K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?

I was tempted to say Savathûn, but post-TWQ her arc kinda flopped, died, and is in the process of being half-heartedly resuscitated. I think it's Eris, honestly! She's had a brilliantly-crafted arc spanning almost a decade, and while I have 99 problems with Season of the Witch, her story was without a doubt the best part of it.

Drifter is the runner-up, because I like where his character is at in terms of his narrative arc, it feels like we've got here... without any fanfare, I guess? Maybe because we haven't had a Drifter-centric season since Arrivals (say what you will, I'm counting Arrivals for the sheer amount of development it gave him), and whenever he shows up he's just a supporting character -- and that's fine! I loved him in Plunder and Deep! But all his dialogue is just cracking jokes or being weird, and all the 'development' happens in loretabs, which have been really poor imo. He feels like a shade of himself in them, so uwu and cutesy. I want to see him kill a man!! Gah, it seems like such a wasted opportunity, as of Kept Confidence he no longer wants to run from the system, which was where his whole character was leading in the first place, but uh last time I checked he'd still wanted to dip, so when... did this change happen... when did he face his fear of death and suffering and violence and watching others die and conquered it or at least figured staying was worth enough living with that fear... I feel like the depth to his character has been sacrificed on the drifteris altar, and it sucks because I love that ship precisely because both of them are life-weary, haunted individuals who could beat each other's demons into a bloody pulp, but instead we're getting some coffee shop au tier fluff eh

F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?

It's definitely The Sims, and oh, hard to say, because while I don't really interact with the fandom since I got into Destiny in 2020, it's been a formative enough experience to be branded on my soul forever lmao. If we're counting the "active" years, it would be over 12, and 16 all together, which is quite frankly insane.

Well, a lot of people liked Lakshmi without really looking into her background. She is and always has been a leader of the Future War Cult. A political body that focuses on prophesising wars and, effectively, constantly in the state of fearmongering and warmongering.

I think a lot of people either didn't really know or forgot what the Future War Cult is. It's in the name.

Who even is SayNoToRage? Like I've seen the guy on YouTube but he was kinda boring

Ex-popular Twitch steamer also known as Lono. He’s a predator who stalked and sexually harassed multiple women, several of whom were also popular in the Destiny fanbase, leading to people like Byf and dgm04 knowing about it, but they didn’t say anything bc they didn’t want to out his victims before they were ready.

Eventually one of them told her story, and then another, and then another until even Bungie publicly denounced Lono saying they don’t support people like him, and his entire career was ended in a day.

His response was to tearfully read a script his wife wrote for him saying “Yes I did those things BUT I’M A DAMAGED PERSON I NEED HELP FEEL BAD FOR ME.” He later took it down and from what I heard he even later submitted another video claiming those women were lying (I haven’t seen the video though so I don’t know if it’s true.) 

Basically, he’s a bitch and got what he deserved. Which also strengthened my love for Bungie and this community because most of the time when a woman calls out predatory misogyny in the gaming community, she’s harassed off twitter and her assailant gets a new army of simps.

It's actually this place on earth that I'm building..metaphorically. I've been thinking about taking some old castle and having it be an outpost for all kinds of species...so like having guardians, eliksni, some rogue cabal, hell, im even toying with the idea of having some acolyte be there lol. She likes to chill there cause there's a lot to learn and lots of resources to trade/buy (she's super into tech/machine building, but with magic space shit infused in it....thats kinda a later plot point). People think its odd that she frequents the place cause she's a warlock (why isn't she in the city?), but no one questions her about it cause she's kinda terrifying lol. There's also other stuff that happens at this outpost but that's *spoilrrs* so...yeah. she also has another hang out place but thats also *spoilers(....so yeah c: please wait approximately 2.6 business years for the fic to come out to find out

I’m extremely charmed by this question so I’m gonna answer with a bunch of them

omen-5: would have ranked lists of mushrooms by “coolest to spot sprouting in the wilderness” “most useful” “deadliest” and would likely miss the point of being asked if xe likes to eat them for a good five minutes (neutral, food is just “okay”)

oni-42: very good, she has a fun time gathering them on her own and occasionally freaking people out by chowing down on very deadly ones

kostya: ehhhh not fond, but he’ll eat them in dishes if there’s a lot of other stuff to balance out the flavour

amita: bad. no.

chirraek: the hive make use of some strains of fungi and their spores to help convert other planets’ atmospheres to ones they’re more comfortable with, especially when they’re initially seeding and tunneling into them. of course chirraek knows about them, because getting the right mix of gases is important for optimal brood growth, and planning that is part of their job. these are the only mushrooms that matter

It's easy to overlook if you didn't see the picture of her with Ana from when they were kids! The picture can be seen in the E15 bunker lost sector on Europa and you can get it as a reward for the Europa camp by finishing a triumph I can't currently remember.

Davor (Warlock): Dav’s worst habit is definitely his reaction to the existential dread that comes with living for so long and understanding all the threats bearing down on humanity and soothing that with bouts of borderline self-destructively intense pursuit of immediate pleasures. Whether it’s with food, or sex, or alcohol, or materialistic things, chasing that little thrill of happiness as a distraction instead of dealing with his anxieties in a healthier way does take a toll on him eventually, but he keeps going back to those same methods he knows to work for at least a little while.

Adrian (Titan): In an appropriately titan fashion, Adrian shoulders a lot of responsibilities, too much sometimes and impossible things that he couldn’t possibly have control over, then takes the hurt of failing very deeply when something inevitably slips, leading to a bit of a despair spiral he’s then got to climb out of. All that said, he’s become a master of putting on a brave face and outwardly appearing perfectly collected, even when he’s very much Not Okay.

Chelidon-4 (Hunter): Chel is flighty, even for a hunter, and any time spent in the highly populated Tower is too much for them. It doesn’t take long at all for them to disappear back into the wilds, or at least to someplace less crowded, making them somewhat hard to contact when they are needed. In addition, they enjoy small, cramped spaces and being high up, leading to some unsanctioned exploring into the vent systems of the tower and making nests in little hidden nooks that eventually have to be cleaned up.
