OMG I WAS SO EXCITED WHEN I SAW MY REQUEST TY!!!
Ok so I have another one, This time it’s Shinobu kocho like reader x anemo characters (including my bb wanderer and albedo) and so basically shinobu is VERY short like 4’11 short, she uses poison to kill demons, she is always smiling Hashira has a cheery attitude even though she’s burning with rage on the inside, she is a doctor (technically) and her katana only the tip is blade because all she needs to do is stab her opponent to get poison injected into them, and she is also technically a alchemist. I’m sooo sorry if this is too much you don’t have to do all of it!!
fun fact: I only have one eye 👁
IM SO GLAD!! I love Albedo and the anemos so much oh my gosh!! Again this was a blast to write and I hope you enjoy!!
Also that's extremely cool! You totally don't have to answer but I'm just insanely curious...why do you only have one eye? 👀
─⊰⊹ฺ✿𝔾𝕖𝕟𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕟 ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕕𝕔𝕒𝕟𝕠𝕟𝕤⊰⊹ฺ✿─
{༻~Shinobu Kocho like reader!~༺}
CW: Mentions of fighting, reader with rage on the inside and slight teasing for being short, overall just super fluffy! Xiaos is a whole oneshot because it was super intense to write!
(Includes: Albedo, Xiao, Kazuha, Heizou, Venti, and Wanderer!)
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
𑁍༄Albedo:
Albedo glanced in your direction and instantly became mesmerised by you, your hair clipped up in your butterfly clip to keep the strands out of your face while you worked away concocting the next deadliest poison. To anyone else you'd most likely look like just another alchemist at work, but in his eyes, you were the most beautiful when you were experimenting. Especially when you were so deep into your discovery like you were currently, your attention completely focused on your potions, making you completely unaware of just how much he was unable to take his eyes off you.
Eventually he looked away, his face slightly pink as he went back to his own studies, only now he couldn't concentrate, his eyes drifting to you ever so often.
𑁍༄Xiao:
You knew Xiao could take on almost any beasts the world threw at him, but that didn't mean he had to do it all alone, especially when he was incredibly out numbered and injured from a previous fight. "Xiao! Stay back, let me finish the battle for you!" You shouted jumping in front of him as more hilichurls crowded around you both, swinging weapons of fire and shooting arrows in every direction, one wrong move and it could all be over in seconds.
"I can handle myself, you should be the one staying back!" He swung his spear, the blades slashing through the air as he sent another beast flying, no matter what he'd make sure you left alive...even if he couldn't join you in the end. "Always so stubborn." You muttered, as you went to work, your movements quick and thought out, the top of your blade sinking into hilichurl after hilichurl, poison draining them of their life force before they could even defend themselves.
You and Xiao fought side by side while your opponents numbers steadily decreased, his injury slowing him down as the seconds ticked by and your own body loosing its momentum as exhaustion took its place. Just as the battle began to reach its end, the walls around you began to shake, their once sturdy foundation now crumbling from the heavy burden of filling in for a arena. "Xiao! The place is going to collapse!" You screamed for him, but you couldn't see where he was, your eyes searching for him frantically.
Then suddenly arms wrapped around you, the battleground fading away while he teleported you just outside of the building, using the last of his strength. "Are you, alright?" He asked falling to his knees, making your mind cloud with worry as you kneeled beside him. "I'm fine...are you?"
"I'll be okay. Don't worry."
𑁍༄Kazuha:
You looked at the butterflies surrounding you, their bright purple and blue hues standing out against the rising sun, while the wind flowed softly, carrying them to their next destination. "You remind me of them, the beauty of a butterfly and the gentleness they bring as they flutter by, but unlike them, you have burning rage on the inside and I don't think you truly know how to handle it." Kazuha sat next to you, his eyes never leaving you as he spoke what had been on his mind for some time now...the things that made him worry everytime you two weren't together.
Your cheeks felt warm, partially from his compliments, but also from the slight embarrassment of just how well he knew you and how right he was about your situation, you didn't know how to handle the anger and every day you got closer and closer to loosing any control you had. "I don't..know how to...to help myself." You whispered, you sounded so weak in that moment and you wondered if he'd look down on you for that, but of course he wouldn't.
He put his arm around you as you leaned your head on his shoulder, the cold morning air making you snuggle up to him as the two of you watched the sunrise. He'd do anything to help you, especially because you didn't know how to help yourself...
𑁍༄Heizou:
Heizou held your hand, his fingers intertwined with yours as the two of you walked along the soft shore, sharing a stick of fresh sweet dango and talking about the most recent mystery he'd been investigating, one that just so happened to involve you. "And you're sure you had nothing to do with the toxic flowers going missing? You could tell me you know, just because I'm a detective doesn't mean I'll arrest you right away." He attempted, his sweet smirk and charm almost enough to make you share your little secret, but you simply couldn't.
"Heizou, I have nothing to do with those flowers disappearing and even if I did, you know you don't have enough evidence to actually put me at the scene, the only way you'd have enough grounds to take me in, is if I confessed. And we both know I wouldn't do that..." You smiled sweetly at him, placing a kiss on his cheek as he chuckled in defeat. "One day I'll catch you for your crimes."
"How about you just catch me in general?"
𑁍༄Venti:
You danced around happily, your hair slipping out of its clip as your jacket flowed around you with every movement, your smile bright while you hummed the words to the song that was playing. It wasn't often you got to be like this, free to have fun and dance without a care in the world, and you owed it all to the musician himself, the one you held so dear to your heart after just a few outings with him.
You couldn't really explain it, but he had a sense of wonder that you couldn't get enough of and as the song came to a end you hurried up to him, wrapping your arms around him in a tight hug while he laughed happily. "Venti your performance was incredible! I loved it so much!!" You couldn't contain your excitement, placing a sweet kiss on his cheek as they turned a light shade of pink, "Awe thank you, honestly seeing you dancing brought me alot of inspiration, I wanted to match the joy you were giving off and sing the words with as much enthusiasm as your movements held."
Your face instantly went red, you'd inspired him...
𑁍༄Wanderer:
"...you can't reach it can you." Wanderer watched in amusement as you attempted to stand on a chair to get something out of the top cupboard, but to no avail, you just weren't tall enough. "Shhhh, how is it I could kill multiple enemies at once with only the tip of my blade, but my height is enough to stop me from reaching the sugar?" You sighed in defeat, slowly climbing down and putting the chair back in its rightful place at the table.
"You just have to find a poison that makes you taller." He chuckled teasingly as you shot him a playful glare, "Actually...I don't think I need to. Wanderer, oh please, please can you, my hero, get me the sugar....I will forever be indebted to you!" The amount of sarcasm in your voice made him roll his eyes and yet, you calling him your hero...still made him feel good, he kinda liked being someone's hero, even if it was for something silly like this.
"Alright alright, I'll get it shorty." He smirked at you the entire time, even though he had to use a chair as well and when he handed you the sugar, you could tell he was absolutely filled with pride. "Thank you my hero!"

mama you been on my mind
Tumblr media
pairing: sam x reader | word count: 965 | warnings: one curse word, one super duper slight implication of nsfw | my masterlist
summary: this one's more about the vibes if i'm being honest, but it's about sam and the reader spending time together at a botanical garden.
author's note: i'm not sure how i feel about this one, but i couldn't get the idea out of my head, so i figured i'd share it with y'all. i feel like the idea could've been a bit more fleshed out, so i might come back and edit this later. we'll just see how it goes. also sorry that this one isn't quite as happy as my other fics/blurbs. also it was inspired by and named after the song "mama you been on my mind", specifically the jeff buckley cover, which i'll link below.
Laughter rang through Sam’s ears as you ran ahead of him, giggling and ushering him to follow you. As he caught up, he saw you pointing to a bush of tiny pink flowers. They smelled like heaven and were probably the prettiest plant in the whole garden. Sam watched you as you stared at them, unable to stop the smile that spread across his features.
You eventually turned to look back at him, asking “What’s got you all smiley?” as a quizzical look overcame your face.
“Nothing,” he replied, giving his head a small shake, “It’s just a really nice day.”
You looked at the sky above you and let a slight grin take hold, “Yeah, it really is. I’ve been hoping for weather like this.”
“Me too,” he agreed, “Just enough sun to not be cold, but enough clouds to not sweat our asses off.”
You let out a small giggle. “Yep. Couldn’t have said it better myself, Sammy.” He smiled in return, and you let a moment of silence fall between you, happy to just be in each other’s company. You looked at the different plants and flowers as you wandered down the garden’s path, occasionally pointing one out to Sam. A butterfly flew by at one point, landing on your head just long enough for him to snap a few pictures.
"How'd they look?" you asked eagerly.
"I think they're gonna come out beautiful," he replied, "Your pictures always do."
A small blush formed across your cheeks. "Thank you, Sammy," you giggled, "You're always so sweet."
He quickly shushed you, placing a finger over his lips. "Don't say that so loud," he said in a joking whisper, "I have a rock star reputation to uphold."
You rolled your eyes. "Whatever you say, Mr. Rockstar. I still think you're sweet"
A small chuckle left his lips, and then the comfortable silence returned as you two strolled along. You went back to looking at the foliage in quiet wonder while Sam could barely keep his eyes off of you. He focused on every excited breath you took and every plant that you seemed to take special note of. He finally broke the silence when your path forked into three directions, asking “So, where to next?”
After a brief moment of consideration, you replied, “That way,” pointing to the rightmost path, “i think we’ve already gone down the other two, and this one should come out by the cafe.”
“Oh, thank god,” Sam said, moving his hand over his stomach, “I’m starved.”
“Sammy, you should’ve said you were hungry! I wouldn’t have taken so much time stopping along the way,” you answered, a small wave of guilt painting your features.
“No, doll, it’s fine,” he assured you, “I want you to have fun without feeling rushed.”
You gave a reluctant nod. “Okay, but next time say something.”
“I promise,” he replied, “Now let’s finish up this trail.” He watched you excitedly walk ahead, taking in the wonder of your surroundings, glancing back occasionally to make sure he was following along. Seeing you so effortlessly happy made his heart swell. Joy radiated from you, and it made you all the more beautiful.
These were the moments that Sam treasured most. The times when you were so overcome with the world around you that everything else seemed to fade away. They were the moments when you were most yourself, and they were the moments that would stay in Sam’s mind for long after. It was times like these that made Sam remember why he was so in love with you.
He eventually caught up to you in the trail, and you excitedly grabbed his hand, pulling him to the latest plant you had seen. Soft laughter fell from his lips as you continued to point out flower after flower, elation pouring from every inch of you.
The two of you neared the end of the trail when your phone began to buzz. You quickly retrieved it from your bag and answered the call.
“Hey!” you began, happiness still coloring your voice. “No, I’m at the gardens with Sam. We’re about to have lunch,” you said, nudging Sam and gesturing to the cafe ahead. “Oh yeah, I’d love that! At six thirty?” you paused for a moment, “Okay, I’ll see you then, babe. Love you!” You placed your phone back in your bag and turned to Sam.
“Who was that?” he asked with genuine curiosity.
“Chris. He wants to take me to see that new movie I was talking about the other day,” you explained.
“Ooooh a date night, huh?” Sam teased, wiggling his eyebrows.
You gave him a small shove, “Yes, Samuel, my boyfriend wants to have a date night.”
He let a small giggle fall from his lips, “Well that sounds fun. You want me to drop you at home after lunch so you can get ready?”
“Yeah, that’d be really nice of you, Sam,” you replied, “Thanks.”
“It’s the least I can do,” he answered, “Now let’s go get some lunch.”
“Alright,” you laughed, walking ahead to the small cafe. Sam stayed behind, watching as the sun painted your hair and reflected off the small bracelets on your wrist with a small smile on his face.
He knew that you would probably never love him in the exact way he loved you, but in this moment, that was okay. He didn’t need a lifetime of sacred “I love you”s or secret touches. He was grateful for the love he had and the time he got to spend with you, and really, that was all he needed. It was enough to bask in your light and feel its warmth. And with that thought in mind, Sam moved forward, content to spend an afternoon in your glow.

It was a rather ordinary day, for a Monday. Classes had gone by smoothly, and the girls were all in the dining room waiting for dinner to be served. You volunteered to go upstairs and get Cordelia, your Supreme and super secret girlfriend. The two of you had officially been together for almost four months, and, given her status as Headmistress, she didn't want the other girls knowing until things got more serious. As you reached her bedroom, you noticed the door was cracked and you heard her voice coming from behind it, "So, she's on the way here?" You pushed the door open, and leaned against the door frame as you watched Cordelia pace back and forth. "One week, and one week only." Cordelia spat out as she hung up the phone and brought her hands up to rub at her temples.
"What's wrong, Ms. Supreme?" You asked as you made your way into the bedroom, causing the older woman to jump in front of you. "Oh, Y/N. You scared me." Cordelia said as she placed a hand over her heart and took a deep breath. "So who's on the way?" You questioned as you stopped in front of your Supreme, grabbing her around the neck and pulling her in for a kiss. She smiled against your lips as she playfully pushed away from you, "What are you doing? Anyone could see." Cordelia spoke, eyes focused on the door. "The girls are all waiting for us to go downstairs for dinner." You said softly, pulling her down to kiss her again.
Cordelia wrapped her arms around your waist and kissed you back, but you pulled back, remembering her previous conversation. "Don't distract me, who's on the way?" Cordelia just rolled her eyes, as she let go of you and headed toward the door, turning around to look at you as she spoke, "Oh, just a huge pain in my ass." You raised your eyebrows and pressed her further. "Madison Montgomery." The name rolling cold off of Cordelia's lips.
Your eyes widened as your heard that name. Before the incident, the two of you were basically inseperable, and, after she left, your world was turned upside down. It was certainly going to be weird to see her again, but it had been a weird year. You noticed that Cordelia had walked out of the room, so you followed in suite as thoughts from that night flashed in your mind.
Dinner was going by rather slow; the girls all involved themselves in mindless chatter as Cordelia sat silent at the end of the table. The ring of the doorbell and a knock at the door silenced everyone as Spalding ran to get the door. You noticed Cordelia shift uncomfortably in her seat as a familiar set of fast paced, high heeled footsteps approach the dining room. "Sup, bitches. Miss me?" A smirking Madison said as she came into view.
Cordelia cleared her throat before speaking, "Girls, Madison is shooting a movie nearby and needed somewhere to stay. She will be our guest for the next week." A few of the newer girls cheered and giggled, excited that a witchy movie star was staying with them. A few of them even offering up their rooms, but Madison just laughed and said, "I think I'll bunk with, Y/N." You turned around to see the smirk she was wearing, before looking at Cordelia, who was glaring daggers at Madison.
All of the girls were making themselves busy in the living room listening to Madison tell stories of her acting adventures, but you and Cordelia were still sitting in the dining room. It was almost silent, the sound of chatter and occasional laughter echoing through the house, but Cordelia eventually broke the silence, "You are not sleeping with her." Her voice cold and words sharp. "Well, I wasn’t planning on it, Cordelia? Do you really think she's gonna take the couch, though?" The Supreme just shook her head and softly repeated, "You are NOT sleeping with her." The brown in her eyes fading the black, causing a lump in your throat to form. As scared as you were, you couldn't help but notice how hot she was when she was jealous. "Yes ma’am", you thought to yourself as you slowly got up from the table and Cordelia started towards her office, so you headed to your room to gather a few of your things.
"How are you, dear?" You heard from your doorway, not surprised to see it was Madison. "I'm fine, and I really don't want to talk to you." You said sharply as she made her way further into your bedroom. "Now is that any way to treat your guest, Y/N? Come on, just let me explain myself." Madison said as she sat down on your bed, looking at you with pleading eyes. "No, Madison. You cheated on me, no need to explain." You looked at her, expecting her to try and make an excuse for herself, but she stood up and made her way closer to you, grabbing your hand as she spoke. "Look, I know I fucked up, but let me make it up to you." Before you could protest, the sound of someone clearing their throat caught both of your attention. "She will do nothing of the sort, you will be on your best behavior for the next week or I will throw you out. You are perfectly fine staying in here, Madison, but Y/N will be staying in my room." Cordelia spoke from the doorway.
You stood there in shock, as Madison looked up at Cordelia. "Cordelia, huh? Cute." Madison said as she backed away from you and crossed her arms over her chest. Cordelia just winked and said, "I'll see you later, Y/N." as she made her way to her bedroom. You looked over at Madison and chuckled, "Well, goodnight Madison." She just rolled her eyes as you grabbed a change of clothes and walked out to the hallway, noticing the other girls peering out from their bedrooms.
As you made your way into Cordelia's bedroom, you saw her laying on her bed and reading. "You realize you just outed us to the whole Academy right?" You said while closing the door behind you and making your way next to her on the bed. "And?" She asked, not looking up from her book. "I was just making sure you knew." She grabbed her bookmark from the nightstand and placed it between the pages before closing her book and setting it aside. "Would you rather be sleeping on the couch." She asked as she lifted her arm so you could cuddle into her side. "No, I think I'm good." You said softly as she started playing with your hair, lightly chuckling at your answer. "Now let's just get through this week as easy as possible." Cordelia spoke as you yawned and nestled closer into her side and the two of you slowly drifted off to sleep.
