oh and I have absolutely no idea what's up with Zavorg. ZA-VOO-GU[ザウォーグ] isn't, as best as I can tell, a reference to anything. It's sort of the way Japanese approximates The Vogue, but like, clearly that monster was not supposed to be, Giant Armor Bug Thevogue

The Vogues, Cowboy Dave, Julie Christensen, Fruit Bats, Adam Klein, Arkansauce, and Charlie Parker
The 1960s were a golden era for pop vocal groups, with acts like the Four Seasons, the Association, and the Mamas and Papas riding the charts. All those outfits still garner attention but the Vogues…not so much, probably because they scored fewer major hits. Among the ones they had, however, were…

Olivier Rousteing's Spring '16 Balmain debut wasn't just a runway show, it was an extravaganza. With models like Kendall Jenner, Bella and Gigi Hadid, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Jourdan Dunn creating serious #SquadGoals backstage and on the catwalk, we had a lot more to be envious of than just their sexy outfits.

#Nirvana #KurtCobain #KristNovoselic #DaveFoster #SubPop #RichHansen #TheVogue #TheVogueSeattle #SubPopSunday #Seattle revista #Backlash #BacklashMagazine #DawnAnderson https://www.instagram.com/p/CDEdsbUJUjO/?igshid=19l5npfduxo5h

The Vogues – At Co & Ce – The Complete Singles & More
Though this group of 4 young men wasn’t really a rock band per se back in the 60s they were a “hard rock” answer to The Lettermen. Pennsylvania’s The Vogues with their distinctive vocals & assertive vocalizing style on commercial pop radio had an inspired delivery.
I was 14 years old in 1965 & though I was still impressed with Elvis, the…
