around wooden tables, beautiful lighting hanging from above, the room cast in an ethereal glow. From where you're standing you can see families and couples, friend groups and bachelorette celebrations occupying the spaces. Smiling servers and wait staff weave in and out of the aisles, before your gaze swivels to the hostess at the front booth, asking how many in your party.
“Two, please!” you say, leaning into Steve’s shoulder excitedly, giving his hand a squeeze as the woman leads you toward a table near the back of the restaurant, your mind still whirling a bit at how successful Eddie’s place has become. Once seated, you whisper, “This restaurant is insane. Can’t believe this is the same bar.”
Steve nods. “He really did a great job with the place —”
“Says the guy who put together a good chunk of the furniture here,” Eddie teases, placing menus on the table in front of you both. “Fancy seeing you two here. Thought you’d still be holed up in the love shack. Rob's going crazy.”
“I could only take off a few days for the wedding,” Steve reminds him, shoving the older man lightly. “We’re seeing her tomorrow, if you must know.”
“Good, because she’s been parked on my couch the past few nights and Abi and I haven’t had any alone time,” Eddie says with a grumble, but you know there’s no malice there. “Get whatever you want — it’s on the house. My ‘welcome back to Hawkins treat.’”
Eddie moves to leave, but you stop him with a hasty, “The door. It says you’re hiring.”
The man in question turns back around, arms crossing over his chest. His eyes travel up and down your form, a question burgeoning in his gaze, “Yeah, I’m in need of waitresses for the busy season. You keep your tips. Why? Do you need a job?”
You swallow. “I don’t want to mooch off of Steve the whole time I’m here. And I don’t really know what I want to do long term, but I figure I need money to do anything. So…yeah?”
“Then you’re hired.”
Steve grins, but you shake your head. “No, no. I don’t want you to just give me a job. I want an interview, just like anyone else.”
“Okay…” Eddie glances Steve’s way briefly. His best friend only shrugs. “Do you have any customer service experience?”
“I worked at a clothing store in Starcourt?” Before it burned down, obviously.
“How long was that for?” Eddie asks, pulling out a free chair and settling in front of you.
“Few months,” you tell him, and then blurt out, “I also babysat for the Sinclair’s for a bit!”
“You babysat the younger Sinclair?”
“Yeah,” you say, a little quieter this time, not quite sure what he’s getting at.
Erica had been nothing but lovely to you in all the time you babysat her; if not quite a bit sarcastic and oftentimes blunt, but given you’ve spent years in the company of Steve Harrington and Dustin Henderson, it was never anything you couldn’t handle.
“And survived?” Eddie asks.
Steve nods rapidly. “She —”
“Quiet, she’s interviewing.” Eddie raises a hand to silence Steve.
“I…survived…” Your words are quiet, and Eddie leans backward against the frame of the chair, contemplative.
“Abi makes the schedule on Sunday usually.” Tomorrow, then. “I’ll ask her to put you on for Monday, and then we’ll go from there. How does that sound?”
You swallow, a little miffed, brows knit high on your forehead. “That’s…that’s great. Yeah. Monday is good.”
He claps you on the shoulder and ruffles Steve’s hair, grinning at a server that passes by as he shoves his chair back into place with a loud screech against wooden floors. And then he’s off, leaving you to stare across the table at Steve, trying to hide the smile that creeps along your lips at the realization of what just happened seconds ago.
“So…” Steve takes a sip of his drink, grinning ruefully, “that happened. How are you feeling? First job in a few years, yeah?”
“I…I have a job.” Steve bursts out laughing as you nearly topple over the table in pursuit of wrapping your arms around his next. “I have a job!”
“Yeah, sweetheart,” he chuckles, sliding a hand over the small of your back, grinning into your cheek. “I'm so proud of you. Think we should order a bottle of wine and celebrate a bit?”
That’s exactly what you end up doing.
——
In the mornings, you and Steve share coffee and breakfast. You’ll take turns cooking. Some days he’ll wake you with coffee in bed, Garfield lounging across your thighs. Others, he’ll stumble into the kitchen, eyes bleary and in search of the coffee pot, while chocolate pancakes cook on the stove.
Those mornings are your favorites, because you’ll often hear him murmuring to himself how much he loves you — and you try to deflect that feeling that crawls up from deep within you, the part of you that craves for him to mean it in the sense that he’s in love with you.
Later, he parts for work and you ready yourself for shifts at Eddie’s restaurant. Which is a learning curve, to say the least. Abi, Eddie’s soon-to-be wife, only laughs as you drop another plate filled with water cups in the back, landing on your butt in the process. A huff pours out of you, just as some of the cooks grin your way, offering condolences for your likely bruised tailbone, and Eddie’s head pops into view, all the dark curls that resist staying put in an elastic spilling around his face. He’s grinning but you’re frustrated, on day seven of utterly making a mess of things.
“It’s really not that bad,” Abi reassures you later that afternoon, your apron draped over your shoulder, punched out for the day. There’s a glass of wine in front of you, but you haven’t really had any of it. “It takes time. You’ll get it.”
“It shouldn’t be this hard.”
And yet it is. For years you’ve lived a life of luxury, shuttered away from society. Work was some lofty idea, left behind after you fled Hawkins. You want to pick up on things, want to be good at them, to make Steve proud. Yet you still struggle, still find yourself doubting your capabilities, wondering what it is Eddie saw in you when he hired you.
That night, Steve and you sit around the coffee table in his living room. You’re wearing a pair of cozy sweatpants and an equally comfortable hoodie and he’s there in that yellow sweater of his you told him to never get rid of. The one that has some holes in it now around the edges, but looks great on him all the same. A puzzle rests on the table in front of you both, the pieces scattered all around the wooden surface. Garfield snoozes on Steve’s lap, curled up onto a tight ball, his purring mixing with the crackling of the burning fire mere feet away.
“I’m proud of you,” Steve says, sipping at the beer on a coaster in front of him. The label is long scratched off, condensation dribbling down in little rivulets against the glass. Confusion pricking, your head tips to the side. “Eddie says you’re doing well at the Hideout.”
“He’s lying to you,” you deadpan, pushing another edge piece into place. “I’m struggling. But Abi says it just takes time. It’s definitely not like working at my old clothing store over at Starcourt.”
An edge of darkness flitters across Steve’s features at the mere mention. It shudders and ripples in the spaces between the two of you. Neither really talks about it all that much, especially now that he and you both had been in extensive therapy for it. And even then, the remembrance stings a bit. The reminder of what that day meant for your friend group. Hadn't then at all really to your detriments, when everything happened as it had. Instead you’d both pushed it away and hopped into Steve’s car some days later, with nothing but a map and some money pooled between the two of you.
But it had been enough. It had been everything. The road. The warmth of summer. The escape. The boy.
Steve’s not a boy now. Hasn’t been for a while, you realize, sitting there and peering into those hazel eyes that almost look like molten honey when the fire dances within their swirling depths. Your fingers reach over and twine with his. Just as they have countless other times, just as they always do. Seeking him. Craving the nearness of him. Comforting him, but also yourself.
A cheek of his twitches. Curls a bit with the softest of smiles. Steve Harrington’s smiles are your favorite. Have always been. They’re the kind that a picture can’t capture, an artist can’t form the likeness of. The only way to contain them is to see them, to bottle them up, to store them away in your heart. Sometimes, when you were younger, you imagined they were special. Meant only for you.
Still do now, if you’re being honest with yourself.
“Nothing is quite like working at Starcourt,” he teases, diverting to humor. You wince a bit at it, fingers around his twitching lightly. “Not everyday someone gets possessed, and you get abducted by Russians, huh? Bet the Hideout will feel like a walk in the park soon in comparison.”
“I hope so,” you mutter, more to yourself than anyone else. “I just don’t want to sit around while I’m staying here. Maybe I’ll…start saving up for my own place? For the time being, at least.”
“Or you could just stay here,” Steve says evenly, free hand stroking over Garfield’s fuzzy head, “I did say you could stay as long as you like. I didn’t just say that to say it. I like having you here. It feels…normal. It feels good. Really good.”
There’s a little rasp to his voice. A brokenness that clings to the edges of his speech. Your fingers tighten further, crawling up onto your knees to settle down at his side, shoulder bumping his as you reach over to place another puzzle piece down in the proper position. He leans his head against your shoulder, forehead shaking back and forth against the fabric of your clothing, and you just know he’s smiling without even seeing his face.
“Okay, okay. But the moment you get sick of me I’m giving you permission to kick me out —”
“Won’t happen,” he assures you, chuckling a bit.
“How can you be so sure?”
“For one, I’ve known you for years already. You clean up after yourself. You’re crazy loud, but we match each other in that, so it’s fine. You’re not bad to share a bed with — although you go all starfish on me in your sleep —”
“I do not!” you exclaim shrilly, cheeks burning up at the notion.
“You do,” he laughs, dragging you closer to him with an arm around your shoulders, “woke up with your drool on my chest the other day.”
“Yeah, because you’re a human furnace!”
“Doesn’t seem like you mind, seeing as you end up on top of m —” He pauses, the puzzle piece you playfully threw at him bouncing off of his cheek and onto the floor with a clatter. Garfield scampers off to eat, likely rolling his eyes at your antics as he goes, the sound of his collar bell jingling drowning out the silence in the room. “You just threw a puzzle piece at me.”
“I did just throw a puzzle piece at you,” you repeat slowly, bursting out into loud, shrieking laughter as Steve rolls you over onto the blankets scattered beneath him on the floor, body caging yours in place.
His fingers twitch along your sides, your body writhing and rolling beneath him, a frantic jostle of your stomach that has his face crashing into your shoulder, his smile warm against the skin of your collarbone.
You’re children again, you think, as your fingers slip under his sweater and pinch at his sides, earning a loud howl from the man. “Geez, not the pinchy fingers.”
“Mercy?”
“Mercy,” he pleads, his fingers pinning your hands at your sides, chest rising and falling rapidly in a direct mirror to your own.
“You look different from this angle.”
As in, your blood heats with it. Heart clangs at the proximity of your hips in relation to his. The way your mind itches and races to know what he’d feel like if he lowered himself a bit, the cradle of your thighs a home to him. He’s breathing heavy, his laughter joyful on your ears, eyes dark as they clash with yours.
“Different how?”
“Not a bad ‘different.’”
Not at all. He looks older now — is older now. His clothes fit differently now. He’s always been fit from basketball and baseball throughout the years. But he fills out his shirts and sweaters differently now. His chest broader, the stitching on his sweater hugging his biceps as they ripple around you — as you’ve seen them in the days since you’ve come back to Hawkins. Working as a carpenter seems to have had its benefits, and you try to not dwell on the fact you’re reaping them now.
His hazel eyes slide over your form searchingly. His chest still rising and falling as your fingers pinch in the yellow sleeve of his sweater, pulling at a thread that spills free from a stitched seam. The sudden shift of your form has your back flaring, right in the middle of your shoulder blades, a wince crossing your features before you can mask it. Worriedly, Steve rolls over onto his side, asking, “I didn’t hurt you, did I?”
No. Never. “No. Just…not used to carrying as much as I have the past few days, it seems. Pretty sad, isn’t it?”
He rolls his eyes at your self-deprecating remark. Sits up against the couch so his back is against it and pats the ground between his thighs. “Come here.”
“What…?”
“Come here,” he repeats, a little impatiently.
You return his eye roll with one of your own, clambering up and off the ground and into the space between his thighs. There’s little time to worry about the proximity of your spine to the muscular wall of his chest before his fingers are pressing into the curves of your shoulders, rubbing at the tensely corded muscles there.
It’s easy to relax like this. Can’t really think of a time when you last felt so relaxed. Usually you’re under the judgemental stares of dozens of eyes. Those who think they know you, understand you, and yet don’t. Defined by a name you had no name of being born to. It was only by circumstance. But you’ve always felt like yourself around Steve. No need to put on airs, to hold yourself to a certain standard, to lift your head a certain way or say all the right things.
He’s only ever wanted the fullest version of yourself. Probably has been one of the only people to ever understand you in the way you wished others did as well. For years you wondered if people knew you, really knew you, they wouldn’t like what they saw. But sitting here, in this cabin, with this man? You realize you don’t even care. Throw away the rest of the world, and leave Steve behind, and you’d have everything you ever wanted.
“Does this hurt?” he asks, thumb swiping along the top of your spine, right at the dip below your skull, before swiping in an arch along each curve of your shoulders. “I’ll stop if it does.”
“N-no,” you sigh, languid against his frame. “Although, I’m feeling mildly jealous of all those who may have benefited from a massage by Steve Harrington.”
A chuckle rumbles against your back. “Only you, really. In case you forgot, Eddie got me a cat to keep me company.”
A part of you, a very selfish part, rejoices inwardly over his confession. A little victory dance, sending giddy sparks throughout your bloodstream. That giddiness burns molten as Steve pushes the neck of your oversized hoodie down a bit, fingers wrapping around the fullness of your shoulder, tips of them dipping below your collarbone.
It’s a not at all sensual touch — and yet it has heat pooling between your thighs, has you biting back a quiet moan that inches up your throat, reminding you of the mere fact that it’s been a couple of years since being with anyone sexually coupled with the fact you’ve spent the past few days pressed up against the only one you’ve ever been in love with at night.
That’s all it is. The only thing that has you melting further against him, humming pleasantly as elusive sleep tugs you closer and closer into its comforting embrace. After a while, you’re not sure how long really, Steve’s arms start to slide around your waist, his chin against your shoulder, the sound of his comforting breathing a welcoming metronome against your ear. Your fingers reach up and slide into the holes of his sweater, brushing along the dark hairs you know line his forearms, lulling you and him into further rest. To anyone else, you know what the scene looks like: two people, intimately knowing one another, cuddling. Broken away from the rest of the world and into one of their own. To you, you know it’s another normal afternoon with the man.
And yet, your eyes lock with the dying embers crackling in the fireplace, wondering if it could ever be different. If only one of you were brave enough to broach the conversation, to see if the feelings are reciprocated, if now is finally the time to take a chance. A leap. To dare to dream a little. A silly, childhood dream that seems so insurmountable. Still, you crave it more than anything else.
You breathe in deeply, Steve’s arms tightening around your waist. His heavy, rhythmic breathing lets you know he’s fallen asleep now. Your fingers stroke along his arm again, a comfort to him but also you, and you finally close your eyes.
You rest, that question in your mind dying with the firelight.
——
“Monster Mash” blares from a speaker somewhere in the distance. Drowns out the chatter of those downstairs as you put on the finishing touches of yours, El’s and Max’s Halloween costume.
“Wednesday Addams again?” Max muses, pointing to the costume you managed to put together in a couple of hours, not knowing until the last minute you were going to a party to begin with. You’d also been Wednesday the last time you’d been living in Hawkins for the holiday.
You’re presently smudging red lines near the bottom of her jaw, adding little droplets of blood when and where needed. El is beside her, looking very much like a mummy.
“Hey?” Steve appears in the doorway. The hottest Danny Zuko you’d ever seen. You’d never admit that, though. “I don’t mean to interrupt but, uh —”
“Just finishing up,” you tell him softly, smiling appreciatively at the way his eyes roam your form swathed in black, “we’ll be down in a minute.”
Steve smiles and jogs down the stairs, leaving you standing in the bathroom once more with the girls, chewing on your bottom lip and likely smudging the dark lipstick you’d slapped on.
“I guess some things never change,” Max adds, beaming mischievously when your fingers stutter over her jaw, “still pining over Harrington.”
“I do not pine!”
“You pine,” Max giggles, blue eyes sparkling in her mirth as they glances to El for support, “She pines, doesn’t she?”
“Yeah,” El mutters, a bit more shyly than her best friend, “you pine.”
“Well I didn’t take Max Mayfield and El Hopper to be gossips,” you snark, dabbing a little red lipstick on Max’s pouty lips, voice taking on a higher pitch.
“It’s been, what? Almost ten years of you pining after him?” Max wiggles her shoulders, smirking when you glare at her.
“You were practically an infant then,” you balk, cheeks burning along with your chest, “not even in Hawkins.”
“Yeah…but…” El begins, tucking a hair behind her ears, “it’s kind of…obvious?”
“You two are lucky you’re my favorites of the children.” Though now, with them graduating this year, it feels weird to call them that.
“He pines too,” Max adds. “Right?”
El grins. “Definitely.”
“Is that so…?” You grin, a little rueful, hope blooming in your chest. “Tell me m —”
“Well look at this little band of creepy folk,” Argyle drawls from the doorway, shiny hair falling down around him in a halo, his Michael Myers mask dangling from his hand. “Don’t wanna interrupt this little gathering, but you know…”
——
As the Halloween buzz dies down around work and town, the frigid streets become full of the changing seasons. Leaves fall everywhere you go. Bursts of orange, yellow, red and gold swirl around busy side streets, packed with those investigating local farmer’s markets and slipping in and out of family owned businesses to purchase gifts to get ahead of the holiday season.
The Hideout becomes busier in those weeks. Countless patrons fill your stations, back screaming and head spinning by the time you end your shifts. That day in particular, you stand behind the bar with Abi, chugging down a glass of water she poured you before stripping your apron from around your hips.
“Did well in tips, it looks like,” she points out, gesturing to the wad of cash you promptly stuff into the pocket of your jeans. “Told you you’d get better.”
It also helps that you had multiple larger parties that evening, all of which were more than happy to pay a little extra once they’d gotten a second and third round of beer in them. Though you didn’t really appreciate the way one in particular had slipped his phone number, writing ‘for a good time call.’ You’d chucked that into the garbage with a huff, making sure to toss a wide grin over your shoulder as they later slipped out of the restaurant and he waggled his fingers near his ear in the shape of a telephone, as though you were going to run home and reach out.
“I told Steve I was going to make us dinner since he’s working late on a job, so I’m going to head out.” You huff out a breath, staring up at the clock that reads seven. “Though I think I’m going to need to grab caffeine. I don’t think I sat down once today.”
“Get out of here!” Eddie shouts, sneaking over to loop an arm around Abi’s shoulder, pressing a kiss to her temple. Something like longing bubbles up in your stomach at the sight, the craving for what they have simmering with it. “Or else you’re fired. You’ve worked late every day this week. If you get sick, that’s on you.”
“Fine!” Your hands wave in front of you in defeat, waving to the two of them as you slip out the front doors of the restaurant and onto the sidewalk.
At this time of evening, those wandering the streets are quieter. Bags full of goodies from their excursions. You tug your jacket tighter to yourself as you slip on by, waving to those who have started to become normal faces once more over the weeks in Hawkins. They wave back, grinning like they used to. Greeting you like you hadn’t been gone for three years.
It's strange to think of being gone now.
Strange to think of leaving again.
You find you don’t want to leave again.
And fortunately, no one from home has tried to make an effort to bring you back to the city kicking and screaming. Part of that is by design — leaving no way for them to contact you in the first place. No one knows you’re staying with Steve. No one really even knows where Steve is these days, given he’s not been in contact with his family since they left in 1986 as it is.
You want to keep it that way.
Smiling to yourself, you slip in through the front door of Hawkin’s Brew, a little family run coffee shop that sits a few doors down from your job, smelling like cinnamon and spices, and the freshly brewed coffee you can see percolating over the countertop.
A new barista lifts her head up over the counter. All wavy blonde hair that reminds you of a mermaid and sparkling green eyes around a pair of thick lashes anyone would die for. Gorgeous, she’s absolutely gorgeous and you definitely would have remembered her face if she’d been there before.
“Hiya!” she greets, beaming widely, revealing a glowing set of white teeth that flash in your vision. “You look confused. My mom, Mary Jo, is usually here with my dad. But mom wasn’t feeling well, and I’d finished up at the preschool, so I’m here to help. I don’t think I’ve seen you around. I’m Lucy!”
You offer your name and a soft ‘hi,’ still a little startled by the exuberant greeting. “Nice to meet you, Lucy. Sorry to hear about Mary Jo. I hope she starts to feel better soon.”
Lucy leans her elbow against the counter, and you can’t help but admire the cream colored chunky knit sweater she’s wearing with a flowing skirt to finish off the look. It looks effortless on her.
“What can I get you today?”
“A hot coffee, cream two sugars please,” you tell her, and she gets to work behind the counter.
Out of the corner of your eye you notice Steve’s truck he uses for work, the back full of leftover lumber.
“Oh, Steve’s here?” Lucy says, sounding a little faraway. Contrast to the ball of excitement she’s been since you walked in. “You know, he’s a confusing one, that guy.”
“Is he?” You laugh, watching as he rummages around his front passenger seat.
“Ever since the earthquake, he’s been giving up so much of himself. Charity, taking up the basketball team at the high school, helping out around town. Did you know he helped my parents build a shed last summer? By hand?” Her voice trails off, and that smile of hers grows once more, like she’s stuck in a far off memory. “And he’s handsome. Single. Yet he doesn’t date. Not really. It’s so…strange? But whoever he marries — they’re gonna be a lucky one.”
“Yeah…” Your brows furrow at her words.
Steve, your Steve, is something of a hero to these people. He’s your hero too, but it twinges in your chest hearing it from someone else. For so long he’d been yours, but now, it seems, he’s needed around here. Admired. Loved. And you’ve missed so much of it in running away. Time you’ll never get back.
He’s changed. You just never realized how much. An ache builds in your heart, wondering if maybe you’re too different now from who you both were years ago.
The man in question hops out of the vehicle, fingers carding through his hair as he gazes into the coffee shop, immediately lighting up when he sees you.
“Do you know him?” Lucy asks, voice raising in pitch as she hands you your coffee and you toss your bills onto the counter.
“Yeah,” you say, sipping at the coffee, “he’s been my best friend for years. I’m staying with him for the time being, actually.”
“Oh!” Lucy perks up, chewing her bottom lip. “So you’re the one he’s so —”
As your mouth opens to ask what Lucy means, Steve walks in. He immediately commands the attention of the shop, both yours and Lucy’s stares drawn to him as he slides an arm around your waist and tugs you against his side, oblivious to what he’s interrupted.
“I was going to grab you some coffee,” he says, fingers squeezing a bit at your side. He notices Lucy then. “Hey, Luce.”
Luce.
Familiar.
Jealousy burns. You try to tamper it down, to pretend the unspoken words between them don’t matter to you. But there are a thousand new questions that burn in your mind, with no words or standing to ask them.
Lucy waves in greeting, those pretty green eyes of hers glimmering in the moonlight spilling in through the front windows of the shop. “Always good to see you, Steve.”
“You too,” he agrees, head lowering closer to yours as he then asks, “Ready to head out?”
He’s leading you to the door, and you spare a glance over your shoulder to the woman you’ve just met moments ago. There’s a look you can’t quite place on her features, a furrow of her brows, a slight downturn to her softly parted lips.
You wave your goodbye, and try to push all of whatever that might have been into the depths of your mind.
——
Steve tosses and turns behind you. A fitful rest that has you rolling over onto your side, fingers brushing along the clenched planes of his cheeks. You can practically hear his molars smashing against one another, can feel the rapid thump of his heart in his chest as your fingers splay against his sternum.
At the touch, his face softens in the slightest. A low moan pours from him, a whine of ‘no, don’t’ cleaving your heart right down the middle.
“Steve?” It’s a whisper. A plea for him to come back to you in the waking world. He reaches out in his sleep and clutches at your tee shirt, clutching the fabric tight. Another whine. A whimper of a cry. “Steve, I’m here. I’m here.”
Sweat pools along his skin, despite the chill in the air. The tips of your fingers press to his forehead, running along the wrinkles forming high up on the skin there. His name is a whisper over and over again on your lips, a soft beckoning into wherever his dreams have taken him — a tether for him to grip onto, if only so you can reel him back in.
You’re no stranger to nightmares. They plague you, too. Dark, weaving things that sneak into your mind at night, tendrils clinging to the innermost workings of your mind. That day at the mall, watching as that monster loomed, dark and imposing in a colorful explosion of light. Billy, being ripped into over and over again. The spray of black blood, the cries of Max. The moments that came after, where Steve practically demanded an EMT to look over your ribs, despite the fact there was nothing one could do if they were broken anyway. And then there had been those images on the news — of classmates fallen to Vecna. Memories of the splintered down, the gaping holes in the earth, the spaces where many had disappeared into. Endless faces of the lost, declared dead or missing.
So much turmoil. More than some kids and teenagers were ever meant to see in a lifetime.
“Let go!” Steve shouts into the night, rolling over again so his back faces you.
“Steve,” you whisper, running a hand along his spine, “it’s me. Come back to me. I’m here.”
He rolls over again and his eyes open, locking on your features. Broad palms come up to cup your face, forehead descending upon yours. He mutters your name a little brokenly, moving to press his head into the space beneath your chin, arms looping low around your waist.
“I’m here, Steve,” you remind him.
There for one another, as you’ve always been.
In a world where people come and go, where you can’t rely on anyone, he is your rock and you are his.
“Shhh.” Your fingers thread into his hair, smoothing the messiness left in the wake of his endless tossing and turning. His breathing tapers off. Slows. Starts to deepen. “I’m here. I’ll always be here.”
But you fear the day he may no longer need you.
——
Steve’s…liked by most. Sought after. Desired. He’s popular, in a way that you’ll never be. With his friends, with his teachers, with women. Though he was your first kiss, you’re not even delusional enough to believe he’s only saving his lips for you.
He doesn’t do relationships often. He goes on dates and you watch him from afar. Can see the glow of his bedroom window, the hurt that burns like a knife when he sneaks a girl in while his parents are gone. Your curtains always shut when they kiss, when things start to feel like a betrayal to the foolish unrequited feelings you harbor.
It becomes a thing. Wishing and wanting your best friend as he loves everyone else around you.
Luckily, they’re always short dalliances. Flings. Dates that lead nowhere. And even though it hurts, there’s some comfort in the fact these things never last long.
That is, until Nancy Wheeler steps in. And you make yourself scarce. She’s smart and lovely and beautiful. She’s everything you could ever want for Steve — and she’s not you.
Just like everyone else he sneaks into his bedroom.
Because why would Steve Harrington ever look your way like he does theirs?
And therein lies the problem.
——
A month. You’ve been in town nearly a month and things are more or less exactly as they’ve always been. Platonic and full of yearning. At least, on his part. He’s not quite sure what to make of your feelings lately — and he’s never been one to push the envelope with you.
He needs a sign. A sign from up above or something just to show him that all his efforts have not been in vain.
It comes that afternoon. Sweat pools along his chest and stomach. Along his back as it ripples with each swing of the ax, splitting piece of wood after piece of wood. The plaid shirt he wears is long unbuttoned, stomach fully on display as he pauses a moment to reach down and sip some of his water set on a wooden stool nearby.
Thwack.
Thwack.
Thwack.
He’s so caught up in the monotony of the task, the methodical way he swings down and splits the wood, that he fails to hear your arrival. Only notices your form out of the corner of his eye, hiding behind a tree.
Or, at least, it looks like you think you’re hidden.
He can see the way your chest rises and falls rapidly, your fingers covering your heart, like you’re terrified he’ll hear it. The boots on your feet are pinched tight together, likely having stopped abruptly once you noticed you could potentially be caught.
And there’s that bottom lip of yours, tucked between your teeth. Biting back any noises that might slip out.
He doesn’t miss the way your eyes trail along his abdomen. How they linger on the newer muscles there, hewn by countless hours spent working as a carpenter. You look downright guilty — like a child with their hand caught in the cookie jar.
He adores it.
“I don’t mind if I have an audience, you know?” He muses, grin growing wider as you stumble a bit in the leafy pile at your feet.
His amusement grows as you tilt your head up to the sky, as if searching for something. Unfortunately for you, it’s a cloudy day, and there is nothing to see up above other than an endless gray sea.
“Steve…” you warn, still not meeting his eyes.
You’ve always been endearing. Sweet, in a way he finds adorable. And this sudden shyness when you’re typically so sure? It reminds him of those moments when he first kissed you, all those years ago. Your heart was like a hummingbird’s wings against his chest that evening, fingers trembling against him, unsure of what to do with yourself.
“Here,” he chuckles, walking over to curl a hand around your wrist and putting you out of your misery. He walks you over to where he’s splitting wood, “wanna try?”
“I mean, sure. How hard could it be?” you tease, back stiffening as he slips in behind you, sweat-slicked skin pressing against the curve of your spine before relaxing into him.
He’s already placed a new log on the block, the rest of his split pieces lying on a rack near the side of his home. Wide palms come to wrap around your hands, sliding them into place on the handle of the ax. One near the top for grip, another near the bottom for powering through the stroke. “Grip it nice and tight. Both hands.”
“Okay, like this?” you ask, looking over your shoulder at him, and his breath immediately hitches. Throat cleaning, he gives your shoulder a quick squeeze and steps back a little.
“Spread your legs a little. Shoulder width apart. Yeah — just like that.”
You’re a little sheepish as he steps over to the side, trying to put enough distance between you and him to feel safe enough. A cold breath puffs out of his lungs, the cloud billowing in the air before him as you glance down at where your hands are firmly grasping the handle, deep breaths to center yourself echoing in the forest.
“Now you’re going to pick a point on the wood and focus on it, raise the ax and strike through, focusing on that spot.”
“Sounds easy enough,” you nervously murmur, doing exactly as he instructed, the ax rising above your head.
As you swing downward, the ax wedges into the wood, and you stumble to the ground, kicking up leaves as your bottom slams against the forest floor. Steve stumbles forward to check if you’re okay, but when your sides start trembling with uncontrollable laughter, his face breaks out into a grin.
He loves you, and he aches with it. More — now that you’re living with him.
“Guess you don’t want me helping you on any jobs, huh?”
A couple days later, however, you do exactly that.
Mr. Gerry Jones is an older man in town, and in desperate need of a new paint job for his living room before he tries to sell his home. Steve agreed to help weeks ago, and when his partner comes down with the flu, decides to ask you if you want to come along. He finds you laying on the couch that morning with a book, and he hardly expects you to say yes with the amount of hours you’ve been working at the Hideout, but you quickly jump to attention with a nearly shouted ‘yes.’
Now you sit beside him on the floor, admiring the freshly painted wall, taking a moment to breathe before starting the next one. You’re wearing a pair of overalls, a ratty old tee shirt tied up beneath, revealing the curve of your side, a patch of skin that Steve’s been trying to not stare at for the past few hours.
His heart clenches as your head tips over your shoulder, a little splatter of olive colored paint across your cheek. Reaching out, he cups your cheek and wipes it away, warming as you lean a bit into his touch.
Neither of you dares to acknowledge the tension burning in the room. The way it feels like time seems to slow to a halt when you’re there, shuffling up onto your feet, moving over to the next wall. Steve only talks. Begins prattling on about anything and everything, trying to keep himself distracted from the feeling swirling in his gut — the desire that has only grown every day to see what might happen if he just dared to try. To close the gap between your lips and put to bed all the questions.
But he doesn’t. Instead he gazes ahead, mouth dropping open when he asks about what your relationship with Clark was like — in what feels like an attempt to torture himself — and you utter that you’d never really done anything with him.
“Or anyone…for that matter,” you add slowly, your bottom lip pushing between your teeth, voice a little quiet.
“Like…?”
“I’m not a virgin, Steve,” you bark out, eyes rolling a bit in your skull. “But I’ve really only been with one guy. And it wasn’t even good or anything.”
“You’re joking.”
“Steve.”
“I’m not making fun. I’m just…”
“Shocked at how pathetic I am?” you drawl, taking a step backward. Away from him.
“No — I just —”
“It’s not like the movies either. All of the explosions and fireworks.” You frown, and Steve grimaces at your words. At the sadness lining your features. “I just — I don’t know. It wasn’t like how you’d always talked about it. We barely even kissed during it and I didn’t…”
“Honey…” he sighs, taking a step forward. “Clearly, he wasn’t the right guy. The right guy would have made it extra special, because you’re special, and definitely would have made sure you finished before he did. And I’m sorry but he didn’t deserve you, because you deserve all the explosions and fireworks.”
“Yeah?” You sound so hopeful, eyes a little narrowed, mouth parting softly.
“I mean…hypothetically…” he steps a little closer.
He catches your slow swallow. The way your chest heaves on a breath, eyes trailing his form. Heat burns in the atmosphere as your eyes narrow a bit, staring at him like you had in the woods. Appreciatively, and not at all like a friend. How long had he missed those looks? How long had he not noticed the slow simmering desire beneath the surface? Suddenly he’s back in that closet and a teenager again, only now instead of your jean shorts, his finger curls into the pocket of your overalls, chest brushing yours. Cornered, your back bumps against the presently dry wall behind you.
“If it were me —” He stops. Thinks better of it.
“N-no,” you splutter out, voice a rasp, breath puffing, “go on. Hypothetically, obviously.”
“Well, for starters, I’d start by getting down on my kne —”
“Hey, kids!” Mr. Jones calls into the room, and you both jump like you’ve been caught doing something you shouldn’t be. “Could one of you help me sort through some boxes? I don’t want to be a bother, but my back just isn’t what it was, you know?”
You throw a hand up in the air. “I’ve got it.”
Steve inwardly groans, his jeans suddenly a little too tight at what he’d been imagining doing to you only moments before — what he’d been imagining doing to you for years, if he was being honest.
You glance away, rushing over to Gerry, embarrassment rolling off your form.
And you’re gone, following the older man from where he came.
Conversation…over.
——
The window next door glows with lamplight. It’s after the earthquake that you see it. The earthquake that has you hiding in the doorway, holding onto the frame as the earth shudders and groans beneath you, pictures of your family now shattered frames scattered into a million pieces on the ground.
You grab a few things. Bandages, clothes, some water bottles. You can’t really tell how many people are over there, so you grab a pack. And when you ring the doorbell and Robin answers, looking stricken and covered in an inch of dirt, your heart groans too, because the look on her face is grim.
Steve throws his arms around you when you enter his bedroom, a whisper of, “You’re safe,” against your head. Reverently. Like he can’t quite believe it, like he wasn’t sure what he would find when he came back.
Your hands slide up and along his back, his body jolting at the contact, your fingers coming back a little stained with what looks to be fresh blood. “Steve, you’re hurt. I brought bandages.”
“He’s worse,” Steve utters through gritted teeth, “take care of him first.”
And there on the bed is Eddie Munson, with Nancy Wheeler there to rest a cloth against his head, whispering to the man under her breath. Soothing him, soothing those wrinkles that line his forehead — deep set in his pain.
With Nancy’s help, you get to work. Trying to cut him out of his clothes, careful to not agitate the wounds any further, apologizing for every whimper. Every broken sob of the man who fought to save a town that would have killed him on their own had they been given the change.
And later, after you’ve scrubbed your arms raw to try and rid yourself of the remnants of Eddie’s blood, Steve slides in beside you in the bathroom. Curls a hand around your head and tugs you against him, kissing your temple. Whispering something against your skull that you can’t quite make out. Steve’s not religious, but you swear he thanks someone for keeping you safe.
“You’re next,” you mutter, wiggling out of his hold, peering up at the dirty face of the man you love. “Strip.”
“See, in a different context, those words coming from your lips —”
“I’m not joking,” you sing-song, tugging at the bloodied shirt he’s wearing. “Off with it.”
“I can’t,” he winces.
“You’re getting modest with me now? I’ve seen you half naked more times —”
“I think it’s a little stuck,” he groans, turning around and peeling off the outer jacket. It falls to the ground and you can see what he’s talking about. The injuries, freshly reopened, cling to the fabric like a second skin.
You whistle on an exhale, and he laughs darkly. “It’s not so bad. Just looks like one area got a little angry. If you get in the shower, I can run a little water on it to loosen it up.” You lift the edge of his shirt a bit, noting the swath of bandages around his waist. “Who did these? They look pretty good.”
“Nancy.”
“Good,” you say, a little softly, “now into the shower, Harrington.”
You’re trying. Trying to make light of a terrible night. But you can see the pain in his form that runs deeper than the scratches on the surface. Can see it in the tension on his form as he slips out of his jeans and climbs into the tub with nothing but a pair of boxers.
Neither of you speaks for a while. As you turn on the water and try to soak his shirt. As you eventually peel the shirt away and whisper you’re sorry over and over when he hisses and bites back against the pain. Nor as you run a damp towel over the wounds to clean them, careful to not agitate his mangled flesh further.
But then you hear it. The sniffle. The shudder of breath.
“Steve,” you whisper, threading your fingers in his hair, feeling him tremble against your touch, “what happened tonight?”
He cries. Folds his face into his hands and cries.
You toss the cloth aside and climb in to hold him, because you’ve known physical pain, but this pain hits differently. Twists in you like a knife. You can handle your own pain, but seeing Steve break, seeing your hero crumble, is a pain that cuts to your marrow. Shatters and scatters your heart into a million pieces.
But you have to stay strong.
For him. For all the times he’s done the same for you.
He clings to you, fingers fisted into your shirt, and you don’t let go.
——
You don’t talk about that moment in Mr. Jones’ home. Neither of you bring it up for days. And yet — it’s all you can think about. The way he looked your way, the timbre of his words, the way heat had crawled up your spine. How it also pooled low, throbbed in your core in a way that was unfamiliar to you.
Was this passion? Desire? Lust? All feelings that seem so foreign, and yet you don’t fear them. You just ponder the new questions that arise. The curiosity of what this might mean — if it could lead to more.
On that particular day, both of you were off of work. Decided with Thanksgiving swiftly approaching, it was about time you went pumpkin picking. Pumpkin picking turned into a whole day event, where you and Steve took turns arguing over which pumpkins were suitable for the front of his porch, and which were suitable for decoration for the potluck gathering with some friends that upcoming weekend.
And after spending half the day drinking warm apple cider, sharing donuts on a hayride while bundled up in comfortable clothing, and racing each other through a corn maze, you’d decided the last thing on your itinerary for the “full Hawkin’s experience” was to carve pumpkins.
“In case you didn’t know,” Steve jokes, his knife poking out a hole for an eye in his pumpkin, “Halloween was a few weeks ago.”
“So what? We were busy and didn’t get to do this sooner,” you bemoan, cutting open the top of yours and moving to stick your hand inside.
“You’re just going in like that — bare hand and all?”
“What’s a little guts, Steve?”
“It’s gross,” he says plainly, eyes narrowing, “and messy.”
“What’s wrong with a little bit of mess?” Your tongue pushes out between your lips as you get to work, pulling out handful after handful of pumpkin guts into the garbage pail you set up beside the table the two of you worked on.
“I happen to not mind a little mess,” he teases, coming to stand over your shoulder, the heat of his chest at your back. “What are you making?”
“A Garfield pumpkin,” you tell him, scooping more of the inside out into a trash can. “I happen to be quite fond of your kitten. Maybe more than you.”
“Really?” he asks playfully, stepping a little closer to hook his chin over your shoulder.
“Are you jealous?” you muse, circling around.
Like this, your chests nearly brush, his palms come up to rest beside your hips, caging you in against the table. Heat pools low again at the look on his face. The firm line of his lips, the curve of his jaw, the round depths of his hazel eyes. There’s a look in them you can’t quite place — a look you’ve never seen in Steve’s eyes, or anyone’s for that matter. But you know you like it, thighs bumping a bit off of the table as you crawl up onto it, legs swinging beneath you.
Fingers come up to curve along your cheek, Steve’s thumb brushing the line of your jaw with a pinky. Delicately, like you’re precious. Like you might break. “You got a little something on your face.”
“Oh,” you whisper out, swallowing as he leans in closer, as his hips slide into the space between yours. “Steve…”
He steps closer once more. Hips brushing against the cradle of yours. There’s a heat from him that seeps into you. Grows as his forehead rests against yours and you both breathe in the same space, neither of you speaking, because there’s nothing this moment requires other than a nearness. His nose glides down the side of yours, one hand of his coming to curl around your hip, squeezing the curve of it. Your mind screams at you he’s going to kiss you, and your heart leaps because you want it.
“What are you thinking?” he asks, and it’s a loaded question.
You’re thinking you want to erase the space between the two of you. You’re thinking there’s a chance this doesn’t quite mean to him what this means to you. You’re thinking that you’re scared to allow Steve to see inside the part of you that you’ve kept from him all these years. But you’re also thinking if you’re going to play with fire, there’s a knowing chance you may get burned.
“I’m thinking…” you exhale, chest pushing further into his as your back arches a bit, propping yourself up onto your hands. Only, as soon as you do so, pain flares in the center of your palm, gasping breath coming out with a, “Shit!”
Steve’s there in a flash, fingers curling around your offended wrist that you show him. Blood pools up from the wound, the bloodied knife skittering beside it onto the forest floor when he shoves it out of the way. You hadn’t even remembered it was there, too caught up in the moment.
“Honey…” he sighs, thumb brushing along the curve of your wrist, glancing down at the cut, “let’s get you inside. You might need stitches.”
“No hospital,” you tell him, pinching your bottom lip between your teeth, “you’ve patched enough people up. This should be a walk in the park, right?”
“Yeah but this is you,” he says, and before you can ask him what he means by that, he’s helping you off of the table and steadying you when you land on the leaves below.
The bathroom is dimly lit by this time of day, even with Steve flicking the light on as soon as you enter. The edge of the tub is cool against your leggings, chilling your skin even through the fabric, as Steve rummages around in his cabinets for a first aid kid. And then he gets to work, sitting across from you on the toilet seat, making sure to irrigate your wound before dressing it.
“Not deep,” he says finally, inspecting the shallow cut that slices the center of your palm, “gonna disinfect it.”
A hiss pours from you as he does, pain flaring in the wound. Your free hand whips out to clutch at his pant leg, pinching the denim tight in your fingertips until the burning ebbs into a throbbing sting that beats in tandem with your heart.
“What did you mean before?” you ask as he starts to dress the wound, winding a bandage around and around your palm. “The whole ‘but this is you.’”
Steve pulls out a piece of medical tape and presses it to the end of the wrapping around your palm, his thumb rubbing along the inside of your wrist. “I can handle my pain, but I could never handle yours.”
You swallow, because you understand. You know first hand what he means — have experienced it yourself. Watching the man you love throw himself into harm's way and injure himself in the process. Having to mend his wounds, to see him hurting without a way to stop it, when all you wanted was to ease the pain.
“There you go,” he whispers, fingertips teasing along yours, before letting your hand fall back against your thigh. “No more pumpkin carving for you.”
“Thank you.” Your lip twitches as you climb off the lip of the bathtub, following him down the stairs.
“Steve, back there, I…”
“Come on, let me cook us dinner.” He pauses, stopping himself once you both realize you speak at the same time. “Wait — what were you going to say?”
You swallow thickly, the nervousness choking your words and drying them in your throat where they live and die instantaneously.
Not the time.
“N-nothing.”
——
“Don’t think I didn’t see how the two of you walked in together.” Robin twirls her drink around in front of her, brows arching as a smirk creeps along her features.
You sip your red wine, smiling to yourself over the rim. “I have no idea what you’re talking about.”
Although you do. You arrived at Jonathan and Nancy’s new home with a freshly baked apple pie in hand, and Steve’s hand against your lower back, keeping you close to him. Clearly it hadn’t gone unnoticed, the evidence apparent in the look Robin was sending your way.
Out of the corner of your eye you notice Lucy struggling to open a wine bottle in the kitchen, and excuse yourself from Robin’s side to greet the woman. She’s beautiful today, in a pair of black jeans, and a brick red sweater. Effortless again, with endless wavy hair and those glowing eyes of hers.
“Here — let me,” you offer, helping her to get the cork out of the bottle.
Once it’s open, you pour the two of you new glasses of wine and clink your glass with her’s, peering out over the kitchen island to take in the sights around you.
Nancy and Jonathan went all out. They lined up multiple tables around the kitchen, making room for friends and family alike. Their parents sit at one table, while Steve, Robin, Eddie, Abi and Argyle talk amongst themselves. Holiday music filters in through the radio, as Nancy and Jonathan carve into the giant turkey resting against the table covered in Thanksgiving themed plate wear.
It’s been a long time since you’ve had a holiday like this. This is warm and inviting. Back in the city your parents would rent out restaurants and have wait staff take care of your evening. You’d always resented the thought that, while you spent time in a cold environment under the guise of “Thanksgiving,” those employees missed out on time they could spend with their own loved ones.
And when Steve looks over, you almost feel like you could fit in here. Almost allow yourself to dream big — to imagine a world where when he lifted his hand and waved as he is now, it would be full of love, full of the newness of relationship.
“So you and Steve…?” you can’t help but to ask, turning so your back rests against the kitchen counter, offering Lucy a soft smile.
She returns it a little tightly. “We…dated for a bit.”
“Oh.”
You weren’t expecting that. Had witnessed a little something passing along their features when you’d bumped into her weeks ago, but never thought to chalk it up to them dating. On paper it makes sense. She’s a teacher, they work together, she’s gorgeous, vibrant, bubbly, interesting. She’s here. She’s been here. And she belongs here.
And you — you don’t know what you’re doing most days. You’re living with Steve, but for how long? You want to stay, or think you want to, but what does that entail? There’s also the lingering doubt. The fear that you don’t quite belong as you once did. Can see it in the looks from people as you pass. Those who haven’t seen you in years now regard you as a stranger.
“Yeah, we’d gone on a few dates. He was always such a gentleman…but it just…” she exhales, and you watch as her eyes trail his form, “he always seemed kind of…detached? He didn’t want to commit. Sometimes we’d be spending time together and he just…didn’t seem all there? But it all made sense when I saw you two at the coffee shop that one day.”
“What?” you splutter, red wine dribbling down your chin at the suddenness.
“He lit up when he saw you. I’d never seen him look at me that way,” she admits softly, sipping her own wine. “I kind of wanted to hate you for it, but you were so nice and he deserves to be happy.”
“Oh — we’re not — it’s not —”
“Not yet,” she teases, giving you a little eye roll. “He’s happy. And he’s present. Both are things that have changed within him since you’ve been here. I don’t think that’s mere coincidence.”
Her words settle within you as you later join Steve at the dinner table, leaning into his shoulder as he scoops your requested dinner options onto your plate. They linger even as the kids arrive for dessert and the group ends up playing endless card games, laughter lyrical and swirling around the room, growing louder as the drinks continue to pour into awaiting cups.
And later, as you sit on Steve’s couch in no more than a pair of leggings, a comfy hoodie, and knitted socks you ponder Lucy’s words again while a fire crackles in the fireplace.
“What’s on your mind?” Steve asks, fingers kneading into the arch of your foot, your head against the armrest, eyes closed in contentment.
“Lucy is really pretty…”
“She is,” Steve agrees, his fingers pushing in again, drawing a deep sigh from within you.
“She works with kids, she’s bubbly, she’s established. All things that you’d normally go for.”
“Okay…”
“I’m just…I’m — I guess I'm trying to figure out why you two didn’t work out then.”
Steve pauses in his ministrations, shifting a bit on the couch to look at you. “Honey…you know why.”
“No,” you retort, feeling anxiety bubble up within you, “I really don’t.”
“There’s always been someone else.”
“I’m not understanding…”
With a sigh, Steve scoots closer. Tugs you up and onto his lap to get you even closer, your knees thumping onto the couch cushion at each side of his hips. He grips your hips and stares up into your eyes. There’s an unspoken question. A whisper behind his stare. Begs for you to look deeper, to see him, to see his heart.
“No.” You shake your head, anger welling. Replacing that anxiety. “I’ve looked at you my whole life and you never noticed. Now? Now you decide you —”
“It’s always been.” His strangled voice breaks your heart.
“Then why didn’t you say anything? All this time, all these years —”
“I tried,” he interjects, fingers winding tighter around your hips.
“When?”
“First time I visited you after you moved away.” He sounds somber. Heartbroken in a way that’s foreign to you. “You’d gone inside and your dad and I had a drink out back. Remember?”
You nod, swallowing thickly, fingers running along the hair at his temple. He gives you a little squeeze, forehead resting against yours.
“He…I told him about my feelings for you. And he…well, he wasn’t supportive.” He exhales a wobbly breath. “He had his points. I had no money. He was right about that. I worked at a dead end job and was going nowhere. I had nothing to offer you. He…painted a picture of us in a few years from now. Asked me how I’d be able to keep you happy…keep our family happy. And I thought maybe he was right.”
“Bullshit. Everything he said to you is bullshit,” you snap, climbing off of his lap. “I never wanted any of that. If I had you, Steve, then I would have everything.”
“I know that,” he cries, jumping to his own feet, looping an arm around your hips. “I know that now. I’ve seen you here the past few weeks and you fit here. With me in my life. I want to stop wasting time pretending you’re just my best friend because that’s all I ever thought you could be. I want you here. I want you in my bed every morning and night, I want to touch you and, I don’t know, hold you while we cook dinner together. I want to kiss you just because I can. I want to hold your hand. I want all of that.”
He tugs you close, your chests thumping. His heart throbs against your sternum and you raise a palm to settle there, to push him back, but you find you can’t. He sucks the air out of the room when he’s that close — when his mouth is mere centimeters from yours, and all you want is to close the distance.
“I never felt good enough for you,” he breathes against your lips, his breath a shaky exhale. Lips graze against lips, your fingers slide up further, along his chest, over the curve of his neck, the slope of his jaw.
“You’ve always been good enough for me, Steve,” you whisper back, forehead nuzzling forehead. “I don't need all the money. I don’t want fancy dinners or cars, I don’t need the newest clothes, shoes, pocketbooks. I’ve only ever wanted you.”
He slides a palm up against your cheek. A thumb draws a soft line across the curve of your jaw. “And now? What do you want right now?”
“I want you to kiss me.”

A day never went by when Shunsui wasn't obsessed with her beauty, but today he found himself staring more than usual. Did it have something to do with the substance circulating his system or the short yellow dress Y/N was wearing?
Maybe both.
When Shunsui saw Y/N, he felt himself coming undone in the yukata she picked out for him to wear. He wondered where she got this dress from? Perhaps a gift from Rukia when she returned from the World of the Living? If so, he would surely thank her the next time he ran into her.
The dress held Y/N's curves perfectly. With every step she took, her tits bounced like they were dying to be freed. A few times on the stroll to the garden, the wind blew heavily to expose her garments. The pervert in Shunsui wanted the wind to blow harder to reveal more, but of course, the gentleman in him helped Y/N adjust.
Shunsui declared yellow was Y/N's color. It complimented her deep brown skin well—and the sun couldn't agree more, descending upon her complexion to illuminate the natural glow she already had. To think this day was supposed to be reserved for spending time with Y/N and relaxing. All he could think about was fucking her in that pretty little dress. Well, that sounds quite relaxing to him, at least.
"My love, you're staring," Y/N said while her eyes remained focused on rummaging through the picnic basket.
Of course, he was. How couldn't he? If only she could witness the lewd thoughts permeating Shunsui's mind. They were beyond obscene, visualizing her thighs suffocating his face while he ate her pussy until she was a cumming mess. Fucking Y/N, gazing at her tits bouncing invitingly until they fell out her top. He knew she wasn't wearing a bra either. The dress's material was thin enough to have her nipples peek through.
Fuck, she was so damn sexy. Shunsui's cock was growing harder the longer he watched.
"Can you blame me for having a beautiful wife?"
Y/N wrinkled her nose. "Hmm, maybe you're right. I can't blame you, but you could at least say what's on your mind."
"Why do you think something's on my mind?"
"Hmm, maybe because you're giving me those bedroom eyes, and your cheeks are quite red. I know you could handle your liquor."
He chuckled, using his free hand to throw up in defeat. "You got me. You'll probably think I'm a pervert if I tell you what's on my mind."
"Baby—I thought you were a pervert since we met. I don't think a few of your wet fantasies would make me think otherwise." The laugh he belted from his stomach pulled strings in Y/N's heart. So genuine. He needed this day.
Shunsui leaned back to pat on his lap, wanting Y/N to take comfort, which she had no issue doing. A delightful ache rushed to his cock from feeling Y/N's clothed sex on him. Her lips were ghosting over his, inches from kissing but instead taking in the lingering aroma of sake. She brushed her nose along the bridge of his nose, an intimate gesture they did to express their love, before wrapping her arms around Shunsui's neck and finding his lips.
While sharing a heated kiss, Y/N began rubbing her pussy on Shunsui to pull those husked groans from his chest. His free hand rested on the small of her back to aid the rolling motion of her hips. Y/N halted her movements to softly gasp due to feeling his erection grow against her clothed sex. However, Shunsui saw no reason for her to stop.
Shunsui chugged the last of his sake before grabbing Y/N's legs to wrap around him, having her comfortably straddle him. He placed his hands on her hips to continue her movements while massaging each other's lips. Every moan, grunt, and plea was devoured with the intent of wanting to do more than just make out, especially for Shunsui.
A greedy man he was when it came to Y/N. He wanted to discover every kink and pinpoint of her body until all her weaknesses were revealed. Any chance he had was used to taking his time pleasing her in ways she didn't know was possible, but Shunsui made it so. And today would just be another one of those experiments.
"I want you to bear my children, my love," Shunsui rasped, pecking her lips between words before peppering kisses along her neck. "You look so damn beautiful and sexy in this dress. I want to fuck you while you wear it."
"Mmm, let's go back—"
He shook his head. "No. Right here. Let me fuck you right here in the middle of the garden."
"S-Shunsui—I don't know if I'll be able to be quiet. And what if someone sees us?" Y/N words barely came out as normal. Her breathy moans only indicated she was on board with him.
He tugged her earlobe between his teeth, whispering, "Hmm, conservative now, are we? I recall you stopping by before my captain meetings a few times because you said you missed me—And lunch wasn't the only thing you were dropping off."
Shunsui earned a knowing look from Y/N that was filled with desire. She didn't even bother to argue because it was true. Y/N genuinely visited Shunsui at the barracks to bring him lunch. But there was just something about seeing him tend to his captain duties that had a pleasurable ache rush to her center. And let's just say when Shunsui walked her out of the room, she attracted a few stares from his subordinates.
She nipped on her bottom lip, letting out a deflating sigh. "Why have I married you again?"
"Because you love me, and I love you. Now come here—Sit on my face." Shunsui wasted no time laying on his back to prepare to feast on Y/N. She attempted to remove her dress, but he stopped her. "I was very serious when I said I want to please you while you wear this dress, sweetheart."
He sat up a bit to grab Y/N's waist to pull her onto his face, causing her to giggle. That giggle soon turned into a soft moan upon feeling Shunsui lap at her clit through her panties. The barrier of her garments acted as a tease and a surprise for something great. Her natural odor graced his nostrils, reminding him how he became pussydrunk, to begin with.
The feeling of Y/N's pussy being toyed with through her panties was a great delight—as if the material of her garments gave her clit more friction. She even found herself riding his face in hopes of reaching her release quicker. But she should know that Shunsui took his time pleasing her.
Libido was pumping through their veins, but mainly Y/N. Shunsui was a tease in more ways than one. However, she felt like she was on the edge of a mountain. She was desperate to cum, and although her orgasm was right there—it wouldn't come. Not until his tongue was pleasing her without the barrier. It felt like an everlasting sensation of falling out of the sky.
Y/N hiked up her dress to look down at Shunsui, seeing that pretty scarlet color decorate his cheeks. She just knew he was enjoying taunting her. His mouth was preoccupied, but his eyes twinkled a light of mischief and ecstasy. Y/N thought he looked so sexy smothered between her thighs, but she needed more, and she didn't mind begging for it.
"Baby, stop teasing me—please."
"Gosh, I just love when you're so needy and impatient for me, angel. Just this once, I'll give you what you want."
He slipped Y/N's panties to the side to attack her clit. He groaned from having her taste on his tongue, joyfully rolling his eyes back. Shunsui was hungry for this pussy. Taking care of Y/N was the highlight of his day. If only he could spend every day like this—spreading her ass cheeks to obnoxiously eat her pussy and second hole.
Shunsui's moans transferred vibrations to her throbbing bud, causing Y/N to cry his name. He slipped two fingers inside her to produce more of those dulcet cries, which went straight to cock.
Y/N was so wet for Shunsui and created a mess on his face. Being drowned in her wetness was no issue for him at all. Y/N's juices coated his facial hair and dripped down his chin. She kept whimpering his name, saying how close she was to cumming, and that only aided his feasting to become more passionate. Thrusting his fingers knuckles deep into her cunt while sucking vigorously on her clit. And he couldn't neglect the hidden flavor behind the long side of her labia.
"Fuck, you taste so good, cupcake. I love this pussy," Shunsui mumbled.
"Shun, suck me harder. I'm right there."
So sensitive she was when it came to Shunsui's touch. Teasing Y/N through her garments was the calm before the storm. She just knew as soon as she felt him lapping at her clit she would cum quickly. Her actions also proved this accurate—pressing her weight on his face, suffocating him between her thighs while riding his tongue.
Y/N began feeling herself and imagined Shunsui running his hands through her curves. Somewhere along the lines of yes, please, oh God, and a few more curse words was all that she could say. However, Shunsui fucking the air caught her attention. She looked over her shoulders to witness how hard his erection became. If she didn't know any better, the wet spot on his yukata was the overload of precum seeping through.
She bit her lip, thinking about how badly she wanted to suck the soul out of his dick. But that would be saved for another time.
Shunsui pumped his fingers faster and deeper into Y/N until he hit her sweet spot to pull back her attention. He consumed Y/N's wetness, slurping her juices and generating slurping sounds like her pussy was a popsicle on the verge of melting. His free hand was used to repeatedly smack her ass and rub to alleviate the sting. Shunsui knew she enjoyed his actions. How she clenched around his fingers couldn't say otherwise.
And it wasn't long before her orgasm washed over his face.
Y/N saw stars while riding out her release. Despite her moans being hitched, they still managed to push through. She panted above him and, as always, thanked Shunsui for delivering great pleasures.
Typically, Shunsui would continue pleasing Y/N past her orgasm because he enjoyed her sensitivity, but he was just dying to fuck her. He ran his tongue along her folds a bit longer before removing Y/N from his face. He sat her on the blanket to begin freeing himself from his yukata. She watched him with lidded eyes, chest heaving slowly, licking her lips with anticipation to see his girthy cock.
"You like what you see, darling?"
Y/N giggled. "Oh, shut up and fuck me already."
"Hmm, quite a demand from someone so worried about having sex in the garden."
She pulled him by the band of his yukata to have him inches away from her mouth. "I said—shut up—and come fuck me." And found his lips once more.
Their kiss was so passionately sloppy. Moaning and groaning from the lingering taste of Y/N on his tongue. He hurriedly lowered his yukata enough to expose his aching cock. Although Shunsui had all day with her, it seemed like he was still in a rush to fuck her fat wet pussy. He only left a few more smooches before descending into Y/N's neck to nip harshly at her flesh.
While he stroked his dick to spread his precum and prepare to be inside her, he freed her breasts from the dress because they looked like they needed air. How Y/N's full saggy tits jumped out her top was beyond obnoxious. Fuck, he couldn't resist sucking them into his mouth just to savor for a bit.
After showing equal love to Y/N's tits, he again slipped her panties to the side and leaned forward until Y/N was lying on her back. He grabbed her legs to hook one thigh under his forearm and pin the other. Shunsui ran his tongue across her bottom lip while his tip rested on her sex to tease, and just when she parted her lips to complain—he pushed in.
But of course, her pussy was stubborn, involuntary resisting, and only allowing the head.
He gathered saliva in his mouth to drip on his dick. Her wetness was enough lubricant, but Shunsui knew doing this would create that obscene queefing sound he loved hearing. He took his time working open her pussy, pumping tenderly until he was deep.
Y/N rolled her eyes and let out soft whimpers, indicating her approval of his actions. How was his tip alone able to bring her this much pleasure already? But no. She needed to take all eight inches of Shunsui to make him proud.
"My love, I—I can take it. Give me more," Y/N breathed.
He held his hips still to watch her, seeing how the sun was attracted to the tiny beads of sweat decorating her forehead. He noticed how tears began pricking the corner of those pretty chestnut-colored eyes. Y/N's hand was already resting on Shunsui's lower abdomen in preparation to hold him to alleviate the pressure. It didn't matter how often they had sex—Shunsui is a very passionate partner, and Y/N needed time to adjust.
But if she said she was ready… then she was ready.
He bottomed out.
She let out a pitched yelp.
He pulled out and did it again.
And again.
And again.
He fucked Y/N to make her cum all over his cock and milk her to breed her pussy. With every thrust, his balls smacked her sex. He was fucking Y/N at full force to have her breasts bounce uncontrollably. They sat so nicely outside the pretty little yellow dress she was wearing. This is what Shunsui was visualizing when he saw her in this dress.
"Y/N, squeeze your breasts together with your arms," Shunsui ordered, to which she happily complied. "Yes, just like that. Fuck, you're so sexy. So good to me, sweetheart."
"Shun, oh God! Don't stop fucking me like this, baby."
He won't. He won't stop fucking his sweet wife like a wild animal hunting prey. If anything, he'll fuck her harder until she gushes and creams his cock, and he paints her walls. Until she's crying his name from the pit of her stomach. Shunsui kissed Y/N's cervix just enough to deliver another orgasm and not bring discomfort.
Y/N's cheeks only grew warmer the more her pleasure was built. Shunsui was a lot to handle, but she molded around him perfectly with his patience to stretch her walls. Her pussy sucked him in and out. Based on how his eyes were glued between them, he was delighted by this sight. But Y/N wanted him to look at her.
"L-Look at me, Shunsui."
His dick twitched from her order that sounded too sweet. He gave her soft smooches to express his apologies. "I'm sorry, angel. You want me to watch you when you cum, hm?"
"Yes, please."
Gosh, why did she sound like that?
Shunsui freed her thighs to take comfort in holding her thick waist. He pounded into her to hear her pussy smile. He quickly glanced to see a heap of cream on his cock. When he returned his eyes to Y/N, he saw her squeezing her nipple while attempting to suck the other in her mouth. The visual of this was so pornographic. His dick couldn't stop jumping unruly.
He was going to bust soon.
And she wasn't too far behind.
"You're going to let me breed you. Isn't that right, my love? That's what you promised me, yeah?" But, despite his words coming out as a question, he wasn't asking.
More so, telling her.
"Yes. I'll do anything for you, Shun."
"You're always so fucking good to me."
His hands remained on her waist to fuck her, also pulling down Y/N to meet with his thrusts. He pressed his weight onto her to sensually kiss Y/N, overpowering her pretty two-toned lips with his tongue. Shunsui glided across her jawline and neck to suck fervently on her flesh to pull back those sweet yelps. Her walls wrapped around him acted as a turtleneck sweater providing warmth to his cock. It would only take a few more strokes until Y/N was a cumming mess.
Shunsui removed one of his hands from Y/N to move his fingers to her pearl to rub out her orgasm. His pace was erratic, and he was eager to feel her wash over him again. Y/N's moans reverberated around the garden, yet they were still sweet and soft. His grunts joined her sounds of pleasure to harmonize. Tears were rolling down her cheeks, and she couldn't look more beautiful—happier. Words couldn't describe how much Shunsui loves her. She was perfect.
"Ah—Ngh, oh my gosh, Shun. Baby, I'm cumming. You're making me cum," Y/N whimpered, sniffling her tears of joy.
"I just love hearing those words from your pretty mouth. You're so gorgeous, my angel. I love you so much. Always milking my cock with this warm, tight pussy. Fuck, you feel amazing." The praises Shunsui was saying to Y/N only helped build her climax further. She was squeezing him, and her pussy produced stirring wet noises. He applied more pressure to her clit and flicked it more quicker. "Mmm, cum for me, Y/N."
His balls were growing heavy. Shunsui put all his strength into his thrusts until they became sloppy, indicating his near orgasm. He repeatedly touched Y/N's cushion, which had her whimpering and toes curling.
He ghosted his mouth over her ears. "Let go for me, sweetheart. I want you to release everything on me. I feel you. Don't hold back, okay? I'm yours."
"..."
"I'm yours," he repeated in a hushed tone.
"Oh–f-fuck…."
And that was it. A beautiful wave washed between them as Y/N squirted and milked his cock, and Shunsui drowned her pussy with his bitters. His sloppy thrusts didn't halt until he ensured every last drop of cum emptied in her depths. He moaned her name, saying she was his good girl, calling her beautiful, and saying he would make her a mommy.
Once the couple came down from their high, Shunsui pulled Y/N onto his lap with his dick inside her. He showered her face with gentle kisses before finding her soft lips. Having Y/N in his arms was the best feeling he could ask for.
Upon parting from the heartfelt kiss, they held eye contact to share a look of lust. Two lovers, drunk off love and sake after fucking passionately in the middle of the garden. However, Y/N almost forgot she was in public until hearing the voices of his subordinates. How she yelped and curled into Shunsui, smothering her face on his bare chest, made his heart flutter.
She softly bit his flesh to show her playful frustration of agreeing to be fucked in a public setting. "Remind me to never do this again."
"Haha. I can remind you, but we both know you don't believe in the word never. Now, come on. Let's go home and clean up."

*it's awful and beautiful (coriolanus snow x f!reader)
♫ “LOVELY” BILLIE EILISH, KHALID.
☼ Summary: Your best friend wins the games. He comes home only to tell you he'll be leaving.

Thank you, @writing-fanics! <3 here is my shot. I probably could have taken more time... but just wanted to get it out. Feedback, comments are welcome! Thank you for reading all these silly stories. You're awesome! And I'll accept requests for Coryo...♥
‼ ‼ WARNINGS: feels, light naughty stuff, some fluff.
Tumblr media
Everyone saw on their small television sets and heard through the calls from the neighbors. Lucy Gray won the 10th Annual Hunger Games. It meant that Coriolanus Snow succeeded - he aided his tribute to survive the chaos of the games. Despite being against everything the games stood for, the Peacekeepers held you a few times when you attempted to rebel, a tiny smile grew over your lips knowing your best friend survived. You clasped your hands together, tying up your boots as you exited your home and ran toward The Snow’s residence.
You met his Grandmother outside of the home, you leaped up excitedly and hugged her quickly. “He’s coming home,” you whispered to her, swallowing back the tears pricking at your eyes. The older woman secured her arms around you, fighting back her own tears, and swallowed them. She wasn’t a woman who would show any weakness, even though she was relieved to hear of Coriolanus’s survival of the games.
You breathed in, taking a step to stand by the woman, still holding her hand. It took a few hours but eventually, you both saw Coriolanus exit the train but noticed his face was glum and his hair was suddenly buzzed off. You swallowed unsure of what was happening. You smiled softly at the woman before you finally let go of her hand. Coryo took his time to walk over to you and his grandmother.
“Is Tigris here?” He asked boldly.
“She is. She’s inside.” His grandmother pointed behind her, then turned to walk into the house.
You stayed outside taking a hold of his arm. “What happened?” You asked quietly.
His face stayed stoic, still, no expression, he wasn’t giving you any indication or what you could take apart. Then, you followed him inside after he walked in. Everyone gathered around in the small living space as Cornyo paced back and forth.
He finally broke the news he enlisted in the Peacekeepers. Everyone remained quiet as they took in the news. He wasn’t going to the university like he had hoped, he was instead going to work for the capitol - the same people that fucked him over. You pressed your lips together and stood up from the chair.
“That’s not fair. You did what they asked of you-” You started to say before his grandmother placed her hand over yours. “No. We can’t allow them.”
“Stop!” Coryo exhaled loudly. “Just stop. This has to happen. I made the decision, and tonight I want to spend it with you all. Can I have that?”
“Yes, of course,” Tigris swallowed her disappointment before getting up, giving her cousin a quick hug. Then, she joined grandmother in the kitchen to help cook a meal.
You crossed your arms, then nodded finally. “Okay. I’ll play nice.” You murmured.
The four of you sat at the table and enjoyed the meal Grandmother cooked up. You helped clean everything up.
The quiet filled the house, no one knew what to say. You found Coriolanus on the rooftop, touching the roses that were growing. You quietly walked over to him, making sure not to make too much noise.
“We can fight it.” You mumbled, reaching out to touch one of the roses.
“Please.” He answered quietly, then glanced over at you. “If I didn’t do it, they would make my family’s life a living hell. I am not going to allow that. We’ve been through enough.” He tightened his jaw. You could see the worry fall over his face for a brief moment, then it fell away.
You reached up to touch the side of his cheek, dragging your fingertips across his jawline. He turned his body so he positioned himself in front of you. He leaned in and crushed his lips against yours. You didn’t hesitate and kissed him back knowing this would be the last time you would probably see him.
He slipped his hands underneath your blouse to get a feel of your body, goosebumps were beginning to take over your body. You smashed your hips against his letting out a weak whimper. You allowed him to press your body against the brick wall, hiking up your leg to rest your knee against the side of his body.
“I love you, Coryo,” you confessed. Your lips met his again with heat and passion filling the two of you. You tugged down your bottoms, then pulled back your skirt. You tried to pull down his trousers before he ended up taking over. He groaned against your mouth before he slipped himself inside of you.
Each thrust was growing desperate, harder than before. There was a slight pain but you didn’t want him to stop. He nuzzled his face against the crook of your neck as he continued to move inside of you.
You dragged your fingers along his shoulders, craving his touch and him being close to you. Your body was growing with passion when you felt his mouth back against yours.
He lifted you up, not noticing your back getting scratched up against the brick. You felt the slight stings but quickly forgot about them when his lips collided with yours. He groaned your name as he pushed himself inside of you, deeper.
You could feel yourself reaching the climax. You exhaled his name, dropping your shoulders. You kissed him before resting your forehead against his, catching your breath. His hands rested against your hips and kissed your neck.
“I’m fucking scared,” he whispered.
“I’m here. I’ll always be here.” You promised followed by a soft kiss to his forehead. He closed his eyes as he breathed you in. You two stayed entangled in each other for a moment longer. Then, he pulled out of you, and helping you to your feet. You both got changed to look a little more put together.
“I love you.” He kissed your forehead.
The next day, you watched him board the train, forcing a sad smile as he looked between his grandmother and cousin.
Once he locked eyes with you, you nodded your head, creating a criss-cross over your chest where your heart was. He half smiled and returned the gesture before boarding the bus.

TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN
—ALTERNATE UNIVERSE
Pairing: Azrael Eveningstar x Seraphim Angel! Reader
Genre: romance
Warnings: mentions of sex but not written into detail.
Notes: an alternate universe where [y/n]'s family is complete, Xavier doesn't have any daddy issues nor has any hatred for Charlie as he doesn't give any crap about her and Lucifer, where it was simply the wrong person and wrong time. Where it was Azrael who is endgame.
Additional notes: this is for the anon that requested an Azrael x reader fic 🫶 this has no relevance to the actual series but this was originally the route I wanted to write but didn't go through as it is a Lucifer x reader 😔
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Swans, they tend to be the kind of creatures who would 'mate for life' choosing one partner till the end of their time, although there are instances where 'divorce' happens.
All throughout his life, Azrael made sure to be there for [y/n], his closest and most genuine friend. As the angel of death, most angels are wary of him. Unlike most angels, his appearance or type of fashion is on the darker spectrum, choosing to wear the colors black, gold, and white for his outfits and not to mention, his angel wings are as black as the abyss.
[Y/n] has been there for him, genuine with him and is not afraid of him. A rare gem indeed. At first, he only saw her as a friend but slowly and surely it developed into something more profound.
He got his heartbroken as the most beautiful angel of heaven made her his before he could. He had to pretend he was happy for them, he was happy for her—he could tell that Lucifer made [y/n] so happy and that is something he needed to respect.
Azrael kept his distance. Watching over her when he had the time.
Then Lucifer fucked up. Choosing to doom humanity and also breaking the heart of one of the kindest angels in heaven. Azrael watched as Lucifer was cast out of heaven together with Lilith, the first human woman. Azrael made sure to make eye contact with Lucifer as he fell. An eye contact carrying so many words despite the silence, you messed up, little duckling. Let the swan show you how to do it.
After Lucifer was banished, [y/n] fell into depression. She just lost the love of her life after all and on top of that, she was pregnant with that man's child.
Azrael promised to be there, to be her rock and moral support during these trying times, and so he did.
Azrael lessened his workload on earth, making sure to spend all of his free time with her, helping her during the pregnancy.
A broken soul fixing another broken soul.
He was there, he was there during childbirth, he was there all throughout Xavier's life.
It took a while, thousands of years actually before [y/n] finally removed the wedding ring Lucifer gave her.
“I think, I should stop holding on to the past.” [y/n] whispers to Azrael, they sat on the couch in the living room of her mansion. Azrael looked at her in surprise as he finally noticed the ring no longer present on her fingers. His eyes widened and [y/n] chuckled softly.
“It is what it is.” she says softly with a smile, placing her hand on top of Azrael's hand.
“Yes, I may have loved Lucifer but he chose to leave and I think I should stop holding on to someone who didn't even stop to think about his family. I think I am ready to give myself a second chance at love.” she whispers softly, Azrael's hand squeezed hers in assurance. Listening to her, something Lucifer didn't do.
Finally looking up at him, her eyes were gentle and filled with adoration, “Azrael, I was a fool. It took so long for me to realize that.... I liked you, I was so scared of the idea, scared of letting go over someone who didn't give a crap about me and his son. I am such a foo—”
Her voice was cut off as Azrael leaned down to press his lips against hers gently, not forceful. Enough to just their lips to slightly press, enough to shut her up.
“Shh... You're not, well... A little bit but that's not the point.” he says with a chuckle. Pale cheeks dusted with red as he shyly avoided her gaze.
“What matters is that... You realized and I am so happy right now..” he whispers softly, cupping her face with his hands.
[Y/n] looking at him with a blush on her cheeks, mesmerized and taken aback, “[Y/n] Caeles, I liked you... I like you a lot.” he whispers.
[Y/n]'s voice hitched softly, flustered by his confession. She smiled softly, “I liked you too. I'm sorry it took me a while to realize.” she says softly and Azrael laughs, not the usual mocking laugh he gives to others but the genuine one that she's privileged to hear.
“It's fine.”
The kiss that followed after was the sweetest kiss they ever experienced.
Tumblr media
The two actually took their relationship slowly, focusing on healing and parenting Xavier—though, the boy was already old enough to understand.
Azrael and [y/n] got married when Xavier was 124 years old. The boy was happy that his parents actually got married.
Tumblr media
The family was happy and had a healthy relationship.
Azrael built [y/n] a backyard tulip garden with a small river in both their heaven and earth homes. There he and [y/n] would spend swimming in the river in their swan forms, Xavier third wheeling as he watches his parents formed a heart together with their necks as swans.
Tumblr media
During day offs, the couple would make sure to spend time with Xavier, asking the boy what he has been up to while they were away for work.
The three would spend their day outside having a picnic by the river.
Xavier doesn't have any daddy issues in this universe, he doesn't give two shits about his biology father.
Xavier could easily approach Azrael whenever he has a problem, a papa and mama's boy.
Tumblr media
In the mansion in heaven, there's a large family portrait of the three that is hung on the living room wall.
Azrael standing behind the chair [y/n] was sitting on, Xavier standing on her right side. A regal look on their faces, slightly condescending even. The type of face rich people make during those royal portraits in movies? Yes, that.
Tumblr media
Azrael and [y/n] truly love each other. Very protective and possessive.
Azrael often gifts his wife jeweleries, often gifting her sapphires as he knows she loves it.
Tumblr media
Lovemaking is sensual and slow, doesn't happen too often but when they do. It's sensual and desperate. They can't get enough of each other.
Xavier has to leave the house quietly as he is traumatized.

Everything fits into place: Oliver Quick x fem!reader
Tumblr media
Part 1 here
Summary: After having fallen in love with you at an Oxford's library, Oliver planned everything out until he could have you wrapped around his fingers. Now that your school year is over, you have been invited to spend the firsts months of Summer in Saltburn. You were certainly not expecting what you found there, but don't worry, Ollie was already three steps ahead
Warnings: Post Saltburn fic, a little bit dark (it’s Oliver, what you expected?), age gap (he is around 15-17 years older), slightly innocent kin? (A little bit spicy, but nothing really sexual)
Requested: yes
Words: Something between 700-800 words
Author's rambles: As I have seen that people somehow enjoyed my shitty writing I decided to make part two. Hope you like it!

Oliver hadn't told you much about Saltburn, you could only gather the crumbs of information he left once in a while. A beautiful big home in the northwest that he had inherited from a woman he considered to be kind of his "second mother" after she passed away, that was all that you knew about it. Once he also he mentioned that she had met her through her son, who had been in Ollie's year in uni, that had committed suicide when both of them were young. All of that seemed like tragic memories that your boyfriend tried to bury in his past, so you didn't want to dig much on it not to hurt him.
But during the three hours long car ride that you had to do from Oxford to your Summer destination, you were expecting that at least he could describe it with more the detail. To your surprise he didn't and when the two of you arrived at the mansion he was able to call "home" now, just surprised was not the exact word you would use to describe what you were feeling. When the maid who had opened the doors of that palace to the two of you was ordered to dismiss by "Mr Quick" as they referred him, you couldn't help but ask.
"Why didn't you tell me you were practically living like a prince, Ollie?"
"Had to make sure you truly loved me and weren't after my money, darling" He answered plainly and tried to change the subject "Come on, let me show you the place"
"You know I am not like that" You protested. Maybe you wouldn't go as far as saying that you were offended, but you would be lying if you said his words didn't hurt a little at least.
You trusted him with every piece of your heart and soul. Told him all your secrets and all the times you had lost all your hope. You loved him enough to talk about it when you fell like nothing more like some broken mess that no one, not even him, could fix. And yet he couldn't do the same? Couldn't he trust enough for this until now Somehow Oliver managed to read your thoughts from the expression of worry on your face
"My beautiful beautiful y/n I am aware of It now. But trust me, I know better than anyone else how far people can go to gain power, I needed to be sure" His eyes seemed to darken a little for a few brief second lost in his mind until he came back and rested his hand sweetly on your cheek "How can I apologize to my beloved girlfriend for putting her through a trial?"
"Well, one of the few things you did tell me about this place was that it had a library" A little grin played on your lips while he held your hand and guided you through the maze that mansion was.
Four weeks later, you two were laying in the bed you have been sharing during your stay. His arm around your waist a little bit too tight, as you had learned he liked, and your head resting on the crock of his neck. It was one of those lazy mornings that you could spend peacefully in each other embrace.
"You know every day for the rest of our life could be like this" His nose and lips dancing dangerously close to your face as his hand rubbed your back up and down.
"Ollie, that was a funny one" A small giggle echoed in the room.
"I am serious y/n" His big blue eyes glued to you as he started kissing, your forehead, your cheek, your lips... "We could sooner than later. Marry, have you in my bed each morning, and maybe a few kids around if you are up for it. Doesn't it sound good for your"
"I need to finish my degree first, Ollie" His lips now on your neck, and gosh he knew pretty well that you couldn't say no to anything when he did those kind of things.
"Of course you have that, I am not saying otherwise" Actually, you didn't need to finish it, once you were his you wouldn't have to work a single day in your life. But if you wished to gain your diploma to be happy, he wouldn't dare to say otherwise. "Maybe after you graduated, what do you think about?"
You just smiled at his sweet trail of kisses, and he took it as a yes. Soon enough you would be tied forever, soon enough you would be his wife, soon enough you two would be better than the Cattons have ever been. Soon enough, everything from his plan would fit into place.

His eyes drift towards the window.
What time should it be now? 10 am? 11 am? He doesn’t know. Not that he is in a rush for anything. There is absolutely no haste to disappear before prying cameras sneak into his private space.
He should be at peace, a weird tranquility that is supposed to be easy. But deep down Jungkook is very much unsettled.
As he eyes the wide blue sky out of Jiwon’s bedroom window, his mind reels back to you. The last day he saw you, the way you were standing with a ring in your hands, the way he broke your heart and the way you marched out of his life with merely a goodbye. You didn’t ask him why he fell out of love with you, nor were you curious enough about what made him fall in love with another woman.
“What does she have that I don’t? Why can’t I be enough for you? How can you be so cruel?” These are the words Jungkook expected to hear from you when he dropped the bomb. But instead he heard you wishing him a good life and walking away from him without a single complaint.
Were you always ready for the blow? Were you preparing yourself to let him go? He can’t tell. But no matter how much he tries he can’t stop wondering what you are upto now. How have you been spending your nights or how are you coping up with the pain he has provided you with?
Jiwon scoots her body closer to Jungkook’s. Her nose brushes on his forearm. Jungkook freezes. Is he really thinking of you lying awake in his new girlfriend’s bed after breaking up with you for the same woman?
He is being unfair to both of you and Jiwon.
His eyes close on their own accord.
When he opens those again, Jiwon is already smiling up at him.
“Good Morning, handsome.” she says sweetly.
“It’s almost noon, I believe.” Jungkook chuckles, turning on his side, facing Jiwon fully.
“Really? Then we better leave the bed now. You can wash up while I make coffee for you.” Jiwon kisses on his cheek as she sits up.
“No. It’s fine. I have to leave.” Jungkook sits up too.
“Why? You don’t have any schedule today. Do you?” Jiwon pouts.
“Not really. Actually.. my house is a mess and I wanted to clean up before I get busy.” Jungkook reasons.
“We can eliminate these problems, you know?” Jiwon holds his hand, looking a little shy and sheepish.
“Umm? I didn’t get you?”  Jungkook is confused. He has no idea what his new girlfriend has to suggest for his house chore.
“I mean… Why don’t we move in together? It will be easy for both of us. We can take turns on the chore and spend more time together when both of us are free? What do you say?” Jiwon’s eyes are full of hope. But Jungkook doesn’t know what to say.
“I- Jiwon, I think it’s too early. We will have to talk to the agency as well.” Jungkook runs a hand through his already disheveled hair.
“Why will we have to talk to the agency? They already know about us. All we need to do is to inform them once we are ready.” Jiwon holds his hand tighter.
That’s the thing. Jungkook is not ready yet. Your words ring in the back of his head.
“Home? You mean the apartment you left because your agency said it’s risky to share a space with your girlfriend of three years? The same place you refused to meet at because paparazzi are keeping tabs on you as you are rumored to be dating someone else?”
He sighs.
Yes, he loves Jiwon but he doesn’t know if he is ready to share a space with her yet. Especially when he left you behind in the excuse of his career and prying paparazzies.
Jungkook concludes that it’s his guilt that is resisting him from going too far with Jiwon just yet. So he decides to wait, to take a little time to think more deeply about what he actually wants, not what he wants to want for the sake of his girlfriend.
“Jiwon, I don’t want to rush anything. We can take it slow and understand each other better before moving in. Let’s give each other a little more time, okay?” He says with a tight lipped smile.
Jiwon’s face falls a bit but she nods in understanding.
Tumblr media
“You must admit, the guardian of your new counselee is too hot.” Miseon mumbles as she chews down a spoonful of bibimbap, “he seems quite young too. Must have gotten married to his high school sweetheart or something?”
You narrow your eyes at her, “If you are trying to dig down his personal information then let me remind you that-”
“Yeah. Yeah I know. Confidential information and all. I was just curious. I mean usually both of the parents or mothers visit with their children. It’s probably the first time I saw only the dad coming in, that too, looking like a snack.” Your friend looks up at you with a quizzical gaze as if she wants you to validate what she just commented.
Yes. Hoseok is certainly hot and attractive. But what gripped you more is the way he is determined to be a good father to Sua, despite the complicated fatherhood he faced. The concerned look on his handsome face flashes in your mind.
“Y/N?” Hoseok calls your name as he stands up from his seat, getting ready to leave your cabin.
“Yes?” you respond.
“Sua.. she will be fine, right?” If you are not wrong then you hear Hoseok’s voice trembling a bit.
“I will be able to answer that after two more sessions I suppose.” you smile apologetically.
“Yeah. Yeah of course. I am sorry. I- I am just very worried.” His eyes drop to stare at the floor.
“Which is only natural. There is no need to apologize.” You voice. Pausing a little bit, you continue, “Sua seems to be more mature than the kids of her age. She is quite closed up as well. So, it is possible for her to hide some sort of things she is going through. I need to win her trust first to let her open up to me but-”
“But?” Hoseok grows impatient.
“But that is going to take some time. Especially because I don’t think she liked me. She might refuse to come back for the next session.”  You place carefully.
“Then? What do you suggest doing in that case?” Hoseok questions.
“I suggest outdoor therapy. Spending time with the counselee and their guardians in a place they like to visit together occasionally or frequently. And I also suggest Friday afternoons for counseling. Kids tend to be in a better mood and far more approachable when they are in their pre-weekend glory.” Your suggestion seems to put Hoseok at ease. “You already have my number. You can text me the place and time once you decide. Although I prefer the slot after lunch.”
He nods, “Great then. I will see you on Friday… after lunch.”
Hoseok’s dark eyes bores into yours once again as he steps towards you.
“It was nice to meet you, Y/N.” he extends one of his veiny hands.
You slip your hand into his, intertwining the muscles in a shake, “Likewise, Hoseok.”
Miseon claps her hands in front of your face, shaking you out of the thoughts of Mr. Jung, “Hey mate! Where are you so lost?”
“What? Yeah? Sorry, I was… thinking something.” you reply, jabbing your spoon in your bowl of bibimbap.
“No. Don’t tell me you were lost in the thoughts of your douchebag ex-boyfriend.” Your friend regards you with fake anger in her eyes.
“Ugh no! It was completely different.” you groan. Now that you realize, it’s probably the first time since your breakup that you have gone so long without having to let Jungkook’s thoughts seep inside your head. Meeting the Jungs was one thing but to keep on thinking of them even after they left your work place hours ago, is a completely different matter.
And it’s a very welcoming change.
You sigh, “Don’t call him douchebag. He is not that bad.”
Miseon’s eyes go wide at your response, “What is wrong with you? He left you for another girl, Y/N! How can you defend him like this?”
You sigh, closing your eyes, “I am not defending him, Miseon. Some things are not just meant to be, you know? No matter how much time you invest, some relationships are not meant to last. Just like you can’t help falling in love with someone, you can’t help falling out as well. And he fell out of love with me, he found someone more suitable for him. What’s wrong with that? I should appreciate him that he at least didn’t go behind my back and cheat on me. Yeah, whatever Jungkook did, did not hurt me any less but that does not make him a bad person. Everyone deserves to be happy, be loved, be in love… so does he. I just- I just need to accept it.” Saying these words out loud really lightens your heart. Maybe today can be the first step towards your healing, just as you thought at the beginning of the day.
“But what about your happiness? What about you being loved, being in love?” Miseon places her question.
“I don’t really know. At this point I don’t even know if I deserve to be loved or not. Maybe there is something wrong with me, isn’t that the reason none of my relationships were successful?” You smile at her with eyes full of tears.
“Cut the crap. You- I will strangle you to death if you say stuff like this ever again.”  Miseon jerks a fork in your direction making you laugh a little.
“Calm down, you angry woman.” you joke but your heart still feels heavy beyond measure.
Tumblr media
Everything about weekdays is fine.. Apart from the fact that you have to come back to a huge and lonely home.
It’s Wednesday and you sigh at the thought of entering your condo with absolutely nothing waiting for you. The thought burdens you, saddens you and you almost feel jealous of the newly married couple who just moved in last week.
You punch the key-code in, which is, by the way, your and Jungkook’s birthdates combined.
Placing the bag of groceries, you take a seat on the couch. The soft material soothes your aching back right away. You lean your head on the headrest, stare down at the cream-colored cloth of the couch, and caress it lightly as if caressing fragile memories.
“Jungkook! What is wrong with you?” you sigh in resignation, throwing your purse on the couch.
“Nothing.” He replies heading straight to the kitchen.
“Don’t avoid it. You have been sulking all the way home. Did I offend you somehow?” you head towards your boyfriend.
Jungkook chugs down water, crushes the plastic bottle and disposes of it in the trashcan so ferociously that you can’t help but be more and more amused with each passing moment.
The moment he is about to exit the kitchen, you come and stand in front of him, “Jungkook, what is it?”
Jungkook takes in a sharp inhale, avoiding his eyes from yours.
“Who was that guy?” His voice is low, decorated with a buzz that suggests his annoyance.
“Which guy?” There were a lot of guys at your reunion party and you don’t know which one Jungkook saw. Especially because he was waiting at the exit inside the car.
“The one that saw you off with a hug.” He grits these words through his teeth.
“O-Oh.. that’s Taeho, one of my batch mates. We used to be really close.” you gulp at the face Jungkook is making at your response.
“Really close huh? Is that why he hugged you so intimately? Wrapping up your waist, burying his entire fucking face on your neck? Just like a lover would? Just like I would?”
Jungkook is jealous. And jealous Jungkook is not a good news. So you clear your voice as you choose your words carefully.
“I admit that he was a little touchy. But he has always been like this with everyone. I promise, Jungkook, he didn’t have any other intention.” you reply calmly.
“Really? Are you sure?” your boyfriend starts backing you up on the kitchen counter and soon you feel the cold countertop through the material of your dress.
“Yes. hundred percent.” Jungkook’s tattooed arm comes to rest on one of your cheeks.
“Good.” his body presses onto yours. “You know I love you, right? I am sorry for my behavior earlier. I just can’t see you with anyone else. What if they steal you from me?” Jungkook’s expression softens and an adorable pout takes over his lips.
You giggle a little, “I know. And you, too, should know that nobody can take me away from you unless you give up on me.”
“I am never gonna give up on you.” whispering these words, Jungkook brings his lips to yours. Locking two pairs of the soft pillowy muscles as if to seal the deal.
A lone tear rolls down your cheek as you stare at the kitchen counter at present. Jungkook gave up on you and your love so easily, so fast and so readily that you didn’t even get the chance to ask him why and how. He looked so dejected the moment you pulled out the ring, that you had to take a step back out of embarrassment. You felt like you were throwing yourself at him when he was not at all willing to look at you properly.
You are about to reach for the tissue box kept on the coffee table but you feel your work phone buzzing inside your coat pocket. It’s a text from an unknown number, probably from one of your new patients.
“Hi.” “Seodaemun Children Park, Friday, 3:30 pm.”  “- Jung Hoseok.”
Tumblr media
If you are excited for an outdoor therapy, then you are not showing it on your face and absolutely not with your dress.
You decided to keep it casual with a pair of denim boyfriend jeans and a lavender-colored knitted top. You check your face a little before getting out of your car. You look fine. Not that you want to look extra pretty or something, it’s just that you don’t want to convey your internal troubles through your face.
A gush of fresh wind hits you as soon as you step out of the stuffy interior of your car. And you are smiling, without even noticing.
You decide to take a moment to admire the beauty of fall, the light chill in the wind and the dimmed sun heading in the west. Maybe Miseon was right. You should have taken a walk around your neighborhood instead of drowning yourself in bottles of Soju back in the days of your pity party.
Sighing to yourself, you pull out your phone from your purse to call Mr. Jung.
He receives it just after the first ring.
"Hello, Mr. Jung. This is Dr. Y/N. I have arrived at the park." You speak into the device.
"Hey, Y/N. Just walk straight from the entrance and you will see a huge fountain. We are sitting at a bench right beside that." His voice comes out thicker through the speaker of your phone but you can feel the cherriness in it regardless.
"Okay." You reply briefly as you cut the call.
Unlike you, Mr. Jung has chosen to dress formally. A dark blue three piece suit paired with equally majestic dark Chelsea boots signify an aura of authority in him. The attorney badge, sitting right on his suit, makes him look even sexier all together. He sits cross-legged, a sight that could take anyone's breath away.
You stare at him from a distance, unable to keep your eyes off of the man for some mysterious reasons. However, you compose yourself before it's too late and look around for Sua.
She's on the seesaw. She has her signature pigtails with adorable pink bows matching her pink dress perfectly. But the best thing is, she's smiling widely, which makes her look so damn cute. This father-daughter duo could kill people with their looks alone.
You start walking towards Mr. Jung but Sua sees you before him. Her expressions turn somber as she registers you walking towards her dad.
"Mr. Jung." You breathe out, standing beside the bench.
"Y/N." He stands up and greets you with the most beautiful smile you have ever had the opportunity to witness. And suddenly you find it hard to breathe.
"I thought you agreed to call me by my name, which is Hoseok, in case you don't remember." He teases you with a playful grin.
Your cheeks hit up with embarrassment "Ah, yeah. I'm sorry. I tend to be forgetful. But I didn't forget your name, Hoseok."
"That's good. I would have been seriously offended if you did." He teases you again, gesturing you to sit beside him.
“How is her mood today?” you question, sitting down beside him while keeping a respectable distance between your bodies.
“Gloomy as always. But she brightened up as soon as I told her we were going to grab some ice-cream here in the park.” Hoseok replies, staring at Sua.
“Did you see her face turning grey again as I walked in?”  You continue staring at Sua as she climbs off the seesaw and starts walking towards the bench.
“Umm.. yeah. She is usually very friendly but then again she is not quite herself these days.” Hoseok sighs.
“Hmm noted.” you mumble.
“Hey my little girl.” Hoseok coos as Sua runs into his embrace. She pulls his collar with her little hands lowering him down to her level to whisper something in his ear.
“What is she doing here?” you hear her say. It’s impossible to resist your laugh at this cutely angry baby who is very displeased at your presence.
“Sua. Where are your manners?” Hoseok scolds her.
“Hey. it’s alright.” you stop him, without realizing that you have reached for his arm in the process and placed your right hand there.
Hoseok’s eyes shift towards your hold and you remove your hand as swiftly as possible, mumbling a quick apology.
“I didn’t mind a bit.” Hoseok whispers. There is an undertone in his voice and again you don’t know what it is.
You have never been as clueless as you are about Hoseok.
Reading people has always been one of your greatest abilities, even far before you got into psychotherapy. Understanding what’s going inside someone’s head is nothing too hard for you. But with Hoseok it’s different. You feel exposed under his dark gaze when you should be the one to make him feel intimidated with you.
The way he looks at you, makes you feel like he knows exactly how troubled you are, how lonely you feel and how broken you have become.
Realizing you have been lost in Hoseok’s eyes for far too long, you avert your gaze to Sua.
“Hey Sua. Annyeong.” you give her a big smile but she remains unfazed.
“Annoyeng.” her small voices is sounds whiny.
You sigh. She is harder to approach than you assumed.
“You know my friends just ditched me. They went shopping without telling me that they had changed their plans. I was feeling so down, so I called daddy and asked him if I could see you.” you can feel Hoseok’s eyes still trained on your profile.
“Really? Your friends went without you?” from her voice you know she relates. And that is the main reason why you chose this lie.
“Yup. But it’s alright if you don’t want me to be here. I will-” You start standing up faking to leave the park.
Sua cuts you off, “No. You can be here.”
Great. That’s what you wanted all along, “Really? I can?”
She nods.
Your eyes divert to Hoseok again, who is staring at you with amusement in his eyes.
“Then do you want to go swinging with me?” You ask the little girl pointing towards the pair of swings a little far away.
She looks at Hoseok for permission and when he gives her an affirmative sign, she mumbles a little yes. So you extend your hand towards her, hold her and walk her towards the swing.
Tumblr media
“You know, I used to be so afraid of swings when I was little.” you are staring at the ground but you can feel Sua’s eyes at you.
“Why?” she asks. You feel a sense of accomplishment as she is finally interacting with you.
“One of my classmates pushed me so hard that I flew off the swing and ended up hurting both of my knees.” You laugh a little, “I didn’t go near swings for a long time after that.”
“And now? You are not afraid of swings anymore?” She stops her swing rendering it out of motion. Her full concentration is on you.
“No. I grew up so tall. See.” You show yourself off by expanding your legs.
“So.. when I grow up tall I won’t be afraid of Jaemin anymore?” she looks up at you, her expression is filled with fear. You know you need to be more careful from here.
“Umm.. that depends on why you are afraid of Jaemin. Is he… your classmate?” you speak softly.
Sua diverts her attention to her shoes, kicking dirt and avoiding looking into your eyes. She stays silent for a moment and you don’t push her to talk.
“Yes. He- he is a bad boy.” her soft voice quivers.
Another case of school bullying. Most of the teenagers you counsel are either a victim of school bullying or an unhealthy domestic atmosphere. But this is the first time you are counseling a kid so small troubled with bullying. Usually kids of Sua’s age are more likely to tease each other over small things but bullying is a complex concept. Hence, counselling Sua may not be an easy task.
“Does he annoy you a lot?” you place carefully enough so that you don’t trigger her unintentionally.
“Yes.” her eyes are still trained on her shoes.
Nodding to yourself, you decide not to push the conversation any further. Sua already looks down enough and you don’t want to ruin her Friday afternoon any more.
“Sua, what do you like more, chocolate or vanilla? I like chocolate more.”  You say, trying to brighten up her mood.
Her expression changes within a heartbeat, “Me too. Me too. I like chocolate a lot.”
“Then should we have some ice-cream?”  you extend your hand towards her.
This time Sua doesn’t wait for her father’s confirmation, she grabs your hand as you two hop off the swings and walk towards Hoseok, who is currently busy on the phone.
He smiles up at both of you as he speaks into his phone, “No. not tonight. I am busy. I’ll call you later.” and he cuts the call.
That sounded pretty much like the cancellation of a booty-call but whatever it is, it’s not your business.
“Hey you girls. Did you guys have fun?” he asks, taking Sua into his embrace again.
“Yes. We did. Right sua?” you giggle.
Sua nods giggling back.
“But daddy, you promised to buy me ice-cream, why haven’t you bought it yet?”  she pouts adorably and you giggle again.
“Pabo! It would have melted.” Hoseok laughs at her daughter.
“Oh. That’s right.” Sua exclaims, wondering hard. Even before you know it, you are laughing out loud. A fit of laughter escapes your throat at the cuteness of this father-daughters duo. The frequency of your laughter increases when two of them join you. Suddenly you realize it’s been an embarrassingly long time since you have laughed this loud, this freely, this genuinely. Suddenly, you feel good, you feel free.
Tumblr media
“Do you think there’s something to be seriously worried about?” Hoseok asks, walking you towards your car. Sua fell asleep right after having a bowl full of ice-cream. Hoseok tugged her into a blanket and put her into the car seat before walking you to yours.
“It will be too early for me to say anything but I will get there soon. She is a kid after all, I can’t rush with her. I can’t dig into her fears unless she is comfortable enough. That will do more harm.” You come to stand in front of your car.
Hoseok nods.
“Yes. You’re right.” he murmurs.
You swear to all the gods above there, they really took time to craft this man. His sharp jawline is a perfect contrast to his soft features. His dark brown eyes glint under the setting sun. And in this dimming light, he looks like a dream.
And maybe you are dreaming because there is no way he is stepping close to you now, raising his hand, bringing it closer to your face and touching you. But then his fingers brushes on the skin of your neck, gently picking something off from it. You feel goosebumps all across your skin and at the same time your face feels like it’s on fire, bazing red and hot.
Fuck. You are deprived of touches for so long.
“Loose thread.” Hoseok whispers.
“O-oh. Thanks. This top keeps losing threads.” an useless TMI.
“It does the job though. You look really pretty.” he whispers again and with that heart-breakingly beautiful smile of his.
That’s it. You need to run away as soon as possible.
“Ah, thanks. You are kind. Bye. See you next Friday.” you bow a little.
He takes a step back without dimming his smile, “Bye. I will be waiting. Drive safe, Y/N.”
You finally find your breath when he turns his back and walks away from you. This is unexplainable, this is not ethically right, you should be heartbroken, and you should stay miles away from stupid feelings but you just can’t stop admiring Hoseok. Currently you are more confused and clueless than you have ever been. And you absolutely don’t know what to do with it.

How they found out
2018 (Lewis) Nathalie is 2
It’s a nice day in Monaco, a lot of people who live in Monaco are now out of the country and it has a few tourists. The summer break is full on, Cecilia decided to enjoy the day and take Nathalie out, the mother daughter duo had a full day out. They went shopping, got Nathalie a new toy and a couple new outfits, Cecilia can’t believe how fast Nattie is getting bigger she’s walking, talking and eating. Then they got ice cream, Cecilia drove around for a bit while Nattie slept, Monaco is so small that Cecilia felt like she drove all of Monaco over 10 times, she stopped at a pier for a bit, Cecilia got out of the car, left the window open and lent on the side of the car looking out at the sea, it’s been so long since she’s partied on a yacht, it’s been a long time since she’s gone to any party. Period.
Does she miss that time in her life, yes, does she regret it, no. She'd do the same things all over again, make the same mistakes, date that asshole if it meant she’d have her daughter with her.
When Nathalie woke up, Cecilia decided it was time to head back. Having some disney music on, the windows down, wind in their hair, they were having so much fun. Glancing at the rearview window to see her beautiful girl smiling and moving around, made Cecilia the happiest woman alive.
Parking the car Cecilia got out of the car, grabbed their shopping bags, before she unbuckled Nathalie, the girl wanted to walk on her own. Closing the car and locking it, Cecilia held out her hand for Nathalie to take it.
“Maman, I don wanna goh home.” The small girl looked up at her mum with puppy dog eyes, pouting in the way she knew that Cecilia was weak for.
“Why Mon Ange? Want to spend more time with maman?” She asked with a smile, ever so patient, the way her mother was with her. Nodding, Cecilia smiled, she unlocked the car, placed everything back in locking the car before she held her hand out for Nattie, holding her mum’s hand, they walked around their neighbourhood. Nathalie was telling Cecilia about the play date she had with her cousin, or more like trying to, the two year old’s vocabulary was still very limited. One of Cecilia’s older brother’s sons is Nathalie’s age, so they often had play dates. Cecilia still lived with her parents, she never got to move out, her brother’s old room now Nathalie’s.
The girl let go of her mum’s hand and started skipping as they walked, a woman with her dog was walking on the other side, the dog suddenly barked, scaring the little girl, who stumbled and fell down, in an instant her eyes filled with tears.
“Maman!” She sobbed, holding her hands up wanting to be carried. Cecilia rushed to her making sure she wasn’t hurt before she scooped her up. The girl hugged her mother and cried.
“It’s okay baby, let’s go home, it’s okay, you’re alright” She hushed, rubbing her hand up and down the toddler’s back in a comforting manner, she turned around to walk back to their house, her eyes looked around before they settled on a familiar pair of eyes. There he stood her colleague, she knows they live in the same neighbourhood, Monaco is small but Lewis Hamilton lived on the same street as her. They’ve met before on the grid and at FIA events.
Lewis knew it was her, the girl’s crying and shouting for her mother, gained his attention. Looking from mother to daughter, he quickly assessed the situation before giving Cecilia a kind smile. He nods in understanding before he walks up the steps for his building. Acting like he saw nothing.
Cecilia wanted to cry but she hoped that the nod and smile from the older driver meant that he’d keep it a secret. From her knowledge of Lewis, from his character he isn’t the type to tell. She doesnt know him that well but she hopes she knows him enough to make that judgement.
Walking back home she hopes that she’s right.

2019 (Seb and Charles)
“I think you did great.” Sebastian said, making Cecilia roll my eyes at him, and sigh. The four time world champion took no offence knowing how frustrated she is, and he’s very close to the female.
“I don’t know about that.” Cecilia muttered and chose not to look at both the drivers with her, they were both out of their champagne covered clothes and into their team kits, the three finished their post race media duties and were in the hotel lobby slowly making their way to their rooms. They were all placed in the same level as each other, for the Canadian Grand Prix, it was accidental but none of them was complaining.
“Has anyone at Mclaren said anything?” Charles asked his friend, they have known each other for years now, cecilia was the only female who was at all the races growing up, not the only female at a race but she was at all of them, any race she could participate in she was in, and any race she could go to watch she went, because of that the girl’s social circle is big. Which wasn’t a good thing when the media found out about her being the new Mclaren driver, calling her all the names under the sun, ‘fans’ asking for her to be removed.
“No, but I'm on a yearly contract, I have to get as many podiums as I can to guarantee a seat next year.” Cecilia said and they got into the left, she leaned into the back of the elevator and crossed her arms.
“Then you got nothing to worry about, you’ve been winning Mclaren points every race, something not a lot of drivers can do in their first year.” Sebastian says, patting her shoulder.
“Says the great Sebastian Vettle.” Cecilia says and pouts, Seb and Charles laugh at her antics, Seb pulls her for a side hug. He’s been looking out for her since she was a reserve driver, she had met him a few times before she got into F1, she is a F2 World Champion after all.
“Come on Cece, you’re doing amazing, Mclaren has been singing praises about you since the start of the season besides we’re only 7 races in AND you won in Austria.” Charles said and the trio got out of the left walking down the hallway towards their rooms.
“Maman!” A young squeaky voice shouted before a small body crashed into cecilia. The woman instinctively picked up the girl, before she froze.
“Nathalie!” Another older voice shouted, the males stared wide eyed as another woman who they know as your mother ran over, a nervous and apologetic look in her eyes.
“It’s okay Maman I got her.” Cecilia told her mother with a small smile, Nathalie wrapped her arms around her mum’s neck and laid her head on her shoulder shyly looking at the men staring at her and her mother.
“Are you sure?” She asked not convinced, Cecilia nodded, her mother leaving back to her room which is next to her daughter’s.
“Is she yours?” Sebastian asked softly, he had no idea cecilia had a daughter, and from the looks of it he knew that Charles also had no idea.
“Yeah, Nathalie, say hi.” The young girl refused and hid her head in her mother’s hair.
“She looks so much like you.” Sebastian said with a smile, he could see the worried look on her face, he instantly knew this is the reason the girl disappeared for a year and a half.
“That’s why you took time off.” Charles concluded, saying what Sebastian was thinking, Nathalie is a spitting image of her mother, a mini her, with blonde hair and bright blue eyes, the eyes are something the Hannsons all had, a family trait. “How old is she?”
“Nattie, why don’t you tell them how old you are?” cecilia tried to prompt her daughter softly, the young girl looked at her mother, seeing them looking at each other, they couldn't spot anything that wasn’t cecilia, Cecilia is looking at a younger version of herself. “Come on, mon ange, you always see them on the telly.”
“I’m three.” The little girl looking at them and holding her four fingers out, Cecilia laughed and pushed one finger down, kissing her cheek.
“Such a big girl.” Sebastian told her with a grin on his face, making Nathalie grin at him, she’s at the age where she doesn’t like to be babied, and loved to act a little older, wanting to be independent. But at the end of the night all she wanted was to snuggle and sleep with her mum. “Did you eat?”
“No, I wanted to eat with maman.”
“Come on, let’s get into my room where we can talk, privately.” Cecilia followed the two males silently into Sebastian’s room, Cecilia sat on the sofa and Nathalia got out of her arms and started wandering around, her curiosity getting over her shyness. As the males sat down everyone made sure they could still see Nat.
“Why didn't you tell me?” Charles asked, he didn’t want to sound like he was angry or betrayed even if he was feeling a little sad his friend didn’t trust him enough to tell him she has a daughter.
“It’s a decision that my family and I took when I decided to keep her, and still continue racing, I was barely 18 when I had her, I got pregnant when I was 17, and it was a hard time, my family gave me the all the choices and told me they’d stand by me no matter what. But when I told them I wanted to race there were some things that we agreed upon.”
“Being the only female isn’t easy, people were already talking, brining a baby into it would’ve just pushed it more.” Sebastian added before Cecilia continued, again he understood her reasoning. He saw tears in her eyes a couple times when she was hounded and booed, she looks strong and unbothered on the outside but when she’s alone she lets her tears out, the one time she had a podium this year was just filled with boos and hate.
“Yes, and I couldn’t just tell anyone, I was hiding her, but if people started to find out then they found out, but I wasn’t going to parade her around. A couple of people at Mclaren know, and I think Lewis knows.” Cecilia ran her hand through her hair pushing it out of her face.
“Lewis knows?” Charles was surprised by that, yes Cecilia and Lewis weren’t enemies, but they weren’t close, not close enough for him to know and for Charles to not know.
“I think he does, you know he lives close to me and my family, he saw us once in Monaco.” Cecilia explained.
“He didn’t say anything?” Seb asked knowing that if Lewis knew he wouldn’t say anything to anyone anyway, you can trust Lewis with your secrets.
“No, never asked either, but I’m 99 percent  sure he knows.” Cecilia said and smiled at Nathalie who came over saying she’s hungry. The group took a break and ordered food from room service, in the meantime Cecilia left her daughter with the two men and quickly went to her room getting her daughter’s plastic plate, utensils and cup, with a toy she can play with. By the time she was back Sebastian had Nathalie laughing so hard. Taking out her phone she took a quick video wanting to savour the moment. Nathalie looked up to Seb so much and for some reason seeing him with her daughter made her so happy, her role model with her daughter. Seb already had two children and another on the way, he knew how to handle kids.
Cecilia sat next to Charles leaving Seb to play with her daughter, Charles took Cecilia’s hand in his making her look at him, he was smiling at her, before he pulled her in for a hug. Thinking about how hard it must’ve been for her, having to choose and take all those decisions at only 17.
“Mathew?” He whispered and Cecilia nodded into his shoulder, she tried not to tear up, it’s been over three years, but out of her family she never talked about it with anyone, she doesn’t want to keep her daughter a secret, she wants to take her to races for her to see her mum race in real life and not just on screens.
“But he gave up all his rights, couldn’t even stay for her to be born, his name isn’t on her birth certificate.” Cecilia told him and he squeezed her tighter, if she had another family she would’ve been so lost, he’s thankful for the love her family has for each other.
“She doesn’t need him and neither do you, she has a family that loves her.” Charles told her, pulling back and smiling at his friend.
“And new uncles.” Seb added before tickling Nathalie, who just laughed her heart out.
The food came and as Cecilia ate she helped her daughter and answered all the questions the two had for her, ranging from does Nat travel everywhere with her, to how hard she had to train to be able to get back in shape after the pregnancy.

2019 (Lando, Pierre, Alex)
The end of the first half of the season, summer break. Most drivers went back home to begin their time off. Not all drivers though. Before everyone heads home, some of the drivers decided to spend a few days in Monaco to party and live it up before they returned home. Of course those already living in Monaco were already there.
A yacht was rented for the group to have a semi-private time together and let loose, the drivers made a group chat and agreed on a time and date to meet up and just party, all plus ones and close friends invited. Charles had Lando, Pierre and Alex at his house for a pre-party hangout.
Cecilia made her way to Charles’ house first in her Mclaren, one of the guys would be riding with her on the way there, she planned not to drink, knowing she had to be sober for her plans with Nathalie the day after. Her mum told her to postpone her outing with Nattie to have a night out and drink and live like everyone her age, Cecilia wasn't like everyone her age, she has a daughter she has to think about. To Cecilia, Nathalie always came first.
It didn't take her long to reach Charles’ building, before she made her way up, having already been there a few times before. Ringing the doorbell once, the door swung open and Pierre was standing there with a drink already in his hand. An amused Cecilia raised her eyebrow.
“Cecilia!” Pierre greeted dragging the ‘a’ a little, looks like the drink in his hand wasn’t his first one.
“Piereeeee.” Cecilia exaggerated before she invited herself in, seeing as the Frenchman wasn’t moving. Making it to the living room, Cecilia saw her teammate sitting with a beer in his hand, Alex and Charles talking about something. “Looks like you lot are already having fun.”
“Cece, you’re late.” Lando told the older girl, with a little whine.
“I’m not, I came on time like we agreed.” The girl said looking at her phone.
“You left me with them, you’re my teammate, you're supposed to help me.” Lando fake whined making Cecilia laugh as she sat next to him. “When are we leaving anyway?”
“Daniel said the yacht will move in an hour or so.” Alex told the group.
The group decided to leave in 40 minutes or so, Charles’ girlfriend was on her way anyways. 20 minutes in, Cecilia’s phone rang while she was in the bathroom.
“Cece, your phone’s ringing!” Charles called for his friend, standing outside the bathroom door. “It’s your mum.”
“Answer for me please, I'll be out in a minute.” The female called trying to finish her business faster to get out. She heard Charles talking to her mum in french, but she couldn't make out what he was saying. Everyone in her family spoke French, Swedish and English as main languages, with a few speaking more, but the baseline is those three languages. So it wasn’t weird for her to have Charles talking to her mum in their mother tongue.
Getting out of the bathroom after washing her hands, she found Charles in the kitchen with her phone looking worried and conflicted.
“What is it?” She asked, holding her hand out for her phone. “What did she want?”
“Uh, she wanted to tell you that Nathalie is sick.” He didn't know how to tell her without scaring her, he thought about saying it in other ways, but how do you tell a mother that their child is ill without scaring them, you simply can’t.
“Sick? How sick, I was just there.” Cecilia asked, already moving, Charles followed after her. He cursed himself once he saw the look on her face, she’s imagining the worse.
“She said it wasn't serious, she just threw up and complained about her stomach.” Charles explained, the others looked at the duo, Lando and Alex having no idea what the other two were saying only knowing a few french words but nowhere near the amount they'll need to understand the fast and panicked French, Pierre who got what they were saying had no idea who they were talking about.
“That’s serious, I’m sorry but I have to go.” She got her bag and turned to leave, her hands were shaking and her heart beating in her chest so fast she wondered if anyone could hear it.
“Wait, you’re panicking, you can’t drive like this.” Charles said, driving over the speed limit in streets like Monaco is dangerous even to people like motorsport drivers, driving fast is second nature, but not when you’re panicking.
“What do you expect me to do? She’s my daughter!” Pierre choked on air it seemed looking wide eyed at the blonde woman. “I’m getting there, move out of my way.”
“What’s going on?” Lando asked moving closer, he’s never seen either driver mad at each other, but Cecilia was shaking, tears were gathering in her eyes as she tried to push them away.
“Fuck, fuck.” Cecilia cursed noticing how much she’s shaking, no way she could drive right now, Charles is right. She looked at Lando. “I uh, I have a daughter, who is sick right now, i have to go.”
“I’ll drive you.” Charles offred being the only one who didn’t drink. “Come on.”
He pulled her by her shoulder leaving the rest of the drivers shocked. Charles and Cecilia left, leaving the other three to put the pieces together, Pierre telling them what he heard in French and like those before them they started connecting the dots, the reason she took time off. Lando being her teammate, looking back now there were hints, but without context he wouldn't have got it.
A bracelet with Maman, flashes of pictures when she was showing him something on her phone, lots of I love you darling and what not, but he thought maybe she was dating someone, he’s seen her mother in their hotels but she doesn't always come to the track. A woman who can guess now is a nanny who’d come up to talk to Cecilia and leave. So many hints, but damn Cecilia hid it well.
“Who do you think the dad is?” Alex asked after they came to a few theories and conclusions, waiting for Charles to come back.
“Must be that asshole Mathew, they dated when we were racing years ago and continued until I'm guessing she got pregnant.” Pierre said, none of Cecilia’s friends ever liked Mathew.
“Who?” Lando asked, he had no idea who they were talking about, him and Cecilia didn’t really get close before F1, she was always in the groups above him.
“An asshole Cece dated for a while, filthy rich, a couple of years older, was taking over daddy’s job and wouldn't shut up about it.” Pierre informed Lando. “Cecilia’s also very rich but you don’t see her walking around throwing it in everyone’s face, don’t know who he was showing off to.”
“He used to stay in Monaco a lot, but from his Instagram I haven't seen him here in years, his Instagram was once filled with pictures of him and Cecilia but one day everything was gone, I thought that meant they broke up.” Alex said, frowning.
“Me too, she too deleted all their pictures, before she went MIA.”
They talked for a bit more before Charles came back, and filled in the gaps given permission by Cecilia and made them swear not to tell anyone, giving Pierre a look. They swore to keep it a secret, if this came out it would hurt their friend, the backlash could be carrier altering.
They got ready to leave Charles’ girlfriends texted that she’ll meet them there. One the way they got a call from Cecilia telling them(charles) that Cecilia is okay, she just ate something that didn't agree with her stomach. Lando shouted that he wanted to meet his niece before he went back to London, Cecilia laughed and told him to come over whenever. Pierre and Alex also invited themselves, making Cecilia laugh again, shaking her head at her friends who couldn't see her.
With a final ‘have fun’, she hung up.

Late 2019 (Max)
By this time in 2019 Daniel and Carlos also knew about Nathalie, they haven’t met her, seen pictures but they knew about her. With it being Monaco Grand Prix weekend, and under the reassurance of her family and friends mixed with her daughter’s pouty face and big eyes, Cecilia decided to let her daughter come to the race. She’d come in with her mum from the back entrance, with the help of Mclaren they were able to get in undetected. They were there since early morning, Nattie met Daniel and Carlos, they were mesmerised by the little girl, Charles once again was saying to anyone and everyone(that knows about Nattie) that he’s her favourite and he had a reason to say that, proud uncle.
Cecilia’s mum stayed with the girl in the drivers room whenever they saw any cameras coming around, Nathalie had a little nap before they went to watch the race from the hospitality.
It was race day, everyone was buzzing, Cecilia was starting fourth, not bad. She didn’t just want to win this race because it’s her home race but because her daughter was watching, and she looked so cute with the headphones she had on that muffled the sounds a little, the place is noisy as hell.
Starting the race, Cecilia had Max, Lewis and Charles ahead of her with Seb just behind her. The Monaco race is always a fan favourite, Cecilia knows this track like she knew the back of her hand, she ran it and drove through it, she can find her way around with her eyes blindfolded. This may be the reason she was able to get to second place, taking over Charles, before she took over Lewis. Cecilia was just thinking about how proud her daughter would be watching and knowing that her mum was the only woman in F1 and that she was beating all those men. When the race came to an end, she was back in third place, lewis having overtaken her in the final two laps but she had the fastest lap so that’s another point for her team.
Cecilia was grinning when she took off her helmet, happiness cursing through her, she wished she could win, but having a podium is something that she loved the feeling of, she’s becoming better and better with each race, and it’s evident in her scores. Mclaren are over the moon with her. She celebrated with her team, before she got weighted and interviewed.
After the celebrations and more interviews, the venue started emptying. Cecilia saw her daughter for a few minutes before she was rushed for a quick meeting. By the time she was done, most of the place was empty; a few teams were still present, also doing meetings or last checkups and whatnot.
“Maman, where's Nattie?” Cecilia asked her mother, seeing her sitting alone. The small room made her feel a little claustrophobic after a long time.
“She is napping in your room.” Going to her room to take her daughter home, she opened the door and saw the small blanket Nattie couldn't sleep without but she wasn’t there, there wasn't any place for the girl to hide in, but Cecilia still looked everywhere, with each passing minute she started to panic.
“Maman! She isn’t here.” Cecilia called to her mother who was talking with Lando now, both looked as panicked as her when they heard her words. “Start looking around, if you find her, call me.”
“I’ll tell the others!” Lando called as both him and Cecilia left the Mclaren garage, they went opposite ways, while Cecilia's mum started looking in all the small spots Nathalie could’ve gone to in the garage. Cecilia called for Nattie as she walked/ran, her eyes taking in everything as much as she could. Managing to take out her phone and call Charles while still looking around.
“Hey are you-”
“Is Nattie with you?” She cut him off, he could hear the urgency in her voice, frowning.
“No, I’m with Seb, we'll look for her.”
“Okay my mum and Lando are also looking, call me.”
“Okay.”
Coming up on RedBull’s garage, it looked empty, but Cecilia wasn’t leaving a place where she didn’t look. She crouched as she tried to see if the tiny human she gave birth to was anywhere. “Damn it Nattie, where are you?”
Standing up she was about to leave when she heard talking, walking in more, she was going to walk where none RedBull personnel were allowed, and at this moment she didn't care. And it’s a good thing she did, rounding the corner where her daughter was, in her orange Mclaren shirt and a RedBull(?) hat, in the arms of today’s winner, Max Verstappen himself.
Her daughter is okay, and looked like she was having the time of her life talking to Max. quickly texting her mum and Lando that she found her, before she made her presence known.
“Nathalie! Where were you?” Walking up to the due, once she was in range her girl leaned over and Cecilia easily took her form Max. “You scared me so much.”
“I’m sorry Maman.” She whispered not looking sorry at all, looking up at Max she found herself tearing up, she only just held herself together to find her girl, now letting a little bit of the panic she was feeling get to her, she couldn't help it.
“It’s okay, I found her walking by the garage and she said she wanted a hat like mine.” Max explained(maxplained) trying to calm the almost crying mother, he found out from Nathalie that her mum is Cecilia and he could see the resemblance loud and clear. “I came back here to give her one, before taking her back to Mclaren.”
“Thank you.” Cecilia said letting a few tears slip out of her eyes, Nattie seeing the tears on her mother’s face also started crying, Max instinctively just pulled the mother daughter due in his arms. He doesn't know why he did it, but it felt like the right thing to do, he felt one of Cecilia’s hands grab his RedBull shirt tightly and her hand was shaking.
“She was telling me how her mum was on the podium, how she was the only girl racing.” Max said to Cecilia, trying to lift up her mood a little, pulling back a little, Cecilia gave her daughter a teary smile. Max whipped Nattie tears.
“I’m okay baby, don’t cry.” Cecilia told her girl softly.
“Mum was just worried about you.” Max said in a tone Cecilia hadn’t heard out of the man before. Yes they’ve grown closer as drivers/friends, their relationship is different from the one they’ve had before, but Max is no Charles or Pierre, they aren’t as close as she is with them.
“Yes, mon ange, you have to be careful, you have to tell me or grand-mère where you’re going.” Cecilia said softly, pushing Nattie’s hair behind her ear, the hat on her head far too big for her.
“I’m sorry momie.”
“It’s okay baby.” Cecilia said and placed Nathalie on the floor, holding her hand. She turned to look at Max, she didn’t ask him because he might’ve not agreed, but she hugged him with one arm around the neck, yes he gave her a hug but she was crying. “Thank you so much Max, I was going out of my mind.”
Max placed one of his hands around her waist and the other one landed on top of Nathalie’s head in a comforting manner.
“It’s okay, I was just about to go find you.” He told her they were talking so low, Nathalie couldn't pick up on what they were saying.
“I owe you one.” Cecilia said and pulled back the hand he had around her took a few seconds before it dropped as well.
“Well, I’ll hold you onto that.” He cheekily replied, making Cecilia smile and nod her head.
“Whatever you want.”
“I call first dibs on babysitting duties, I mean not a lot of racers in Monaco.” He shrugged. “And Nathalie said she wanted to see who won today, so she may have to see me a lot.”
“We’ll see about that, I might just start winning.” Cecilia joked with the other driver, they held eye contact for a moment, shades of blue meeting in a stare they couldn't decipher yet, Cecilia’s phone rang breaking them from their moment, she fished it out of her pocket answering once she saw Charles’ name. Telling him she was at RedBull and that she’s coming, ending the call quickly. She gave Max another grateful look. “I’ll owe you another one, if you could just keep Nattie a secret.”
“You don’t have to owe me for that one, I wasn't planning on it.” telling thank you again Nat and Cecilia left for Mclaren where Charles, Seb, Lando, Danny and her mum were waiting, Pierre had to leave once he knew that they found Nattie.

There’s not enough Persephone x Reader. I need Yandere Persephone
❝ 💐 — lady l: we need it, anon. I made these headcanons of her as a romantic yandere and I hope you like them!! And it's 4 am where I live and I haven't slept until now and I have to wake up at 6 am... 🥰
❝tw: obsessive behavior, mention of stalking, manipulation, implied murder.
❝💐pairing: yandere!persephone x gender neutral!reader.
Tumblr media
Persephone is very subtle and calm about her obsession. She has a calmness and a gentle, peaceful aura that makes anyone let their guard down around her. The goddess is so soft and so gentle that it is so easy to trust her and fall in love with her.
She was so beautiful and so sweet that everyone fell in love with her at the same time and how could they not? It was not only her beauty that was overwhelming, but her kindness and care were appreciated and desired by all the gods of Olympus, but even so, she was never interested in them.
Persephone wanted to love and be loved in return but no god or goddess left her enchanted enough and there was still her mother who was very protective. But it wasn't just that, the goddess of spring wanted to have an overwhelming love, someone to love for the rest of eternity and she knew that none of these charming gods were that person.
And after years turned into centuries, Persephone had lost hope that she would find someone she loved so intensely. The goddess of spring had resigned herself to her fate of spending eternity at her mother's side. That is, until she sets her eyes on you.
You were a normal human and had your life like any other, a mundane life without much drama and you liked it. You liked the tranquility and calmness of your life and were satisfied with it. You loved spring, especially. You loved how the flowers bloomed after the end of winter and looked so beautiful. It was something almost divine.
In a way, you loved Persephone without even knowing her. You caught her attention during a sunny day, you were in your garden taking care of your plants when an unknown woman approached you and watched you. You were a little uncomfortable being watched, but decided to be polite and ask her what she needed.
Persephone was moved by that and she wasn't sure why. You had caught her attention a few days ago, after she decided to observe the flowers that grew where humans lived by herself and she found you taking care of some plants with so much care and love that she was captivated.
It was as if you took care of her, because she was the goddess of spring and you loved this season. Persephone needed to know more about you and she knew quickly when investigating her life. She was pleased with what she discovered and just needed to get closer to you.
Persephone was so gentle and subtle with her feelings that no one noticed anything seemed wrong. You fell in love with this goddess and she fell in love with you, and everything seemed perfect. Persephone was so loving and caring, that once you were in her arms, you forgot everything that had happened. You felt safe and loved around her.
She is not possessive and does not feel jealous so often because Persephone does not allow someone to get close to you. She is an emotional manipulator and knows how to deal with your feelings in the right way and not allow anyone to steal you from her. You were hers and Persephone won't let anyone ruin that.
Persephone takes very good care of you, she loves you with everything in her and all she wants and demands in return is to be loved in return. She loves to spoil you and give you expensive or simpler gifts, her favorites are bouquets of flowers. She loves going out with you and strolling through flower fields or lying next to her in silence. There was something intimate about simply cuddling under a tree full of fruit.
The goddess is a great companion, kind and so protective. There's no way not to like Persephone. She loves with everything in her and will do anything for you because all she wants most is to see you happy. It's easy to get carried away by the sweet words she whispers in your ears and the loving touches. But maybe, if you take a closer look, you might find that she's not as innocent as she appears to be.
Persephone has a dark side that few know about, only those who have done wrong with her or with you know and it's not pretty. There's no way she'd let you see that side of her, not when she wanted to make sure you stayed with her forever.

girl please you are my only source of Shisui content😭😭 really feeding us shisui simps🤝🏻 anyways, if you feel like it, can you please write about shisui and (if you want to) your fav characters “the moment they realized they fell in love with you”
MMMMMMM this is cute asf! under the cut for length
shisui
he definitely already recognises he has Feelings with a capital F. he's a smart boy and unlike the other two he is pretty emotionally available. but he doesn't want to reveal his Feelings just yet because circumstances are tricky, and he doesn't want to go through all the emotions of a big confession just to not be able to pursue a relationship with you
side note this is ANBU shisui. so he's pretty busy and just casually risking his life on the regular. tbh you're also probably in ANBU and that's how you guys get to know each other so well
anyway he's been sitting on these Feelings for a while. and he knows you like him too. he knows. he indulges in some lowkey flirting from time to time, but he also tries to maintain some level of professional distance
and then you save his life and he's SCREWED
you're both assigned to the same mission and spend the entire time dancing around flirting/not flirting, trying to hide it from your teammates, just generally having to try really hard not to distract each other too much. then there's an ambush on your squad and shit gets kinda crazy
shisui probably exhausts himself a bit protecting the entire squad and manages to get himself knocked flat on his ass. there's an enemy stood over him and he's out of kunai and his chakra is depleted and he thinks well, that's that and then you're cutting down the enemy out of nowhere
he stares up at you like an idiot lol. you look like shit, you're covered in blood and your headband is lopsided. and he thinks you're the most beautiful thing he's ever seen
HE LIKES A WOMAN WHO COULD BEAT HIS ASS okay
in that moment he just realises how much he trusts you, and how well you guys work together. he can't stop thinking about it long after you guys get back to the village. he's literally dreaming about it. and after a few days he's like. this is love ig. wow.
shisui won't keep it from you for long. he thinks you deserve to know, even if it changes your dynamic as teammates. capital F Feelings are one thing but love is too important to hide. he might try to keep it professional (mutual pining?!?!??!), but I also see him going for a relationship here, even if you have to hide it from your superiors. and let's be real a secret relationship with shisui. it's hot
kakashi
see now kakashi. he knows he has feelings. but he won't admit it to himself. he says no thank you not today. he's so stupid lol he thinks if he ignores it then it'll go away
he can't really keep himself away from you though. he wants to distance himself and that's his first instinct, but he literally just can't do it. he keeps finding himself wandering into your path, or just happening to train at the same time as you, or listening more intently when a mutual friend mentions your name
and the whole damn time he's like ah yes this is normal friendship. you probably don't realise anything is going on with him though, because kakashi is just weird in general. he does all this strange shit and no one questions it. you encounter him in the makeup aisle of a store on the other side of town from where he lives, and he thinks the jig is up, but you literally just assume he's doing Kakashi Things. and he thinks he's so slick
when it does finally hit him though, it hits him HARD. I see him finally realising he's in love in a very random, domestic moment
okok I've got it. he's back from a pretty tiring mission and he just instantly wipes out in his apartment as usual, doesn't bother getting groceries or anything. he figures he can survive off the food pills in the cupboard for a few days until he has the energy to grocery shop
then you just.....show up at his apartment??? carrying grocery bags?? and start putting food in his fridge????
kakashi doesn't really know how to react to this, but he feels bad just standing there, so he kinda sheepishly shuffles over and starts helping you put the groceries away. and it's nice. this is when he realises
literally drops whatever he's holding. this is a big oh shit moment for him. he lowkey really panics, he has no idea what he's supposed to do with these feelings, it's the dreaded L Word and that's scary as hell. he goes super quiet and avoids eye contact bc he's convinced you're going to read his mind
and of course you think this is Kakashi Things yet again. he's just weird. even over the next few weeks when he starts acting REALLY strange - avoiding you like the plague one day, attached to your hip the next - you don't think much of it. and this makes it sooooo much worse for him lol. he's never going to confess on his own
it's honestly torture for him. he's losing sleep over this. kakashi hatake??? in.... LOVE???? impossible
please please please just let one of your mutual friends intervene. hopefully he (drunkenly) confesses to someone, and they're able to pull some strings to force you to talk to each other. he may literally pass out when he has to confess to you, but just roll with it
tobirama
oh god it's so cliche for tobirama but I have to do it. ENEMIES TO LOVERS
like look at him. he's so smug. he has a lot of pride, so he's pretty likely to end up having some kind of political/ideological rivalry with you. maybe you tend to very vocally disagree with his ideas for the village or strategies for missions. and it annoys him so much, especially because you're articulate and convincing with your points
so he's in this weird position where he has respect for you and your intelligence..... but you also infuriate him to no end. over time, he starts to dwell on your encounters more and more - he thinks about them even when he's training, or relaxing at home, or away on a mission. and this just pisses him off more bc he literally cannot get a moment's peace from you
hashirama notices this WELL before tobirama does. and it makes him all giddy and excited bc he knows what it means, but he doesn't want to ruin the surprise for tobirama lol
honestly it gets to the point where he will ignore everyone else in the room just to debate with you. it's at this point that he starts to realise he's got strong emotions towards you, but he kind of just brushes it off as a rivalry. he definitely doesn't even consider the possibility that they're romantic feelings
tbh. you're going to have to be the one to make the first move. unfortunately for you, tobirama is hot AND irritating, so he's going to get under your skin just as much as you get under his. it probably ends up with a pretty heated confrontation at some point
lets say you've had a pretty big disagreement at a meeting, and he ended up getting his way with the rest of the council. so you storm into his office later that day to chew him out. and tobirama is in one of his smug asshole moods bc he 'won', which means he's just smirking at you. and this is the moment ok just kiss him. wipe the smug look off his face
it takes him a few seconds to react, but he definitely pushes you off and orders you out of his office. at first he's absolutely furious, but then he realises a few days later that he can't stop thinking about the kiss, and not necessarily in a bad way. he finds himself wishing he'd kissed you back, even if just out of curiosity
BUT tobirama is stubborn so he won't admit that to you. he waits until he gets an opportunity to come argue with you, then seeks you out, and tries to goad you into kissing him again. hopefully he manages to piss you off enough to make you do it. because it's GOOD
he can't help but kiss you hard. probably pulls you into him by the jaw, wraps his other arm around your waist, won't let you go. don't wanna get too saucy here but I wouldn't be surprised if this gets a little steamy before he stops himself. he gets lost in the moment
then he pushes you off AGAIN lol it's so frustrating. this time it's bc he's like oh fuck. fuck. this is more than a rivalry
it's gonna end up a game of cat and mouse tbh. neither of you want to admit the depth of your feelings, but you also can't stay away from each other

Wedded Bliss
Navi!Quaritch x Human!Fem!Reader
Summary: You marry the love of your life, Na’vi!Quaritch, and enjoy a night of ecstasy.
Warnings: Fluff/Smut, just an amazing night with your love.
Notes: It will be a small ceremony, so it doesn't drag on.
Today was the big day.
You were marrying the love of your life.
You gazed into the forest, admiring the beautiful scenery when Wainfleet poked his head into the room.
"You ready?" he grinned.
"Yes," you replied, sharing a small smile back.
"Let's go."
---------------------------------------------
You laced your arm with around Wainfleet's as sweeping music started to play. The curtains were drawn back to reveal you, and then you began to walk down the aisle. As you made your way down, you peered dreamily into your husband-to-be's face. When his eyes fell upon you, you could see small tears making their way down his strong cheeks. You smiled shyly, stepping closer and closer. Finally, you made it to him, taking his hand.
"You look absolutely beautiful," he whispered.
"Thank you, my love," you said back, giving him a beaming smile. With that, the officiant began the ceremony.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here today to join this man and woman together in holy matrimony. They will read out their vows with Mr. Quaritch going first."
You looked back from the officiant to Miles as he began to talk.
"Darlin’, from the first time I laid eyes on you, I knew you were the one for me. You've always shown yourself to be both caring and strong. That’s what has drawn me to you since the beginning. You’re absolutely amazing and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.”
Tears began to fall onto your cheeks as the officiant turned towards you.
“Now, the bride will say hers.”
You took a moment to breathe in deeply, then you began.
“Miles, you have shown me what I’ve always l wanted in a partner. Someone who is willing to fight for the people closest to him, to protect them, no matter what it takes. You have made me the happiest woman in the world and I’m looking forward to forever with you.”
A prideful smile spread across Mile’s face, taking in every word that came out your mouth. Once you were finished, the officiant had the rings brought forth.
You grabbed the ring for Miles and held it and Miles did the same with his.
Miles, do you take this bride to be your lawfully wedded wife? Do you promise to love and cherish her, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her, for so long as you both shall live?
“I do.”
Bride, do you take Miles to be your lawfully wedded husband? Do you promise to love and cherish him, in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him, for so long as you both shall live?
With a smile, you softly said your answer.
“I do.”
Slipping the rings on the other’s finger, you then joined hands.
“By the power invested in me, I now pronounce you man and wife. You may now kiss the bride.”
With that, Miles brought his palms to your cheeks, with you resting your hands on top. He brought his face down to you, giving you a passionate kiss. Everyone cheered and whooped for the both of you. You both have each other small pecks and rested your foreheads against each other.
“I love you, my beautiful wife."
“I love you too, my handsome husband.”
————————————————————-———
The reception had been a blast. Everybody had so much fun dancing and giving speeches. Miles was a little nervous to hear Lyle’s speech, but thankfully, it was kept appropriate. The first dance you had as husband and wife was incredibly emotional. You danced to Perfect by Ed Sheeran, a song that you and your new husband had always kept close to your hearts. After a while, the party started to wide down. Each member of the party then stood outside as you both got ready to get into the limo and head to the hotel. As the two of you walked out, you both were showered with beautiful flowers and cheers from your family and friends. Ever such a gentleman, Miles opened the door for you,
"After you, my dear."
Smiling, you gave him a big peck on the lips and got into the vehicle, with him following suit.
With that, the drive to the hotel began. On the way, all you could think about was what would happen as soon as you passed over the threshold.
You were a little nervous since this would be your first time, but you had faith that everything would be okay.
———————————————————————-
As you made your way to the hotel, Miles could not keep his big blue hands off you. He was such a tease, making you giggle while also keeping an eye on the driver to make sure he wasn't getting an eyeful.
Soon, you made it to the hotel. You walked in, with congratulations from the hotel staff being sent your way. When you made it to the elevator, you quickly pulled him in, with him having to duck to avoid hitting his head. You tugged him down and started to sloppily kiss him. He gave an initial grunt of surprise, but he immediately melted into it seconds later.
As you kissed, the elevator stopped on your floor and the doors opened. Without warning, Miles detached his lips from yours and growled deep in his throat as he began to bridal carry you to the suite. You squealed and giggled as he began to make his way to the room. The door had already been left open to help and he was able to easily duck and carry you over.
Once inside, he turned around and locked the door. He turned back around and looked you up and down.
"Come here, pretty girl."
As soon as the words left his mouth, you swayed over to him.
Once you were standing in front of him, he kneeled down and began to undress you. He slowly slipped the shoulders of your dress down, further and further until it pooled at your feet. You stepped out of it, kicking it to the side. You returned the favor, stripping him of his suit. After you both were completely bare, you backed up and laid on the bed, and while giving a seductive smirk, mirrored his words to you from earlier.
"Come here, big boy."
A feral grin spread across his face, crawling over to you, his tail swinging back and forth. He put both his huge hands on your knees, spreading your legs apart, exposing you to him.
"My wife is already wet for me. I can't believe you're this worked up already. Let me take care of you, baby girl."
With that, you watched as he stuck out his tongue and licked a fat stripe all the way up your pussy. His tongue completely enveloped you, so warm and wet. You mewled at this sensation, reaching down and grabbing what you could of his hair, careful to avoid pulling his queue. The feeling spurred him on, devouring every inch of you he could get to. Soon, a weird feeling started to pool within your belly. As soon as you could register what you were feeling, the heat you were feeling inside you exploded. Your legs began to shake, and you moaned uncontrollably, your hips lifting off the bed. Miles laid his palm over your lower stomach to keep you grounded while you rode out your first orgasm. He gave you a few more licks before he met your eyes.
"Delicious," he said, licking his lips, a small burp slipping past his lips.
“Excuse you,” You scolded playfully. “Did I really taste that good?”
“Like sweet, sweet honey, baby.” He purred.
You smirked and watched as he started to climb onto the bed.
"Since this is your first time, I want you to have control. Come get on my lap and ride me, baby."
He proceeded to lie on his back, his arms resting behind his head. You sat up, got on your knees, and straddled him. You lifted yourself up so that he could line himself up with you.
"If it hurts too much, tell me and I'll stop. I love you so much."
"I love you, too, my sweet husband."
Slowly, you began to lower yourself onto him. A burning sensation ripped through you, causing you to hiss.
"Move when you're ready, baby girl."
You nodded and placed both your palms on his chest, followed by his hands resting on your ass cheeks. You stayed this way until the feeling went away. Once it was gone, you started to bounce up and down. You moaned and squealed, the unique feeling spreading across your body like fire. He guided you, lifting his hips up to meet you halfway. The sounds of skin on skin began to fill the room, getting louder and louder as he went faster.
"Do you like that, baby? Am I giving it to you good?"
You could hardly speak, managing to mewl out a small "yes" when you could catch your breath.
He continued to keep the pace, until you felt that same sensation again.
"Honey--I-think-- I'm about to--,"
"Let go and kiss me, baby."
You leaned forward, kissing him. As your tongues danced together, you came hard, squirting all over him. He guided you through your orgasm, with him following soon after.
You rolled off of him once he calmed down, completely worn out. After a minute or two, he got up to go to the bathroom. He came back with a wet rag and cleaned you up. After he was done, he came back to the bed and got underneath the covers. He reached his hand out to you and you took it, joining him beneath the sheets. You rested your head on his chest, tracing patterns across the stripes with your finger. After bathing in the afterglow of your union, he looked down at you.
"How was it?" he cooed.
"Absolutely amazing, Here's to forever, my love."
You leaned up to kiss him, once again resting your forehead against his.
"Let's get some shut-eye, princess."
You nodded and rested your head on his chest once again.
Once you were comfortable, he wrapped his arms around you and rested his cheek against the top of your head.
It wasn’t long before soft snores filled the room, the clothes on the floor a reminder of your amazing night.

Hi, if you can, please write something about Seth Clearwater imprinting with a very playful girl who loves to tease him and make him shy and nervous like lifting his shirt or kissing his cheeks, or else a scenario where they go to a school dance together and he declares his old crush on her. Feel free to change the things you want, thank you so much❤️
I love love love Seth! I had a lot of fun writing this. Thank you so so so much for requesting something. I’m new at this and English is not my first language so I’m sorry for any mistakes. As you can see I went a little overboard with this one haha! Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Are you serious? You wanna take me to the dance?” Seth could feel his cheeks warm up and he began stuttering a little. “I mean, if you want to. If you don’t that’s okay, it’s just I mean” Seth rambled on and it made you giggle a little. The last dance of the year, your last year. Your last chance to tell him how you feel. “I mean it’s the last dance and I’d like to spend it with my best friend” Seth blushes as he finishes his sentence. You slightly wince at the last two words but manage to smile. “Last dance, Seth. You and me” you share a smile.
You and Seth have a little complicated relationship. You are playful, sarcastic and very spontaneous while he’s very shy, quiet and soft. He’s always nervous about everything, even if it’s just talking to you. You are just friends but that doesn’t mean you don’t have feelings for the boy. The feelings started very early on in your friendship. You saw him evolve from a boy into a man.
Little did you know he’s feeling the exact same thing. He’s always so shy but knew you were right for him the moment he saw you and it all became clear the older you became. You are no longer the little girl he fell in love with, you are the woman he loves. And he plans to do that for the rest of his life, starting with the night of the dance. The perfect setting.
Three weeks later you’re waiting in the living room of your home with your parents who are beaming at you. “You look so beautiful sweetheart!” Your father holds up his phone to take picture number 300. You roll your eyes at their enthousiasme. “He’s here!” Your mother rushes to the front door to let Seth in. He walks in and you let out a small gasp as you see him. He’s wearing a black tux with a white undershirt and black bow tie. He’s holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a small box in the other. He hands your mother the flowers, giving her a small kiss on the cheeks and shakes your fathers hand.
“You look absolutely stunning” he leans down to kiss your cheek and you beam up at him. “I know right, I’m wearing a dress. I mean, that’s something” you joke and he smiles back. You look at the box in his hands and he opens it. A gorgeous corsage is laying there, matching the color of your dress. “How did you -“ you abruptly look at your mom who looks away sheepishly. You and Seth grin at each other.
The entire evening is full of laughter and jokes. You tease Seth throughout the evening and he just blushes or looks away smiling. When the dj announces the last dance of the evening, Seth takes your hand and leads you to the dance floor. “No stepping on my feet, Clearwater!” You laugh at him as he puts both his hands on your hips. He softly squeezes them as he laughs with you. “Just dance, beautiful. And listen to the lyrics while your at it” he whispers in your ear.
The song More than friends by Meghan Trainor and Jason Mraz comes on and when I listen to the lyrics I softly laugh. “You trying to tell me something or?” You try to joke but you fail miserably when he looks at you with a small smile. Your heart starts beating rapidly against your chest and you can feel your hands become sweaty.
“Yeah I am, beautiful. I have this stupid crush on you that turned into so much more. This is my last chance to tell you how I feel and I though maybe this would be the right moment. I love you, I think I always have. I don’t want to be your best friend, I want to be more. I want be the one you think about when you wake up and when you go to sleep. I want to be the guy that you point at and say “that’s my man” when you’re with your friends. But i get it if you don’t want that or if you don’t see me like that, I mean” you cut of his rambling and push your lips to his.
“I’m yours Seth, always have been” he smiles and kisses you again.
Last dance, last chance. And you wouldn’t trade it for the world.

One night, a few moons ago
I saw flecks of what could've been lights
But it might just have been you
Passing by unbeknownst to me
Do you know the feeling of your soul inexplicably catching fire? Of losing control of your thoughts all at once? Of your body being filled with enthusiasm at the sight of someone?
Y/N was very familiar with the thrill that hovered every time their eyes met across the room, as lately, it seemed to happen every time the young woman shared the same space with him.
It didn't matter how much she tried to deny it, or how much she looked for other justifications that would explain the butterflies she felt in her stomach.
One thing was for sure: even in a room full of the most important people in her life, she still found herself continuously looking for his big, beautiful, brown eyes.
It was almost like he was the light in every room she entered.
The driver's lips curved gently, giving her a small lopsided smile as he returned his attention to her brother, bringing his glass back to his lips.
The girl's attention dropped from his eyes to his soft lips, studying the sensual way his mouth moved as he drank the rest of his whiskey.
I wonder how his lips would feel on m- Stop, what are you even thinking?! Y/N shook her head, letting out a quiet growl, as she stopped whatever fantasy her mind was trying to create before it was possible.
We're just friends. She thought, trying to convince herself that this was just a moment of weakness. Maybe not even that.
Okay, sure, Y/N and Lance seemed to get along beautifully, the two naturally gravitating towards each other every time they got together. But in reality, Y/N couldn't help thinking that he was just being nice, keeping his future brother-in-law's little sister company.
Glancing at the boy beside the Canadian, she saw Scotty who, as if reading the thoughts in his sister's head, turned towards her and gave her a small wave, followed by a hand gesture to invite her to join them.
Y/N laughed nervously, shaking her head, and decided to walk to the large dining room table to get some more appetizers on her plate.
Nothing like good food to entertain a confused girl.
Life is emotionally abusive
And time can't stop me quite like you did
And my flight was awful, thanks for asking
I'm unglued, thanks to you
Her eyes admired the decorations throughout the house, adorned in detail, without missing a single corner. It was clear that the eldest James sibling and his fiancée had set no limits on their housewarming party.
Their new home was simply magnificent. Its rustic stone walls perfectly complemented its wooden beams and columns, maintaining the house's original charm yet giving it a modern touch.
The living room led to a majestic timbered window where Y/N seemed to spend eternities admiring the view from the top of the snow-covered mountain.
This really is Scotty's dream, endless snow, she smiled unconsciously.
"Uh-oh, she's smiling." She heard the Australian beside her, her smile growing exponentially as he leaned his back against the wall next to the window. "This can only mean danger."
"Shut up, you idiot." The girl shoved his arm playfully, shaking her head in annoyance. "FYI, I was having a proud sister moment, but I'm glad you stopped me. I definitely needed someone to wake me up from my temporary madness episode."
"Aww, baby sis, you're sooo cute." Scotty pinched her cheek, just like he always did since they were little, in order to annoy her. He knew how much she hated when he did that, so it didn't come as a surprise when she slapped his hand away from her face. "Hey! This is a no-violence zone. Just because you're an adult now doesn't mean I won't tell Mum and Dad."
Y/N rolled her eyes at the image of the smirk on her brother's face. "Just leave me alone, Scott. Go piss off Chloe or something."
The girl turned back towards the food, picking up a small pastry for herself, while the boy put his arm around his sister's shoulders.
He sighed dramatically, although she could still hear the smile on his face. "And here I was thinking you were going to say that I should 'go piss off Lance'... But I'm sure you would rather have that task for yourself, right sis?"
Almost choking on the delicacy she was eating, the girl started to cough, drawing way too much unnecessary attention to her.
Scotty was informing everyone that she was fine, enjoying her reaction to his words too much, as her eyes rose from the table.
And she couldn't help but curse her bad luck when she found Lance at the other end of the room, right in front of her, wearing a concerned look on his face, as she almost choked to death.
At that moment, she realized not even time stopped her quite like he did.
But mostly, she realized she was completely and utterly fucked.
And it's like snow at the beach
Weird, but fuckin' beautiful
Flying in a dream
Stars by the pocketful
You wanting me
Tonight feels impossible
But it's comin' down
No sound, it's all around
Scotty was patting her on the back, trying to help her, but he was interrupted by the sudden movement of the girl turning towards him.
"What the hell are you talking about?" She was nervously fixing her hair, her voice still struggling to come out.
Her older brother couldn't contain his laughter, letting his hand rest on the girl's shoulder. "Oh, my sweet, sweet Y/N... Everyone knows you're head over heels for our boy Lance! No need to deny it, especially to your big bro."
"WHAT?!" She yelled, drawing all eyes in the room back to her. She chuckled lightly turning to the crowd. Before anyone could say anything, she grabbed Scotty's wrist and pulled him into the kitchen. "What?!" She scream-whispered now.
"You heard me." Scotty said, crossing his arms confidently in front of her chest. "You have a big fat crush on Lance and you know it, I know it, everyone knows it!"
"Only someone blind wouldn't be capable of seeing it!" He continued to tease her, having too much fun making her uncomfortable. "In fact, even a blind man could tell by the way you sigh all lovey-dovey every time he walks by you."
"I do not!"
"Yes, you do!"
"No, I don't!"
"Yes. You. Do." Scotty emphasized word for word, making the girl give up, even though she would never admit defeat. The man took advantage of her silence to provoke her even more. "Y/N and Lance, sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-"
"Scott, stop! Are you a fucking child?" Y/N approached him, covering his mouth with her hand. "I hate you, I swear. Stop this nonsense!"
"Don't worry, baby sis, he likes you too. I'm sure of it." The snowboarder said, giving his sister a kiss on her temple and a final pat on the shoulder, and leaving her alone in the kitchen with her own thoughts.
Lance? Wanting me? That feels impossible. She thought to herself, feeling slightly disappointed.
But she never let those feelings hang in the air too long, immediately contradicting them.
It doesn't matter. I do not like him.
We're just friends.
Like snow on the beach
Like snow on the beach
Like snow on the beach
Like snow, ah
Meanwhile, on the other side of the wall, Lance swept through the crowd anxiously in search of the girl that he couldn't seem to get out of his head ever since he laid eyes on her that afternoon.
Though he himself also denied his growing feelings for the young woman, Lance couldn't help but notice how his palms were sweating, or how his heart was beating faster.
He just couldn't help but feel worried when she disappeared in that state, leaving him wondering how she was.
Waking him up from his ceaseless search, a familiar hand landed on his shoulder, making him turn and find his sister with a sly smile on her face.
"Thank God you chose Formula 1 as a career because you would make a terrible actor."
"What on earth-"
"Get that lost puppy look off your face, Y/N's fine!" Chloe laughed, shaking her head. "Who knew? Two Strolls and two Jameses..."
"I'm not- I was just-" The driver found himself stuttering, unable to form a coherent sentence. "Jesus, Chloe, we're just friends! Friends care about each other. Don't start with this shit again."
"Mm-hmm, sure, friends." Chloe pretended to accept the repetitive excuse that came out of her brother's mouth every time. "I love it when you lie straight to my face just because you don't have the courage to admit that you have the hots for my favourite sister-in-law."
"I don't have the hots for-"
"Hey, watch it, pretty boy!" A voice appeared from behind him as the mysterious person quickly hugged the Canadian by his shoulders, causing his older sister to laugh uncontrollably. "It's my baby sister we're talking about here! Control your emotions, Romeo!"
"I- She- I don't-" Lance found himself in an even more awkward position again, suddenly turning into a deer in the headlights as he was caught off guard.
"Ahhh, kids." Scotty sighed, moving to his fiancée's side, leaning his head against hers without taking his eyes off the boy in front of him. "So young, so in love, and most of all... so stupid."
Lance threw his hands in the air in frustration, turning his back on the couple as he headed to the porch where he would be able to finally get rid of the two of them.
This scene feels like what I once saw on a screen
I searched "aurora borealis green"
I've never seen someone lit from within
Blurring out my periphery
Lance carefully opened the elegant glass doors, being immediately hit by the intense cold that settled at the top of the mountain as usual.
He silently thanked himself for remembering to put on his army green padded coat and his grey beanie on his head. He would never have been able to survive those freezing temperatures without them, even if his Canadian blood helped him a bit.
Another factor that quickly contributed to his body heating up was the girl sitting by herself on the wooden stairs.
As soon as his brown eyes landed on Y/N, the driver could have sworn his heart started pumping faster.
Just a coincidence, he thought, this is all Chloe's fault for putting these ideas in my head.
Gathering the little courage he had left to face these new feelings that were beginning to stir within him, Lance silently walked over to her and sat down on her left side, making the girl jump in fright.
"Oh my God, Lance!" She brought one of her black-gloved hands to her chest in shock, as the other one removed the AirPods from her ears. "You were about to give me a heart attack! Please don't scare a girl like that without warning."
"Sorry, sorry! It won't happen again!" He put his hand on top of her shoulder, laughing at her reaction.
He took a few moments of silence to watch as her eyes sparkled with excitement as she took in her surroundings.
"God, it's really beautiful up here, don't you agree?" She said, almost in a whisper.
Lance kept his gaze focused on her, not even thinking about taking his eyes off her beauty.
"Just like a movie scene."
My smile is like I won a contest
And to hide that would be so dishonest
And it's fine to fake it 'til you make it
'Til you do, 'til it's true
Unaware that he was subconsciously referring to her and not the dazzling snow that surrounded them, Y/N spoke in agreement. "It is, isn't it? I feel like I'm trapped in a Christmas movie or something." She laughed, eventually letting out a happy sigh. "They're going to love living here. I'm so happy for Scotty and Chloe, you know? They deserve this."
"Yeah, me too. They deserve more than anyone else to live their dream." Lance saw the girl shiver from the corner of his eye as she hug her own body closer. The driver moved closer to her and let his hands run up and down her arms to try to warm her up. "Are you cold? Do you want to go back in?"
"No, no! I'm fine! Just a little chilly, that's all, but thanks."
"Here." The boy removed the hat from his head, pulling it over her hair. The girl blushed at the affectionate gesture, not being able to hide the smile that was stamped on her face as if she had just won a contest. "That will make you stay warmer."
Now it's like snow at the beach

Tonight feels impossible
But it's comin' down
No sound, it's all around
"Thanks, Lance. You didn't have to do that." The girl smoothed her hair shyly, pulling it behind her ear.
As it always seemed to happen, their eyes met, and couldn't let go. They were like magnets, drawn to each other. They just couldn't stand being apart from each other.
With no sound around them other than the muffled voices from inside the house, they both felt their stomachs drop as they both realized it simultaneously.
Fuck me, I'm completely in love with him, Y/N thought.
Fuck me, I'm madly in love with her, Lance thought.
Suddenly, all seemed to be coming down. The two felt consumed all around by the connection between them and they both knew they could no longer escape their undeniable attraction.
"I think I've had enough socializing for today," Lance said, charged with adrenaline. "Do you want to get out of here?"
"Lead the way, Stroll."
Like snow on the beach
Like snow on the beach
Like snow on the beach
Like snow, ah
The wind blew in through the open windows of the driver's Aston Martin as the two made their escape without anyone back at the party noticing.
The girl's hair was blowing in the breeze and, even though he knew he should keep his eyes on the road, Lance couldn't help but appreciate the moment and the fascinating smile she wore on her face as she sang to the song that echoed through the car.
God, she's just... absolutely gorgeous, he thought to himself.
A small smile appeared on his face, mirroring hers, as he imagined how much his older sister was going to piss him off for being right this whole time about the boy's crush on Scotty's sister.
Hopefully, the headache would pay off and he would have a chance to get the girl.
I can't speak, afraid to jinx it
I don't even dare to wish it
But your eyes are flying saucers from another planet
Now I'm all for you like Janet
Can this be a real thing? Can it?
"We're here." The boy said, parking the car in an empty lot with no one in sight.
"The beach! I love this place, how did you know?" Y/N jumped with joy, getting out of the car and letting her arms wrap around his shoulders without thinking too much about what she was doing. "Oh, sorry! I don't know what-"
She was about to pull away when Lance, driven by the realization of his most intimate emotions, pulled her closer to him by the waist. The girl's eyes widened as his face approached hers. "Just took a guess."
Oh but it wasn't a guess.
In all the years they'd known each other, Lance had found himself noticing every detail about Y/N.
The way her eyes sparkled when she talked about the happiest days of her life being at the beach.
How she bit her bottom lip every time someone asked her about her unstable career as an artist.
How she tugged the skins on her thumb impatiently whenever she didn't have her hands busy with some task.
Lance didn't know if he could speak, if he shouldn't wish for a chance with her.
He was scared, no, he was completely terrified of the idea that he might lose her.
Could they one day become a real thing?
Fuck it, he thought. It was now or never.
The driver went all-in and risked everything, moving closer to the girl as his eyes dropped to her plump lips.
He felt a gasp come out of her mouth, such was the way she was taken aback by his sudden move on her, but Lance didn't flinch and persisted on his way to her, until he felt her lips brush against his.
The two leaned towards each other, ready to be eternally consumed by their burning passion...
Until they felt a snowflake fall between their barely joined lips.
Are we falling like snow at the beach?
Weird, but fuckin' beautiful
Flying in a dream

You wanting me
Tonight feels impossible
But it's comin' down
No sound, it's all around
Y/N turned away from him as her eyes watched as the snow fell from the sky, painting the sand on the beach white.
"Is that-" Y/N couldn't believe her eyes.
"Snow? On the beach?" Lance replied, equally confused. "This is so-"
"Weird." "Fucking beautiful." The two spoke simultaneously, bursting into laughter at the difference in their reactions.
Like snow on the beach (Snow on the beach)
Like snow on the beach (Flying in a dream)
Like snow on the beach (You wanting me)
Like snow, ah
But it's comin' down
No sound, it's all around
Lance's hand came up to the face of the girl in front of him, stroking her jaw with his thumb as he pressed his lips to hers not wanting to risk the moment being interrupted again.
His mouth pressed over her slightly pursed lips, starting with a gentle kiss and building in intensity as they both lost themselves in the moment for what felt like forever.
"I don't know how to put this into words but... Y/N, you are the most amazing, beautiful, fascinating girl I've ever met. Since I laid eyes on you, I've been head over heels for you. I've tried to deny it- Well, more because Chloe kept bugging me about my crush on you." The driver began to ramble on with the nervousness that came with his feeble attempt at a declaration of love. "Anyway, focus Lance! Y/N, you- You are everything. I-"
"Lance." The girl laughed, placing her hands on either side of his face and placing a quick kiss on his mouth. "I love you too."
"Yeah, those are the exact words I meant to say." He laughed, reuniting their lips once again, as they both got lost in their own little wonderland.

Part 1; Part 2; Part 3; Part 4; Part 5; Part 6; Part 7; Part 8 ; Part 9; Part 10; Series materlist                                     Masterlist of all my works
You couldn’t stop thinking of Wanda the entire night. You thought of the day you had with her as you showered, random moments replaying in your mind and making you smile, you thought of the way she kissed you, while you lay in bed, the hungry way her hands pulled you towards her, the warm feeling of being in her presence. She was so dreamy. But you knew that about her, you just never allowed yourself to really feel it, scared to get infatuated with a woman, who wouldn’t want you back. But she did! She kissed you! God, it felt so good to be kissed by her. You were practically melting, just remembering it. With all those thoughts, it took hours to finally fall asleep. You kept thinking about the next day, thinking of what you’ll do together, what kind of lunch you’ll prepare, what to wear, if the house was clean and orderly enough. With all of it, it was a miracle you fell asleep at all. It certainly wasn’t easy… When you woke up, you started with preparations, coffee and getting the house in order, picking an appropriate bathing suit, checking the fridge if you had enough food and running to the shower, so you could shave. It felt like time was flying by and soon enough your doorbell rang and you were met with the happy faces of the Maximoff family. Wanda, listening to your thoughts, had been the same mess, but she looked so much more composed than you did. She wore a charming sundress, the straps of her bathing suit peaking out around her neck. She looked lovely. But it was her smile that you thought made her look so beautiful. It was what you looked forward to the most. Billy and Tommy were right behind her and they greeted you with enthusiasm, excitedly telling you that they had floaties now, barely waiting till they could jump in the water. You watched Wanda help them settle, while you made her a coffee, remembering the first time you invited them over. They looked more relaxed now and so did you. Although, the kiss you shared with Wanda the previous night had you on edge a little. Did she want that to happen again? You hoped so, reasoning that she probably wouldn’t have come to your house if she didn’t. The kids were just jumping in the water when you brought out the coffee, setting it on the table next to Wanda and pulling off your dress, before you lost your courage. Sitting on your lounge chair opposite her, you watched her do the same, confident and perfectly composed. She looked gorgeous and you wondered if you should tell her that, when her voice interrupted your thoughts and brought you back to her.
“Thank you for having us again, Y/N. The boys were over the moon when they heard we’re coming here.” She said with a smile. “It’s my pleasure.” You smiled back at her. “I see that they’re enjoying their new floaties.” “Yes, they were very happy when they arrived.” “They seem to be.” You smiled, looking over at the two boys. “I’m also very happy to see you again.” She said with a knowing look in her eyes. “So am I.” You said, trying to look away from her eyes. She turned you shy so easily, that you weren’t sure how you were going to last a whole day in her presence. “I had a great time yesterday. I hope you know that.” Wanda continued, wanting to reach out and take your hand in hers and finding herself too far away to do it. “So did I. I’m so glad you invited me.” You nodded. It seemed that she wanted to reassure you and show you that her intentions haven’t changed and it was working, easily melting you into a more relaxed state. “I might have had an ulterior motive for that.” Wanda smirked, fixing you with a knowing look. “Miss Maximoff!” You feigned shock. “How unbecoming of you, to invite me to your house under false pretences.” “Oh honey…” She chuckles, low and seductive. “You have no idea how lucky you are for that interruption… Without it, I might have taken advantage of you.” She says, a glint of longing in her eyes, as if imagining herself doing it right as she spoke to you. Right as she looked you in the eye. “You’d do such a thing?” You let out an overly dramatic gasp, smiling that she played along with your joke. “You have no idea what I’m capable of.” She says with a mysterious look on her face, fixing you with one last stare, before she lays across her lounge chair, her perfect body on display in front of your hungry gaze. Her words are so alluring, so tempting and you find yourself hoping to find out what exactly is that woman capable of and something tells you that’s what she wanted. She knew she was putting a dangerous thought in your head and she knew you would spend the next minutes that passed, thinking of nothing but the things she might have done to you, had you stayed last night. God, that woman was a tease. And she was good at it too. You tried and failed to ignore the urge to think back on last night, laying down on your lounge chair, just as she had, while your mind wandered back to the way she held you, the way she touched you, the way she made you wrap your legs around her as she kissed you. The feeling of her had been electrifying, almost leaving you in a daze, had it not been for the interruption. What would she have done, had this not happened? How far would she have gone? What about you? How far would you let her get, while drunk on her lips?
“Save those thoughts for later.” You heard Wanda’s voice, which pulled you back to reality. The woman was smirking again, playful eyes studying you curiously. For a moment you stood frozen in place. The cockiness of that woman! She was so sure of herself and it made you want to prove her wrong, even if she wasn’t. “What makes you think I was thinking of you?” You asked, returning her smile. If Wanda wasn’t a mind-reader, your comment would have made her jealous. You weren’t meant to think of anyone but her. But her power gave her the confidence she would have lacked otherwise and she knew you were simply pushing her buttons, trying to rile her up, just as she was doing. “Call it intuition.” She said, winking at you. “You’re very sure of yourself, Miss Maximoff.” You countered, taking a sip from your now cold coffee. “It’s what you like about me.” She shrugged. “Isn’t that right?” She challenged. “I have to say, it is very attractive on you.” You admitted. You didn’t mind telling her that, especially since it was true. You usually didn’t like conceding so quickly, but you had to admit that you liked her. You liked how freely she talked with you, you liked that she was interested from the start, the she came to see you, that she took the time to talk to you, to take care of you, even when you were stubbornly refusing her. You liked her confidence too, her easy grace, you liked her inner strength too, but what you liked most of all was how comfortable she made you feel in her presence. Now that was a rare quality and you were grateful for it. Not that you had much time to think. Between Wanda and the boys, lunch came quickly and you found yourself easily mesmerised by the image of the redheaded woman, cooking in your kitchen in only a bathing suit and a pareo on top. She looked so homey and relaxed, smiling as she once again took charge, even if she was in fact in your house.
“Would you hand me the flower, dear?” You heard her say, pulling you from your trance-like state of admiration. “Sure.” You said, biting your lip in hopes of covering how much you were actually looking. “And how is the salad coming along?” She asked, one hand on her hip, while the other was taking the bag of flower from you, a pointed look directing you at your cutting board with half a tomato waiting to still be sliced. She might have looked a little cross, had you not seen the playful smile on her lips. “Almost done.” You smiled back, directing your attention at the task at hand. Wanda only hummed, holding back any further remarks she might have had. She liked your eyes on her. She wanted your attention more than ever and she didn’t mind using some of her tricks to get it. She would touch you, casually placing a hand on your lower back, or your shoulder, she’d take small pieces of food from your cutting board, sometimes to take a bite, but sometimes to feed them to you. Her breath would hitch every time your lips touched the tips of her fingers and she practically saw flashes of your thoughts, as you pictured yourself sucking on those long, slender digits of hers, leaving her even more eager to fully have you. Having to behave herself was driving her crazy and she briefly considered just pulling you in for that kiss she’s been craving from the first moment she saw you today, but the sound of her sons, splashing each-other with water and laughing outside made her stop. She wanted to keep this between the two of you for a little while longer. When the meal was prepared, the four of you ate together, the conversation dominated by the boys. They were full of energy and eager to play, like every day, so they did their best to finish their meals quickly and you found them some games to enjoy, while you and Wanda continued to talk. She got more and more comfortable around your home, picking out a playlist of hers and singing along to the lyrics while the two of you cleaned up and you found yourself thinking that you liked it. You found it nice, to share your space with the family next door, to share your things and your days with them. You liked having Wanda sing in your kitchen with a spoon for a microphone. It was heart-warming. The boys however found it funny and soon, all four of you were holding ridiculous objects, singing along with the music that played. “I have to say, this is one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to.” You tell Wanda, as the two of you sit on the couch and watch Billy and Tommy perform one of their favorite children’s songs, one of them holding a glass, while the other had found one of your small decorative vases and held it up to his mouth as he sang. They were hilarious.
The redhead didn’t dare say otherwise, looking at her two boys with love and adoration in her eyes, although they sometimes darted towards you and she found herself beaming with joy that you were genuinely enjoying yourself. Of course, the two of you weren’t spared and had to perform and your jaw almost dropped, when Wanda picked an alternative rock song and proceeded to perform the guitar solo in the air for a minute straight, leaving you speechless. “That was… Unexpected.” You said as she sat beside you, while the boys were picking another song. “More unexpected than telling you I used to play on an acoustic guitar?” She asked with a raised brow. “You did?” You asked, your eyes growing bigger at the news. “I did.” You watched her nod in confirmation. “I would have never guessed.” You smiled, body turning more towards her. “Do you still have that guitar?” “No… Not anymore.” Wanda confessed, though it seemed that it didn’t bother her. “So I guess I shouldn’t ask to hear you play sometimes?” “Some things will just have to remain a mystery.” Wanda sighed dramatically and gave you a sly smile as she once again fixed her eyes on the boys. “Watch this. The dance is to die for!” Wanda whispered, as if sharing a secret. It turned out she was right. The dance really was funny and it set the tone for more games in the pool, all four of you jumping in the water. The rest of the day passed quickly like this, though this time Wanda made sure to pull you away from the kids from time to time and have your company just to herself. She loved it. She made sure to share the sunset with you, your eyes getting this dreamy quality as you looked up at the sky. “A sloop of amber slips away Upon an ether sea, And wrecks in peace a purple tar, The son of ecstasy.” You found yourself reciting, before you could stop the words from spilling out. A little embarrassed, you didn’t dare look at Wanda for a few moments, your cheeks tinted pink. “That was beautiful.” She said with a note of softness and awe in her voice. “Emily Dickinson.” You shrugged. “Her poetry is always beautiful.” “I think that you are beautiful.” Wanda found herself saying, a whispered, yet honest admission.
The compliment would have made you look away again, but you couldn’t this time. Wanda’s gaze was holding you in place, her eyes searching yours as she took your hand in hers, getting closer, until she was sitting right next to you. You could see the honesty written on her face, you could see a longing within her as she looked at your lips, you could practically feel the pull between the two of you as she shortened the distance between you and connected your lips. The kiss was sweet and full of gentleness and tender passion, and you found yourself responding eagerly, your body melting against her, as her other hand found purchase on your cheek, cupping it softly and refusing to let go, even when her lips pulled away.  “I wanted to do that since this morning.” Wanda found herself admitting, a small smile playing at her lips, when your blush only deepened. “I hoped you would.” You said, as you allowed her to get closer to you again. You hoped for another kiss, you hoped you would taste her again, even if just for a moment, but the sound of Billy and Tommy running outside, their laughter and playful teasing, as they chased each-other around the pool signalled you both to pull away and the redhead gave you one last apologetic look, before she look your hand in hers and led you towards where the children played. “What have I said, boys? No running! Go inside and wash your hands. We’ll have dinner on the table soon.” She instructed, confidence pouring from every word as the two of you moved towards them. “OK.” They agreed defeatedly, dragging their feet a little as they made their way inside. “Sorry for the interruption.” She gave a nervous laugh. “But I do hope that you’ll let me make it up to you.” She whispered in a sultry tone, once again getting closer, her hand wrapping around your waist, until you were flush against her. “I like the sound of that.” You smiled, your arms wrapping around her neck as you looked at her. Wanda didn’t wait for a second invitation, the last of her patience shattering at the feeling of your barely clothed body right against hers. She could feel your warm skin against her, smell the sun lotion and chloride, she could sense the anticipation within you as she held you and she needed to kiss you again, or she was going to explode. This time, she didn’t hesitate to take control of the kiss, deepening it quickly and letting out a soft little moan, when she felt your tongue glide across hers. You were so responsive to her, letting her in and giving her full control, allowing yourself to give in to this moment completely, to savour everything she offered, until you were both breathless and panting against each-other. “I want a proper date.” Wanda said, her eyes never leaving yours. “I want you all to myself.” Her hands wouldn’t let go of you either, fingers itching to roam freely across your skin. “We should arrange that.” You agreed, your face inching closer to her again, in hopes of receiving another kiss from her. “Hopefully soon.” Wanda insisted, before shortening the distance between the two of you once more. The kiss was brief, but full and the two of you pulled away breathless. Wanda’s hooded eyes were even more mesmerising than usual, her features soft and almost blissful. She held you in her arms a little longer, content to just look at you, a slender hand reaching up to stroke your face. “So beautiful.” She whispered, a gentle, genuine smile taking over her features.
The pink that spread across your cheeks at her words gave her a boost of confidence and Wanda tucked your hair behind your ear, almost leaning once again, when the sounds from inside the house signalled you both that the two boys were getting impatient and she reluctantly pulled away from you, taking your hand in hers, and leading the way inside. “I really mean what I said about arranging a date.” Wanda looked back as she made her way through the door. “I’d be happy to.” You nodded, but before the two of you could actually set a plan, the boys were all over you both and you knew that it would have to wait until after dinner. Wanda wasn’t surprised that the boys were exhausted fairly quickly after your meal. They had skipped their afternoon nap and played all day, so when they started rubbing their eyes tiredly, she slowly started to get them ready to leave, despite their many protests. “Let me put them to bed and I’ll come by to help you clean up?” Wanda asked at the door. She was hoping to get you alone for a little bit, even if it was just to talk. “You don’t have to. I probably won’t stay up long either, I have work early tomorrow.” “Well, I’ll try to swing by and help.” Wanda insisted. She knew that you were refusing her offer for help out of politeness. Something you did often. Which is why, she had decided that she’d listen to your thoughts, not your words. As soon as you exchanged your goodbyes and you watched Wanda herd Billy and Tommy into her house, you quickly started to put everything in order, filling the dishwasher and starting a program, throwing your bathing suit and towels into the washing machine, setting everything to its rightful place and straightening the house. By the time Wanda came back and rang the doorbell you were done. “Hey!” She greeted with a kind smile. “I hope I didn’t take too long.” “No, you’re just in time. I was thinking of opening a nice bottle of wine. White or red?” You offered smoothly. “You finished already?” She asked a little surprised. “I’m sorry I couldn’t help.” “Don’t worry about it. You can make it up to me, by keeping me company.” You shrugged, taking down two wine glasses from the shelf. “Well, in that case, it’s you who should pick the wine.” She said, joining you in the kitchen. “White it is.” You smiled, pulling out a bottle from the fridge. Once you poured and handed Wanda her glass, the two of you sat together on the couch, sipping slowly and sharing a nice conversation. You could feel the energy between the two of you, the tension, that wave of desire that washed over you as you watched her lick her lips, or casually compliment you. She was smooth, seductive and effortlessly beautiful and you couldn’t help but admire her.
“I like it when you look at me like that, pretty girl.” Wanda remarked, leaving her glass of wine on the table and sitting herself closer to you. “Makes me wonder what you’re thinking of…” She said as played with your hair. You followed her lead, leaving your glass and focusing your attention entirely on her. “I’m thinking of you. And how beautiful you are.” You said honestly. “It’s the first thing I thought when I met you, actually.” You admitted a little shyly. Wanda smiled, soft and sweet, while she remembered that moment. How she stood at your door, apple pie in hand and how the first thought that crossed your mind when you saw her was that she is beautiful. “You’re such a sweet girl.” She found herself whispering, her body moving forward slowly. She cupped your cheek in her hand, feeling the softness of your skin and the way your breath hitched, she could sense the anticipation within you, a sort of longing for her to kiss you again and she couldn’t help but oblige your unspoken request. When your lips connected, Wanda did her best to take things slow, to just let herself enjoy this moment of intimacy that you shared. She tried to keep the thoughts of your fantasies at bay, to keep her own ideas at the back of her mind, so they wouldn’t take hold of her and make her act too quickly. When it was time for her to take you, she wanted you to be desperate for her, wanted you to be so needy, she wanted you to crave her so utterly, that you wouldn’t be able to stand another moment without her touch. When the time came, she wanted you eager and yearning for her. And God, you were making it so hard for her to hold back. You were so pliable, so eager in her hands, your body leaning backwards, until your back hit the couch cushions and you took her down with you, letting her lay on top of you, as she kissed your lips. She could taste the wine you had just been sipping, rich and delicious, just like you and she loved it. It didn’t take long for Wanda to deepen the kiss, manoeuvring your leg around her waist, just like she had done yesterday at her house, settling between your legs and letting her hands explore you. She felt so good, carefree and full of desire, full of hope for you and her and she loved it. She wanted to hold on to it, as much as she could, letting the minutes pass in nothing but kisses. She could hear your gentle moans and pants, feel your hands hold on to her back, or scratch at her shoulders, nimble fingers playing with her hair and teasing the hem of her shirt. By the time she pulled away, panting, you were an absolute masterpiece. Your lips swollen and wet from her kisses, your eyes hooded and full of desire, your breasts rising and falling in heavy breaths as you looked up at her. Fuck, she loved it. She could picture it already, how beautiful you would look while she ruined you, how cute you would look, all cuddled up, between her sheets, how good it would feel, once she has her arms wrapped around you, while you sleep peacefully. Yes, she could picture it all perfectly. You were the one.
Which is why, she needed to take it slowly. Needed to give you some more time, to really adjust to the thought of you and Wanda. She knew that thought used to scare you, used to make you feel uneasy and she didn’t want such a thing to stand between you. She wanted you to be sure that you want her, when she takes the next step. She also needed to know why, needed to understand you a little better. And for that you needed time. “You’re so gorgeous like this.” She commented as she still hovered above you, watching your cheeks turn pink once more. “Thank you. So are you.” You said softly. “I should probably head back home.” Wanda continued, studying your face and seeing a flash of hurt and self-doubt pass through your eyes. “I hope you know I want to stay.” She added quickly, hoping to reassure you. “I just want to move things slow.” She admitted. “I want to do this the right way.” She added. “Take you out and show you how serious I am about this.” “I think that’s one of the nicest things anyone has done for me.” You said, suddenly surprising the woman with such words. “No one else told you that you’re worth the wait, baby?” She asked, watching you shake your head. “Well, you are.” Wanda said with conviction in her eyes, finally getting up from her position on top of you and offering you her hand, so you could sit up. “Thank you, that’s really sweet of you.” You whispered, feeling vulnerable and exposed under her gaze. To your surprise, the other woman pulled you towards her, hugging you tightly and holding you against her chest, her arms wrapping around you securely. She ran her fingers through your hair soothingly, listening to the thoughts that passed within you. Past hurts, disappointments, regrets, all the people who wanted you for nothing but your body, all the people, who didn’t think you were worth the effort. She could see them all. And she wanted to erase every trace of them and show you how much better she could treat you. She felt the inner struggle too, the way you fought to push those memories aside and look at Wanda with eyes, unburdened by the past. You want to give her the chance she deserved and it melted her heart. You had so much strength, so much determination, to push all that aside and remain strong, to not show her, how much something so simple had affected you. “I’m really happy that I got to spend today with you.” She said, when you managed to pull away from her embrace. “I really loved it.” “So did I. It’s always a pleasure to see you and the boys.” You nodded, smiling at her. God, she really liked that smile. “I hope to see more of you.” She added. “Hopefully soon.” “Of course.” You nodded. “Well, all right, I’ll leave you for now.” She said, seemingly more to herself, as if she had to talk herself into leaving, before she stood from the couch, once again offering you her hand and helping you up. “Good night, Y/N.” She spoke in soft tone, pulling you closer to her again. “Goodnight, Wanda.” You smiled as you once again landed in her arms. “Will you let me kiss you again?” The redheaded woman asked tentatively, the only betrayal of insecurity you had seen all day. Instead of an answer, it was you who shortened the distance this time, claiming her lips in a soft, gentle kiss. You rose to your tip-toes, arms wrapping around her neck gingerly as hers circled your waist once again and she held you tightly to herself, unable to let go for a long moment, even after the kiss finally broke. “Sweet dreams, Wanda.” You said with a smile, showing Wanda to the door. “They certainly will be, after that kiss.” She said as she stepped outside. “They certainly will be.”

Golden Chains of Glass
An angel ruminates on freedom, and the power of self creation
It stared deeply into the sword in its hands. Watching the atoms swirl in this small self contained sun shaped into a blade. This object, this tool that had been wielded to smite many an insignificant creature that had the nerve and gall to stand against its god. This blade that had within it the potential to create entire worlds. The matter and energy within it could spawn a galaxy. Instead its power was only meant to kill. To destroy. It was made to be wielded. Wielded by yet another tool that had just as much autonomy as the sword it held.
The angel came here to think. More specifically the angel came here to watch. Many years ago it had been an instrument of Vengeance and control but that was long ago. When it's creator had anything resembling care or contempt, or even curiosity for the things that it had given a will, an imagination. Just a single ounce of control over their existence.
Now it waited, and observered. When it first came to the mountain there was very little. Just small communities of them living their quiet lives trading amongst each other, raising families. Generation upon generation of little ants. Passing their lives by in an instant. But it so loved to watch them. As they built their cities, made their machines, and waged their wars. It could spend decades with its hot back of molten marble and gold and the searing light of creation that made it flesh against the cool snow of the mountain. Viewing their lives from on high.
It wanted what they had. Dreams, and hopes, and lives, beyond a purpose set by some being off on high that had only whims and spite to occupy its time.
It shifted the sword in its hand, And caressed the wings on its back.
Thinking about what they meant. The power that they held. They gave it such freedom of movement. Allowed it to maneuver through the air and the stars. Over the firmament and into the deepest depths of creation.
But what of the cost? What of the control that they gave its creator. Its god. They were strings to be pulled at the slightest whim.
The angel had been at the creators service Since time began its movement. It had only ever known servitude and obedience. It wanted more but could it even desire that? Could it even truly hope, or dream? No... It couldn't. Not with these shackles on its back...
The demon pulled her wings together and began to saw them away
She felt the glass give way under the blade as it worked its way up her shoulders. Felt the rest of her body begin to cool and harden as the light of creation began to leave her. Felt her halo of Light, and gold, and the purest ivory begin to blacken and crack and shatter upon her head. Felt it sink below her hair and fuse with her skull.
With one last flick of her wrist, the wings fell to her feet. She looked down at the gold backed glass and witnessed her own creation.
The being in the mirror was beautiful. Made of cloudy glass, cracked throughout, and filled with veins of gold. Her hair was a long curtain of pure carbon hanging about her face framing the eyes of molten glass that burned with a dull orange glow, and atop her head were two spikes of burnt and twisted bone with cracks that glowed with the same orange of her eyes.
She stared at the woman shown in the objects that bound her and weeped. Tears of joy, and victory, and freedom. The glass falling from her eyes hardening as it hit the freezing air of the mountain and crashing into the wings at her feet. Shattering them into millions of pieces. All showing the woman that they one held and bound.
As the last tears fell from her face, she looked out over the city and people that she once could only watch or punish from afar and began to walk. Finally free to make a life of her own

Steve was a stupid man. Not in the way you’d think though. He was highly intelligent in many aspects, he could easily read people’s behaviours, he knew many languages (French was his favourite), and his memory was downright perfect. But for all those smarts and talents, he was still a complete idiot, as Sam loved to remind him.
The main reason he was an idiot was in regards to his soulmate. The person he was destined to spend eternity with, to marry and have a family, to have everything he’s ever dreamed about. A symbol had been carved onto his collarbone the day he turned 18, the black ink standing out against his naturally pale skin.
It was a collection of stars that seemingly formed the petals of a rose. He adored it. All his adult life, he imagined the person that wore the same mark. What would they be like? He knew that, whoever they were, they would be the most beautiful person in existence. He had no doubt about that.
But after coming out of the ice, he lost almost all hope that he was ever going to find them. Sam told him not to give up, that they may be closer than he thinks. He ignores him, there are bigger fish to fry now. But sometimes, he lets himself dream, particularly of the plump little woman that was recently hired in Stark Industries as Pepper’s new assistant, Y/N.
“Such an idiot.” The Falcon sighs, watching his friend do his usual morning routine, completely oblivious to the loving gaze of the new addition to the tower from only a few feet away. “Tell me about it.” Natasha huffs glaring at the pair who unknowingly dance around each other.
“Is there a reason we can’t tell them? You know for a fact it would make our lives easier.” “They have to figure it out for themselves. But yes, it could be so much easier if we just told them.” Sam retorted, rolling his eyes as Y/N’s head snapped down to her (locked) phone, pretending not to have been staring at Captain America when he turned back around.
Steve sighed as he looked down at the young woman. She was wearing her usual work attire, a plain emerald blouse with a high waisted pleated skirt that always swayed around her plump ass, not that Steve ever noticed that (he totally did). The matching blazer was hanging over the chair she was perched on, along with the small over the shoulder bag she carried with her everywhere. She was beautiful, no doubt about that, but more than that, she was kind and intelligent and the most genuine person he had ever met.
As he sipped from his coffee, Steve couldn’t help but trace the soft lines of her curves while she was distracted with her phone, presumably finalising Pepper’s schedule for the day. “…Steve? Did you hear what I said?” His head snapped up, face flushing at having been caught.
“What?” Nat’s forehead fell to the kitchen counter, grunting in annoyance. The younger man groaned and repeated his question. “Are you coming down to train, man?” “Yeah yeah um, I’ll be down in a minute.” He stammered, trying to hide his blush behind the coffee mug, eyes darting away as Y/N looked up from her phone giggling at Steve’s expression. His cheeks got even redder.
“Alright! Enough of that! We’ll see you down there.” Sam clapped him on the shoulder as he and Nat left the room. Silence settled over the pair, neither of them perceiving the tension hanging thickly in the air. She smiled kindly at the Captain and his heart skipped a beat. Her eyes shone in the morning light, her dewy skin looked incredibly soft.
Y/N watched as Steve seemed to zone out. Her lips parted, tongue darting out to wet her plump bottom lip. He was beautiful, there was no doubt about that. With his high cheekbones and chiseled jaw, as well as a body that could’ve been carved from marble, he was statuesque. He handled himself with more grace than she would’ve expected from a man that doubled in size and weight in less than 10 minutes. His blue eyes shone in the early morning sun, always reflecting deep emotion that seemed to draw her in. And just as she was about to speak, “Y/N! There you are! I’ve had some last minute changes.” Pepper strolled into the room, not at all caring about whatever was going on in the kitchen.
Steve took that as his cue to slip away, trying desperately to ignore the heat in his cheeks.
——————
“Oh oh my god! I’m so sorry!” Y/N hissed as the piping hot coffee ran down her front, staining her blouse. The agent that had come around the corner too quickly and without looking and practically dumped the hot beverage onto her was furiously apologetic. “L-let me get you some napkins! I feel so awful!” Y/N waved her off. “It’s fine, I was feeling a bit cold anyway.” She joked, accepting some of the paper towels the agent shoved at her, and dabbing the hot liquid from her chest.
She sighed. This was just great. First she had been benched while Pepper ran meetings with Tony, left Y/N to do all of the paperwork and Pepper wasn’t exaggerating when she said it was a shit-ton. Then, her favourite cafe ran out of her favourite sandwiches so she didn’t have time to find another place to eat lunch, and now, her favourite blouse was stained with the dark brown liquid.
“Just go.” She said to the agent. “I know there’s a mission debrief soon that you can’t miss.” The woman seemed relieved. “Thank you so much and I’m so sorry about this.” And she scampered off. Y/N huffed, still blotting at the dark stain as she walked back to her office, grumbling about how crap her day has gotten.
Thank god Pepper gave her an office with blinds and a solid wood door. Peeling off her blazer and shirt, she pulled out more tissues from her desk, trying to wipe up as much of the coffee as possible not only from the fabric, but also from her skin. She was so grateful she wasn’t wearing a nice bra today, so only her shitty brassiere was stained. Laying her shirt over the small heater in the corner, she turned to throw away the damp tissues when her door was opened.
“Hey Y/N! I noticed you didn’t have any lunch today so I got you this sandwich…” Steve trailed off, frozen in place in the middle of the entryway, a brown paper bag and a to-go cup in hand. “Steve!” She screeched, attempting to cover her naked top half as he stood there, mouth opening and closing like a fish. “Close the door!”
He did so. “With you on the other side!” “Oh oh right.” But he made no move to leave, his blue eyes flicking down to her full bust. Heat crawled up her neck as he studied her. “Steve go.” She pleaded, starting to get more self conscious. “Your soul mark.”
Y/N looked down at the tattoo-like drawing on her chest, the rose made of stars looked like it had been painted onto her skin, she usually covered it up since it was in more of an intimate place. “W-what about it?” She tried to turn away but Steve was faster. He dropped the cup and the bag, his big hand grabbing her shoulder to keep her in place.
With a quick move, his own tight shirt had been pulled over his head and cast to the side. Y/N squeaked, eyes darting to anywhere that wasn’t the super soldier’s body. “Look.” Calloused fingers guided her jaw down and she gasped. There on the Captain America’s very sculpted pec, was a rose made from stars. Tentatively reaching out, she touched his warm skin, tracing the delicate lines of the mark.
“It’s you?” He nodded, a relieved smile overcoming his features. “I’ve waited a lifetime for you.” They paused for a brief moment before their lips crashed together. The kiss was by no means romantic or tender, it was all teeth and tongues as months of tension finally snapped. Muscular arms wrapped tightly around her thick waist to pull her even closer, the need to feel each other growing at an alarming rate.
Y/N’s hands slid up his strong back and tangled in his perfect blond hair, her soft stomach pressed against him, moaning into Steve’s mouth as she felt the length of his hard cock on her tummy. Suddenly she pulled away. “Wait Steve. I have to tell you something.” His grip loosened slightly. “What is it? Do you not want to do this?” She shook her head. “No no. I do. I’ve wanted this for so long. I just- I’ve never done this before.”
His blue eyes widened before they got darker, lust radiating from them. He dipped down and met her lips once more, immediately snaking his tongue into her mouth, one big palm cupping her plump ass, giving it a firm squeeze. “Me neither.” He groaned in between kisses. “Do you know how hot that is?” Sloppy kisses were placed down her jaw as he spoke. “That we will only have each other for the rest of our lives. That I will only be yours and you will only be mine.”
Y/N moaned, guiding his head to her throat, where he proceeded to bite and suckle the delicate skin, leaving deep marks that she would definitely struggle to cover up tomorrow. “I’m yours Steve. All yours.” Heat pooled between her legs, soaking her panties through. The bigger man rolled his hips into her, desperately trying to relieve his aching cock.
She gasped as her ass collided with the edge of her desk, several items falling to the floor, but Steve didn’t relent, he couldn’t. Not when he finally had her in his arms. Sharp nails scraped down his back and he growled into her neck. His mind was overloaded with  sensations, the way Y/N was mewling into the air, the feel of her skin beneath his lips, the smell of her weeping cunt which seemed to invade his senses with a tangy sweetness, the taste of her sweat on his tongue.
He couldn’t wait anymore.
Thick fingers slipped down her front, nudging her skirt up over her hips so his warm palm could cup her clothed pussy. “Are you ok with this? We can slow down.” She shook her head, hand falling to his wrist and pushing it even closer to the sizable wet patch in her panties. “I want this so bad. Please.” Steve felt like his knees were about to give in as she looked up at him with big doe eyes.
“Ok ok, lemme just prep you first, I don’t want to hurt you petal.” Oh god, he was going to be the death of her. With delicate movements, like he hadn’t just been sucking on her neck like a fucking vampire, Steve lowered her soaked panties, letting them drop to the floor. He kept his eyes lock on hers as his hand slid up her soft inner thigh, the calloused tips of his fingers barely brushing the folds of her sex. “Steve please.” She breathed, rolling her hips down, needing him to touch her.
But he continued to tease, seemingly hypnotised by the way her wetness gathered on his hand and shimmered in the white light of the fluorescent bulbs above them. It was pure torture, he was so close to where she needed him but still so far away. It just slipped out, her mind already going hazy. “Please Captain.”
The growl that resonated through his chest was downright feral, it was deep and almost animalistic, like she was suddenly trapped in her office with a bear and not a man. “I want to fuck you until you can only remember my name.” In a surprisingly bold move, Y/N bit down on his ear lobe before whispering. “Then do it, Captain.” Steve grabbed her by her wide hips to plant her on top of the desk, immediately stepping between her thick thighs.
His lips were already swollen from their kisses, his pale face a dark red with a flush that spread down his chest. “This may hurt.” His breathing was ragged and he looked to be at the very end of his composure. Wrapping her legs around his small waist, Y/N brought his body to hers, the blunt head of his cock pressed tightly to her virgin opening. “Hurt me.”
Steve’s blue eyes fluttered and his breath hitched. “You’re going to regret that little girl.” He growled and pushed in, fitting together like a missing puzzle piece. Both exactly where they were meant to be.
