BITTERSWEET - CHAPTER 1
MASTERLIST
CHAPTER 1: | GIVE ME LOVE |
Lorena stepped out of her limousine in a town square of Mystic Falls. She was holding a phone to her ear, before addressing the driver who opened her door.
“Take care of the bodies.” she told him and he nodded. She walked away and the driver peered into the backseat of the car only to find three young men lying dead and slumped together on the seats and floor.
She looked across the street and saw a sign that said “Mystic Grill” and walked towards it. She sat at the bar and ordered herself a glass of whiskey and sent a message to Elijah that she arrived.
Few moments later she heard a voice behind her, one that she didn’t want to hear, “Hello, love.”
Her mood changed immediately, she glanced at him with a cold stare as he sat next to her, “Klaus.”
Klaus gave her a full blown dimpled smile, “Long time no see, love.”
“I should've known, you have Elijah daggered too, don’t you?” Lorena questioned, “And you were snooping around his phone and that’s how you knew that I was coming here.”
“Well my hybrid didn’t call me when he should..” Klaus begin.
Lorena interrupted him, “Because I killed him. I don’t like being followed.”
Klaus' smile disappeared from his lips, a few moments later he said, “I know you came here because of Rebekah. And you should know that all my siblings were undaggered last night.”
Lorena’s eyes widened, “You undaggered her?”
“Technically Elijah did after he was undaggered.” Klaus replied honestly, and stood up, “So are you going to come with me or stay here?”
・ • ・ • ・
Klaus took Lorena to his mansion where the rest of his siblings were preparing for the ball that should be happening tonight.
“Where is my dear sister, Rebekah?” Klaus asked as he entered the room, Lorena was close behind him.
“You just missed her, she left to compel herself a date for tonight.” Lorena heard another british accent that was unfamiliar to her, but he was definitely one of the brothers.
“You didn’t tell her that I was coming?” Lorena asked Klaus.
“I wanted it to be a surprise.” Klaus replied, “But she will be back soon.”
“And who is this tasty little thing?” His brother remarked as he stared at Lorena.
Klaus stood protectively in front of her, “Kol, I suggest you behave.”
Kol stepped up to Klaus challengingly, “What if I don’t? Are you going to dagger me again?”
The two of them stared at each other, glowering, bodies just inches apart from what would result in a fight if Elijah didn't step into a room, “Enough!” he said with a loud tone, “You should both behave in front of our guest.”
Lorena turned to him with a smile, “Elijah.” She greeted him with a hug, which he returned.
Klaus looked at them, not too happy that all he got was a cold stare.
“I’m sorry my brother fooled you into thinking that I’m coming to meet you.” Elijah apologized to her even if he did nothing wrong.
“I didn’t hear from you for a few months, so I did think that he must’ve done something to you.” Lorena spoke not caring that Klaus was there, “You promised me to bring Rebekah back and you did. So thank you.”
Klaus snorted, “And noble Elijah always keeps his promise.”
“That’s more than I ever got from you. The only thing you told me was that I’m never going to see Rebekah again.” Lorena snapped at him.
Kol smirks, “I like her.”
Klaus stared intensely at her before he swiftly walked away. She was right and he regretted everything he did to her.
As he exited the room he was met with his sister, “I hope you two are happy now.” She told her and she gave him a confused look, which disappeared when he moved and her eyes were met with Lorena’s.
“Lorena..” Rebekah breathed out as a smile appeared on her face.
Two girls rushed towards each other and hugged each other tightly.
“I missed you, Bekah.” Lorena told her, almost tearing up, “I’m really glad that you’re back.”
"I missed you too, so much." Rebekah replies, “I’m so sorry for what my brother did to you.”
They pull away from each other, “You know what happened?”
“Of course I know, why do you think he daggered me?” Rebekah questioned, and continued, “He wanted us to leave without you, I didn’t want to leave you behind, so he put a dagger into my heart.”
“Because Mikael found you, he said that he doesn’t want to put me in danger by being with the two of you.” Lorena told her.
“Well, Mikael is out of our lives now, Klaus killed him, so he will have to find a better excuse next time.” Rebekah informed her.
“Oh, I’m sure he will come up with something.” Kol stated, he looked at his sister, “Did you compel yourself a date for tonight?”
Rebekah rolled her eyes, “Shut up, Kol.”
“What’s tonight?” Lorena asked her.
“A ball, we should probably find you a dress.” Rebekah smiled at her.
Then Lorena and Rebekah went upstairs to her guest room, when they walked inside they saw a box on the bed.
“Well, looks like someone already beat us to it.” Rebekah remarked.
Lorena sighed, already knowing who, she walked towards the bed and opened the box, the first thing inside was an invitation card with Klaus’ writing on the back.
“Save me a dance.
Love,
Klaus.”
Under the card there was a jewelry box, when she opened it she saw a diamond earring and a necklace. And the last but the most important thing in a box was a dress. It was a simple yet elegant long black dress, just like Lorena liked it.
Lorena shakes her head, “I’m not gonna wear this, Bekah.”
Rebekah looked at her confused, “Why not? It’s beautiful.” Rebekah asks.
“Because it’s from Klaus.” Lorena stated the obvious.
“I know it’s from him but you don’t have anything else and I don't think we are going to find something better in less than two hours.” Rebekah tried to convince her.
Lorena exhaled deeply, “If I wear this he’ll think that he’s winning me over again.”
“Then I guess you’ll simply have to tell him that he’s not.” Rebekah gave her a small smile, “Wear it. You’re gonna look stunning.”
“Okay, fine.” Lorena gave up.
Lorena didn’t like showing up in his gift dress with his gift jewelry, but she had no other choice. She didn’t have anything to choose from.
・ • ・ • ・
Give me love like her
'Cause lately I've been waking up alone
Paint splattered teardrops on my shirt
Told you I'd let them go
And that I'll fight my corner
Maybe tonight I'll call ya
After my blood turns into alcohol
・ • ・ • ・
Lorena breathed out, letting the feeling of the party wash over her as she walked down stairs. The mansion was already crowded, there was classical music playing and waitresses going around and handing people their drink.
She walked across the marble floor, appreciating the way that the dress fit her perfectly. She looked around and the first person that she saw was Klaus. He had been talking to some woman and she was laughing flirtatiously at something he had said, but as soon as he saw Lorena he only had eyes for her. The change over Klaus’ face was instantaneous. His eyes literally brightened as he stared at Lorena in the dress and jewelry that he gave her. He didn’t really expect her to wear it, but she surprised him.
He left his conversation without a glance or a word, just to greet Lorena.
“Good evening.” Klaus said warmly, light dancing in his eyes.
Lorena raised her hand to stop him from getting any closer, “Before you continue to talk, I need a drink.” She walked away from him and Klaus looked at her longingly. He felt guilt again because he hurt her.
Lorena stood at the bar with a drink in her hand, surprisingly Klaus didn’t follow her, but she could still feel his gaze on her so she didn’t want to turn around.
“Hello, darling. You look lovely.” Kol stood next to her and gave her a smile.
Lorena returned a smile, “You don’t look bad either. You know I heard stories about you, Kol.” she told him.
“Only good I hope.” Kol smirked at her.
Before Lorena could reply, she heard Rebekah's voice, "There you are, Lorena." she smiled before telling her brother, "I need to borrow my friend now, sorry."
Kol just smiled and said, "See you later, Lorena." with an emphasis on her name.
Lorena gave him a smile back as Rebekah pulled her hand and dragged her away from him.
"I told you that you would look stunning, that dress is turning heads. Especially one in particular." Rebekah said as she glanced over Lorena’s shoulder.
Lorena rolled her eyes, "It's Klaus isn't it?”
Rebekah nodded, "I think he wants to talk with you."
"He does, but I don’t think I want to talk with him." Lorena told her and changed the subject, "Anyway, your dress fits you perfectly. You're always the most beautiful girl in the room."
Rebekah smiled, "Only when I'm without you."
A few minutes later Rebekah had to go and join her siblings on the stairs.
Elijah's voice rang out across the large room, "If everyone could gather, please."
Then Lorena saw a woman joining them on the stairs and she thought that that must be their mother, Esther.
"Welcome, thank you for joining us." Elijah spread his arms motioning to the crowd and continued to speak, "You know, whenever my mother brings our family together like this, it's a tradition for us to commend the evening with a dance. Tonight's pick is a centuries-old waltz, so if all of you could please find yourselves a partner, please join us in the ballroom." Elijah finished his speech and they all walked down the stairs.
Lorena was standing close by and saw both Kol and Klaus behind him walking towards her, but Kol was faster.
“Would you like to dance?” Kol asked, giving her his hand.
Lorena avoided looking at Klaus, who didn’t like the fact that Kol was interested in her.
“Why not.” Lorena took his hand and he led her into the ballroom.
The ballroom was beautiful with a chandelier on the ceiling lighting the whole room. The light in the room wasn’t too bright, giving it a little bit of a dim atmosphere to set the mood for this type of dance.
Kol and Lorena took their positions behind other couples in the line parallel to another that is also composed of couples. Lorena’s hands are holding Kol’s as they cross one another while they stand next to each other.
They turned their gaze forward before they stepped forward to go through a gap between Elijah who was with his date and Rebekah with hers, taking the place of where the other line was. Kol smirks, before he twirls her to take her into his arms, leaving a bit of space between their bodies.
The two of them swayed, their hands interlocked. Her other hand rested on his shoulder and his on her waist.
“Thank you, Kol.” Lorena whispered to him.
Kol gave her a confused look, “For what?”
“For asking me to dance before Klaus did.” Lorena told him.
"I think he is fine with his date." Kol said and switched places with Lorena so that she could see Klaus with some blonde girl across the room. In that moment Lorena felt something she didn't feel for a long time, jealousy. She wanted to bury that feeling, she thought that she shouldn't feel like that.
They danced for a few more minutes before they grabbed each other's arms, taking a step back from each other before Kol twirled Lorena into the arms of another man.
Lorena smacked right into Klaus’ chest, this time she was not able to avoid him. He pulled her body to his, holding her tight and took her hand in his.
Lorena let out a breath as he said, “I didn’t get a chance earlier to tell you how ravishing you look in that dress.”
Lorena shrugged, tearing her eyes away from him, “I didn’t have much time to shop.” She gave him an excuse for why she was wearing the dress he gave her.
Klaus smirked proudly, “And the jewelry I gave you, what's your excuse for wearing that?” he asked as he eyed her necklace and earnings.
“They fit the outfit.” Lorena simply replied, she didn’t let him trap her, “Don’t think that I’m wearing this for you.”
・ • ・ • ・
“Give me love like never before
'Cause lately I've been craving more
And it's been a while, but I still feel the same
Maybe I should let you go.”
・ • ・ • ・
When the dance was over Lorena quickly disappeared through the crowd and saw Kol who was standing in the corner of the room. He saw her approaching him and she seemed like she needed a glass of alcohol so he took two glasses of champagne, handing one to her. Rebekah joined them a few moments later.
"Sister." Kol said as he looked at her, "I saw you dancing with your date, if he's just a snack please do share him with me. I'm starving."
"Yes, Bex." Lorena agrees with Kol, "Where is he?"
"Flirting with his ex." Rebekah sighed in irritation.
A smile appeared on Kol's face, "You've changed, Bekah." he said inspecting the glass he was holding to appear indifferent, "You know, settling for mortals is the first sign of weakness."
As he predicted she was offended by the statement, "I'm not settling." she argued, "I bought him here to kill him. He's Elena's friend. If he dies, she suffers." Rebekah clarified as Lorena and Kol listened to her carefully, "But I've already been scouted once, I was hoping you could help your baby sister out."
"And spit right in the face of mother's rules." Kol grinned, "I'm in."
Then Kol walked off somewhere and Lorena and Rebekah kept talking.
"So that blonde is Matt's ex, I saw her dancing with Klaus." Lorena told her, looking over at the two of them who were smiling freely.
"Yes, she's just some newbie vampire. Nothing you should worry about." Rebekah teased her.
"Why would I worry about her?" Lorena asked.
Rebekah gave her a look, "Maybe you could foul someone who doesn't know you, but not me." She said, "Klaus is trying to make you jealous and I see it's working."
“Well, maybe I should make him jealous instead." Lorena told her.
Rebekah smirked, liking her plan, "I think you definitely should."
Suddenly Kol came back, he glanced between them with a smirk, "What are we waiting for? I'm itching to kill something." he asked his sister.
"Give me fifteen minutes to lure Matt outside." Rebekah told him.
"Outside?" Kol asked, "What's wrong with right here on the stairs? Make a spectacle." he suggested with a wide grin on his face.
"You sound like an idiot, Kol." Rebekah stated, "Mother would kill you if you ruined her party. I'll see you outside." she said and walked towards Matt.
“So you really are the fun brother.” Lorena stated, giving him a playful smirk.
Kol smirks back at her, “You ain’t seen nothing.. yet.”
When he saw that Rebekah went outside with Matt he asked her to go with him, but before Lorena could reply Klaus appeared between the two of them.
“She’s not going anywhere with you, she’s coming with me.” Klaus growled in a low voice and before Lorena could protest he vamp-speeded her to an empty room.
“What the hell, Klaus? You can’t just take me away like that.” Lorena raised her voice at him and began walking towards the door.
As she opened the door Klaus slammed them back closed with his hand.
“I can and I just did.” Klaus stated.
Lorena looked at him with an annoyed look, “What do you want?”
“I barely saw you the whole night.” Klaus spoke.
“Yeah, that was the point.” Lorena simply replied, crossing her arms, still not sure what he wanted from her.
“Almost every time I saw you, you were with Kol." Klaus pointed out.
Lorena laughed, "Are you jealous?"
"I just don't want you around him. He's a bad influence." Klaus told her to try to stay calm.
“Anything else negative you have to say about him? Because the more you talk the more I see how much you two are alike.” Lorena stated, “Maybe you can go and teach that blondie a trick or two.”
Klaus chuckled to himself, “Who’s jealous now?”
“I’m not and you can feed your ego somewhere else.” Lorena hissed at him, “Move away from the door.”
“What if I don’t?” Klaus asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Then tell me what you want because you obviously want something.” Lorena told him, losing her patience.
“I want you to stop hating me and for us to be friends again.” Klaus told her.
“Be friends?” Lorena asked with a laugh, “Why do you think we can be friends?” she questioned, raising her eyebrow, she couldn’t believe that after everything he wants to be friends with her.
“I mean if you want more..” Klaus shrugged his shoulders as he moved closer to her, “We can continue where we stopped.” he suggested.
Lorena shakes her head in disbelief and lightly pushes him away, “You really are unbelievable.”
“Just so you know I still care about you and I never stopped.” Klaus told her honestly, he was looking at her with an expression that she had only seen once before. Deep and fragile all at once.
“What do you want me to say, thank you?” Lorena said coldly.
“I want you to say how you feel.” Klaus told her, moving closer to her again, “How do you feel when I look at you or come closer.” Then he closed the gap between the two of them. Lorena gulped as he came closer and wanted to back away but he grabbed her hand. Klaus narrowed his eyes, wondering what was going on inside of her head, but he was adamant that he was going to get to the bottom of this situation, “Look me in the eyes and say that you don’t feel anything.”
Klaus placed his hand on the small of Lorena’s back, causing her to tense at the slight touch. He smirked as he felt her shift under his hand.
Lorena looked at the ground and closed her eyes, taking in a deep breath before she raised her head and looked at him, “I-I feel..” she spoke and Klaus slightly narrowed his eyes at her.
Suddenly the two of them hear some people panicking outside and he let’s go of her hand.
“I feel nothing.” Lorena blurted out and took her chance to vamp-speed away from him.
Lorena went to Rebekah’s room and locked the door. Then went to the bathroom trying to calm herself from everything that she felt. She washed her face, not caring if her makeup came off because she wasn't planning to leave Rebekah’s room anyway.
After about half an hour she heard someone knocking at the door and she decided to keep quiet in case it was Klaus.
“It’s me, I know you are here.” Lorena heard Rebekah’s voice from the outside and sighed in relief before walking towards the door and opening them. She stepped in and closed the door, “I was looking for you, why did you disappear?”
“Did you ask Kol?” Lorena asked her.
“Kol is not really in a condition to talk right now.” Rebekah informed her.
“Klaus daggered him?” Lorena questioned.
“No, why would he dagger him?” Rebekah said, furrowing her eyebrows and seeing that her makeup was smudged, “What happened? Were you crying?”
“I wasn’t crying, I just washed my face.” Lorena told her and looked away.
“Why, spit it out.” Rebekah demanded.
Lorena sighed and sat on the bed, “Klaus..” she began speaking but stopped, trying to find the right words, “Klaus asked me to be friends again or more. And he told me that he never stopped caring about me.”
“Oh, I see..” Rebekah muttered and sat next to her, “What did you tell him?”
“Well I told him that I don’t feel anything towards him and ran away.” Lorena replied.
“But that’s not true, isn’t it?” Rebekah asked.
Lorena shook her head down, “I can’t let him get close to me again.” Lorena said, a silent tear rolled down her cheek, “What if he breaks my trust again?”
“Oh honey, if anyone knows how hard it is to love and trust my brother it’s me.” Rebekah said and pulled her into a hug. Then Lorena broke into tears, letting them flow freely.
“I was holding so many emotions back and he triggered them.” Lorena said, her head buried in her best friend's shoulder.
“I know, but let me tell you something. In a thousand years I never saw Klaus caring about someone as much as he cared for you, and obviously still cares. Maybe he learned his lesson, he shouldn't have left you alone in Chicago.” Rebekah told her, trying to make her feel better.
“He shouldn't have daggered you, then nothing like this would happen.” Lorena said.
“He knew that I would never leave without you, that’s why he did it and I hate him for that too.” Rebekah told her.
Lorena wiped her tears and pulled away from her, “Enough about him, what happened with Matt? Did you and Kol kill him?
“Not exactly.” Rebekah shaked her head, “I changed my mind, but Kol tried to kill him anyway so Damon broke his neck.”
“Why did you change your mind?” Lorena asked her.
“I didn’t want to ruin my mother's party and he’s a nice guy.” Rebekah said.
“So you like him.” Lorena remarked, smiling at her.
Rebekah slightly smiled, “Uh, I should probably apologize to him.”
“Then go, before it’s too late.” Lorena told her.
“Maybe it already is.” Rebekah said sadly.
“You won't know until you try.” Lorena told her, “And if he doesn’t forgive you it’s his loss.”
“Are you sure that you’ll be okay alone?” Rebekah asked as she stood up.
“As long as I don’t see Klaus I’ll be.” Lorena said, nudging her to go, “Now go.”
“Okay, okay. I’ll come back as soon as I can.” Rebekah replied.
“You don’t have to. Go and get him.” Lorena encouraged her.
Then she left and Lorena locked the door again. She took her dress off and had a shower before she laid in Rebekah’s bed and fell asleep.
[ NEW YORK 1972 ]
New York had one of the best places for vampires to have a good time, so of course Lorena was there. Enjoying everything that nightlife had to offer. One of the best feelings in the world was when she just lost herself in the music, and being a vampire has its perks because she can feel everything that humans couldn't, music wasn't just music to her it was much more. But there was one more thing that Lorena liked and that was feeding on humans on a crowded dance floor. It was thrilling knowing that anyone could see if they just took a moment to look around them.
One night while Lorena was dancing in the club, and her mood changed instantly as her eyes landed on a familiar face sitting at the bar and smiling while waving at her.
Lorena turned around and began moving through the crowd so she could get away from him. He was the last person that she wanted to see.
Klaus suddenly appeared in front of her, "Long time no see, love."
Lorena deeply sighed as she faced him, "If you came here to tell me that you've undaggered Rebekah then we can talk." she told him.
"Well unfortunately for you, no, I didn't undagger her." Klaus replied honestly.
Lorena rolled her eyes, "At least you're honest about that." Then she turned to leave but he grabbed her hand.
"When did I ever lie to you?" Klaus asked.
"When you told me that you felt something for me, but if you really did you wouldn't have left me alone." Lorena reminded him.
"That's the thing love, I've tried to stop thinking about you but I can't. I want to apologize for everything I've done." Klaus said and placed his hand on her cheek.
Lorena took his hand off, saying, "And you think that apology after 50 years is going to fix something?"
Klaus looked down to the floor, "I was hoping for that."
"Well sorry for killing all your hopes, but I'm never going to forgive you." Lorena told him and used her vamp-speed to run away from him.

Next day Lorena was in her apartment working on some paintings and drinking wine, trying to distract herself from thinking about Klaus, just when she heard a knock on the door. When she opened them she saw that it was him, again.
"So I take it you're not going to give up?" Lorena asked him.
"I'm not the type to give up, love." Klaus replied and tried to come in but he couldn't because he wasn't invited in, "Are you going to invite me in?"
Lorena crossed her arms and asked, "Why would I?"
"I want to talk to you." Klaus said.
"Well we're talking." Lorena replied.
"Over a drink." Klaus offered.
"I can give you a drink if you want and you can stand there and we can talk." Lorena suggested.
Klaus sighed, "Come on, love, let me in."
Lorena rolled her eyes and though for a moment before calling out for her maid so she can invite him in.
"So you live alone here? No boyfriend?" Klaus asked as he sat down in the living room.
"I haven't really dated anyone since.." Lorena spoke and stopped when she saw him smirking.
"That's good to know." Klaus remarked.
"Why the hell are you smirking? I have trust issues because of you, that's why I didn't date anyone and didn't let anyone get close enough to me to hurt me, not because I think you’re irreplaceable." Lorena snapped, already getting irritated by him.
"So you think I'm irreplaceable?" Klaus questioned.
"No, that's not what I.." Lorena said and let out a groan, "Don't turn my words against me." and before he could say anything else Lorena changed the subject to a more pressing matter, "Where is Rebekah?"
"At the safe place." Klaus replied shortly.
"And that is?" Lorena asked.
“I can’t tell you.” Klaus told her, as he sat down.
“I want Rebekah back, Niklaus.” Lorena yelled at him and called him Niklaus because he didn’t like when she called him like that, “If you don’t want to bring her back then you can leave.”
Klaus stood up, "Don't yell at me." he shouted.
"I can yell as much as I want, it's not like you can do something about it." Lorena shot back.
"Is that a challenge?" Klaus smirked and before she said anything else he slammed her against the wall and started kissing her.
He slid one of his hands around her waist and pulled her closer to his body.
"The only thing you'll be yelling by the end of this is my name." Klaus said in a low voice against her lips, before he kissed her again.
Lorena pulled away saying, "Stop. We shouldn't do this."
Klaus looked at her still holding her tightly against him, "Give me one good reason why and I will stop."
Lorena thought for a moment but couldn't find any reason that would be good enough for him, "Oh, fuck it." she muttered under her breath before grabbing his face and pulling him into a kiss.
Lorena gasped when he lifted her up and she wrapped her legs around his waist, feeling his erection. Kisses became longer and more intense.
Both of them broke off the kiss for Klaus to take off his t-shirt and then he took off hers and started to kiss down her body, she moaned at his touch.
He came back up to her face, "Where is the bedroom, love?"
"Last door down the hallway." Lorena quickly told him.
Within the seconds she hit the bed with a sharp gasp and Klaus crawled on top of her.
He took off her bra and started kissing her breasts, she arched her back abruptly as he brushed his tongue around the tight nipple.
Then he took off her skirt and panties and started kissing her body, until he reached her neck and Lorena felt his fangs scrape against her skin.
"Klaus, stop." Lorena told him and he immediately stopped and looked at her confused.
"You really want me to stop, love?" Klaus questioned hovering over her.
Lorena only smiled at him before using vamp-speed to flip him onto his back and climb on top of him. Klaus never liked being on the bottom and he never allowed it, but now he did.
"You and I both always liked it when I'm in charge." Klaus reminded her, giving her a playful smirk.
"That was because I didn't have experience, after all you were the first guy that I've slept with." Lorena reminded him, she felt his erection grow as she moved her hips and Klaus let out a groan, "I've missed you, Nik."
"I missed you too, love." Klaus said, holding his hands on her thighs.
Lorena unbuckled his belt and undid his jeans pulling them down.
Then she took off his boxers and put his cock in her hand, "You really did miss me." She said as she stroked him before lining his cock with her entrance.
She sat down on him, making both of them moan. First she started to ride him slowly and lazyly, kissing his neck and sinking her fangs into him. When she withdrew her fangs she quickened her pace and started riding him hard and fast, moaning loudly together.
Klaus' mouth fell open as he lost himself in the feel of her riding him. He wrapped his hands around her waist and lifted his hips to meet hers.
The rhythm becomes disjointed as they both lose control and all senses slip away. There's nothing but the two of them and the extremely hot passion growing within them.
They collide together fast, hard and frantic as Lorena gasps for air and moans Klaus' name. Which made him spid up the tempo of his thrusts until they both reached climax and Lorena collapsed on top of him. She laid next to Klaus after a night of mind-blowing sex, breathless and satisfied. She leaned into his chest, letting her body relax against him.

Next morning while Klaus was sleeping next to her, she got an idea. Lorena tangled her hands into his hair, to try to get inside his head and see where Rebekah is, but before she could do it Klaus gripped her hands tightly and pulled her up, "Are you really trying to get inside my head right now?"
Lorena scoffed, "It was worth a try."
Klaus pushed Lorena off of him and stood up, "I can't believe you."
"What, did you really think that I actually wanted to sleep with you?" Lorena asked as she sat on the bed.
Klaus felt a little hurt by her words, but didn't want to show it, “I did think that this meant something to you too.”.
“Well it didn’t.” Lorena replied coldly.
Klaus gave Lorena an angry look before taking his clothes off the floor.
"Hurts doesn't it? Well that's how I've felt. Even worse." Lorena hissed at him.
When he was fully clothed, he turned towards her, giving her one last look, "You will never get Rebekah back. She is at the bottom of the ocean, where you or Elijah will never find her.” he exclaimed and disappeared.
