Evren peered down at this curious specimen, arms crossed and head cocked in puzzlement. Considering the fact she was eight feet tall, she had no other choice but to look down. "I've met many different xeno species, and mutants too, but I've not met your type before..."
He peered up at her. “Type?? I’m not a creature you can just study in a science lab.” He huffed. “You don’t know what I am, and let’s keep it that way.”

[@theangelofartillery] After ten millennia, the vanished XIth reappeared - and he looked terrible. His skin was cracked and blistered, hair limp and greasy, eyes glazed, and wings heavily molting. Rust and tainted veins surrounded his electoos. Tiise made a keening whine as he clawed at his temple. "P-please... Brother... D-don't let him take me! I- I don't want to rot!"
@theangelofartillery
Lorgar looked down upon the wretched form of his sibling. His gaze was that of disbelief and suspicion.
“You are not supposed to be here...” he murmured quietly. He had to stop himself from taking a hesitant step back. Tiise was not even supposed to be alive, at this point. One of his lost and forgotten siblings. And yet, here he was.
Alive. Breathing. Begging not to be thrown back to whatever held him prior.
“... don’t let who take you, Tiise?” he asked. His eyes shifted to the various features of his ragged sibling -- the hair, the skin, the eyes, the wings, the veins... everything. Where did he come from?
“What happened to you?” he asked instead.

[Cute Headcanons: thanks to the closeness of their recruitment grounds, a good number of Terran Thousand Sons and Tomb Jackals are related by blood. Captain Renenutet Chokqu and Ahzek Ahriman are distant cousins. Fittingly, she leads Temple Thoth and is leader of the IInd's divination division.]
The Thousand Sons use the term “cousin” with their other Legions, simply because it feels correct, since they are the genechildren of their Primarchs and that would, indeed, make them cousins.
When they refer to the Tomb Jackals, however, the term is used with a double meaning; they are cousins in blood, both bound by right of their transhuman nature and who they were before the surgeries.

07 How easily do they grant forgiveness? How would they go about trying to earn forgiveness if they were in the wrong?
7.) “Honestly? Sometimes I think I forgive almost embarrassingly easily, even for things that maybe shouldn’t be so forgivable. Of course it all depends on the circumstances surrounding my granting of forgiveness, intentionally harming someone I’m close to for instance is practically a death sentence for the offending party/parties, but usually if an excuse sounds reasonable or understandable, I’ll grant forgiveness.”
“Of course I’ve had moments in life where I’ve had to earn it from others. Usually in those cases I like to try and talk to the person about what happened, how my actions hurt them, and what I could possibly do to make amends. Of course, that’s not always the easiest recourse and it can be a rather uncomfortable and ah….awkward situation depending on what I did.”

☣ "A Blood Angel Lord Commander and an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor, in quarantine together? This sounds like the start of a bad comedy holo-vid."
Bad comedy or not, it was what it was. Dante was less than impressed to be stuck in these three rooms with this individual. He had a lot of work to do and none of it was going to get done sitting about here. He had no cause to be rude, and so he wouldn’t be, but there were countless other places he could be. He let out a sigh and pushed stray white hair out of his face. He felt naked without his wargear. He wasn’t of course, he had fatigues and a tunic to cover himself with, but it wasn’t the same. She could see his aged face, the thinning skin and crinkles around his eyes. He’d not been out of the Arx Angelicum without his helmet on for five hundred years. It felt very strange.
“I suppose I shall catch up on my sleep,” he muttered as he looked around. Everything was white, clinical and dull. Even the bath was tiny, something which he was most put out by. “I suppose we should introduce ourselves, my name is Dante,” he said.

The Form Without Form reclined on a throne of iron, hidden eyes watching the storms coruscating above the great transparent dome that exposed this, the latest iteration of his audience chamber, to the Warp surrounding.
The mortal, the assassin Sicarion, stepped over the threshold (which was not really, of course, a threshold, and bowed.) “My Liege,” his voice echoed through the audience chamber, “I have returned from the realm of the Goddess.”
Silence. Sicarion paused and nodded. “She was overjoyed to hear from you, and expressed he extraordinary gratitude for the gift you gave her.”
Silence again. Sicarion began to speak, “She...”
“Gifts.” The voice of the thing mortals sometimes called “Malal” was like a distant rumble of thunder.
Sicarion stammered, “G.. Gifts. As you say.”
“Did you think,” Malal’s voice was a murmur, “that I would not discover the second gift?”
“I did not seek to hide it from you,” Sicarion found his courage, “I do not lie to you, Excellency.”
“No.” The voice paused for a moment, “No, you did not. But I sense you hoped to avoid the subject.”
Sicarion swallowed ever so slightly, “I did.”
The God of Disorder considered. “I do not know precisely why that one spoke to you. But it did. It gave you a gift. I remember that gift now. It was a precious thing for that one. For part of us. An act of trust to give it to my sister. She is debauched from time to time.”
Sicarion was unsure where the next words came from, what well of defiance that they sprang from unbidden, but they came. “She is also sincere when she wishes to be...” Malal growled quietly as Sicarion spoke, but the Zealot went on, “... which is to say, Milord, that she was considerably more approachable than most of the others. I would not describe her as trusting, or naive. But she was as honest as one could expect.”
Malal did not respond to this. Instead, The Faceless turned its eyeless feature back toward the display above. Light from the storms above was not so much reflected by the deity, but absorbed by it. “Was there anything else ?”
“There was, in fact, Excellency.” Sicarion reached into the folds of his cloak and withdrew a small, precious bloom. He beheld it for just a moment, and it shimmered lightly, before dissipating from his hand. He swallowed, nodded, “She said that you would recognize it’s importance.”
No response.
Sicarion sensed that his task had finished, for the moment, and turned to leave. There was a question, but perhaps... perhaps this was not the proper time. He bowed, “I shall take my leave, then.”
No response.
The Zealot crossed the threshold and was gone. In the tumult above, amidst the twisting and roiling of perpetually decaying currents of light and darkness, a new constellation had formed.
It took the form of a certain flower. A bloom from a long dead world. A symbol of alliance. Sisterly affection. Even compassion.
The 1,000 Masks each recognized for what it was. But perhaps the Eleventh Son beheld it for the longest.
Below, a face that was not a face formed into a smile. Not a smirk, not a grimace, not a growl. A smile.
The cacophony that was the mind of Malal formed of silent symphony. A rapturous beauty that would be as ecstatic death were a mortal ear to hear it. The music turned a page to a wandering Inquisitrix. To a legion of ghosts. To gargoyles and cu-sith. To a pair of twins: one who always lied, one who always spoke truth. To a red haired giant on a distant star. To a corpse on a throne. To a black library.
And the servitors arrayed in the darkness, there at the foot of an iron throne, trembled.

Send a 🐈 to give my muse a (little brown) kitten! "Look what I found all on his own! I sniffed around for a mother and there was nothing, so I think someone must've dumped the poor thing... For now I'm calling him 'Catto Sicatius'."
"I do not have time to properly care for pets Evren." Roboute sounds slightly disheartened as he pets the minute thing.

🐈 "I swear I didn't do this on purpose." Evren said, looking sheepishly from the little orange kitten to the large orange felinid.
The tiny kitten had quickly found a bed atop the head of the orange Felinid and now both looked to her, one clearly bemused the other. clearly confused by this surprise gift. “suuuuurrrrrreeeeee you didnt...”

HONESTY 3: Whom do you admire, and why?
“Honestly? As much as’e was a drunk ‘alfwit, with narry a lick of sense to ‘is name, I admire my late father. Wot kind of bravery doz it take ta stand before a demon of the warp, draw your sword, and shout ‘Ave At You’?” The Captain took another inadvisable swig from the bottle of decidedly pricey amasec, the amber liquid slithering up the intake hose of his mask and into his mouth. “Or Stupidity. Still. Twas quite impressive before tha fing back’anded ‘im and he crumpled like a ration tin against the bulkhead.”

"We all eat lies when our hearts are hungry."
[Various Starters]
“And what would these lies be? Hm?” Lorgar asked. He tilted his head a fraction. “Perhaps they are the lies the Emperor told us. The lies that any of us had any sort of true autonomy. The lies of a beautiful and peaceful galaxy with mankind at the fore. Or perhaps you refer to the gods themselves. If you mean to call my faith a lie, you are far from the first to do so, and you will be far from the last. But I’ve already proven myself in that regard.” He snickered lightly.
“Oh, I’ve proven myself hundreds or thousands of times over. But do tell me, because I am curious -- what sort of lies are you referring to, Evren?”

♡ - If your muse were rendered unable to fight, what about them would change? Would they be able to handle it?
If Magnus were rendered unable to fight, it would be something quite drastic for him. It would have to mean that he would entirely lose his psychic powers. As he was created and grew with them, and the fact that they have since been an integral part of himself for practically his entire existence, to say it would be damaging and traumatizing may be a bit of an understatement. No, he would not be able to handle it.
Losing only his physical capacity to fight would be better for him to manage. He would, after all, still have his psychic talents to rely on. So he wouldn’t feel entirely defenseless.

✗ - Has your muse ever been a victim of friendly fire or been betrayed during a fight? How did they react?
“I was a part of a group of mercenaries that felt obligated to leave my ass behind once in order to “distract” some feral Orks that had surprised us on an exploratory foray. Joke was on them though, I got the greenskins to chase me around for a while and eventually managed to lead them back to camp.”
“I mean, ultimately they ended up taking my stuff too when they looted the place but at least a bit of petty revenge had been served.”
