- i think you guys wouldve just accidentally kept bumping into each other, whether it be around campus, at some coffee shop, in the library

- it gets so frequent you dont even know if its a coincidence at this point, yet you cant help but hope that you seem him whenever you go out

- after ALWAYS bumping into each other and apologizing before making small talk, armin makes the first move

Newt Scamander. The name brought a flutter to your heart. Your boyfriend of one year, Your one and only. You loved him, From his greenish blue eyes to his scars that ran along his hands and chest. So here you sat. in newts suitcase holding a small creature called a niffler in your lap. you and him have gotten quite close since the last year. unlike you and newts realationship that literally seemed stuck. you sighed “ i don't know what i should do niff.” you told the small creature nosing around your pockets for any shiny coins you might have brought along. ‘i don't want to push him into anything..but i cant wait forever..” the niffler realized you had nothing shiny so he just stood on your leg gazing up at you. “ does..does he like me anymore..?”

You rarely ever had thought like these. but recently you’re mood had been getting worse and worse. these thought aren't helping. the idea that newt has been getting tired of you was not helping whatsoever. a voice had pulled you back from these dangerous thoughts “y/n are you in here?”

You plastered on a smile one that was reserved for him. you watched as newt climbed down before his eyes met yours he looked at you taking in you're features before his eyes shuffled to the floor . you're smile faltered. you rubbed your arm awkwardly the air was tense. “ did you need something?”

“Uhm n-no not really just me and the others.. Tina Queenie and Jacob are going down to the pub and i-i was wondering if maybe...you wanted t-to go..?” you giggled at the idea of newt drinking. you knew newt he preferred anything over alcohol, unless under stress. his eyes looked up at you when his ears heard you laugh a small smile tugged at his lips. “you? drinking?” you asked another giggle escaping your mouth.

“uh well no not really but i thought it would be good for us both to go out..since we don't anymore....” he muttered the end of it he was right though you and newt never went out it wasn't always like that but he was always so busy with his beats that you thought it would be best not to bother him. you sighed again picking up the niffler and gently putting him onto he ground before dusting yourself off “when do we leave?”

walking into the bar your eyes immediately went to the familiar shape of queenie. she of course was not hard to find. queenie stood out, and i mean way out. “y/n its so good to see you” queenie spoke in her soft voice as she engulfed you in a hug “ i wasn't sure you were coming” she continued glancing at newt “hi queenie” you said giving her a smile. queenie led you too a table where Tina and Jacob sat chatting. tinas eyes lit up as she saw newt.

“newt!” she exclaimed loudly throwing her arms over newt and nuzzling into his neck. “hello Tina its been awhile” he smiled wrapping his arms around her as she giggled. your eyes burned and the familiar pain of you're chest tightening. “excuse me” you whispered walking past them into the ladies bathroom.

queenies eyes were on you as you made youre way to the bathroom she glanced at newt to see him chatting with tina and jacob. they all seemed oblivious that you were upset. queenies eyebrows furrowed as she made her way into the bathroom. she was not at all shocked to see you crying at the sinks

“oh y/n” she whispered you turned to see her staring at you with pity. you hated it. how pathetic i must look you thought to yourself “you aren't pathetic y/n its common for relationships to go through a bad time” you laughed to yourself “so you and jacob have not had sex in a year.” you eyebrows raised with a tiny smile ,she looked at you with a sheepish smile

“i didn't say that..” you laughed again before looking in the mirror. why would newt even want you he could have tina. you don't have the body of queenie of the face like tinas. you sighed wiping you eyes “why is he still even with me” you sniffled. queenie started laughing. Loudly. You looked at her in annoyance “im glad you find my pain amusing” you mumbled narrowing your eyes

“its not that just....y/n ..why do you think newt hasn't touched you yet?” you were confused. does queenie know something if so why wasent she telling you. “i don't know maybe he doesn't like the way my body looks or...or he has been thinking of breaking up?” your voice cracked at the end as a few more tears slipped out.

“y/n” she said firmly. “newt loves you” you shook your head “he...he has a funny was of showing it.”

you and newt were back at the apartment now. he was still very much awake. you sighed the thoughts coming back again. but this time you thought about what queenie said. she would never lie to you...maybe you do need to push him into this.A quiet voice broke you from your thoughts “y/n...could you come here love” shaking your head you turned to walk into the room newt had just called from. upon opening the door you froze at the sight in front of you.

there newt laid on the bed you both share, pink in the face breathing heavily as he fumbled with the buttons on his shirt. looking up at you he pouted ”..I need help” his voice cracking a little as if he was about to cry from frustration from his unsuccessful attempt to change clothes. your face was now the same color of his. “y/n?” he called out questioningly, quickly blinking you moved forward

“r-right sorry” you breathed out. coming around the bed side he was on you stared at him “uhm ..you may have to sit up” he was still breathing heavily as he stared at you with half lidded eyes. he blinked twice before lazily sitting up. he turned towards you. you took a deep breath in and got to work. getting down on your knees you stood in between his legs, as you worked on the buttons you could feel newts eye burn into you.

slowly the buttons came undone revealing his chest. even with all the scars on him, his skin was still so flawless to you. you could feel the heat radiating off of him. upon unbuttoning the last button his hand slowly cupped your face, shocked you moved your head up to look at him only to be met with his lips. he kissed you slowly as if he was savoring this. but as quickly as he kissed you he stopped pulling back he rested his forehead on yours.

your breath hitched. his lips parted but he made no noise. as he tried to move his arms he realized they were trapped. looking up he saw his arm cuffed to the headboard. his eyebrows scrunched up before he looked at you in confusion. you took a deep breath before you started too strip. slowly you took off your coat and then your shirt “queenie said..that you might like this” by now you were left in only your bra and underwear.

looking up you saw newts face was complete shock his mouth was wide open as well as his eyes.
