One more thing, I wanted to take some time to talk about Lucy’s redesign. For Luke, Liv, and Bonnie you have probably noticed I have tweaked their looks a bit-while still maintaining some or all similarities. With Lucy I have been playing with the idea to completely redesign her for quite sometime and mainly because her storyline is gonna be way more involved and very different from TVD, which would be a nice distinction to have. I was already planning on implementing more dark skinned characters because that is something I have also always wanted to see more of and others in the discord have expressed that as well and I couldn't help but be motivated by @themist-underground references of Annie-Bertram and Annie’s photo series on instagram https://www.instagram.com/theresafractale/. She captures everything I could have hoped for the character. So to summarize, redesigning Lucy felt like a great opportunity to meaningfully implement and integrate all these sentiments and inspirations. What do you think? Do you like the redesigns?
