I am by no means an expert on the subject at all, but if I could give one piece of advice to people who are job hunting, it is to always save a copy of the description of any job you apply for. It’s getting RIDICULOUS out there (at least in my experience/industry) in terms of how long between when a job gets posted and when they start contacting applicants for interviews, and unless you have a photographic memory, or the job is still active on the website you found it on, you will forget details about the job before you get invited to interview and it’s probably not a strong sign if you ask the interviewer what the heck the job is again (even if it’s fair given the elapsed time and how many applications people expect you to have going at once).

If it’s not already available in PDF format, just click the print option on your browser’s menu when you’re on the webpage with the job listing and when it gives you the window with the printer specifications, select “save as PDF” on the dropdown of available printers instead and save it to the same folder where you’re saving your cover letters/resumes/application materials with the name of the company/job title/date you applied in the file name. easy peasy. I still forget to do this occasionally but even remembering to do it half the time has saved me a lot of trouble overall.

job hunting sucks and is demoralizing on the best day, so keep your head up, do little things like this to make your life easier, and remember that I love you 💖 you got this!

i think cloud absolutely always needs reassurance from his romantic partners about everything, and absolutely no one ends up being able to deny him…

zack? enthusiastic, constant doting, but if cloud starts truly needing reassurance he will sit there for hours gently and genuinely telling cloud how much he loves him, and every reason he loves him, detailing every good thing about him.

sane sephiroth? less constant or often praise but he can read cloud like an open book and will always tell cloud what he needs to hear when he needs to hear it, without cloud even needing to say anything.

insane sephiroth? still doesn’t praise cloud often but will compliment cloud on everything, especially and specifically any of his flaws, and he does it in a weird manipulative way but hey, whatever works i suppose…

rufus? a few head pats and some reminders that cloud is a “good boy”, no matter what he basically praises cloud the way one would praise a dog… he is in fact trying his absolute best though so it’s the thought that counts…

reno? always teasing cloud for one reason or another but when it comes down to it he’ll genuinely offer whatever kind of reassurance and comfort he can, although he still jokes around and tries to keep the mood light, he can be serious when its truly needed though.

Yes-Man resents a lot of things but I feel like he kinda liked Benny. It’s never implied Benny had the knowledge to continuously upgrade or update him after Emily so I like to think Yes-Man respected Benny enough to adopt some of his opinions willingly.

Like personality wise, Yes-Man is like if Benny was forced to be a kiss ass; he’s equally pointed and jerky even if unendingly helpful. No matter if you spare the Great Khans, Yes-Man dislikes them and is kinda violent about things. What this says about Benny and the way he talked about things behind the scenes is one thing but the other is Yes-Man ingrained it enough to keep it.

I can imagine Benny mentioning Vegas was for them and while Yes-Man is logical, as any machine would be, I think it’s sweet if the personable part of his programming was looking forward to running Vegas with his “creator”.

does anyone remember when team salvato had that “for fans by fans” fanart merch contest, but like it had a backstory that monika “wasn’t allowed to participate” cause “she always wins and it would be unfair :(” but like all images of her and mentions of her name were glitched out, and in the background of the promo art there was a piece of paper with her poem “Hole in Wall” mostly erased (and not even in her font asset, just in the neutral/MC handwriting font) so all signs pointed to monika’s file being deleted

but then literally none of that was ever directly acknowledged in the posts or the merch for the contest, or in ddlc+ lore, or on other posts from team salvato’s twitter or monika’s twitter account? so, though it probably wasn’t intended to be lore to begin with, we never got any context for it, even within the constraints of the “backstory” for this specific contest?

So I’ve got a few new Aus I’m working on and I’ll probably post something for all of them at some point, but for now I wanted to make a poll to decide which au happens first. I’ll do my best to follow this though I’m not promising anything.

Here’s a quick summary of each Au:

Magwood’s Will - Magwood lives on in the crown, wearing away at its wish over eons. By the time Simon puts it on, the crown breaks and Magwood takes Simon as its host. Pretty much lava werewolf/dog Simon.

Journey Time - A crossover with the game Journey. Finn is a wayfarer, Jake is a shapeshifting cloth dog and Bmo is a tiny war machine. Also includes world building on how the land of Ooo, the mushroom war and the elements would fit into the journey universe.

Hide and Seek - Finn never leaves the islands, growing up with with his birth parents and other humans. After a shapeshifting accident where Jake ends up adrift at sea, he ends up on the islands where meets Finn and has to pretend to be a normal dog when other humans are around.

A.I.ce - Instead of summoning Hunson Abadeer, Simon makes an ice clone of himself to look after Marceline when he no longer can, unknowingly using the crown’s copy of his consciousness to give the ice clone life. Ice Simon looks after Marceline from that point on.
